TLDR: Stay away and get to an actual hospital. Me and the missus were out walking in a remote area in Ubud at night where we met a giant hole on the sidewalk all of the sudden. After the fall we needed immediate medical care, and we’re taken to the Kenak Medika facility in a Ubud. Not only did they fail twice when injecting lidocaine before suturing our deep lacerations - but they also forgot to clean the wounds properly - and we have since been at a hospital in Denpasar for two weeks getting all 3 wounds reopened, stitched and cleaned, again, as they were all badly infected. They also managed to miss a few fractures on the x-ray and CT scan imagery - that we found out about when we needed to get to a hospital in Denpasar one day after we were discharged and in good medical condition by Kenak Medika. The nurses are also nothing to brag about, when complaining about severe pain they’re only response is to wait 8 hours until the doctor comes in. And last but not least - the Hippocratic oath means nothing to any doctor at the facility, seeing as two musketeers who didn’t speak English with an bank terminal and little to no patience to await an insurance verification hindered us in getting emergency treatment. When I did just decide to pay them, they refunded the wrong amount to my account after the insurance provided payment, about 30 minutes after I paid. So if you have the chance, stay the hell away from this facility and get to an actual medical facility - this hospital sure looks nice on the inside and outside - but they are in no way shape or form medical professionals.

If you're in Bali and need some medical attention. So far this is the best hospital/ clinic in Ubud area, clean and the facilities are new. In Nusa Dua area, The BIMC hospital is better and in Renon BROS (Bali Royal Hospital) is also good but busy - more for surgeries. So far these 3 are the good ones in Bali.

They just give you antibiotics without actually checking what the problem is. Just avoid the place and go to a hospital for emergency or specialist. Please also be more transparent with what you charge for. We got charged twice in a sneaky and not transparent way

We’ve in Ubud for three months with a baby who got ill more than once. This clinic was a blessing. Highly recommended for their service, friendliness, cleanliness of the clinic and superb communication and after “sales” 🙏🙏🙏

A modern clinic with new equipment. Kitas holders get great discounts. For example, an X-ray costs 200-290k and a check-up from 900k. The staff is friendly and speaks good English. Special praise for the design of the clinic.

In my personal experience, i recommend Kenak Medika. Since all the staff from doctor to nurses at kenak medika were fantastic and really helpful, especially to dr. I Gede Endha Narendra, Sp.THT-KL (ENT Doctor). So they receive a 5/5 from me 👍🏻

Such a great hospital. I met a nurse who was the sweetest person I have ever met. And the orthopeadic surgeon too. Both super smart and amazing. 10/10

This hospital deserves 8 stars! Been there for a Bali belly in the middle of the night, they kindly and professionally treated me as the best they could. Performed all the medical test (blood etc) to find out what the reason of my sickness was. Came back with a full digital report and solution in no time. They accomodate me in the emergency room and gave me any kind of possible help to let me calm down as I was sick and scared. The Doctor was very professional well spoken English and also very knowledgeable. The nurses were amazing and professional too. I could not have asked for better assistance! My granpa used to hospitalized in Kenak Medika, the facilities and staff are superb! Also, my other granpa got an emergency during Galungan Day and has to go to hospital immediatelly. We were struggling to find ambulance everywhere, Puskesmas (even there was 2 cars stanby but none of them can help), Ari Canthi (after asking their managment, suddenly they inform us that they had to use the car for other patient) and other clinic. Eventhough, my family decided to brought my granpa to other hospital, Kenak team were doing their best to ask to the management and arranged the car immediately. We want to thank to Kenak team (especially WhatsApp customer service and the driver), depsite my granpa has left us on the day after. Thank you very much Kenak Medika for your help! Never again - completly unprofessional!!! Unfortunately, I cannot understand the good reviews. As you can see most of them are written in Bahasa and they did only this Review. Seems to be fake. I paid over 250€ for a smear test and an examination. Instead of discussing the results afterwards, I received lab results via WhatsApp (no data protection at all). There was no consultation afterwards with the doctor. When I asked questions, I had to write back and forth with a Call center via WhatsApp. It continues until today. I have questions And the doctor dont call and the call center has no skill Level. I bought some medicine from the pharmacy myself now because I did not get any help from this hospital. I have never seen anything so unprofessional in my life. Please go to another hospital and get real help. Here you will get nothing!

Kind and professional with top tier services. Went to emergency care. they helped me immediately and I was in a bed within 15 seconds. Blood test took 20 minutes and the care was outstanding the whole way. Highly recommended.

Got fever every nights for 3 days. dosent get better even if take a pill for flu which i got from the clnic in the resort. In 3rd night, i dont have any choice but to go to emergency hospital. In the emergency room, Dr. Deny listen carefully what we are saying and explained us kindly. Actually, because its our first time to foriegn hospital, we worried so much and asked a lot. We’ve been here for 3 times with our toddler, and every time, we’ve had amazing doctors who are insightful, compassionate, and so helpful. They also speak really great English and took time to explain everything to us. Dr Mirah (dentist), the pediatrician, and the ER doctor were all so great. The space is clean, bright, and modern. We feel lucky to have such a wonderful hospital so close to us in case of emergencies. Thank you, team! Only downside is billing & reception takes a while (they must have a complicated system or something) so you have to be patient

I have arrived at Kenak Medika Hospital during my holiday in Bali/Ubud with a severe cold, sore throat, headache, clogged nose and ears. I was immediately taken into care by the nurse and doctor. The doctor explained to me very clearly and calming everything that they will do. They have prepared an infusion solution, blood tests. The results came in 30 minutes and after the infusion solution, I was ready to go back to the hotel with all my meds allocated per day/ hours. I cannot describe in words the care that was given to me. Excellent service, hospital, very modern. Thank you again!

Amazing experience here ! We were received by docteur Ayu Windari the most competent, passionate and kind doctor. My German friend had dengue fever since 3 days they performed a blood test and with good results didn’t need to keep him at hospital but gave him the choice. We got complete explanation of results by doctor Ayu and know more now about dengue fever. They gave us got vitamins and electrolytes to rehydrate the body. The blood sample was taken very effectively without any pain and results were very fast. We knew from the beginning the price for consultation. 2 days later, we came for another check and got another doctor consultation and blood sample check, everything went smoothly, doctors and nurses speak really good English and are very competent. Definitely recommend this place for foreigners on holidays ! It is very modern, clean and professional. Thanks a lot we felt really happy to have come here and received such good care.

My 8 year old got a high fever during our trip and the pediatrician there was really thoughtful and precise with the treatment. He was able to get IV, took a Covid test, and got necessary medicines. It was also such a relief to be able to connect with the doctor there via WhatsApp and the doctor asked how he was doing on the next day on chat. The receipt was also sent on WhatsApp so easy to process for the insurance. Thank you to a doctor and nurses who took care of him🥰

Excellent service!!! I come to Kenak with my own health issues, but also with my kids - and I can truly recommend this Clinic. They are professionals with great diagnostics infrastructure. After many bad experiences with Siloam - we now come here and have the best in class treatment!

All medical staff looked after me extremely well. I believe i got better care than i would have in Australia. This is a professional international standard hospital. Admin side, dealing with my travel insurance was a bit difficult as it was largely left to me to do which is not easy when you are sick.

I felt very sick because of food poisoning. The team of Kenak Medika Hospital was very kind and helpful. The doctor listened carefully and gave all the information I needed. They helped me in the middle of the night and took good care of me. After the treatment I immediately felt much better. Thank you, very good service!

The service provided here is unfortunately quite slow, making it difficult for me to recommend it to anyone Specially with urgent medical needs. The waiting time can extend up to two hours, or even longer. However, if you have a generous amount of free time, perhaps around 2 to 3 hours to spare, then you may consider visiting this hospital. It is worth noting that their proficiency in English is also quite limited, which can sometimes lead to communication challenges.
