A beast of a hotel in one of the prime and fashionable location of Seminyak. It’s quite a groovy hotel in the centre of Seminyak and everything is so accessible within a jiffy. I stay for three nights in their suite room which had a quaint little balcony and it is probably one of the best rooms they have to offer in their Hotel. Absolute perfect stay. The only thing they can upgrade on is their breakfast menu especially for vegetarian and vegans. If they could add an Indian menu option, nothing like it !

I had a fantastic hotel stay in Seminyak! The cleanliness was impressive, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. The excellent breakfast and the central location made it convenient. The long swimming pool and rooftop bar added a delightful touch to the overall experience. The hotel also exceeded my expectations with its large, comfortable rooms. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. It added another layer of satisfaction to an already delightful stay. Highly recommended

Very nice place to stay! Highly recommended. The hotel is beautiful with a unique interior. We love how they decorate the lobby! Two thumbs up to the design. The room is huge and clean. The breakfast is really good. And if you stay during the weekend, you must try their BBQ night, so good and worth it for money. The rooftop pool is so stunning, you can enjoy all day at the pool and end the day with an amazing sunset view from the rooftop pool. The location is in the heart of Seminyak, easy to go anywhere and near all the best spots in Seminyak. All the staff are also so nice and friendly. And the best thing about this hotel is their 24 hours check-in concept! So, if you check in at 4 pm, you will be allowed to stay until 4 pm on the next day! Never had like this before! We hope next year we can come back to this hotel again! 🙂

We had a comfortable four night stay at U Paasha! The hotel is very conveniently located with convenience store located just opposite with many shops and restaurants around too. Our room and hotel corridor are incredibly spacious. Its rooftop pool is nice with great view and there are many seats available. What stood out the most compared to other hotels is its 24hours check in check out policy! This was especially great as we arrived late at 10pm and our return flight was at night too so we get to stay in our room till evening before we check out. They have their own app which made it really easy to request for additional items like dental kit. Breakfast buffet was decent but I wouldn’t say it’s very good - in fact we chose to have our breakfast at other place nearby instead for one morning since there’s no lack of good cafes in Seminyak.

We stayed two nights in U-Paasha Seminyak and we liked it a lot. The option for 24 hours check in/out is a plus. The breakfast was quite delicious and there was a lot of choice. Welcome drink was good with different choices. The location is very good, it is in the middle of the Main Street of Seminyak. The staff was very friendly. Especially we had a conflict with a local in Seminyak and our hero Detha saved us and he solved the problem. I really appreciate his support. If I come back again to Seminyak, I will definitely stay there.

We spent a lovely 3 nights - super comfy bed, large room with sitting area. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning (& happy hour cocktails on the rooftop each night!) and all the staff are friendly and helpful. Easy to walk around the area and lots of restaurants and bars close by. ☺️

This hotel offers a very unique 24hr experience - check in at any time, and stay for a full 24 hours. You can have breakfast at any time - if you miss the buffet (until 11am), simply order any breakfast item from the room service menu and they'll deliver it to your room. My stay also came with a welcome drink, which i had at the rooftop bar next to the pool (great views up there). Note that you have to climb stairs to get to the pool & bar, so it's not for those who can't manage stairs. Rooms are very big and spacious, which was great! But the downside of big rooms is that they aren't as cold since the centrally controlled air-conditioning cannot go colder beyond a certain temperature (my room felt like a constant 23-24 deg C although I prefer 20-22 deg C). There is complimentary shampoo & body lotion, but no shower gel or conditioner. They do give you bar soap though (choice of scent available). Staff are friendly and helpful! Only thing I didn't like were the stairs up to the main lobby (heaving luggage up those stairs is no joke).

All round I love this hotel. The rooms are spacious but the place needs some maintenance and updating, especially the bathrooms. It is looking rather tired. The breakfast service and food are impeccable. The loveliest staff and great quality food and selection. Excellent! The pool is so-so. Limited lounges and toppers. Shade is a luxury here and being on the roof-top, can get quite hot.

My friend and I loved U Paasha. The rooms were very big and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable with good linen. Whilst there are elements of the hotel that are a bit dated, this is well and truly made up for by the incredible customer service and friendliness of the staff. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the buffet breakfast was exceptional. Andy, who I think was a trainee, checked us out and he was very professional and ensured that our last interactions were very positive. Location is excellent as well and the sunset and view from the rooftop pool and bar is great. Gym is also very good. Will recommend and stay here again. Thank you UPaasha

Nice big hotel located on the mainstrip in Seminyak. They offer 24hr check-in service which comes in handy if your arrival time is late/early. It also means however, that your check-in time will also be your check-out time. Service is good and the staff are quite friendly too. Always smiling and greeting you each time you walk by.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, my experience had its share of ups and downs. The check-in process was far from smooth, as my assigned room wasn’t ready due to another guest not having checked out. This is a huge downside of offering 24hr rooms. Despite the situation not being my fault, I faced resistance when requesting a comparable alternative. After arguing with the staff for 45 minutes , I was finally given a room that matched my original booking. It should have not been this difficult. However, the disappointment continued when I discovered the cleanliness issues in the room. Placing a white shirt on the floor resulted in it being covered in black dirt and dust. Although the rooms were of average cleanliness overall, this particular incident was disheartening. In the upside, the pool was beautiful and this was a nice element to our stay. I believe such challenges should be addressed promptly to uphold the reputation of a hotel. I hope my feedback serves as a constructive way to improve the experience for future guests. Despite these setbacks, I appreciate the eventual resolution and hope for a more seamless stay next time.

This is a nice little hotel. The breakfast buffet it was just mediocre. The lobby entrance is a little dark. The room is spacious and well thought out however, it was disappointing that the balcony did not have visibility of the beach. I gave the location a three because it’s about 12 minutes to walk to the beach and it’s kind of on a busy street. The two things that are best about this hotel are the size of the room. It is very spacious. Also, if you are like me and like to work out, they partner with a gym right next door so you can go in as a hotel guest and use this gym which is way better than your average hotel gym. The reason I gave it three stars was the mediocre location the mediocre breakfast and the thing that drives me most bonkers; false advertising. In this case, they claimed they had a computer for guest.s to use which I like because I am on vacation and I don’t wanna schlep my computer with me but occasionally I like to log into a few things to check on things, Normally, for such a false advertisement I would have downgraded to a two star, but I think they meant to say work area and they said library with computer for guests. I hope they will change this verbiage and make it correct.

Pros: - staff very polite and friendly always willing to help. - breakfast (buffet) quite good and tasty with different options to choose from: Indonesian food, homelettes, benedic eggs, toast, bakery, fruit, pancakes, juices, coffee, tea..etc - sunny pool on rooftop with great views - good location surrounded by loads of shops, restaurants, bars and walking distance (10-15minues) from the beach. Cons: - bit outdated. - noisy Aircon. What really makes this hotel stand out from others is their staff, always smiling, polite and willing to help as much as possible. I asked for a quiet room with views and they made it possible even though there was no availability at the moment that I arrived at the hotel. The lady who checked me in was very polite and professional. The room was very big, spacious, with loads of natural light (5th floor) and very quiet. The only negative thing that I can say is that in general the hotel is bit tired and outdated. For example, heavy furniture with small cracks and marks (stool, desk), stains on bathroom tiles and ceiling at shower area, unpolished floors, dark corridors...etc. Everything was clean but for the state & style of the furniture, bathroom and corridors you can clearly see that the hotel has been operating for quite a few years already and needs an update to fresh things up. Pics posted on social media are bit misleading as they don't show the reality. If management invests some money to update and improve these things it could be a 5* hotel. Would I recommend this hotel? If you are not looking for the newest hotel in the area, then yes I would recommend this hotel. The staff will make your stay very pleasant and you will enjoy a good breakfast and the convenient location. But if you don't care about friendly and polite staff and you want the newest and a more instagramable  hotel, then you rather look for other hotel as I don't think this will satisfy you. Overall is a decent hotel that could be great with small refurbishment process.

For a cheap resort this is quite nice and very convenient to everything in Seminyak. I would recommend a higher floor room towards the rear of the building as there can be some street noise late. The roof top pool is nice. The breakfast is ok not great but not bad. But there are plenty of breakfast places just around. Did use the gym which is out of the 1980’s and basically a heat box with no towels. But you get what you pay for.

The hotel's location was favorable, being close to restaurants and shops, and it was approximately a 10-15 minute walk to the beach, although it might feel a bit long on a hot day. During our 6-night stay, we had an overall positive experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, on the first day after checking into our room, there was a disruptive noise from neighboring hotel guests. Thankfully, the hotel promptly moved us to a different room. On my first night, I was awakened at 1 am by a loud noise coming from the roof, which was later identified as a lizard moving around. The staff mentioned this had happened in the same room the week before. They relocated us to another room for the third time, and from then on, our stay was enjoyable. The breakfast offered a decent selection, but the coffee was rather average, as it was self-served from coffee machines.

We had a great stay here - room was lovely, service was excellent and facilities were great. The pool was lovely, especially around sunset and happy hour and breakfast offered extensive options, all of which were good. Great location walking distance from all the Seminyak essentials! Great value for money for a middle of the range price point. Would stay again!

We stayed 9 nights with no problems. Breakfast is good, many options. Location is great. Staff are all kind. Swimming pool is good place to relax, just drinks are expensive. More expensive than beach club.... We used taxi servixe from the airport then realised we paid 4 times more than normal price....other than this, great value for money. Spa was good too. Will be back.

UPaasha in Seminyak has been a wonderful stay. We arrived on Saturday and are here till Sunday evening. The experience has been fantastic. The rooms are very generous and the staff have all been attentive and happy to help in any way they can. Special mention for all the wait staff and chefs at the Alcove, and the hard-working staff up on the rooftop bar. I feel like I've really been looked after at Upaasha and it's been great. Also to Suma who has been cleaning my room with a cheery smile and a wave every time I see him. The hotel location is in the middle of Seminyak and could not be in a better spot.

Amazing hotel with beautifully designed rooms and a great rooftop pool that offers a stunning sunset view. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Staff is well-trained, passionate and provides great service. For a 4-star hotel rate, you definitely get an experience similar, if not better, than a 5-star hotel. Every one of my family enjoyed the stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone who seeks high value-for-money hotel experience.

Have stayed at upaasha several times since they have opened. It is starting to feel a little tired and worn. The breakfast needs more vegan options. Seminyak is a vegan haven but they are still serving very little options apart from fruit and bread. The sound system around the pool is no longer playing music and the umbrellas are all falling apart. The massage service is also not so great. The rooms are large and amazing but the decor definitely needs an upgrade from what it was ten years ago. This place is marketed as luxury accommodation but unfortunately I don't think that it has kept up with the times and other hotels are offering much more for the price paid. I hope this feedback is taken constructively as I mean no harm as I do love staying here each time.

Been coming to Upaasha Seminyak multiple times, we like to stay for our last leg in Bali, they offered 24hrs check in/out and shower and luggage storage for late flight. The service is always brilliant, super friendly and well trained staff. Prompt check in/out. Room is spacious, bathroom is spacious, well built with lounges and day bed in the room. The Hygiene kit is a nice gesture. The hotel is well priced! Breakfast spread is one of the best for boutique hotel. They also often changes the menu. Indonesian and fruit section is great too! Super tasty! Rooftop Pool, great sunset sometimes too full and not enough shades but overall is not a concern. Location exactly on eat street Kayu Aya easy to find and big car park, easy to get anywhere. Perfect! Will always going to be one of my favourite place to stay if we aren’t stay in the Villa.

First time staying at U Paasha, and enjoyed our four nights at the hotel. Rooms surprised us as to how large they where. Location in Seminyak could not fault. Just outside the hotel is the shopping strips, short walk to the beach and plenty of good quality restaurants within 5min of hotel entry. Breakfast was substantial, with quality and range as expected for the price point of the accomodation. Roof top pool is a good bonus, plenty of available sun beds and good views of the area. Roof top bar lacks ambiance, but again it offers variance of seating with good views. Gym was well appointed, but just in need of some better hygiene control, but otherwise everything you needed. Whilst the rooms are well sized, they are showing signs of wear and age. We traveled with our three children, and the only disappointment was we couldn’t have rooms close by (they where located on another level to our room), despite when booking requesting for them to be as close as possible. Whilst I know they can’t guarantee side by side, I do think they could have done better than locating our two rooms on alternative levels. Staff couldn’t be faulted. Warm, welcoming and very attentive to whatever the need. No issue in recommending as a place to stay if after a safe, clean and short stay location that is well located in Seminyak.

Good value for money and very friendly staff. Great views from rooftop and pool. Delicious breakfast. Some small details could be improved like the cocktails at the bar were a little flavourless, pool chairs and rooms need a little revamp.

  • 5/5 Paul F. 1 year ago on Google
The difference between a Hotel and U Paasha is the staff. I have traveled a fair bit and the staff here were phenomenal… just the most friendly kindest people you will meet. Great breakfast 🍳 Also the rooftop pool bar and food were fantastic Don’t miss Fridays movie 🍿 and sunset 🌅 … I’m definitely coming back

We will stay again (for the following reasons) - huge rooms/bathrooms - newly renovated rooms (we stayed in 205 & 207) - super friendly/helpful staff (in all areas) - lovely roof top pool and we’ll equiped gym in the basement - a great range of breakfast options. Many changed daily - well managed. We had some issues with noisey guests disturbing our sleep. The issue was well managed. - location, location, location…. In the heart of east street. Possible improvements - roof top bar cocktails were very inconsistent. The same cocktails tasted different each day. Sometimes not good at all. - ensure enough working treadmills. We tried to use one several times but there were either being used or not working. Thanks for a wonderful stay U Paasha team

Great buffet breakfast with Eggs Benedict each morning was a highlight. Very friendly staff with a great pool area with poolside bar and food service. One huge downside for us was due to the extortionate laundry rate which we got stung for. We paid $35 AUD for a few shirts, jocks and socks to be washed. If we pay good money to stay, please don't be so petty about charging those ridiculous laundry prices.

We stayed at U Paasha for 3 nights. The location is great and close to all bars, cafes and restaurants. The roof top swimming pool is awesome. The room was specious and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Leo and Eva from reception were very helpful! Really recommend this place.

We loved our stay here and definitely coming back for sure. It had a fantastic view from the room as well as from the pool on the roof top. The sunset is beautiful there. The breakfast was well-dined and the room dining was absolutely fantastic. We ordered almost every menu. The room is very clean, but the shower and the toilet might be a little bit too big. Every staff was more than kind and warm. I sincerely am grateful for the experience here.

Great staff and perfect location for Seminyak. Good price also. Had stayed here previous to covid and was perfect but found on return it seemed maintenance had been neglected. Ceiling in our room had mould all over it and all through the curtains.

"I had an excellent stay this Hotel. The staff's hospitality was outstanding, and they went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The room was not only immaculate but also tastefully decorated. The hotel's attention to detail truly enhanced the overall experience. The amenities provided, from the room to the restaurant, contributed to making my stay truly exceptional. I would highly recommend this Hotel for those seeking an excellent and memorable stay."

Such a great value! What I liked most was the gym which is not your regular hotel fitness room and breakfast which was really good for the price and south asian standards. The pool looks really nice too! What could use some improvement and renovation are rooms - they arent the most modern and new but they are big and clean. The location is great as well, in the heart of Seminyak. Overall very pleasant stay!
