Pretty disappointed. I asked for just a trim and minimal long layers. I brought inspiration pics as well. Instead they cut my hair way shorter than I asked for and gave me choppy, uneven layers. They styled my hair and I did not notice how bad it was until I washed and air dried my hair a few days later. Update: they did kindly reach out to me and offer a refund which I greatly appreciated. Added a star back for this reason.

Belated review. We found this place by happy accident, and we were very impressed. The head massages were out of this world. Wish we had something like this back home in Australia. Amazing service from the ladies there and they have a separate area for men and women; so everyone can relax! Lol This business has a few franchise businesses around and it’s easy to tell why it’s successful. They have a great business model, service is good and their service menu is extensive. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

We recently visited The Shampoo Lounge in Seminyak, and I'd like to share my experience. Despite undergoing construction, they were still open for business. My wife decided to indulge in a hot stone hair spa, and my daughter opted for the princess hair spa package. Super friendly staff and customer service is awesome. The comfort provided during the treatments was evident when my daughter actually fell asleep – a testament to the coziness of the salon. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her treatment as well. It's worth noting that the prices are on the higher side, but the overall experience was undeniably positive.

I had the pleasure of working with The Shampoo Lounge for a highly complex event in Nusa Dua, Bali, catering to around 300 high-demand clientele. Their support was crucial, as we needed professional women's hair styling and men's barber services in three separate venues, all happening simultaneously over a four-hour period. I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with TSL's methodical preparation and their execution, which was nothing short of military precision. Each of the three TSL teams performed flawlessly, and the clients couldn't have been happier with the results. The event was an absolute success, and it was all thanks to The Shampoo Lounge Mobile Event team. I had an amazing experience at TSL. Soen is a master of his craft and did a fabulous job I recommend him to everyone. It was wonderful to have a full consultation and be able to discuss my hair goals, show photos and even choose the colours. Can see the before photo. The lady who did my nails was very nice but it was clear that she was not very skilled. I showed her what I wanted which was a two coloured french gel nail. She said she was going to try which she did but it did not turn out very great. The french is very uneven and the gel is not leveled well. You can see a lot of bumps. Also she flooded my cuticles on a view fingers and she had to file that away. I’d say there is way better places to get your nails done. I hope they improve on their nail knowledge because they were all very friendly. Just clearly not proper nail techs. I will fix them myself when I get back home. Price was good however cheaper than another place I went to in Bali. However they did do a much nicer job.

I had a manicure with Yuli and it was amazing! She was so artful and clean with her work. I like white nail polish and didn’t even have to ask her to do 3 coats (which is often needed for white) not ask her to keep the nail polish clean around my cuticles(which I so often have to ask other manicurists to do). Yuli is my Favorite manicurist in Bali and I HIGHLY recommend her :)

Update edit: The owner of the salon has reached out to me to express their sincerest apology and refunded my money. They were exceptionally professional with how they dealt with this situation. I'm very thankful for their follow-up and care in wanting to make this situation better for me. So I have changed my 3 star rating to a 5 star because of their thoughtfulness and professionalism. Thank you so much🙏 I asked for their mermaid haircut. I came in with hair down to my bra strap and left with hair just reaching my shoulders. I cried when I got back to my villa. Sadly, I think communication was lost in transit. On the other hand, my husband has enjoyed a couple of treatments for hair, shave & beard trim, and been happy.

Very clean and professional. Got a facial from Benny and it was amazing. He is very friendly and i got great results. Also got a hydration mask for my hair and it was really great. Not the cheapest place, but worth the extra cost.

This is absolutely best ! Dewi, she took care of me from head to toe like literally. Her attention to details is incredible ! Her massage skill makes me leave the salon floating. And normally when u are good in something another thing u are just alright. However, not with her, after massage she styled my hair make me look so pretty. I am so recommended the place and the lady. Definitely should visit. Far beyond my expectations!

Amazing Dora I had superb, excellent service by Dora! I took Argan deep conditioning treatment for my colored hair. After Dora apply the treatment on my hair, while waiting for it to work, she gave me an AMAZING/ AWESOME shoulder massage. Ive been to other expensive package massage but never have i felt as good as Dora. As for my hair treatment, it turned out to be great as well. Please request for Dora when u book your appointment. Shes awesome!

Amazing salon!! Came for keratin and a cut and I LOVE the result! Great price and excellent service. Rani, the stylist, looked after me so well, constantly checking in and making sure I was happy. Would definitely come back 😊

I can highly recommend Benny, he gave a very relaxing massage, followed by a pedicure- a really nice pamper session.

I have been in few places to get a manicure and pedicure, but I must say this is the best place by far to get it done. This time I had lovely Juni and Dora who did a great job.

I walked in during holiday, and managed to get the haircut I wanted with simple description/choosing from album. Reasonable price for the service!

I recently visited the Shampoo Lounge on my vacation in Seminyak. The salon is really busy but for a good reason. The staff are professional, friendly and they want you to enjoy your experience. I would especially recommend Win, one of the Spa Therapists. She gave me a manicure and pedicure. She was very thorough and paid attention to details which I really appreciated. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would go there again.
