We loved our stay at Maya Sanur! My husband and I were here for our honeymoon, and we loved the location of the hotel— we could walk to many different restaurants, shops, spas…etc! I felt very safe staying here as well. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable, even though there was a damp smell when we checked in and it was hard to get rid of it. But whenever we left the windows open the smell faded a little bit. The breakfast buffet was so delicious and worth it, we looked forward to their breakfast! Everyone is so nice and friendly. Overall we’d highly recommend this place!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Maya Sanur Resort & Spa during my trip to Bali, and it exceeded all my expectations! The customer service here is truly outstanding, some of the best I've ever experienced. The staff go above and beyond to ensure every guest feels welcomed and cared for. The rooms perfectly blend modern elegance with a delightful tropical vibe, creating a serene and comfortable atmosphere. I loved waking up to the soothing ambiance and beautiful views. The culinary experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The food at Maya Sanur Resort & Spa is not only delicious but also offers a diverse range of options to cater to various palates. Every meal was a delight, and the dining experience was consistently top-notch. Moreover, the resort's strategic location is a definite plus. It's conveniently situated near a plethora of stores and restaurants, making it easy to explore the local culture and indulge in some retail therapy. Overall, my stay at Maya Sanur Resort & Spa was an absolute pleasure, and I can't recommend it enough to anyone visiting Bali. It's a true gem that combines exceptional service, beautiful rooms, delectable cuisine, and a prime location. I can't wait to return!

Rooms are very nice and A/C works well if you keep the bathroom door closed. Location is perfect as you can step right outside the lobby and there's soo many local restaurants/bars, shops and basically anything right there without needing a Taxi. The staff is super nice and friendly and accommodating. There's a bar/restaurant part of the hote near the beach and tons of other boardwalk shops a few min walk down. Only thing that was weird is there was literally only like 8 channels to watch on the TV and they we all basically local channels mainly news. Other that that I'd definitely rather stay here that a major resort that you need a taxi just to leave the property!!!

The best hotel of our stay. The structure is modern, the rooms are very nicely placed and the only sounds we hear are the ones of birds chirping. the bathroom was big and clean, the rooms was nice and cozy, the beds were amazing and came with 4 soft pillows! (You can ask them to change it, they have a selection of them). Want your room cleaned up after the hour of room cleaning? Just click on a button and they'll come clean it. Don't want them to come? press on another button (do not disturb). The buttons are located outside and inside next to the door. Next, the pools were great, you can lay down on some type of sofas they have. Next of all, the restaurant! 50℅ happy hours and free Indonesian afternoon tea where you get to eat traditional snacks (along with tea and Popcorn). The restaurant's good is tasty and amazing! You can eat in your room and even order from the other restaurants (tree bar, kuu which is the Japanese restaurant of the hotel and another one.) Just click on a button on the phone and call who you want! in room dining, lobby, spa and room service. If you don't want to get the pack with the breakfast or dinner, not to worry! it's amazingly well placed and you can walk by the beach or go to the streets filled with nice restaurants and cafes. The price is totally worth it. Not to mention all the complementary stuff (Indonesian afternoon tea where you get to eat traditional snacks along with tea and Popcorn, yoga classes..) There are some extra activities that you have to pay for, but that are great as well! I totally recommend 100%, trust me you won't regret it :)

Amazing place and best hotel in Sanur. Too bad that we only have one night here, we would much love to stay here for few nights if we can. The staff are so nice, friendly, and very helpful. They even upgraded the room for free, and also the most important thing they put my requests on their note. Just perfect. The room is so unique especially the toilet , and also the bed room, balcony with nice view. No noisy from the main road, the temperature of the room just great, we didn’t even use the ac since we first got in cos it’s already cold 😂 Just one thing I noticed the noise from the toilet that they can’t automatically put off, the extractor fan is just too noisy for us. There is no way they can automatically off. Cos they said it’s all has to be manually off? Lol Anyway it was great, and also they probably forgot to not put the thick blanket in our bed. Or perhaps we just should ask them.

Great resort to stay in Bali - tranquil, energy saving/ climate friendly, spacious and clean rooms, and wonderful service staff! The reception staff are super friendly and helpful in our requests. They were able to recommend companies for snorkelling tours, and even assisted in booking it for us! I am sorry for not remembering the names of the staff who helped us. But I really do appreciate all the kind help from the counter staff! Keep up the great work!

Beautiful resort in a beautiful location. The amenities were fantastic (taking the hotel bikes along the beach path was a great way to explore the local area), the food was exceptional, the staff so helpful and friendly. I didn't use the fitness room as I was on a week off from training, but it looked great. The massage at the spa was heavenly. I stayed in a lagoon pool access suite and it was amazing. I will be going back there for sure.

We had an excellent 5 days at Maya Sanur. The architecture is very impressive and creates a great ambience together with the service and attention from the staff. We reserved two garden view rooms and found them to be very comfortable. Room service was excellent - very attentive to our water needs. The quality of the food both breakfast and restaurants was really tasty and excellent value for money. Enough choice to keep us happy for the 5 days. My wife and daughters enjoyed the yoga classes. We will definitely be back to Maya - the staff are amazing!

This is the best hotel I ever stayed. Extremely friendly personnel, delicious food, excellent service and amazingly beautiful architecture. Stayed with my hubby and two kids 6 days and we had wonderful time. Kids club is lovely, but it’s only open until 1 pm. Would be great to have it open longer. We miss all the kind aunties from the club. Outside the hotel you will find many eateries, cafes and shops, all were delicious and had amazing service. I’m glad our trip to Bali started from this hotel, as later on we moved to different locations and were not impressed with the surroundings.

The design of this hotel is incredible with lush hanging gardens and beautiful infinity pools.. Comfortable, clean, well presented accommodation with the friendliest staff who make you feel welcome and are pleasant to be around. Food is also very good.

What a beautiful resort in the heart of Sanur, the people here are so kind and friendly. The rooms are clean and well equipped and there are 3 on site restaurants, for us the buffet breakfast was a huge highlight. We had an issue with one of our spa treatments which was sorted out by the spa manager- really appreciated this great customer service and I'd still recommend trying out the spa. Would love to visit again or try out Maya Ubud.

Absolutely amazing place to stay, we were there for 8 days of relaxing by the pool drinking cocktails what more could you want?? The nest rooms (we were level 3) up high with a nice view, they overlook the pools below (see the attached video) The staff were all so friendly and helpful, honestly they really made the week so smoothly. The food at the breakfast buffet is highly recommended with a huge range, think of something and it'll be there. Tree bar dinners with a cocktail watching the ocean view sunsets are a must. We went to the Japanese place at the front of the resort, I wouldn't say it was disappointing but the meal vouchers for staying guests don't get much on the menu. Afternoon tea was an interesting mix of traditional foods with pop corn, candy floss with tea, coffee and juices. Vegetarian options are a tad limiting if you stay for longer you'll have to double up the meals. The spa and complementary massages WOW!!!!! Do it!!! If you stay here, spend the 5 mins walking up the beach to the turtle conservation centre. The security guards deserve a mention too, very welcoming and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Maya to anyone and it's on the list of places to stay again. Thank you Maya for a lovely stay.

We loved the Maya! It is centraly located in Sanur with immediate access to the boardwalk. Staff we fabulous & are a great asset & reflection on the hotel. They are very friendly, helpful & nothing is too much trouble. We had a lagoon access room. I thoroughly recommend the upgrade. Pool was perfect temperature and very well maintained. Spa treatments were fabulous. Again the staff were so very accommodating- definitely recommend. Breakfast was great- with huge choice of buffet food but also a cooked to order section. Specialist teas & coffee were also included in the breakfast tariff. Again- I recommend booking breakfast as part of your package.

Our inaugural stay in Sanur, Bali, exceeded expectations. Situated by the beach with cafes in close proximity, the hotel's location was superb. Initially booked for a pool access room, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to the Ocean View Pool Suite. The room, impeccably clean and beautifully adorned, featured a private pool with captivating views of both the pool area and the beach. The staff's friendliness and helpfulness, coupled with twice-daily housekeeping checks, ensured our needs were consistently met. Our time here was thoroughly enjoyable, and a return visit is certainly on the horizon

Wow, what a holiday! On the 1st night eating a beautiful meal overlooking the beach, we were pinching ourselves in this gorgeous hotel. And this continued for the whole holiday. The only reason for the 4 stars is that we had requested 2 single beds, but that had been overlooked and we ended up with a king bed. They did bring a fold up bed up to our room however it was quite uncomfortable and took up quite a bit of room. The entire staff without exception were the best we have encountered anywhere in the world. Unfortunately we can’t remember everyone by name, however we will never forget the bar manager Jacky who gave us his full attention on many occasions and we loved his company. The hotel should feel privileged to have him on their staff and should. Ever let him go. We do hope our paths my cross again one day.

Went for a facial and it was lovely. Yumi made sure I was comfortable and the pressure was not too hard. Everything about the spa was relaxing. I tried going to the pool afterwards to continue the good mood I received from the spa but the pool staff kicked me out. They stated that I needed a membership for the spa because the accessibility for the pool goes with the membership. I thought it was ridiculous and unfair. I paid for a massage/facial through the hotel so in my opinion it is quite similar to purchasing a membership. I understand the circumstances if I only wanted to use the pool, but I had already bought a service.

Such a great part of Bali, away from the maddening crowds. The rooms are huge and some overlook a beautiful pool. Also, the breakfast is wonderful, with a great variety of choices. I will stay here again. A lovely hotel with a terrific staff.

Amazing luxury hotel! All staff are amazing, so helpful and the room service is second to none. The room was always pristine, fresh glasses and water every morning and night. Breakfast delicious and the reception staff are really helpful. They do money exchange here at a fair rate, offer plenty of activities and have a delicious restaurant attached to the hotel. We had the heavenly ocean view with private pool, which was great other than the fact we couldn’t actually see the ocean but actually it gave us nice privacy which might have been better. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

A wonderful sanctuary! Amazing architecture. Lovely staff. Great food. Beautiful pool and view of the beach. Good gym. Magical spa. Great location, not too far from the airport and nice and quiet. Couldn't be more happy with our stay! Thank you!!

I had a good experience during stay here with my family. Room is clean & neat, I like the design of building hotel including parking space and green plantation surrounding. It has polite staff who always ready to serve nice food, and easy access to the beach for witness sunrise or swimming. Satisfied👍

excellent place for my honeymoon. calm and peace resort with such view around it. The breakfast also tasty, really impressed with their brownies and vanilla mustard. Their smoked fish was delicious, unfortunately only get a piece of em since i woke up a bit late. 10/10 will comeback ❤️

I had a wonderful experience at Maya Sanur Resort & Spa. Every staff member I encountered, from the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Beautiful architecture from the entrance, and it gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms and high quality service in all the restaurants and in the Spa. Thank you for this unforgettable stay. I'm sure I will come back soon.

Staying at wonderful garden view for 2 nites. Lil bit disappointed with the bathroom, there is no glass cover to separate shower room and toilet so the water spread everywhere and make it slippery. Bed was very comfort. Breakfast was very great and hotel staff is very nice. Keep up the good work.

My wife Booked a Romantic dinner for a suprise on my Birthday. The setting was amazing on the roof of the hotel overlooking the sea. It was a 5 course dinner. The service was excellent and the staff accommodating. We had a table with lite netting surround and two musicians playing during the meal. The food was wonderful and there were an array of sweets to cap it all off. It is a special thing to do and was a wonderful experience, well worth doing if only once when you visit Bali.

Great experience and services staying here. We can order food from outside and even sometimes the staff offers to drop to our rooms. It's also cool behind of the hotel we can walk through the side of beach and we can borrow bicycle (free) from the hotel as well to cycle around. Unfortunately gym closed quite early around 6pm. There is a restaurant/bar at the back of the hotel for us to chill out as well with beach view.

One of the best resort I have visited till now. The receptionists were really helpful and friendly. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. The location of our room was absolutely perfect. At the end of resort, we can access beach. Evening music near bar was fantastic. It felt like a private beach, very clean and clear water, a very good place to relax and chill. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The view of the sunset from that point was mesmerizing. We enjoyed couple spa. Daily kids activities by kid club were fantastic. My family has enjoyed a lot. Thank you Maya Sanur Team.

Just spent a week here and after several hotels in Bali I think the Maya had the nicest pool and beach front I've experienced. The main design of hotel is nice too and the main restaurant is located so that you can see the beach and sea which is lovely. Breakfast is also great with a good choice of Indonesian and Western food and the COVID protocol of the staff and their attentiveness was also 5*. Recommended.

Staff could not do enough for our 21 day stay. Rooms were perfect nothing to be done. Turn down each night with beautiful frangipanis scattered on our bed saying "see you soon" on our last night. Food and service could not fault, the yellow team in the dining and bar area went above and beyond. Coffee every morning in tree Bar with nice breeze over looking the water. Totally recommend this hotel will definitely return.

Sanur is a great spot. 30 min from the airport, plenty to keep you occupied, but much calmer and quieter than the main tourist areas. The staff at Maya were brilliant, definitely recommend this resort... We'd definitely stay again. Food was great, happy hour cocktails around $5-6 Australian each - can't go wrong. Very happy with Maya Sanur.

Stayed there for 1 week. It was a nice hotel with decent amenities. Staff were also friendly. Upon arriving, everyone received complementary drinks. Daily buffet breakfast was yummy, but after 7 days of eating the same items it was a little stale. Being able to eat brekky facing the beach was amazing. Rooms were very clean and bed was comfortable including the extra bed they added to the room. View was great! The amount of seating during breakfast was limited. we regularly had to be seated at the tree bar before moving into main area. There were also ants in the rooms...so avoid leaving food and crumbs in your room!

Beautiful place to stay in Sanur. On the main strip but a little off the busy bar scene so it’s nice and peaceful and chill vibe. Great beach location, great pool area, and the complimentary tea time at the Tree Bar is a vibe. The hotel itself and our room has pristine conditions, beautifully designed, and the staff are beyond helpful. I want to give a special shout out to one of the staff members Saras, who was super kind and helped me immensely dealing with some passport issues. She helped me get in contact with the Canadian Embassy in Jakarta, and helped me with pretty much anything I needed while dealing with what could have been a much more stressful process if it was not for her help. She is a wonderfully generous and kind hearted person and an amazing reflection of the staff as a whole at the Maya Sanur Resort & Spa.

A very modern and comfortable hotel in a good location. Rooms are very nicely designed and decorated. Staffs were very friendly and helpful on our visit. Location is great. It has two entrances/exits. One is at Jalan Danau Tamblingan, where there are many restaurants, cafes, massage spas, laundries and shops. The other is at the beachfront, with very easy access to the beach. We had a great time staying there and will probably stay there again next time we're in Sanur.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon back in September. It was absolutely perfect in every way. The staff were so attentive and lovely. The food was fantastic. Our room was always spotless with water replenished every morning and evening. We will definitely go back.

This was the most gorgeous hotel and experience I have had anywhere in the world. The design of this hotel is incredible with lush hanging gardens and beautiful infinity pools. The service was top notch. Every single employee made our stay perfect. The food, the afternoon tea, everything was incredible. We considered cancelling our next destination to stay! But instead we will simply have to come back again!
