Best hostel i’ve ever been to by far. Can’t think of anything negative. You truly get treated like family by staff and other travelers, the private rooms are cute, drinks are nice, and so are the breakfast options. This place is the closest thing i’ve got to a home these days. Thanks for having me as always🙏.

For the first time i stayed there for a night, in a big room only fan but the room so cozy. Everyone was so nice, though we met only that day before I left but made me feels like home. I had great time, we could cooks together at the staff kitchen. Great staffs, Unforgottable Moment, thank you for the hospitality. I will be back for make more memories there.

They treat you like the good kind of family does. It's just a friendly feel good atmosphere. For me an exceptional experience and I think it will be for you aswell, if it is the right hostel for you. Please check if you like the following: They are a hostel (with private room options) So please don't expect it to be like an all inclusive Hotel. That means the rooms are not luxurious. However they are clean (compared to Bali Hotels easily, but maybe not german hotel standard) There are house animals like dogs and cats around (all friendly) They have music every second night at the bar until after midnight. (Depending on the room you might hear it) That however is because: - Lots of backpacker - Really cheap alcohol - Friendly people - The atmosphere is good - Live music The free dinner is really tasty and traditional, but there is no big selection (always vegetarian tough) Eat it if you like the bali foodstyle, but if not, there are cheap restaurants around. So probably no problem. If you want something for breakfast, you have to order it individually (for an affordable price) Also the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and not touristic To sum it up, and explain why I personally love the place --> They are the cheapest option around. Additional services, food, drinks (alcohol) and bookings are also cheap. It is ideal for backpacking, and digital Nomads (Wifi is normally good, sometimes a bit slow (lowest for me 5mbps) if everybody is using it at the same time). They offer a lot like a beautiful pool, bar (and all day breakfast), anti social area (if you want time for yourself/yoga...), some basic weights for a workout, strong AC in the rooms, free dinner, tips for your trip and also the staff is genuine interested to just chat with you if you like to. Also very helpful in general (our laptop got wet after a severe rain storm. They brought us a whole big bag of rice to put it in and dry it immediately) Thank you for the stay

Best party hostel in kuta. This hostel is near the airport. The staff is very helpful and supportive, they sing at night, and dinner is tasty. You will enjoy and make new friends in this hostel. - Prabh

This review is by no means of ill intentions but just sharing from my own personal experience since I still paid in full for the stay and not offered anything to make up for my experience. It's just that I personally would have wanted someone to have told me this before I booked which I think it's fair for me to share my honest opinion. This was the first time in my life that I couldn't not last through the night. I left the hostel at 1am for reasons of being bitten by numerous mosquitos EVEN after killing a dozen, the buzzing around my ears wouldn't stop. The mosquito net had holes in it which really didn't do the job. The wifi there was horrendous. There was no AC. People had belongings EVERYWHERE, from hanging to doors to filthy floors. If all these things check off to not bother you, then I would go ahead and book because the staff are amazing there, supper is provided, great vibe because there are really people immune to all those negatives, just not me unfortunately for 2hr of rest.

Seriously STAY HERE no matter what your vibe is. Can be so easy to chill by the pool and have a low key time chatting with the staff but also the FREE DINNER every night makes it super easy to socialize and find people to go out with. The staff are so friendly and make you feel part of the family as well as being super talented (have their own little band). Rooms are super clean and the pool is amazing. They also have a super good value bar and restaurant

Really chill hostel, with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. Every now and then they perform live music, which was extremely good! Dinner is included as well, that improves the experience since you meet other people as well! The dorm bed I slept in wasn't that great though, and I got molested by mosquitoes... However that didn't ruin my experience here, and it is definitely worth it to stay here!

Cheap price doesn't mean have a poor quality!!! Very friendly ambiance. Every night dinner will be served. They have a pool, long table for dinner or any other communal activities.. They also have dogs to cheers us up

The vibe at this hostel is fun. The staff is super chill and easy going. When we stayed we had late night jams and dinner all together. Its easy to rent a bike and go explore the town. I would definitely go back the only downside is that there is no AC in the shared rooms so in the middle of their summer its very hot on the top bunks because there is no fan.

This is the best Hostel in Bali by far! We came back here over 10 times because it's to nice. Every night there is live music and a very nice atmosphere. They also have the best Nasi goreng of the island, and we tried a lot of them... People stay here more than a month and we totally get that. If you come here you should do the same. If you like fish and you stay at this hostel, go with the owner to the fishmarket and you will have the best experience of your trip. We did this 4 times and have zero regrets. The only best place in Kuta for staying with the family vibe, and chill in the day, with hostel life and easy-to-get-to-know people from every background! Party? They have live music! They don't stop if u not start to jump and get drunk on their music! 🎉🍻🔥 Just don't miss it!

What a fantastic place with such fantastic HOSTS. Nobody is a staff member here. They take pride in being hosts and making you smile and laugh all the time. Jessie, Bimo, billy. And of course, the main man Yoga. You guys imprinted on our hearts and we’ll remember you guys a long time. Keep up the good work and trust that we will always recommend this place to people.

I traveled many places but never ever visit such a Beautiful place lot of facilities like any hotel.. Best of Best hostel.. Best food for free n lot more we have which is very helpful for budget travelers.. Moreover I like the other tourism services they provide which is very reasonable n best from outside prices.. Highly recommend!! After 6 months of traveling, I thought it couldn't get any better. Then I stayed at Da' Housetel... Honestly one of the most memorable places I've ever been, the staff were lovely and the best part is they cook a delicious meal for everybody every single night, free of charge!

Nicely social hostel, some staff were absolutely fantastic kind and lovely, some others gave bad vibes, and others wouldn't bother want to work and show guests around the hostel facilities (lockers and etc), some staff lacked basic hospitality professionalism and manners. No clear rules for when music stops. My room was in a horrendous condition, uncomfy mattresses, very poor lighting, and unfinished construction. Toilets were dirty. The area can become unsafe late at night with pickpocketrs, please be aware. I have heard few incidents of phone theft by motorbike pickpocketers Really sad as I enjoyed staying in the place with the social atmosphere in spite of the lack of good management, I stayed in this hostel before but it was under other management and was much better than than this although it was basic, but cleaner and better staffed

For international and local backbackers, this place is amazing! The young guys from Salatiga who run this hostel really know what young people appreciate. I just booked again for the end of May. NOTE: Book early if you want to get in.

100% Bule backpacker accommodation. You have the lot, everything an international backpacker would evaluate as high priority. I wanted to stay the night, but sadly this hostel was fully-booked at 60 overnighters' capacity. Try the all-day mie goreng with a bottle or two of Bintang together with travellers from all over the world. Must book to overnight here.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in kuta. The people are super friendly and nice. Location is close 5-10 mins walk from the main road.

Best hotel I've ever visited, the owner is very humble and good at making the atmosphere more fun, entertaining and the staff is willing to help provide information about Bali tours. One of the best places you can ever go to! As a solo traveller I was anxious but the people are so friendly and the place is full of love, peace and happiness! There are 2 friendly dogs, people all around the world, musicians all over the place, etc. I am in love with Bali just because of the people in Da housetel and the atmospher!!!!

Amazing place to stay in Kuta. Close to the beach and the center but in a quiet area. Nice wooden room and a beautiful garden and lounge. The best part is the staff and the atmosphere. Very helpful and kind. I felt like part of the family since I arrived. At night, they cook dinner for everyone. Then, staff and guests sing, drink and share experiences. Delicious fresh local food cooked on site too. Definitely, I'd go again to the best hostel in Bali.

I originally stayed her by chance in August 2017, as it was close to the airport and super cheap. I ended returning four times over my 6 months travelling around Asia - the last time for 9 straight weeks! As soon as you walk through the front doors, you feel like family. You're welcomed by everybody, introduced to staff and guests and offered a drink. The dorms are spacey and the beds are comfortable. Mosquitos will always be a problem in a place like Bali - especially as the hostel has it's own garden and pool. They do everything they can to get rid of them (FOGGING!) but other than that, get yourself some local bug spray! The guys all love to play music and they're damn good at it too. Early sleepers, bring ear plugs if you'd rather not get involved. I could bang on about this place for pages and pages - just go stay there and meet your second family!

This hostel is amazing. The ambiance is perfect and the hostel does a great job in bringing all the guests together. Every night you can hang out in the garden or at the hostels bar and someone will play some guitar or so. I definitely had a great time. The only downside is that it's kinda far from the beach, but they drive a van to the beach whenever you want everyday.

Can't say enough about my wonderful stay here, the staffs were amazing ! They treat the guests jst like a family, you can feel the atmosphere even on yr arrival. Love to have the dinner time with other guests and staffs, especially coz its free ! lol ! here you can have more references about everything from your new friends while having your meal ;) Life music after the dinner...so lovely and entertaining ! Never waste your time for being lonely outside, come and join ! Yoga the owner really knows how to maintaining the vibes , he's the best guitar player as well on that band. I would recommend Yoga & Da Housetel to anyone renting out rooms! Yoga is one gem and heart of this place. The team also very hands on, considerate, sociable, helpful and crazy! Great hostel to stay if you want a welcoming atmosphere. The owner and the rest of the staff treat you like a family. The dining together is really nice, you immediately get to know each other. And the band who play there often are just amazing. Had a great time there
