I recently stayed at Legian Paradiso Hotel, and my overall experience was a mix of highs and lows. The room quality left something to be desired, falling into the "average" category. While it was comfortable, it lacked the modern touch and freshness I expected. The service was also on par with the room, being classified as "average." While the staff was friendly, there were moments where attention to detail and promptness could have been improved. On a positive note, the environment of the hotel was quite pleasant, earning a "good" rating. The surroundings provided a relaxed atmosphere, contributing to a peaceful stay. When it comes to dining, the food at Legian Paradiso Hotel was a highlight, earning a "good" rating. The variety and taste of the meals offered exceeded my expectations. One notable advantage is the hotel's convenient location, as it is within walking distance to local shops. This proved to be a significant plus for exploring the area without the need for transportation. However, it's worth mentioning that the hotel shows signs of aging with no recent renovations. This aspect might affect the overall appeal for those seeking a more contemporary stay. In conclusion, Legian Paradiso Hotel offers a mixed experience. If you prioritize a great location and good food over modern accommodations, it could be a suitable choice. However, for those seeking a more updated and polished stay, it might be worth exploring other options.

The grounds of the hotel are gorgeous with fish ponds, water features & an amazing pool with a bar inside! The hotel amenities had minor flaws but the most disappointing was the room & negligence particularly from food staff. The receptionist kindly upgraded our room with no extra charge but I would have liked to know how lesser room looked as the upgrade was very basic. There was no room phone and no towels provided. The room just wasn't up to standard for what we were paying. The breakfast was atrocious! Breakfast service ended at 11Am and we came at 10:20Am. There was no food, just papaya & watermelon which were crawling with ants. There were a few slices of bread but condiments were also filled with ants. We immediately requested an early checkout & refund as we has booked to stay another 3 nights. Understaffing was not an issue, and the reception staff were kind & understanding. I understand that they can't implement the maintenance that this property sorely needs but the owners need to get involved and help this place as it has so much potential!

Love this place. Some times the toilet doesn't work and you ask reception to get maintenance in (always have it fixed within a day in my experience) sometimes the aircon doesn't work I've asked to move rooms and no problems...for a cheap place in legian close to everything I would come back here..the bloody sweat restraunt is more expensive than it used to be(feb 2023 last visit). Pool was clean. Staff helpful a d friendly..extra pillows on request.

Very well located in the center of Legian. The rooms are big, comfortable and clean, however you can notice it wasn't recently renovated. The hotel has a cute open air lobby, some fountains and the path to the rooms is done through an inner courtyard. The pool is located far away from the traffic in a way that noise is not heard and is a relaxing environment. I would come back again ๐Ÿ˜„

I changed the room from the balcony to the room near the pool, the room is very dirty and smells musty, I understand that the hotel is old, but it has to be clean, towels, staff took to make foot towels, which I sat and watched the staff Do that in my room, blankets, bed linens are not clean, the room smells musty, old and very dirty. It's the first visit that is not very impressed. I think most hotels are like this. There is no difference. So happy, the toilet was so bad that I had to fix the orange room by myself, and a lot of mosquitoes in the bathroom, the staff came to clean, but the pee smelled throughout the four days of staying, the smell of sewage from the bathroom was very foul.

The food was good and location was great. The outside is cool. Also live music on Friday was really cool. However The room sucked and was dirty. The sheets were dirty. Super old and moldy. I switched rooms upon arrival and was shown three different rooms that were equally bad. I asked for new sheets as I checked in during the evening but was told no one was there to change sheets until 8am morning when staff was there. I wanted to leave but it was dark out and I didnโ€™t want to be search for new room. I took a video and showed front desk main attendant when he arrived Ned T day and he just asked if I got clean sheets by now and I said yes but I couldnโ€™t sleep in bed because sheets from the night were dirty. Room had bad smell and geico/bugs. I was completely creeped out. Also there are no phones in room.

This is my go to hotel. I love the location with Angelina spa right out the front. Beach 5 minute Walk and lovely guys out the front ready to take you on the bike wherever you need to go. The rooms are basic but clean. Staff are lovely and pool is good. They are doing there best to get things up and running again. I stayed in may and also just returned from another stay and will be back in October. The only annoying thing was the shower. Itโ€™s over the bath and water seems to run everywhere. But I just asked for a couple of extra towels and it was no trouble. Also if you leave a $2 tip each morning on your bed you will come back to a cute towel animal. Canโ€™t wait to be back

Lovely place with rooms away from the busy roads, a glorious pool and swim up bar. Kind and friendly staff that will go next level for you. Located centrally in Legian it's close to everything. Absolutely recommend staying here.

That's the room you will get if you select for 'superior room' with full with mosquitoes... try stay in The Grand Bakas Jungle Retreat Villa with private pool...highly recommended. I was staying there for 4days.

Beautiful and clean old hotel. Everything is well maintained. Nice welcome drink. Front officers and housekeeping staff are nice. A very safe place. So tranquil for its location where night party clubs, restaurants, and pubs are open until late night.

Hotel is a little old looking. It definitely has the traditional Bali vibe. I stayed 17 nights and there was only one day that I could get a pool towel, as they were never ready. Swim up bar was ok but they need to limit some kind of age limit as there were 2 many "bravo" young men

The room we booked is deluxe pool view but not really a pool view just a side of the pool but it's okay as long as quite during the night after a long day exploring the beauty of Bali. The only problem I noticed is that we got a toilet that is broken but hubby is a handyman so he fixed it himself but the shower it needs some fixing in order to make the water run into the shower and not on the faucet for the tub, the knob to pull up for shower is really hard that it needs strong person to do it. We love the buffet breakfast with all different options to choose before heading out. Great staff for front desk and cleaning, in fact cleaning staff show us their artistic side everyday, making towel art surprised for us. I just encountered a snubby lady kitchen staff that don't have customer skills due to preferred customer according to skin colour. Restaurant menu are okay, on site money changer, tour, and massage place. Bunos, nice pool ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Good location, lots of things to visit all around. The pool was relatively clean, and the rooms were nice and spacious, albeit slightly dated. The rooms were affordable, and the breakfast wasn't bad, with the sweet and sour fish, scrambled eggs and fried rice standing out. The showers in the room were quite hard to use though. The drainage for our room was slow, meaning you would stand in a puddle of your own dirty bathwater while you showered, and the pressure was so high it'd splash onto the wall behind me if you put it up. The gym was the main reason we booked this hotel, but the equipment was quite rusty, and some of the cable machines were in poor quality. Barbell and dumbbell weights went up reasonably high. The gym had a slightly stale smell because of its poor ventilation, but the showers were way cleaner and easier to use than the ones in our own room. Overall, it has its flaws, but at its price point, its about what you would expect and a nice breath of fresh air. Wifi was bad though.

Great Location, I had a Room right down the back of the Property and it was very quiet. Breakfast Is absolutely Nothing to write home about, But the deal I got breakfast was included. You get vouchers for breakfast for each day, However had breakfast 2 times in the 9 days I stayed. The guys that were cooking the eggs (scrambled) need to be told to clean the pan every time after cooking as I had black bits in my Eggs from previous a Cook.

Great location, everything you may need is close by. Rooms are a bit dated but they still are ok. Had a drama with the toilet but that was fixed very quickly. Used the pool a couple of times and unfortunately like a lot of pools in Bali, it was a bit too warm for my liking. Was lucky enough to use their spa. Very good! Had a great massage, skin treatment and shower there and was very pleased. Indria did a wonderful job! I will certainly stay here again sometime next year!

Love this place. Solo travler from Australia ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ I felt safe, all the staff were exceptional. The rooms are clean, cool and the shower is great. I especially love the man that comes to the room each day and creates a little creature out of towels. Each day he makes me laugh. Not to mention the beautiful ladies that provide the best massage and beauty treatments. They are friendly, kind and always willing to help. The security is awsome and location is 100% perfect. I was booked in for 10 days, and then decided to stay the entire month. The food is fabulous ๐Ÿ‘Œ. I work in hospitality and I highly recommend this place. Met some super cool people here and will defiantly come back. Thanks to all the staff for being so good to me. X

Pros: -pool -staff -location Cons: -rooms needs to be renovated ASAP -cleanliness (bedsheets and towels was stained) -amenities -breakfast options are weak Summary: if you donโ€™t need luxury this hotel is okay for a couple of nights.

Part of the staff is really nice, however, I stayed 10 days, the toilet had stained from the day I got in until the day I got out: (it has never been cleaned). Letโ€™s no talk about the smell from the day 1. On my last day I had to ask the receptionist for toilet paper as the day before they did not gave me any. Anyway, although Iโ€™ve asked for it I didnโ€™t get any ๐Ÿคฃ. I wonโ€™t come back!

Before you book it... Please note that this is particularly in middle of a red light area... We did book a basic room and it was not good with mouse noises continuously at night. While there was not much trouble from neighbourhood but you will see a lot of shady guys aroud when you walk outside hotel... We ensured to come before 10 everyday as we were not feeling much safe and many time i saw escort service being called in the rooms

Great hotel. Don't expect 5 star when paying for 3 star. With that in mind the hotel is great value. Friendly staff that do your rooms and bar and restaurant staff are also terrific. Some reception staff are great. Great pool and swim up bar, gyms good except at the current time it has a big hole in the ceiling and dust which makes you wonder if it is asbestos. The only reason I decided to stay out after a few days of use. I really hope its gyprock. Not worth taking the chance. I hope it's fixed soon. There seems to be a lot of upgrades and renos occurring currently so I would bet it will be terrific again soon. Great location. Well definitely be back.

The hotel is quite economic, located in Legian street with many bar and resto along with souvenir store. The reception is quite friendly. Most of the guests were foreigners but quite friendly and polite. If you're backpacking and try to reach the hotel by bus, the nearest terminal is kuta parking which is around 15-20 minute walking distance. The hotel is quite nice but old. The cleanliness of the room is a bit lacking, and most of the balcony lamp is out.

Rooms were definitely hit by Covid. A little run down. Food was okay from the pool bar. However the staff are very friendly and working hard to get the place back and running like it used to. Itโ€™s a great location, right on legian street by all the bars and restaurants! Shout out to Republic 88 across the road for great coffee and food

Nice rooms, great pool, beautiful gardens and ponds. The staff are just beautiful people! Especially after the complete loss of income due to covid and the complete lack of customers. Recommended!

I love this hotel the location is perfect the service is amazing the staff are awesome the pool is great. But unfortunatley it needs a bit of an upgrade it saddens me to see it run down like that. I have stayed here more than 10 times in the past but just could'nt do it this trip. As for value for money yes it is cheap.
