I would appreciate a refund after double charging our stay in this hotel a month ago. I don't know if this was a mistake or a bad practice. We were charged first through booking com and then by the hotel again. Customer support neither at booking com nor hotel could return the funds. Please, be aware of hotel receptionists who dont match your booking details and create a new reservation on spot. I will remove this message after my case is resolved.

Loved the rooms and ambience, however no longer family friendly. 😞 A "hotel's person" told the kids in the pool not to make noise when they played, since some guests were having conference at the pool side. Even told them that they can't use the pool if they made noises.

We, a family of 4, had a beautiful ocean facing 2 bedroom suite. The service was top notch. We loved the location as we could choose between the quiet beach or the busy Eat Street at 2 minutes walking distance away. Highly recommended.

Perfect villa for a relaxing stay. Despite being located on the main road of canggu, it feels very private once we entered the villa's vicinity. The villa itself is very well maintained, and does a great job in keeping the insects/pests away, despite being surrounded by nature.

Fantastic location. Walk anywhere. Pools are amazing... perfect for sunsets. Noticed that there were a large amount of noisy young children around everywhere, which made reading a book by the pool pretty much impossible. Breakfast exceptional. Staff are 6 stars. Rooms are very spacious.

Staff treated me and my husband awful. We're told the ocean bar was open to public when we reached out before coming. Then we when arrived staff were almost disgusted that we were there but not staying guests. On our way in, were talking about how beautiful it is and how we wanting to say there, but after being treated like dirt I'd rather stay anywhere else! Awful!

We stayed in a villa which was an absolute haven from the craziness of surrounding Seminyak. The villa was the most incredible room with everything you could possibly need from a private pool, outdoor bathtub to a spacious room. The little touches like the daily laundry and afternoon tea and cocktails were fantastic too. We were really well looked after by Devi throughout our stay who went above and beyond.

This resort is regal, tranquil and serene. The service is second to none and the infinity pool is stunning. No bogans hardly and kids - perfect for an adult holiday. Had massage at the spa which was also a wonderful experience.

Legian Seminyak is our best and prominent recent experience. The hospitality is top-notch. The hotel's location is just absolutely perfect. My personal big love is the swimming pool that face the ocean. And those sunsets we enjoyed every night will be a dream for a long time to come, just breathtaking... The food is great. I would like to single out incredibly fresh and delicately cooked BBQ seafood, we enjoyed traditional Indonesian dishes a lot. Also, we would love to say a big thank you to a special person who accompanied us all the period we stay in Legian Seminyak. His name is Astika and his is so caring, super friendly and just an amazing person. He is one of the reason Legian Seminyak was remembered by us for many days. We will definitely come back. Warm Regards, Marina and Gordon from the GTheNomad Team

I had an incredible experience at this hotel!! From the moment I arrived, their service was exceptional. However, what truly stood out was how they cared for me when I fell ill during my stay. They provided complimentary drinks and food and even sent a nurse to check on me. The manager personally gave me a thermometer. Their outstanding care, both before and after my illness, made me feel truly valued as a guest. I can't thank them enough for their exceptional service. Highly recommended!

The best hotel in Bali with the best service! Very attentive to every details. Everything is of great value, foods are amazing too. One other thing that is worth mentioning is the cute fact that now they have a kitty sanctuary in the premise, where they feed and help sterilise stray cats around the area. Love this initiative, it really shows how much they care about their place, their community and life around it—yet another reason why you will feel at home there. Hoping other places in Bali will be inspired to follow their step. Always a pleasure to stay there, will undoubtedly come back.

Beautiful hotel, well located and in walking distance to shopping areas. The rooms that we saw were nice and spacious. Their beach front was very clean and well kept, compared to other areas. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast menu can be a bit boring if you stay longer than 3 or 4 days. Restaurant menus are pretty good, just not a lot of Indonesian dishes to try, from what I remember. They have a nice little garden of local herbs and spices, near the gym area, to visit.

Stayed one night on 5th Dec 2022. The hotel opened in 1996 so it is an older property but it adds to the charm. We stayed in the ocean view suite and it was huge. Please note that while the ocean view is amazing, if you are a light sleeper it may not work as you will hear the waves from the room and they’re not quiet! Service is impeccable, the breakfast was indulgent and the pools (3-tiered pool) are amazing. Gym facilities satisfactory and the steam/jacuzzi facilities are in the basement and not that relaxing. Overall we had a lovely stay here and would recommend .

The place to stay in Seminyak! Right after the arrival you feel like home and welcome in a place so far away. The design of the lobby is kinda grant but still intimate. Checkin is quick and very organized! The welcome drink was delicious. For a big beachfront complex in the middle of Seminyak it still felt cozy enough. The pools and outdoor area are absolutely great and the staff does everything they can do make you feel good. The rooms are huge and well furnished. The bed is really comfy. Some stuff and furniture is a little outdated and need maintenance but still is nice to look at. The breakfast and overall food was fantastic! The sunset at this place is gorgeous. We enjoyed every single night and day here. Mahalo Phil L

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel in Legian Seminyak, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I knew I was in for a special experience. Service and Staff: The staff at this hotel are incredible. They greeted me with warm smiles and were attentive throughout my stay. They went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, from arranging transportation to providing excellent dining recommendations. Accommodation: My room was a spacious and comfortable haven. The bed was plush, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the room was impeccably clean. The modern amenities, including a flat-screen TV, a well-stocked minibar, and a luxurious bathroom, added to the overall comfort. Dining: The hotel's restaurant served delectable dishes that showcased both local and international flavors. I indulged in a traditional Balinese feast one evening and savored a sumptuous breakfast buffet daily. The quality of the food was consistently outstanding. Location: The hotel's location is perfect for exploring Legian Seminyak. It's a short walk from the beach, and the nearby streets are lined with shops, boutiques, and restaurants. It's a great base for exploring the vibrant nightlife of Seminyak or simply enjoying the sun and surf at Legian Beach. Amenities: The hotel offers a range of amenities, including a lovely swimming pool surrounded by lush greenery and a well-equipped fitness center. After a day of exploration, the pool area was a tranquil spot to unwind. Value for Money: Considering the level of service, the quality of accommodation, and the prime location, this hotel offers excellent value for money. I felt like I was staying in a luxury resort without the hefty price tag. In conclusion, my stay at this hotel in Legian Seminyak was nothing short of exceptional. Whether you're a solo traveler, a couple seeking a romantic getaway, or a family looking for comfort and convenience, I highly recommend this hotel. It offers a perfect blend of Balinese hospitality, modern comfort, and a prime location for an unforgettable Bali experience. I can't wait to return! Team GTHENomad Daria Moskalenko

Wonderful hotel in Bali! We only wish we could have stayed longer. It rained a lot so we didn't get to go on the beach, but the resort itself was very nice. I would definitely come back here if I ever find myself in Bali again! The location was also good because it is close to town with shops and stuff.

My husband and I travel to Bali several times a year and we always try to choose different hotels around the island. But this time The Legian Seminyak hits the jackpot. Classic and “senior” establishment that is well maintained in all corners. The staffs are super friendly and professional, from receptionist to pool keeper, from concierge to the waiters. Warm and very courteous. Location is perfect, pool and beach are amazing. Breakfast is great too. This hotel for us, is just the right size and ambience. I rarely write review but this one deserves all stars. In fact am writing while lounging in beach chair. We would return here in a heartbeat.

This place is an all time favourite in Seminyak. It’s very well maintained throughout. We arrived early and our suite was ready and looked spectacular, as always. They closed off one side of the property for maintenance and kept the other side and public areas fully operational, so that no one was disturbed at all by any of the ongoing work. The breakfast is a mix of smaller buffet stations plus a very extensive menu that could easily get you through the entire day. All staff at the property is the most professional, sincerely friendly and display so much pride working there. During rainy season the ocean on the Seminyak side is known to throw back stuff onto the beach, which was even more through some stormy days. The Legian had about 5 or 6 people continuously on their long stretch of beach front, to keep it immaculately clean during those days and made their property really stand out against their neighbors. On our day of departure, all rooms in operation were booked, so that we handed back our room keys after breakfast. With an early evening flight departure, we were using their pool and facilities throughout the day and were offered an hour in a hospitality lounge to shower, get changed and have a drink under the AC before heading back home. This made it a very comfortable late afternoon departure that made any late check out completely unnecessary. I always find it annoying, especially in a place where the staff makes sure there’s enough loungers and umbrellas for everyone, there’s still people that can’t seem to refrain from space hogging. Here there were inconsiderate couples that reserved for example the only operational Bale with 360 shade as early as 9am during breakfast with a shirt and some hotel slippers, yet didn’t care to return to it until lunch or just removed their stuff again after some hours when they changed their mind without even using for a second. In all that time someone else could have had the pleasure using it (for a change), but apparently exactly this prime space was extremely important to them. The Legian should maybe better instruct their teams to support guests that are leaving belongings behind for a longer time, to remove and store them on their behalf for safekeeping. Seminyak is a very popular and busy stretch of beach, with plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. Within that hustle and bustle The Legian really stands out by offering a place of incredible serenity at an extensive space facing a long stretch of beachfront.

Very nice and comfortable hotel, especially the swimming pool and the beach area, even-though cloudy but still enjoying the sunset vibes 👍

We got lost next to this hotel and asked to show us a way back since we didn’t have internet. Their guard didn’t even listened to us just told we were not allowed to be there. Thank! Very welcoming. Not recommend

Wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Legian. It is a 5 star property with an attention to service that exceeds that. Staff through management all takes time to get to know everyone's. Oh, and the location is unbeatable! Can't wait to go back

What a shame - but it appears that The Legian has been a casualty of Covid. After looking forward to finally returning - it was not what it once was at all. I do appreciate that the hotel industry was hit hard - and they are now playing catch us with standards. Things are just run down. It was so many things. The phone not working. The door not being able to close properly. Lights not working properly. The finishings and furnishings all a little stained and worn. The gym area a little dirty and scruffy. The furniture around the pool - needs a varnish and reupholster. And the quality of cocktails have massively declined. They added lime cordial in one of mine for sure. I love this place - and the staff are still so warm and friendly. But given the $1000 per night cost - it needs to pick up the standard.

I highly recommend the Wellness Spa. Experience, professionalism and kindness make the service perfect. The gym is clean and the machines are of a high level Technogym with amazing ocean view! I will come back for sure. Grazie!

The best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Service is 6 or 7 stars (out of 5!). Suites are luxurious - with Balinese designs all over. Staff are so attentive, food is divine. The pool and views are spectacular. Will cost again

BEST hospitality 🫶🏼 One staff offer the homemade jamu while afternoon tea knowing I had cough. Smile spreading everywhere. Direct access to Kuta Beach. Food is yum yummiest. If you look for Vibes, she’s here.

Impeccable service, convenient location and an understated elegance. This is the hotel we found ourselves most wanted to visit when the borders start opening up and we yearn for a short overseas trip to recharge. The hotel is about 30 mins away from the airport and in the prime location of Semiyak. It is a very short trip to all the restaurants and interesting shops in Semiyak. It is within walking distance but for the scorching sun. The hotel is beautiful and have an old world charm that is increasingly hard to come by. No fancy architecture or loud background music. All the rooms have full sea view and we love the sound of the soothing sea waves (if you open the windows slightly at night). The restaurant food is of a very high standard and the breakfast out of this world. Service is something that get mentioned in all the reviews for obvious reason. Everyone made an effort to address you in name. Alain, the hotel manager is always around and invariably will stop by to say hello and check on us. You can tell from the smiling eyes that they are happy to see the guests coming back after a long period of absence. Just hope we get to see their smiling face without the mask when we visit them again next time.

Absolutely the most incredible hotel. It’s flawless. The epitome of modern Balinese elegance in every detail. The staff are incredible … Artini made every breakfast a joy and went out of her way each day. Hendri runs the pool area with such attention … he is fabulous. Yes the hotel is serene & beautiful, the enormous suites heavenly but ALL the staff here are the jewel in the crown. Thank you for another magnificent stay at The Legian.

It was our most expensive and but least enjoyable stop on our trip around Bali. The hotel, staff and food is great. It was too loud - parties, weddings taking place every day something else which disturbed our relaxation. The beach is very full. I did enjoy shopping at the market. But will rather go back to rural places and stay in a villa rather than a hotel.
