This is a old hotel that needs renovation. Good points are location is in the middle of tourist area and walking distance to water park, restaurants, shopping centers and many little local shops selling everything from souvenirs to clothing, art, massage and beauty treatments, tattoos ant guided tours. Room had cold air conditioning that was working well, plenty hot water for the shower, clean room and comfy bedding. Bad points... Pool is old and falling apart, furniture also falling apart, breakfast was unaceptable on our second morning there was no toast or coffee, only available a couple local dishes or plain eggs / omlet and cold soft bacon. Terrible fruit selection ect. If booking a room I suggest not including breakfast as there are many fantastic restaurants with in a 10 minute walk. Overall I recommend this hotel for a quite and affordable stay in busy Kuta location.

Vintage hotel that keeps its standards of cleanliness and service quite high. Staffs are friendly and attentive, will always smile when they see you. Pool is great for families, with clear waters, all around 1,2 metres deep, with a 80 cms deep little "gulf" for kiddies to splash around with their parents. Plus they provide wide steps around the pool, so you don't have to directly plunge into the waters. Wifi connection was troublesome though, as even after entering the given usernames and passwords, they don't directly connect to the internet. Elevator was under repairs during our stay, so that was also a bit of a hassle, especially since it made my wife had to go up and down the stairs with her broken fibula. But kudos for the Management for their pest control, as not a single ant was seen in both our room, eventhough we had quite a "candylicious party". Lastly, perhaps Management can consider replacing the luggage cart, as the concierge and front desk team had to use a little trolley to get and deliver the guests luggages.

Great value for the money. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and the AC works extremely well. Extremely quiet facility, it seems COVID must have done a number to the place. Feels like you have the hotel to yourself. The poolside bar is closed, the spa is closed, most of the floors are closed, but the place is still kept clean. Beach access is a short walk, and when you walk off the property you will be bombarded with the usual peddlers and such. That won't change no matter which resort you choose in this area.

Room is old, bed quality not good, I can’t sleep all night. In the morning, breakfast included in price, but food is really bad, not to much meal, food so cold. I hope that hotel need to keep food warm until breakfast time ended. I have to go to toilet after my breakfast. So please take care food and room.

The worst place I stayed in Bali out of around 5 places I stayed. The hotel is understaffed, the reception guys keep hanging up your call in the middle of discussion stating they have customers to cater and there are less people on front desk. The hotel denies basic amenities and services which every place in Bali effortlessly does. Worst of all, we called the room service asking for vegetarian food. We were straight away told they Dont make vegetarian food. Extremely disappointing. Doesn’t deserve a 4-star rating at all. Avoid at all cost.

For the price SGD 46 per night I paid for the hotel, I would consider it a fair deal. The hotel is not new but it is quite well maintained. At the time of my check in on 24 August 2022, the receptionist told me only the ground floor and 1st floor rooms are opened for booking. So I asked for the room at higher level. I was given room 203, balcony facing pool and door facing a temple. Which suits me well. I would suggest to the hotel management to touch up the heavily water stained wall and clean the dark stain on the bath tub. And cahnge the safety box as I had problem getting the number combination right. Apart from the flaws that I pointed out, it was a comfortable 2 nights stay at the hotel.

Location is near Kuta party place but far enough that you will have peace and quiet at night. There's a convenience store and money changer in front. Breakfast variety is decent. We did try their room service and the food was great. The room is spacious and clean with a balcony facing the pool. Staff are professional and friendly. They helped us call for massage when their spa was fully booked.

We stayed here for 3 nights and best thing about this Hotel was it's location. It's right at the centre of Kuta road having Discovery Mall on side (at 100 m) and Indian restaurants on other. Airport was nearby (15 min drive). Besides, hospitality was added advantage. Room was clean, organized and ready when we checked in. We would have liked more switchboard slots in room to charge mobile devices. (only 1 was there in whole room). It would have been convenient if switch board provided on bedside is useful for universal ports. Room was exactly same as seen in Google/website images hence not posting images here again. Room service was prompt and so as toilet and it's accessories. Room had pool view and I regret we didn't opt for room with pool access with little bit extra money. Receptionist was nice humble and sweet. Breakfast was decent one and would have liked more variety in there. There were many empty vessels in buffet place, this might be due to low number of hotel guests (due to off season). Overall it was nice stay and would like to stay here again.

Not getting a window with a view is a bummer, even I have asked for it.. The hotel is empty by the way, so no reason not to give me a better room.

Nice hotel. Surrounded with several stores, restaurants, and bars. Just a couple of blocks away from the beach.

Pre-note. The boy on the desk from Java did his absolute best but had absolutely no authority to help or change my situation. He speaks perfect English and is so so lovely. HOWEVER...I told them three times at the desk that I was getting badly bitten in my room in the first 10 mins of checking in. They said they'd send someone up to spray my room. Being polite I didn't make a big deal about it.. went out for a while came back and same thing again. Immediately getting eaten so I called again. The night desk guy was on at this stage. Eventually I got tired waiting and thought I'd manage to sleep and hide under the covers. But no.. the little buggers continued. Rang reception several times overnight (I was in and out of sleep) and they said someone was on the way to spray my room... Never showed up. Woke up at 5am totally covered in welts including my eye which swelled closed. Went to reception (again).. told to wait until 9 for a manager to come... Who never came.. apparently having a day off. I travel allot in Asia and I understand there's bugs but this room was like a mosquito breeding area. Please be careful. They should have changed my room... Also. Breakfast 🀣🀣🀣🀣 jaysis what a lazy effort. I was there at 7am and everything was stone cold. The stuff must all be cooked the night before and aside from the omelettes its a Asian breakfast: which I enjoy but I prefer stuff cooked a bit fresh. Ok rant over.. best thing about staying here is a little warung across the road down a dirty little lane.... BEST chicken and lalapan ever ever. Super friendly family

Not the hotel we originally booked, general manager closed White Rose 2 days before we left UK. Breakfast VERY poor,no butter 1day, limited amount of rice/noodles so if you were up late there was nothing left. Crisps for breakfast? No thanks. Large amount of missing and loose tiles in the pool,we swam wearing socks to avoid cuts, debris and dirt in multiple areas both in and around the pool and hotel. Asked for pool towels and told there were none but they miraculous appeared for a photo shoot and we were asked to leave the pool area for 5 minutes which turned into 2 hours. Staff polite but training several lacking. Rooms and bathrooms very neglected. Ok for 1 night only.

Service extra ordinary from reception called Mr. Yoga with prompt response and quick solving problem happened in the room, he assist us to move to other room with an upgrade to swimming pool access directly. Mr. Agus, Mr. Alit and FO team was very helpful during our stay. Rooms was spacious and ambience is perfect to spend ur holiday especially with ur family with large swimming pool, walking distance only to the mall and beach, lots of shops nearby as well cafe or restaurant. Perfect location near to the airport. The only thing is food still not having lots of choice for breakfast pasca covid-19, hope they will be more attentive to the food variety. Keep it up and do excellent service as always!

While it appears an older hotel that could do with some love in places, the rooms are very clean and met our needs budget wise. The bed was also very comfy which is more important to me than a building itself. The staff are wonderful and nothing is too much. I would stay there again - clean, comfy bed, friendly staff!
