I went in after a few friends had been there... i am surprised i have any hair left with how tight she was pulling as she was drying my hair. My hair is now so dry. My partner also got a hair cut there. I have honestly had better blow dry /cut at some of the street places

It’s like a hidden bar down a laneway in Melbourne. Amazing cocktails. Brilliant service. Beautiful room and interior design and the most devoted staff. Find this hidden gem in Seminyak before everyone else does.

Quite expensive for Bali but go for the experience. Having some cocktails while you get your hair done is pretty great. Been here twice in the last year. Latest time the music was way too loud, then the bar staff having a fabulous time (banging the bar as part of dance moves then trying to sing louder than the already loud music) was quite distracting whilst trying to enjoy a massage. Yet not attentive to check if more drinks was wanted. Not so relaxing. Was very quiet but that shouldn't mean customer services slip.

Nice people, the atmosphere is nice and the shop looks nice but not worth the money. Asked for the wash, blow dry, and the big beach waves and got really tight curls that weren’t amazing and the blow dry was literally just blow drying my hair with their fingers, not a proper blow dry. Hair started dropping straight away. 3 hours later my hair didn’t even drop into loose curls, it’s just went flat. Was excited and really wanted to love this place.

The concept is good however, mind the hidden costs. Came in to get a set of acrylic nails at 550,000IDR, go to pay only to find out that the price had dramatically increased to 990,000IDR! Be very very careful, won’t be coming back

My girlfriend and I booked a 6pm appointment. I wanted to come here mainly for a haircut. My girlfriend wanted to get her hair braided and her legs waxed. As soon as we arrived at our scheduled appointment, they called my girlfriend to start on her wax. I waited patiently at the bar. Fifteen minutes passed and the receptionist told me it would take another 15 minutes since the barber there was still working on his client. I was fine with that since I was drinking a beer at the bar. An hour has since passed and my girlfriend was already done with her wax and got her hair braided. The receptionist then told me that the barber forgot his scissors and cannot cut my hair today and I would have to return tomorrow. I was so disappointed since I’ve been waiting patiently. They should have known not to book me if they could not have cut my hair today, instead made me wait an hour to leave empty handed. I rarely give low ratings, but I was so dissatisfied. I gave two stars since my girlfriend had a better experience. I think Blowbar is more tailored to females since they had more female clients. I went to HEADMOST barbershop after and had the best experience ever at half the price they were charging at Blowbar. So if you’re a male, I recommend heading to HEADMOST.

Very expensive. Paid $80 Aud for a hair treatment, wash and beach curl style with hair tongs. Hair was nice but not a fan of being made to wear a full body sarong and sit in front on men serving at a bar.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE HAIR EXTENSIONS. I told the person when booking my appointment for a wash and blow dry that i had extensions, and she said it was fine. When I came in for my appointment, I once again said that I had extensions and they said it was fine. They ended up ripping out 12 pieces of tape extensions that had only been applied 1 week prior, and proceeded to charge me for their “service”. The absolute worst salon i’ve ever been to.

I want to love this place, but the hidden (don't get me wrong, fine print is very finely written on the bottom of the menu) costs blew me (away). I spend a lot of time treating my hair to keep it healthy, but it was fried the minute the hairdryer went near me - I moved away quite a few times because the heat was too intense. Word of mouth in my circles told me it was great, but as much as I want to return I won't be. Curls be curls, but they should soften and drop, not feel like a helmet.

Best mojito I've ever had! We stopped in to keep our friend company while she got her hair done and we came back almost everyday for mojitos. Bartenders are fantastic, wish we could have brought them home with us.

BE AWARE LADIES WANTING NAILS DONE HERE Had acrylic nails done here, price list states a full set sns colour for 55 dollars happy with the job, went to pay and got slapped with a bill of 95 because of a clear coat on top. When i questioned the manager about the price stated on the price list, i told her that they need to let people know before doing the job that you have to pay an extra 22 dollars for polish (clear) to be applied then the service tax then another tax on top, she said she would adjust the prices on the price list- i bet they wont!!! Very angry to say the least, no set of nails are worth nearly 100 dollars!!!!

Went in for a ‘classic’ blow dry and ended up having the ends of my hair burnt so badly i’ve had to cut over 5cm off. Absolutely horrified and annoyed that this has happened. I know others that have gone in and had a decent experience but with the state my hair was left in I wouldn’t even risk going in if I were you.

Came in with my partner and wanted to get my facial hair shaved to which I was told I’ll be next. Then after waiting 45 minutes they simply came to me and said he didn’t have time now. Terrible customer service.

I’ve been to the Blow Bar the 1st time on Christmas and Adit did my make up & my hairstyling. So first of all - the atmosphere and the concept with the bar is AMAZING. I really like the interior and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. Special thanks goes to Adit - he is great in his job and made me feel like a queen when he was finished with everything. I directly booked a styling for NYE again with Adit and the price is more than fair for the work and time they are all putting into the services. Great 1 hour experience here, very tasty cocktails to enjoy while you get pampered. My sister & I both had hair treatments. I had the Purifying treatment which was great to cleanse my scalp and my sister had the Energising treatment which was better for her thinning hair. They started with a quick hair assessment then mixed up a treatment which they applied with gloves & a hair dye brush to our scalps. Then they massaged it all in nicely followed by a phenomenal head, neck, shoulders & arms massage. Had a full wash and hair massage at the shower basin & then dried off back at the chair. You can do a simply dry off or get the full blow dry & style which looked great. Definitely worth the money & enjoyed the pampering

Had the best spa treatment arranged by my gf’s for my birthday. Yuliana was amazing and such a beautiful person. The massage was that absolute best scalp, shoulder and arm massage I’ve had on my holiday! Definitely recommend for the full pamper and will be back!

HAZARDOUS!! POOR QUALITY!!! My eyelashes are absolutely ruined and my shellac gel nails chipped within 24 hours. *Edit upon reading the other reviews I have also realised I had been hit with hidden costs as well. My two mojitios, lashes and nails cost $260 AUD - which doesn't add up at all!* The eyelashes I paid for where full volume and usually take 1.5-2hours to complete safely anywhere else so I should have found it suspicious that this lady only took 45 minutes to do the full set. I hate how they looked because they looked quite sparse considering I opted for the Russian full volume and placement was wonky. The glue continued to sting my eyes every time I showered or swam. Usually I am quite tolerant to the glues used for eyelashes but this continued to be so incredibly painful for my eyes. They literally burned! Upon later inspection I found out she has glued multiple clumps of eyelashes together rather than separating single strand hairs. The removal process has made me lose eyelashes which is not ideal and also extremely painful. The quality of the lashes are poor, the glue is borderline hazardous and the application done by the staff was incorrect. This cost me 800k. Secondly, I purchased the gel mani (280k) and gel pedi (300k) and even though I clearly chose, showed and communicated the colour I wanted from the nail swatch selection - the staff gave me the wrong colour! Sometimes gel colours show up differently as they set so I waited but it was incorrect. I needed to leave at a certain time and couldn’t change this colour. I had to ask her to put an extra coat on (total of 5) just so you couldn’t see my actual nail underneath the paint as the paint layers were so thin and also patchy! I was so disappointed when they chipped when I got home and showered because I had all of this done for a trip to Malaysia and to celebrate Xmas and NY. All in all, I would definitely NOT recommend going here for anything to do with face, eyes or nails. They offer very poor quality for price, I’m sure they don’t vet their staff or keep track of how they deliver their service and who knows where they buy their products from because they don’t work properly! There are plenty of other places to spend your money at and save yourself the trouble you’ll run into at Blow Bar.

I went on a saturday evening around 18.30 and made a booking at front. I took the nourishing creambath and bomshell blow dry. With 2 drinks i payed around 900000RP but its a pampering. They give you a head and shoulder massage included with the creambath. The staff is soooo friendly and the scenery is very nice. The service was good and the staff is professional. I would totaly recommend the place if you want to be ready for a night out or just want some pampering😊

Worst of all the lady had done my friends hair FOR HER BIRTHDAY, blow out and curls and then we realised SHE BURNT ABOUT 2 INCHES OF HER HAIR OFF and now her ends keep snapping off.

Well disappointed really for a few reasons I know you are always on Bali time but running 20 minutes late to start and charging aus prices was not good but also not taking the time to use any product before using straighteners and not blow dry off completely certainly gave my sister and l a poor result. Also my mum paid $40 aus to have her hair only last a few hours so l would say bring your own straightener and crack a Bin Tang & buy $40 worth of cocktails instead!!

Do not recommend Blow Bar for nails. I have tried numerous places in Bali and went here for a fun, fancy vibe. The chairs were very uncomfortable and arranged in a weird way to socialize with those I came with. We got gel nails and they started lifting at the base after only a couple of days, my mom's polish was also very poorly done. I recommend you go to Charlotta within Seminyak walking distance, if you can go out a little further Think Pink Nails is the best experience and the best nails I have found in Bali.

I Love this place. I had Lilis. She did my threading and blow wave, I’m pretty much a Victoria Secret model now! The Atmosphere is Next Level, I had an Espresso Martini, the music Amazing(!!) i cant fault the staff. Highly recommend!!

Yanti gave me a great pedicure and was very meticulous. Ani gave me a manicure and was one of the best manicures I ever had, she’s an absolute perfection. Highly recommend this place
