Take away Bintang at @VillaCarissa Bintang is an Indonesian beer produced by the Multi bintang brewing group, a subsidiary of Heineken. Product from Dutch colonization, it is the most consumed beer in Indonesia. The name Bintang literally means "star". The 4.7% beer tastes of malt and hops. Pilsner type, a true clone of Heineken beer, it took on the taste, the shape of the bottle... The Bintang brewery dates from 1929, built in Surabaya during the Dutch occupation. After Indonesian independence in 1949, it took the name "Heineken's Indonesian Brewery Company". In 1957, the state took control of the brewery until 1967. Heineken then bought its old company and gave it its current name Multi Bintang.

Good selection of local and imported beers. Nothing on tap but good selection of canned/bottled beers in cold fridges. Really passionate guys that run it and also beer lovers. Good recommendations and reasonable prices. Able to sit inside and outside with Wifi. Worth checking this place out if your a beer lover.

An absolute must-visit if you want something more than just Bintang or Heineken and a real fun time. Large selection of Balinese craft beer and international beers, wines and spirits. Immediately became our "home away from home". Marcus, Dirga and the rest of the Beer&Co team (in Legian, Seminyak & Canggu) are the absolute perfect hosts reflecting the very best of Balinese hospitality. Live music and karaoke (go Icha!) nights are so much fun. Our 8 visits in 9 days attest to just how good the venues and staff are... Peter & Kieran (lifetime Beer&Co #1 fans)

Best price for drinks.. a bit small inside but great and friendly bartenders and staffs... Highly recommended for simple drinking place with friendly new people around.

Really great little spot on the main street. Large range of cold beers in big fridges and ready to go, there and then!! Well located before an evening onslaught on the town. Lots of people to meet and really great staff, well worth popping each night.

Gangsterstyle in there. Dont show the right price of Beers . Example 110 K for a German beer, but after tje Bill coming is 168 K. WHY? , the proce is take away and also different to what you order. For me is a absolutly Gangster Style.

The go to store for alcoholic drinks. Any kinds of liquor you can find. Prices variable. They have live music as well occasionally. Friendly staffs, good ambiance despite its small space.

Absolute vibe ! Been there accidentally but this place exceeded my expectations. The staff, The Music and Liquor collection all top class. The good part is - This place is operation during midnight too. Perfect place to conclude your pub hoping. Ms. Pampam is one of the sweetest host I met during my Bali trip

The selection of beers and liquors.. the price.. the atmosphere.. truly a hole in the wall place in Legian! I concern more to the beer side, so I didn't really check on the others. They got quite an extensive variety of craft beers (at least for INDONESIA level, where we're all really tired with Bintang right). They got Anderson Valley from US, Tuatara from NZ I guess? And the local craft beer star, Stark Beer. I didn't really have the time and space in my stomach so I just bought some and left, but to be honest I wanted to stay for couple of minutes and enjoy the beer :(

Tried to scam me, it was minor but still… They charged me with a delivery fee and a made up creditcard fee. They also tell you that you can get 2 for 1 but then charge you for two. Some drunk aussies with young girls, not my place. Staff was nice though

Was here on Saturday night as my friend came over and we are strolling around for a casual drink. If you are a beer lover its a must to visit the place when you happened to be in Kuta. Maybe we were lucky, we were entertain by a live DJ performance with a good music vibe from some of the best hits when i used to be in college. Great beer options are available, just GREAT

I think it might be good craft beer bar for Bali, but to be honest I was disappointed. Maybe it was fondly to hope to find a good stout here, but yes. They have no dark beer at all: no stout of any style, no porter, no dark ale. Only Guinness, which I can find in any minimart on the street. I have not seen gose or more rare types of craft beer as well. Maybe I missed something. They have a plenty of IPA though, according to my estimation barely more than 10 breweries. Still they have IPA, DIPA and NEIPA, some Belgium and German beer. Definitely good for somebody who is pining for the craft beer. But for my opinion it is more tourist bar with loud music and songs, not a place to try some interesting craft positions that was bought on a week. I am used to more underground atmosphere in such places I guess.

I've had many great nights here. The alcohol selection is huge. The band was good too. The way it's arranged encourages interaction with other customers.

Very friendly staff and good but loud music with nice laggers ❤️❤️But prices are expensive considering all you get is wooden chair on the sidewalk and they charge you 3% extra for using international credit cards.

The manager extremely aggressive when I said the beer not cold...(2 months ago) Never seen customer service like this. Acting like he wants to fight us. Even after I said don't worry il drink it, he still carry on with his aggressive manner. Shocking behaviour... Avoid!!!!
