Formerly "taco local", the newly named beat cafe looks nice - but took what was once my favorite margarita and quesadillas in bali and made them entirely inedible. The nachos and queso were literally plain nachos sprinkled with cheese - when we asked for some more toppings to make them have actual taste we were charged. The coriander margarita - which used to be delicious is now essentially tequila and sugar water...the quesadillas came with no cheese. In the end we couldnt even eat the food and had to leave. BRING BACK TACO LOCAL! Terrible.

We popped in for a drink and ended up having way too many. There were four of us. We also had some food. Some substantial Indonesian dishes that we shared with rice. And the calamari and croquettes. All very tasty and good price. The service was fun and the waitresses took good care of us. The barman was also very polite and knocked up wonderful cocktails. By the time the DJ came on we were ready to dance! Gotta say they could work on the toilet though. But we'll be back for sure. Good stuff The Beat!

Great Indonesian and Tapas Menu. Board games and full size 8 ball in between courses. “All you can eat at the beat” promotion was a hit with our large group that had the chefs at full pace. Would highly recommend corn fritters with spicy source and fried tofu called by another name of course, on the tapas Menu. Healthy options of smoothies were out of the park, like the avocado I had, could have been risky but exceeded expectations. Actually came for some Mexican next door but found ourselves at the Beat. Hope to return when they have live music next time

One of my favourite hideaways in Bali. Fantastic food and such a chilled vibe. The menu has something for everyone at a decent price and the DJ plays some really cool house that’s not in ya face like many other venues. Would recommend the Beat Cafe highly. 9/10 in IMO

This is my 4th day in semniyak, and I absolutely love this place. I accidentally got to this place, after loosing my track to get to one of the very famous restaurants around,,,,,,,, but I am so delighted, as the restaurant I was recommended to to was so overpriced and mediocre.....(realised after my trail there the day after). I highly recommend this place with variety of choices, and with authentic Balinese food. Very friendly staff and genuinely helpful. It’s fairly new and hence not very well rated on the websites. I can tell you one thing, I you take a wrong turning and end up here, you are not going to regret. The food is delicious, staff is lovely and I have been here very frequently ever since I got lost on the first night. Enjoy peeps, it’s a really nice place. Very Balinese with good western menu too. You won’t regret. Have fun, be happy 😃

Beat Cafe lunch was excellent, tasty and great value. The selection of local dishes there, was second to none, they came fast and furious! Maybe call it Beat Warung,? Anyway full marks, and the staff there super friendly! Will be back tonight to try the cocktails, and hear the entertainment!

Absolutely terrible experience here. Spent 30 minutes waiting for 2 burgers with only one other table of 2 in the venue. When they arrived they were inedible, a steak knife wouldn't have sufficed to cut the meat. After a further 15 minutes the fries we ordered hadnt arrived so we decided to leave without them and thankfully weren't charged. Avoid

👍👍 I'd recommend reserving for brunch if you want to sit indoors. I ordered the Full English Bunny Breakfast which was very good. Every ingredient was delicious and it came in a lightly toasted brioche bun. For the drink I ordered the Strong Boy - I highly recommend it 👍
