One of my favourite Indonesia restaurants in Bali. The restaurant has great vibe and atmosphere. All the dishes are very delicious and nicely presented. The portion is not very big, so you can try more dishes in one go. Cocktails are good as well. Service is quick and staffs are super friendly. This place has both indoor and outdoor dining areas. We had outdoor seats to enjoy beautiful sunset. Will definitely come back again. Highly recommended.

Really good Indon food with stunning ambiance. Love the pork sate, brinjal and grilled barramundi. The pork cheek was so so. Cocktails were so so too.. a tad too sweet. We were served by attentive and polite staff. Music could be improved as there was none and we could hear loud thumping music from the beach club instead.

Had a wonderful night at the restaurant. I’ve mentioned in the appt about my husband’s birthday, although was mistaken at first. Eventually they sent us a big warm wish with the selected desserts! All the food and desserts are super good. And love their rice, portion is also great.

We absolutely loved Kaum. Located on the second floor of Potato Head beach club, Kaum overlooks the club and the beach and serves Balinese and Indonesian fare. Some of the best service I've had at any restaurant, period. We had 5:30 reservations and watched a beautiful sunset over the beach. We have a four year old so the early seating worked well for us. Classy but not stuffy. Highly recommend going with one of the course menus. The one we went with was about 340k IDR, which, while not cheap, is a much better value than we'd seen for other set menus in Bali. Can't recommend Kaum enough!

We loved it here! The atmosphere is truly authentic and the drinks (especially the Long Island ice tea) is the best I’ve ever had. The food absolutely brilliant but most importantly I have never been to a pub with such great service as this one. Everyone is not only Super friendly but will make you feel like home. One person that stood out for us is a staff named Chandra who made us want to come back just to talk to him and enjoy the pub with him. He’s truly the epitome of great hospitality. I loved this place!

Kaum was both elegant and serene. We absolutely loved their take on Balinese cuisine! For an early dinner, we tried a wetter noodle, chicken curry, and spicy veggie dish, each distinctly flavorful! Fantastic staff and service complemented their ambience. Armed with a fresh coconut and a smooth Bintang to enjoy their sunset, we popped outside to the connected deck overlooking the Potato Head Beach club, pool, and beach. Food was amazing (great presentation and tasted great), the staff was very helpful with picking food that would suite our taste especially since half of us could handle spicy food and the other half couldn’t. Staff was also very friendly and the view was on the balcony was beautiful of the beach and sunset! Food was also good to share amongst a big group to give everyone a chance to try each kind.

We absolutely loved this restaurant. In fact, we liked it so much, that we came here for lunch two days in a row. Would have come for the third day as well, but unfortunately our holidays ended. The food is delicious, and we like how they incorporate dishes from different parts of Indonesia. We also appreciate the multiple vegetarian options. We came here for a late lunch without reservations but luckily they still got a lot of tables when we arrived at 2pm. We ordered the set and the food was delicious. The seasoning of the dishes were just right without strong flavours but still very flavourful. Except for the dessert which was just average, and we were very full after finishing the large pot of rice. Also, the service was a bit slow so please reserve more time for the meal if you come. In general good to have a comfortable meal and try the modern indonesian cuisine here.

Visited Kaum as a friend recommended it, the restaurant has gorgeous views over Potato Head beach club and the ocean and we managed to get a table by the window that overlooked the sunset as we dined. Food portions were generous for its price, my husband and I got 1 small plate, 1 large plate and rice, and we were both full by the end of the meal. It's very family style dining so go with more people if you want to try more dishes! We got the barramundi and the dumplings, both were great and the barramundi blew me away - really fresh and the seasoning is on point! We enjoyed our meal and had a lovely time :)

Environment and ambience is pretty good, with some nice upbeat backgrounds music. The one and only downside is, their staff can be overly attentive. They will come overly frequent to ask you if you want more foods, more drinks, clearing the plates etc... That give us a sense that they wanna chase us off. But the night we went, they weren't busy. There isn't any queue outside and they have quite some empty tables available. So I don't appreciate the over attentiveness. Other than that, it's quite a pleasant dining experience with Kaum. If you are here, would recommend you to give this restaurant a try.

Superb describes all! Amazing view, splendid food with excellent service - everything at Kaum is spectacular! I managed to get an outdoor seating overlooking the sunset with cool breeze blowing through, lovely weather if you are planning for dinner. Afternoon might be a tad warm for my liking. Ordered the amazing grilled barramundi with special Balinese flavor which was light and citrus; compliments the fish! The grilled octopus was ok, pretty average perhaps I much prefer the larger octopus compared to what was served here (all ingredients are locally sourced). Overall the experience is most amazing, a very trendy and hip beach bar at level one, Kaum is just right on top. Certainly in my fav restaurant list in Bali. For sure ill be back 😋

The chef and staff at Kaum did an amazing job of catering for a 60th birthday dinner with one of the guests having a severe peanut allergy/coeliac. They emailed meal suggestions, were prepared when we arrived and so kind and supportive ensuring a 5/5 experience for all. The best bit ? The fantastic food, sunset view and wonderful memories - do not miss this restaurant

The shredded chicken was the best. Duck which was the most expensive didn't impress. The view was really good. Its expensive in Bali. I would have given 5 stars if not for the fact that they forced us to drink up all our water in our water bottles before we could enter the building. Absolutely ridiculous. How much more money can they earn for us consuming all that water outside? It felt degrading.

What an awesome meal we had!!! Totally unexpected considering it is within Potato Head, a very westernized establishment. Every dish (we had the "Indonesian Journey") was bursting with flavours...all the herbs and spices that you would expect from an authentic Indonesian cuisine. Portion was hefty and price was reasonable albeit on the expensive side. The ambiance feels a bit calmer than the bar downstairs as it is less crowded & also people are more focused on dining. If you choose to dine outdoor & agree to share table, however, it can be a bit different. Halfway into our dinner, a group of partying guys joined the table with their beer bucket & cocktails. They were apologetic as the bar staff downstairs moved them here, and it’s not a big problem either. But in my opinion, it would be good to have opposing ambience going on in the restaurant & the bar so that people can choose what type of vibe they want. Or perhaps the restaurant was meant to be that lively & I just had the wrong impression going in.

I had been looking for an Irish pub in Seminyak that was similar to the ones back in Melbourne. I was wrapped when I found one with Guiness on tap. We tried a few snacks and had chips, spring rolls and chicken croquettes. Was fairly decent for what you find Bali and wasn't too oily. Would definitely return again.

Came here due to the great reviews on Google. Overall food was good, service was excellent, and presentation was nice. Improvements: We sat upstairs near the end of the restaurant and it was pretty warm. I was sweating and trying to enjoy the food which wasn't pleasant. I asked to open the sliding door for some breeze to get in but they said no since the aircon was on so they couldn't. Instead I stepped outside every so often to cool down to resume my meal. Drinks were a bit expensive when compared to the food price which I thought was interesting. I would recommend them to turn the Aircon higher or listen to customer to open up some windows.

One of our must visit dinner places in Bali. For two people we ordered Ayam Berantakan, Keciwis, Ikan Barramundi Bakar Sambal Dabu Dabu, sambal and red rice. (One bucket of rice is more than enough for two hungry people). Food was amazing as usual. It is on the pricier side for sure but the quality you get makes it worth it. Small note: it is not allowed to bring bottled water into potato head (at the entrance they check your bag), if you happen to have one, they will keep it for you at the security checkpoint and return to you upon exit.

Drinks were yum as well we tried a few cocktails, all were yum! But the food was amazing! Cooked perfectly, melts in your mouth. Loved the tuna as an antree, and pork as a main. Definetely love to visit back when i come back in Bali :)

Their must order pork belly sate was a feast for the senses and did not disappoint. The barramundi was flavourful and paired well with the sambal matah. Even the coconut rice was fragrant and came in the cutest weaved basket. Prices are extremely reasonable given the location, quality of food and generous portion sizes. A must visit if you visit Seminyak! Our favourites: 1. Babi Genyol Fried pork cheek small plate 2. Safe Babi Kecap pork belly large plate 10/10!!! 3. Terong balado Teri eggplant paired perfectly with rice 4. Kacang Mete Karamel dessert ice cream was so creamy and paired with the nutty tart reminded me of an elevated Christmas mince pie. Not too sweet! A special thank you to Coki and Manish for making us feel like VIPs and making my birthday dinner extra special.

We really enjoyed the food. Especially the pork belly sate. We had the "journey through Indonesia" tasting menu and the chef was able to modify one of the dishes to take account of my peanut allergy. It was nice to try a couple of different things, especially as 2 of the dishes we liked the look of from the menu were on there. We booked ahead of time. The restaurant was quiet when we arrived for an early dinner (5.15pm) but got busy as we were eating. We were there at the right time to watch the sunset during our meal which is easily done from the restaurant which overlooks the ocean and the beach club. We aren't really beach club people but the restaurant was worth a visit. It was my birthday and the staff kindly sang me happy birthday and brought an extra little dessert with a candle which was sweet.

Genuinely one of the best meals we have had while on holiday. Highly recommend doing the set menu, which allows for a taste of everything. We truly couldn’t fault anything, and the staff were wonderful. It is the perfect place if you want some Indonesian fine dining.
