Highly recommended for seafood lovers. They provides from raw to perfectly cooked. With a delicious taste of cuisine, the place is also very pretty with a bohemian interior style that is equipped with comfortable seats and cushions. Second time going to this restaurant. First time early in the year. It was not the best experience, poor service, over crowded and not the best food. I told myself I'd not repeat it. But decided to give it a second chance, as it is a popular place (I'm still scratching my head trying to figure out why!) and give it a go. While this time the service was better, not great, but much decent, the same can't be said about the food. The fish was tasteless, absolutely tasteless. Which is a big disappointment as fish in this area is fresh, delicious and usually a catch of the day. I guess this one was frozen. Portion was tiny. Price is cheaper than competitors, but still this was not even half, more like a quarter of the usual fish portions. For fish being abundant in the area, one sure expects much more. The sweet potato accompaning the fish was nice though. The cocktails are cheaper than other places (I assume this might be the reason it is more crowded), although nothing spectacular or special. So for drinks seems alright. In my opinion, this a very over rated place. I won't be going back. Not a repeat for sure!

If you’re a fish / seafood lover, you definitely can’t be missing out from visiting Moana on your visit to Bali / Canggu. They’ve got any & everything related to Tuna - Right from tacos to raw to salad !! It’s a nice setup with island vibes / Hawaiian dress code for the staff / great to click pictures. So ambiance is pretty nice overall. They’ve wide range of dishes related to fish / seafood, right from Pasta to Grilled Fish to Finger Food. Chilled Coconut Is must have to quench your thirst + the size is simply mind blowing. Tried multiple dishes on the menu , nothing was a turn down. Staff is really welcoming too & guides you the signature dishes to try out.

We often passed this restaurant because on the same street we stayed in Batu Bolong. It's quite busy daily and night. And finally we tried for dinner. Very cozy and nice ambience. The lighting and place looks homey. The food was good and staffs were friendly and nice when we asked anything. We ordered seafood and all fresh and delicious even the dips.

The service and atmosphere were great. The food wasn't 5 stars in my opinion but I definitely liked it. That said, it has a great price/quality ratio. The cocktails were pretty good, we had a Mojito and a Bloody Mary, and in particular the latter, was excellent.

Super cozy place! And the foods are amazing. I love their snapper with creamy coconut sauce. Highly recommended to visit if you love seafood. I will come back here again for sure!

I loved the staff! The food wasn’t bad, however I think there’s a million other better places to eat around here. The portion was smaller than I would have liked, as I felt it was too much rice. Still , great service and cute atmosphere. I had the tuna steak and the coconut cheese cake. The cheese cake was actually incredible. My two friends had the snapper and they also felt it was a lot of rice and not enough snapper.

Lovely seafood, well crafted experience. The place is beautiful as well. Nevertheless the servers are a little slow, definately deserves 5 stars! Even more! ❤️

Moana really change my opinion towards tuna.. never been a fan of tuna my whole life but I will definitely eat it if it comes from moana! Been here a couple of times when I stayed in Canggu and even came back here after move to another area.. anything just to taste the fresh tuna once again at Moana! Definitely worth the price and the ambience is great too!

I’m from Hawaii and was very excited to find this spot. Great small plates. We came here 2 out of 4 nights in Canggu. Large portions. I could’ve gone back even more frequently for the the Poisson Cru. I added a little extra salt and lime to mine. The cane juice is amazing. Loved all the drinks and cocktails. Fun atmosphere. Attentive service.

One off my favorite restaurants

Food was decent. We ordered a combination fish platter for an appetizer and a raw tuna platter and a grilled mixed fish and shrimp platter. I think the shrimp could have used way more seasoning and the other grilled items were fine, just not great. If we didn't have the dipping sauces, I would think the food is bland and flavorless. Price is high for Indonesian but thus restaurant is targeted for tourists. We went here since it was our first night after a 35 hour long trip to get here so wanted something easy and familiar.

Our second visit! The last time was in 2017. Food is still as good. Love love the ambience. This time we went for the Tuna Platter, which was so so generous in the portion of fish. We also ordered the Ute Ute Chowder which was so flavourful and delicious.

Fresh fish bowls and tasty juices, but we were left waiting a little too long for our mains! The staff might have assumed we were not done with our appetisers - the avo eggplant and prawn cocktail. (Appetisers were soso, I wouldn’t recommend…)

Best place in Canggu to taste different kind of fish and delicious flavor! You have quite a menu choice (their aji balls are SO great!) and we had a real good time there! Plus the staff and decor were really sweet! If you are a fish / sea food lover, you cannot miss this place !! Go early or make sure to book a table before ;)

My Canggu favourite. Food so good and healthy, lots of variation of fish and prawn served how you like it. Amazing for both breakfast and dinner. Tuna steak, Samoa burger and the trio are my favourites. If you are in Canggu this place is a must.

Good value for meal!!

One of the best places for seafood in Bali hands down! Favourite were the succulent fresh tasty prawns for starters! So yummy! Had fish with mango salsa for main, and it was so large I couldn’t finish the rice! It was well cooked, and tasty with the additional sambal. The wine was lovely too. The service was perfectly attentive, our waitress was fully knowledgable on the gluten free aspects of the menu. I’d recommend any day of the week!

Their tuna poke bowl is unreal. I had a short stay in Bali and came here at least 3-4 times. They also do beautiful fruit smoothies. Their service is great and restaurant fit-out is pretty cool. Plenty of scooter parking out front.

Wasn't to impressed with the food . The portions of fish are small and tasteless. The prawn cocktail had 2 yes 2 prawns and a bowl of avocado diced up . Really dissatisfied. The fish portions were 100gms and charged almost $20 for two prawns and 200gms of grilled fish . This is Bali where I buy 2.8kg snapper for $30 at the fish markets . Really really overpriced menu I give 3 stars because the staff are terrific and the restaurant is very well set up and looks lovely with upstairs amd downstairs with candlelit tables
