3rd time here over the years of visiting Bali with my partner. This restaurant is still the same, well maintained, gastronomically delightful and service excellent. A long list of fine wines to pair up with your food at slightly high prices but it’s worth it. All dishes were well presented from starter to main. We skipped the dessert. There’s no dress code but encouraged to dress appropriately. We went straight from the beach with flip-flops and felt a little under dressed but the staff were still entertaining us. We encountered 2 groups of super ‘screamy’ loud female tourists seating next to us during our dinner and was ruining the ambience of the entire place, the staff were so helpful and attentive, they changed our table twice just to be away from these 2 misbehaving totally self entitled inconsiderate and spoiled rotten females. (No gender bias here) Thankfully our night ended well and were so pleased we returned here on this trip to Bali Seminyak. Tips: Either go early before sunset hour or after sunset hour to avoid large crowd. Reserve a quiet table if possible. You will be thankful as Seminyak beach is getting way too over crowded after covid with all those new establishments.

Excellent fine dining Italian Restaurant overlooking Petitenget Beach in Seminyak Bali. Right in between Alila Resort and Samaya Beach Resort. I had dinner here 8 years ago and remember it being excellent. Came back in April 2022 and it did not disappoint. Such great service, awesome food and stunning view of the beach and perfect place to see the stunning sunsets. Had Antipasto, scallops which were excellent and spaghetti with soft Shell Crab - sensational. Pricey but worth it!

Food, view, service - all terrific. To address the portion sizes everyone keeps saying are poor... I'm a 6'-2" 220lb American - I sweat KFC grease. We had an app, main entree and a desert and I left plump and happy. Not sure what the complaints are about, portions were not an issue. Worth every rupiah.

The beach-front location is beautiful, the architecture of the building is incredible, the food is fantastic and the waiters are not just great, but have the Balinese warmth, attentiveness and sense of humor which makes Bali what it is. It now has real competition, but this place is still a Bali dining experience at its best - go there tomorrow.

Fabulous location to watch the sunset over Seminyak Beach. Taxi's go through security and there is easy parking. Beautiful tropical building with 5 established palm trees leading from the manicured grass to the beach. The Italian influence menu is wonderful and there is something for everyone. It’s Italian food of the highest quality but it’s created with the thoughtfulness to complement its Asian and in particular Balinese influences. The venue is also quite simply stunning, overlooking the beach to capture every sunset in all its technicolor glory, there is a tasteful green lawn with palm trees on a mound, to hide away the open beach, so every shot you take of the sea looks beautifully framed. The design of the restaurant is a simple Balinese open concept so you feel at one with your surroundings. On this visit we couldn’t resist but to come twice so got to sample a few dishes. Firstly we tried the lamb ragu on a bed of mashed potatoes that was rich in flavour and texture but not too heavy as a main. The special of seafood was recommended and didn’t disappoint as it had a little spice to bring out all the different seafood textures within. The next night we tried the crispy pork and it was everything you expect it to be and more, with the meat being as juicy and soft as the skin was hard and crispy. The seafood pasta was also light and springy and the seafood was cooked to perfection so the texture made each bite burst with flavour. The starters and desserts were as expected, delicious. If we were staying in Bali for longer, we probably would have been back again, so if you only have one place to visit for a great meal in Bali, make it here.

La Lucciola is classic Seminyak. A restaurant that’s stood the test of time, with one of the island’s most picturesque views of a sunset. The menu rarely changes but I was surprised you longer are required to book. It’s a walk-in type scenario and they’re now open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You’d be hard pressed to find something you don’t like on their menu and they do cater for various dietary requirements. They have quite a good wine list and cocktails that allow you to kick back and enjoy the views in this magnificent dining experience.

An amazing experience - we got there early enough to get a table at the front with beach and sunset views - food was very good especially the duck and Tiramisu. Staff were fantastic in ensuring gluten free and vegetarian available for a family member. Highly recommend this restaurant for the meal and setting.

Celebrated our anniversary at La Lucciola on the 25th of June. Made our reservation the day before and staff were really lovely. We got there about 15 mins early to our reservation but still got seated. The front of house host was very nice and welcoming. Initially got seated on a table on the second floor and had multiple tables blocking the view so we asked to move. Staff were more than happy to help and placed us on a table downstairs with a front row view of the ocean and sunset. We ordered the Crispy Skin Pork Belly (highly recommended by others and was delicious) & the House Made Trofia Pasta Cacio e Pepe (also very delicioush for our mains and shared the Sauteed Broccoli for our side. For dessert, we got a vanilla pannacotta and a sort of chocolate dessert (forgot to snap the dessert menu!) and staff decorared the plate with “happy anniversary” which I did mention when making the reservation which was a nice personal touch. We also ordered the prosecco which was amazing, so sweet and delicious, definitely one of the best proseccos I had! The restaurant seemed very kid & pet friendly from what we saw. Would definitely recommend!

Went there on our second night after arriving to Bali. My husband and I live in Bangkok where we have some truly great Italian restaurants to choose from. I can honestly say La Luciolla could easily compete with them. The place itself is set on the beach with a great view of the sunset if you come around 6 pm. We came without making a reservation, which I would recommend to do as it gets busy very quickly. The staff was very accommodating and did manage to get us a nice table upstairs with a great view over the beach. The food was fantastic and the service was absolutely great, we didn’t have to chase after our waiters at any time. The restaurant is more on a pricey side but it was so worth it. Attempted to get into bluebird taxi parked in car park and was then aggressively told we weren't allowed to get that specific taxi as they didn't work for the company situated outside the restaurant. After explaining that I would not want to get out and walk over to the station with my broken foot in rain, was then forcibly removed from the taxi. Completely unacceptable, disgusting behaviour. Will be telling everyone I know not to visit to avoid this horrible behaviour.

The best thing about this place is definitely the location, you have a very calming view on the beach and sea and with a bit of wind makes for a fantastic view with lots of people taking pictures on the grass in front of the restaurant. The staff is good and efficient. Disappointed that they only sell Prosecco by the glass and not by the bottle The menu is rich in options, however, the food is rather average. The pappardelle with beef was too sour and Cacio e Pepe was lacking flavor, had to add more pepper and a bit of salt. I have not been here for couple of years but would post pretty much the same review on my first visit 4 or 5 years back.

Lovely location on the beach, pretty lights at night and a lovely restaurant. Not over crowded - lots of space which is nice and peaceful. The food was great, we had the gnocchi, pork belly, lamb, chicken and potatoes. All were great and 100 % would recommend and would Return whenever I can. The staff were very helpful, smiley and attentive. Love this place.

In such a beautiful location somewhere you really must go to at sunset have a drink or two plus some delicious food. This place was lovely and quiet not that the restaurant was empty it wasn’t, it was just that the location was so peaceful and serene. We loved the decor, The atmosphere the ambience and the wonderful staff. We were a party of six and had many dishes all of them stand outs. I would highly recommend you visit here at sunset it’s truly beautiful.
