Between 2006-2016 we always ate at Tom Yum’s Warung behind the Kuta Townhouses where Yulius and Patu operated, always great food at great prices. Since they opened Tom Kah at the front of their residence in Berawa Beach we still grab a taxi from Kuta every holiday and catch up for lunch there. Still great food, great prices and great friends. Not real Thai food. Food was too watered down, very mediocre tasting. Like something a college student would make with very little ingredients and had to whip something up real quick. Not very complex. I guess this is good if you’re on a tight budget and just wanted to get full.

My canteen in Canggu! The taste is really close from what you can find in Thailand (my favorites : red chicken curry and basil chicken), the portions are big, it's cheap and above all, the owner is super nice! And... food is coming fast. I think I would go almost everyday if I was living closer.

I’ve given this place several tries... Their curry is tasty, super cheap and good portion. Pad thai is the wrong noodle, flavorless and way too much bean sprouts, to be fair most Thai places in Bali are rather disappointing...I have high standards for Thai food especially for pad thai. Another thing is their Chai tea is very authentic proper Thai flavor, IMO (so it’s super sweet, keep the ice!) But they only serve you half empty glass(ha ha) every time, barely 1/3 that time I ask for less ice - I honestly thought they accidentally gave me a left over drink from someone else... :(

Really nice friendly owner but food isn’t up to standard. I went there looking for some Thai food. I’ve spent around 6 months in Thailand so really know and love Thai food, this isn’t it. I got a papaya salad which lacked all flavour and was really soggy then I got what was supposed to be a tom yum, it was brown so first impression wasn’t good. Then I tasted it, it tasted like warm fishy gravy. Absolutely nothing like tom yum. So please don’t have high hopes of good thai food.
