The
problem
with
the
Sunday
brunch
at
the
W
is
that
Seminyak
has
many
good
eating
places,
so
that
the
brunch
ends
up
being
not
that
special.
It's
pretty
good,
but
it's
not
'wow',
and
the
hotel
and
surrounds
are
not
that
special
to
look
at
either.
Nice,
as
expected,
but
not
glam.
The
buffet
was
well
managed
and
never
seemed
overcrowded,
and
a
free
sparkling
wine
on
the
way
in
was
a
nice
touch.
Seafood
was
not
as
good
as
you
get
at
our
usual
haunts,
with
very
watery
bland
crab,
average
prawns
you
had
to
shell
and
clean
yourselves,
sub
par
oysters,
tasteless
sashimi
and
dumplings,
average
fish
bao.
Mussels
were
actually
quite
delicious,
but
not
much
else.
Indian
fish
steak
was
unpleasant.
Meats
were
good,
as
were
desserts,
no
complaints
there.
Vegetarian
options
were
pretty
standard
fare
with
a
few
Indian
food
options
(really
good
vegetable
red
curry,
an
awful
dahl,
other
ok
curry)
different
salads,
a
top
notch
Tofu
bowl
etc.
Terrible
coffee
!
So,
convenient
if
you
want
a
pig-out
smorgasbord,
and
good
enough
in
that
respect,
but
doubt
we'll
go
back.
3.5
stars,
upped
to
4
for
excellent
service
and
how
well
it's
run.
If
not
doing
the
'with
alcohol'
option,
do
get
there
early
for
2-for-1
cocktails
pre-brunch
(great
margaritas,
sub
par
coffee
martini).
