Really good beef noodle soup!! I'm from Taiwan and this is nearly the top five I've ever had! The meat was extremely tender with handmade noodles and tasty broth... Chilli sauce has a hint of smoky flavour, very spicy and delicious. Highly recommended!! We will come back again!! The owner and staff were very nice and friendly too. Great experience!!

(속 안 좋다면서 다 먹은 건 비밀...) 스프라이트(2만룹) 하나 추가해서 소고기 국수 2명 + 스프라이트 1 =총 20만룹 나왔습니다(약 16,000원) 뭣보다 서비스 차지(발리는 기본 15%)가 안 붙습니다. 보통 20만룹 시키면 서비스차지 포함해서 24만룹 정도 나오는데, 여긴 딱 20만룹. 아무튼 한국인들은 매우 좋아하실 맛입니다.

Really good taiwanese food. Beef noodle soup is better than most ramen in the area. Dumplings, claypot duck, chicken nuggets are good too. Portions are big enough, no extra tax or service, so total bill is very reasonable. The place surprisingly not crowded at all. And the space on the second floor with a view as a nice bonus.

The beef broth noodles are authentic Asian comfort food at its best - springy noodles, perfectly cooked egg, delicious broth. The chicken liver pate with sichuan chilli oil is a real treat for the palate as well - such a creative, memorable combination of flavors that really dance on the tongue. A real hidden gem in Canggu. I only regret that I only discovered XiaHouse on the last night of my stay and won't have a chance to explore the menu further (until the next Bali trip at least!!)

Some of the best food I’ve had in Bali! Everything we had was delicious - dumplings, Dan Dan noodles, clay pot. Prices are also very reasonable. The upstairs has A/C so the heat is not too bad. Highly recommend coming here if you’re in Canggu

one of my favorite places in Bali! If you like asian/chinese cuisine: THIS is the place for AMAZING food. Went there multiple times and always blown away by the flavor. Want some examples? The lamb noodles - never had such nice, chewy, fragrant, earthy noodles with such a distinct flavor profile. Cucumber kimchi - unbelievable refreshing, nice, crunchy kimchi. Perfect side dish. Pork belly rice - so, so, SO good! The pork is soft and succulent and crunchy and the right kind of fatty. Just perfect and a must-try! I dare you. And I really really hope, that they will add the chicken pâté back on the menu. And so should you, because it’s an eye opener! With the chives and the hot oil on the warm flatbread... an absolute delight! The interior is pretty cool too, but nothing too fancy (so you can concentrate on the food!). I do like that the kitchen is open so if you want, you can take a seat at the counter and watch your food getting cooked. Also you can read some of the books displayed while you wait. My secret tip: Momofuku is more than just a cookbook. It’s a thriller! Or have a chat with the super friendly owner of this place. I can’t wait for my next visit and hope you will enjoy this hidden gem of Bali’s restaurant scenery just as much.

Hidden Gem in Canggu Bali. Never ever missed to dine in this humble restaurant. These dishes absolutely amazing and delicious. Feels home cooking food. The always miss feeling kinda food. And I never find these kind in other place. Located near pantai batu bolong, in canggu area. Closed every monday, and open 15:00-21:00. Fair price for those food. Lack of parking area if you bring car. So you should find few steps away to park.

Yum! This place should have way more reviews because it is incredible—a Canggu hidden gem currently! We shared dandan noodles and the beef noodle soup and both were so tasty; so much flavour among the noodles. Can’t wait to return and try more of the menu. There is a nice upstairs areas for table seating away from the kitchen, or bar style seating downstairs in front of open kitchen. Excellent value too; only 180K for two mains & two non alcoholic drinks. Cash only!

We had 2x Beef noodle soup and 1x chicken pate coming with 2 piece of home made bred, and the cucumber salad. Just delicious and well balanced. I always pass by this place but due to its strange opening hours My timing never matched. Yesterday I finally went for early dinner. I am shocked as to why this place isn’t full all the time. Sadly, I walked past XiaHouse many more times than I actually went inside. That's an utter shame, because the food is superb and the restaurant is a true gem! The noodle soups were oh-so good and there's one for every occasion; a rich, hearty beef-based noodle soup; a well-rounded pork-based noodle soup; and lighter, zesty duck-based noodle soup. It's evident that a lot of care goes into the preparation and plating of the food. You literally can't go wrong with whatever you order here! Enjoy

This place is special. Chef Mike combines Contemporary western food with Chinese classics and the results are undoubtedly the best food we experienced in Bali. We started with the Smoked Bacon Sliders and Pork Dumplings. The dumplings were delicious - beautifully cooked, drizzled in a light sauce, and accompanied with crunchy fried shallots and fresh spring onion. The Smoked Bacon Sliders were the star of the whole show - bursting with smoky flavour and encased in perfectly cooked buns. We shared a bowl of Beef Noodles - expertly cooked pieces of tender beef, a thick and flavoursome broth, a whole egg (boiled to perfection in the broth), plenty of noodles. This was accompanied with a jar of sauce made on site - nothing but smoked chilis and fresh chilis, blended to a puree. Mike recommended just a couple of drops of this rocket fuel to spice up the noodles, so that is what we did. It added a pleasant heat without taking over the dish. Two starters and a main were plenty for two people, thanks to the generous portions, but Mike asked if we wanted dessert and given the experience to that point, we were powerless to say no. The dessert option (there's just one) is Handmade vanilla ice cream, strawberry jam, fresh cream and meringue. It was, like everything else, perfect. We will be back. Tomorrow.

Was super hungry when I just arrived to Bali so this was my first meal here and absolutely wonderful. The flavours from the clay pot and the meal was delicious and great portion for 1 person. Will be going back soon so try their dumplings and noodles!

There is nothing we dislike more them an empty restaurant! So, not knowing the tables were upstairs, we always past it. Oh! but what a mistake! We were missing on Mike’s fantastic food. ❤️Wow! Mike is the owner and he welcomes you. At first he can seems a bit unwelcoming! I think he is a shy man! But at the end of the meal, we spoke to him and he is a great restaurant owner with great values. (But a smile would make such a better first impression on new comers 😉) Anyway we weren’t there for Mike but for is food that was absolutely FANTASTIC! The dumplings were mouth watering ! I loooove the Dandan noodles more but my bf love the rice Claypot more. Seriously everything is delicious! The awesome flavors, and the crispy rice from the clay pot! Miammm Don’t miss Xiahouse!

Quite authentic Chinese food! Beef noodle soup and the dumplings are so good. It’s all about the soup and as Chinese i can tell they just make the soup right! I’m quite surprised to have this kind of noodles here in Bali, and I definitely recommend. besides all of this, the staff and the atmosphere is awesome too. This is a Taiwanese style noodle house, with a focused menu done right. I tried all 3 their of their noodle and all great! Decor is very minimal, would even be better if it was cooler. Slurping hot noodles = sweat. Lol

Was supposed to order the noodle only since it’s a noodle house, but then decided to order the sliders after seeing it mentioned on the reviews and boy how I didn’t regret it AT ALL. I suggest you listen to everyone and try it, then thank us later :p Very refreshing to find a restaurant in Canggu that actually serve good food, not just an ‘instagramable’ ambience :)

The beef noodle soup reminds me to the one in a Michelin starred restaurant-chain, only this one here is richer in flavours. The smoked bacon with srikaya sliders are on point! Will definitely come back when in Bali!

This restaurant is in my top 5 restaurants in the world. Definitely the best restaurant in Canggu and I have been coming here for almost halve a year now at least once a week. Not just noodles - all the starters are incredible! Definitely go for the sliders! The owner is a super talented and passionate chef.

First of all, the food is exceptionally delectable. Chef-owner Michael has poured his culinary chops from international stints into his offering, and you will not be disappointed! Flavourful and robust beef noodles, full of richness that is soul comforting. The chicken liver pate is delectable, smooth texture and the szechuan peppercorn rounds out the flavours. Flatbreads are homemade and pair well with the Trinidadian chickpea curry. And a fabulous end to our decadent meal was a satisfying bowl of homemade meringues and vanilla ice cream with strawberry jam. Needless to say, the price point is affordable given the quality and dedication of Michael and his staff. My husband and I are so happy to have dined here, and we are spoilt for choice being in Canggu. But Xiahouse is a hidden gem!

My hidden gem! I tried almost all of their food on the menu and everything is soooo good! Food full of soul and wont burn your wallet. I seriously come here every 2 weeks. Was looking for a noodle place and was happy to find this cute eatery via Google maps search. Started the meal with a refreshing and mild cucumber kimchi, generous plate of dumplings and crispy curried, boneless chicken bites. We tried the duck and beef noodles and loved both broths. We really appreciated the owner's recommendation to start with the lighter duck broth, as the beef broth was deliciously rich, and would have overpowered the duck. Looking forward to trying the other pork broth and other "No noodle soup" items 😁
