Beautiful decor, friendly staff and great full of flavour Indian food! We ordered the «Chicken Tikka» (it was AMAZING), the «Butter Chicken» which we asked to be spicier and WOW, it was very spicy so watch out if you’re looking for a kick :D, the «Garlic naan» , the «Lemon basmati rice» and the «Raita cucumber»! The dining experience was great! We definitely recommend eating here.

Amazing food, friendly service, beautiful interior! A large menu catering to many different preferences, including vegan options. In our group, we had Masala Dosa, Bhaigan Bharta, Butter Chicken, Aloo Paratha, and different types of Naan. We were all very happy and would recommend all of these dishes. An added bonus is the glass kitchen and seeing the food being prepared in the Tandoor.

This is the best chicken tandoori I ever ate in my life. Very tender, melting in my mouth. The tandoori yogurt sauce is amazing as well. The butter nan are excellent too. Well done. 6/5 stars.

Honestly I’m English been twice and the food is outstanding. We ordered chicken tikka to start the chicken was so juicy and the flavour was so rich. Main meal we ordered lamb Rogan Josh and chicken tikka masala was incredible. Chelsey garlic naan insane also. Best Indian in Bali!

We live in Bali since several years and never came to this restaurant. Nice place, young staff really nice and smiling. Manager friendly🤗👍🙏😊 Good indian food not too spicy. In BALI difficult to find not too much spicy food at correct price. This indian food is very very tasty and correctly spicy. Please keep it like this Cool place very comfortable at this warm period. Everything is good, even the wines are nice Thank you very much to be always helpful, kind, and friendly . We will come back again and again 🙏

The atmosphere is divine. I ordered the Baigon Bharta and it tastes like ALL onions and no eggplant tastes. The onion overtook the dish entirely. Sadly, not a fan at all. My partner got the chicken curry and he enjoyed it! Unfortunately for the restaurant, he isn't writing the review. The chapati was decent could have used some butter. The chai needs a bit more support. It took us many trys to get the staffs attention. Also, they didn't have masala dosa or Thali. I won't be back. The Bill came out to be 599.00. Very overpriced for the quality of food I'd say.

I had the most delicious Indian food experience in Bali at this restaurant. Every dish I tried was a culinary delight, and I can't praise it enough. I'd easily rate it 10/10 and highly recommend it to anyone looking for exceptional Indian cuisine in Bali. Don't miss out on this culinary gem!

Was in Bali for 3 weeks, went to Chai’ba; twice! There is nothing I do not like about this restaurant, everything was superb. Food was amazing, everything was piping hot and so flavourful! I had to come back again for their Butter Chicken and Palak Paneer, those were pretty addictive. Loving their interior design with the rustic industrial touch, so much to marvel at while waiting for our order. Will be back for more!

We were craving for Indian food and googled this place. The ambience was very nice and well decorated with Indian roots and photos. At lunch time was pretty quiet also due to weekday I guess. Food was piping hot and fresh. I got so excited and did not manage to take photos. Cheese Naan and Garlic naan was awesome. We looked the maalai kebab and tandoori chicken. Butter chicken was good but have tatsed better. Lassi was nice too. Overall experience was hearty and fulfilling. Thank you for the yummy food.

Very good food👍. We sat outside so it is some noise from the street. Recommended: 1. Cheese garlic naan (very tasty) 2. Chicken tikka masala 3. Butter chicken 4. Orange juice (very fresh) One portion is enough for 2 persons if you order a lot of naan like we did 😊 Probably the best Indian food that I know about at the moment...

If you are in Bali, don't miss dining here at Chai'ba! All dishes were excellent quality and tested absolutely delicious! Nice bar with refreshing cocktail. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Variety of excellent vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. If you are non-veg, must try tandoori lamb shank and chicken malai kebab. They use all organic spice and no food coloring. Absolutely fantastic food *****

Wow. Simply outstanding! The richness, the flavour and the exquisite execution of each dish. I’ve been a regular at the other popular place on the same street but from now on I’ll be here forever! Can’t wait to taste their other dishes next time. I had the Lamb shank biryani which was heavenly.

This was our second visit to Chai'ba and again they didn't disappoint. I selected a Boti kebab as a starter and Chettinad Lamb curry as my main, this turned out to be a challenge because the portion sizes here are generous. The food is so delicious here so I found a way😃. My partner had a Kadhai Paneer, which we added basmati rice and garlic naan. This place makes food so good it's kinda sad to finish your meal because you don't want it to end. The staff here are super friendly and attentive and the cooks must love what they do based on what comes to the table. Do yourself a favour and make this a top of the list restaurant to visit while in Seminyak. I will be back again.

Had a taste for Indian food and this spot was recommended by a friend. Lots of Indian people eating here which to me gives it the authenticity stamp of approval. Staff were friendly and provided quick service. We sat outside because the weather was nice. I got lamb korma and my friend got chicken tikka. Both delicious! Garlic naan was the perfect pairing and to drink we had something called lime squash. It was 10/10. Fair prices as well.

Wonderful atmosphere for delicious curries and Indian flare. I tried a few dishes, onion bhaji, chickenbriyani, king prawns, Rogan Josh and butter chicken- all foods were seasoned well however I personally found it to be a little salty for my liking, however I ate the food with a side of yogurt. The presentation of food is wonderful and the staff is helpful to guide you along the process and serve you.

This our second time to come here, we love indian food. Nice place, good vibes, good decorations small but cute, i think the food price a bit pricey but i think worth it with the taste, portion and good service :) we will come back for sure and tell our friends. Please open in Uluwatu area, we don't have indian food around this area.

Love it here, everything tastes like every part of the dish has been made in house, the quality of the food is great! the best Indian food I have had in Bali. The menu is diverse and you will be sure to find something you will like! My girlfriend has always been a bit skeptical of Indian food but even she enjoyed herself and said she would come back!

Really good Indian food here for a fair price! The flavours were executed perfectly and everything was delicious and well-spiced with the usual Indian spices I expect and enjoy! The lamb seekh kebab was very flavourful but I found the malai chicken kebab slightly under seasoned but still really good. I thought the prices were fair. If I had one criticism it would be that the service is a bit slow with some Items taking particularly longer than others. Overall we enjoyed the meal, come for the flavour and price and expect to potentially wait a bit.

Excellent and authentic Indian food. Chef deserves a huge compliment. Best place in Seminyak , Bali to have Indian cuisine. I had two meals at the restaurant, it was so good. I never tend to repeat a restaurant in a foreign land, but this one was just finger licking food. Staff was good and service was quick. Keep it up.

This is the second time for me to eat here and I am not disappointed. My friend and I ordered Garlic cheese naan and Butter naan with Chicken briyani and Butter chicken curry. Everything is delicious. I will definitely come back to try others on the menu. The restaurant itself is cozy and the restroom is clean. Overall, it's fantastic.

The most amazing food we have eaten in over 2 weeks of being in Bali & Lombok. The starters were beautifully fresh and crisp & the mains were the most perfect curries we have ever had. Being in the restaurant business for over 30 years and owning Indian restaurants both in England and Canada, my wife and I enjoy trying restaurants wherever we travel. Over the last 32 years we have visited numerous Indian restaurants in many countries, with the usual disappointment. And we approached Chai’ba with much the same attitude. We were both quite surprised and thoroughly impressed that our expectations were more than met here. Hands down they made the best old fashioned I have had here in Bali and my wife’s fennel Mojito also unusual but on point. So a great bar tender and a great beginning. The appetizer, chicken seekh kebab was juicy, tender, perfectly spiced and cooked to perfection. The lemon fried chicken also very tasty, which my wife had as her main and I ordered the lamb organ Josh, although very tasty was more like lamb curry, I have always made it, served and seen recipes in which the dish is made in a Karai with little sauce and sometimes with nuts. Nonetheless excellent flavour. The garlic naans were very good, thinner and smaller than what I am used to, but a suggestion would be to have cooked them a little longer as the edges were still a little doughy and raw. We would have loved to have finished with a traditional dessert, but alas here is where I feel the the restaurant may have fallen slightly short as it seems they do not make any. The server must have been new as she was a little tentative, but she was attentive. Maybe having new servers shadow before placing them on floor may help in making am even better guest experience. Overall, out of the two top Indian restaurants in Bali from what I have read, and after trying both, this one is a hands down winner.

Probably one of the best Indian restaurants I've ever eaten at. Every dish was amazing. Curries cooked perfectly and the prawns came out of the tandoor tasting exactly like they did in India.wish we had more of an appetite to order more. Going back to try their extensive dosa menu. Cocktails on point as well. Don't skip this

First time eating an Indian food and this resto made us want more! The garlic cheese naan is very tasty, lots of cheese and garlic, the lamb curry is super soft and very tasty, chicken masala is a little bit spicy for me but the meat and sauce is very good. Rice is perfectly cooked. Great job for this restaurant and the staff are nice and helpful too.

Pros - great service, atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful, clean and presentation excellent a+ Cons - what let it down was the food Chicken tika was too salty (but presentation and taste excellent apart from the salt Nann bread - cheese is processed - never had it with processed cheese before - completely ruined it - but if cheese was improved would taste great 👍 Biriayni rice - not huge flavour All and all great location/ service, but food needs improvement in a few small things Chai tea was great 😊

Ate here 20+ times since I discovered it half a year ago. Restaurant style Indian; very rich yet fresh in flavours and produce. Chicken Tikka Masala, Dal Tadka and South Indian Fish Curry all tip top. Cheese Naan is veeery cheesy if that’s your thing. Medium ++ spice level is my limit here.

Solid Indian fare. Lemonfried chicken is tangy and tender. Their Naanbread soft and with a tate of nut-butter. The served salty green banana served with ordered beverages are a skillful touch and go well as palate preparing snack. Helpful and friendly staff are at the ready.

(Translated by Google) Impressive. Once inside, the waiter was greeted kindly. The waitress was very patient when we asked about the menu and how it tasted. We were even given suggestions for the menu we ordered. We ordered chennai lamb curry, cheese naan, south indian fish curry, chicken tikka, indian masala tea, malaysian pull, plain basmari rice. Food taste very delicious. The lamb curry and fish curry were very pronounced. Chicken tikka has a slightly sour taste. Indian masala tea is soft. Tarik Malaysia tastes sweet and tastes spicy. we were given a free glass of mineral water when we canceled our order of bottled mineral water because the size was too big. When we finished eating, we were asked how the food tasted. Unique and comfortable cafe atmosphere. (Original) Mengesankan. Begitu masuk, sudah disambut pelayan dengan ramah. Pelayan sangat sabar ketika kami bertanya mengenai menu dan bagaimana rasanya. Bahkan kami diberi saran untuk menu yang kami pesan. Kami memesan chennai lamb curry, cheese naan, south indian fish curry, chicken tikka, indian masala tea, tarik malaysia, plain basmari rice. Rasa makanan sangat lezat. Lamb curry dan fish curry rempahnya sangat terasa. Chicken tikka ada rasa asam sedikit. Indian masala tea rasanya lembut. Tarik malaysia rasanya manis dan terasa rempahnya. kami diberi segelas air mineral gratis ketika kami batal memesan air mineral kemasan karena ukurannya yang terlalu besar. Ketika selesai makan, kami ditanya bagaimana rasa makanannya. Suasana kafe yang unik dan nyaman.
