not sure whats the hype about this place… except the view and live band. service was good and attentive. however, flies and huge rats everywhere especially on the patio. if you leave your food unattended, flies will come. taste of food was not appetizing. cocktails were not strong enough. unfortunately, we will not be back.

Great service! I’ve been in Bali for more than 2 years and must say the service in Chez Gado Gado is just amazing. The waiters keep table clean, offered us to use the water for cleaning sand from our feet. Always smiling and friendly! Especially the girl with a beautiful name Open made us feel very comfortable and informed about all the promotions. The food is also nice and the prices are reasonable. And we’ve got buy 1 get 2 pizzas. We didn’t expect much from the food, because in beach cafes food is usually not the best. But this place exceeded our expectations! Thank you!

Decided to check out this place as it was along the beach and had promotions for their pizza and pastas. We ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and Chez Gado Gado Pizzas as well as the Green Pea Ravioli and Seafood Marinara. The food was fantastic with large portions so it was very worth it. Would highly recommend the Chez Gado Gado Pizza. The restaurant had a great ambience and sea view and very friendly servers as well. Ended the meal well with their Chez Gado Gado Chocolate Melted which was a chocolate lava cake with ice cream.

Very nice restaurant on the beach facing West. The sunset was spectacular. All of the seats have a great view. I ordered the margherita pizza. The pizza was tasty and easily could fee two people. The live music is a nice feature and they are not too loud. I would recommend this restaurant.

Probably one of the highlight of our Bali trip! Food was of such high quality and beautiful presentation. We got the 4 tapas for $15AUD deal and it was definitely worth the money. Yes it’s a bit pricey compared to your warung food but you get what you paid for in a tourist spot. Service was attentive and warm. Beautiful sunset in the background, highly recommend making a booking in advance!

A little expensive (for Bali) but that's to be expected given this place is practically on the beach with great views for the sunset. The food itself was delicious. I ordered the lamb curry and a side of fried rice which you can see in the pic. I will say maybe the portion sizes could be bigger but that might just be because I'm chubby! The Old Fashioned cocktail my partner & I ordered (for the 2 for 1 happy hour) wasn't that great unfortunately so I'd suggest avoiding that particular drink option. If you want a sunset dinner, I'd recommend you get there early (like 5pm) to get seats as it gets extremely busy later on in the evening.

Food is decent, much better compared to the food at all the other restaurants/bars along that stretch of the beach. Cocktails are also better - at least you taste the alcohol and they also have options with more premium alcohol. Price wise, it is comparable to other restaurants/bars there or cheaper.

We were there today during the Happy Hours. Such friendly staffs. Enjoyed the Hawaiian, Margaritas pizza and drinks there. It’s the thin crust types. Quite crowded but they are super efficient. Recommended!

This place is a rare gem!!! It’s nestled right on the beach with live music every night at 6pm. The food and drinks are delicious! Adi Yoga was my server and he was so sweet and informative that I came back 2 nights in a row. Do yourself a favor and come here the next time you’re in Bali!

No doubt the place is beautiful, you get the beach views, perfect for sunset, the staffs are friendly, the ambiance was 9/10. I was enjoy my lunch time in here. For the food I ordered Gado-Gado and it was good 9/10, Beef pepperoni Pizza & Hawaiian pizza was good but not the best 7/10. And the amazing part is they have HAPPY HOUR PAY 1 FOR 2 (cocktail, pizza, pasta). I definitely will come back ❤️ keep the good job Chez Gado-Gado!

Very nice place with a great view on the beach and sunset. Friendly and attentive staff. I had the pan seared salmon. Salmon could have been cooked 30 seconds shorter but the taste was good. The potion though especially for the price was to little.

One of our favourite’s in Bali Casual on the beach. Can be hard at times to get a table. But we found if your quick in and out they can generally accommodate you. Can book but hard to book online for sunset. Large tables available for groups of 10. Staff attentive and happy to accommodate. Food easy great for a fussy eater. 2 for 1 cocktails on all the time.

A great beachside restaurant on Seminyak beach. We liked that they had 2 for 1 cocktails, and plenty of vegetarian options. Their menu is extensive, so you should be able to find something for the whole family. We enjoyed the beach and sunset views fr the beach patio area. There is also covered patio and indoor seating, if you prefer. The service was prompt and friendly, our food came out fairly quickly, and it was all delicious. Prices are reasonable, too. A great place for a drink and dinner at the end of your beach day, or just to sit and watch the ocean and the sunset.

Super fresh and tasty food. My family and me visited on a Saturday night — there was live music and great vibes. Definitely recommend the pork dish. My steak was cooked well and the mushroom gravy was tasty. The sushi roll was so fresh. The whole table thoroughly enjoyed the oysters (spinach & cheese).

Great place to watch sunset and easy and drink Mocktails were good, taco's with ribeye slices were yummy. Chips and mayo yum. Crispy pork belly fatty and huge portion. Friendly staff, quality place ! Recommended! Reserve a table, it gets busy around 530pm!

Out of the 6 nights in Bali we been here for 2 dinners. Surprizingly the waitress remembers me after several days. Fascinated by this expresso flavored cocktail, so well done the coffee scent dont overkill but compliments. Gado Gado was great too. Live band music blends well into the space.

Beautiful location for Sunset. We had the seafood platter and mussels. So much food all fresh and tasty. 2 for 1 cocktails were a bonus. Live band were so much fun taking all our song requests. Best cocktails were Mojitos and Passionfruit passions. Would definitely come back.

One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in all of Asia. The food came within 10 minutes of ordering, even though the restaurant was totally full. The taste of each dish was excellent. The thing we liked most was the stuff, they made excellent recommendations for both cocktails as well as food and took amazing care of us. The service is 10/10. We were thoroughly impressed.

Have been coming here off-and-on for a few years now. Last week, though, we really did have an excellent experience and worth posting this to sing the praises of both the food and the service. We spent three hours on the deck with a great selection of tapas and a couple of bottles of white. I am sorry that I did not get the main waiter’s name because he was at the top of his game. Well done!

Wonderful place for twilight coffee and dinner. Located at Seminyak beach, ideal place for watching sunset. Has a few tables under umbrella. Long menu for lite bite, beverage and meal. Various Indonesian and Western are on their menu list. Great atmosphere, great hospitality and very kind and helpful staffs. Great place for meeting friends along coffee and dinner. Reasonable price..$$$.

Awesome place for nice dinner with a beautiful sunset view and awesome food what i liked the most about this restaurant is the acoustic band that plays there every Tuesday and Thursday and very friendly staff they have also shisha with my favorite tabaco “Love66” definitely try it out and check this place out 😉

The vibe is the best on the beach! Two levels to optimize your sing along preference with the band, lighting at night is divine. Wait staff is so good, and the food is actually well priced and pretty good! Seafood is bomb here, oh and their special deals will make any order a winner

Should u make a reservation first because we know how hard to find the table during holiday. The view is just perfect , front of Seminyak Beach. They also have happy hour for several drinks and promos everyday. This is real a "Gado Gado" restaurant 👌 Food and drink also nice. Price? Quite reasonable price, really.

Everything about this place is 5 star. Fantastic selection of food, beers and cocktails. The staff are very attentive and always happy and eager to accommodate.

Had lunch at this establishment after recommendation by a local. The place was huge, the menu was diverse and the place was next to the beach. However the phone signal and the WiFi here is a bit hard to work with. The food was decent while a bit on the pricy side however during lunch there were promotion of 2 for 1 which made us try more menu as I was there with the kids. Taste wise was good and nothing to complain or praise. Due to the location it’s a decent choice for sunset.

Great location, tasty food, awesome cocktails. Very busy location on beachfront.The elevated lounge area is my choice, a lovely area to unwind watching the sunset. Reservations are recommended to avoid missing out. Great venue overall.

One of the best spots to enjoy the Sunset. Fancy place but now offering great deals on food and beverage. 4 selection tapas at a price of idr 110k! Cocktails happy hour buy 1 get 1 at a price of 110k too. Other ala carte menu also at affordable price. Wine selection might be changed to more affordable selection but still with great quality. Staff also welcoming us very warm and friendly. Definitely will come again for another espresso martini!

Was a nice place but the waiter just put bill someone else in my bill without confirmation and he was rude argued that the order was on me because I was sitting on the same table. Was very unhappy with the incident. I need to speak to the manager.

We were a bit late for the sunset so it was diner at Chez Gado Gado. Personnel are very kind and polite, very helpful with arranging tables for other guests with children. Regarding the food, we ordered Gado2 Rice Bowl, Balinese Rice Bowl, Pepperoni Pizza and Chicken Parmigiana Pizza for free. Pizza’s were good but Pepperoni was better. Gado2 was OK but Balinese Rice Bowl was a surprise! The chicken sambal matah and the urab are different than we used to eat. Rich of flavour and not spicy at all. Recommended!

Excellent atmosphere, good food and nice and efficient waiters, what more can I ask for. Taking away one star for somewhat chaotic order process (late notice of that they had run out of some dishes, and medium cooked became medium raw). But all in all everything was well handled and tasty. Very good drinks!

Best place we been in 4 days of stay. The food is amaizing. The 4 tapas deal is a real steal and it tastes heavenly. The cocktail are big, the choice is wide and they taste great. In the evening there were live music performance which really added to the experience. Really recommend coming.

Honestly what I loved the most in this place is the musicians, they really first of all attracted us to the place and second of all made us stay a while even though we were tired. Tried the pork rice dish, it was magnificent totally worth it and gonna come back again to eat it for sure, of course its a bit more pricey than other restaurants but its be expected as the service there is amazing 🤩!!! Their 2 in 1 cocktails is really so alcoholic, dont taste the sweetness at all 😅 only vodka , but nonetheless loved the spot

Best cocktails ever! I forget the name but there is hazelnut in my cocktail (THE BEST ONE) they also have strawberry Mojito. Pizza is goog and spaghetti just so so. During happy hour is not that expensive to buy

Made a reservation for 630. At 730 the restaurant still held the reservation for me. Top notch attentive service from all the staff. Food wise was delicious and flavorful. Not the cheapest place but decent value that you can expect at such places. Live singing was really good and add to the whole chill and relaxing ambience. If u are researching for a class place at seminyak beach, you won’t go wrong here.

Great restaurant, great views, friendly staff We spent a couple of nights at this restaurant. Almost anywhere you sit, you can get a great view of the beach and ocean. The food is excellent and great cocktails. The staff are awesome. Get there before sunset and you wont be disappointed.

We used to come here before Covid and it was quiet and more up market. Its been transformed to be more of a cocktail bar with sharing plates and tapes style food, which didn't miss a beat. We ended up eating there 3 nights while we were there and it was probably our restaurant of choice during our stay - and we went to some fancy Nancy places that charged a fortune (for Bali anyway(.

Sumptuous food, attentive service, and spectacular view. Very touristy but all servers are attentive so it's okay. Make sure you avail of the happy hour - for food and drinks.

Beautiful restaurant with stunning views in Bali. Beachfront. Food quality is not in line with the prices, but you pay for the view and service. You can even order sisha or just drinks. We highly recommend for a nice evening with friends, but don't expect food to be the best on the island. Generally they have DJs and are really good.

Excellent food. We had the lamb shank (was fall off the bone tender and so juicy/flavorful) and the crab ravioli which was also amazing. The place has a live band every night, playing 80-90s chart toppers that everyone can enjoy. The drinks were good. The service was great. Definitely make a reservation - it's busy. But the big thing was the food. So so good. Will be returning.

We could not reccommend Gado Gado more, oh if only all restaurants in the world were like this! We come back here over and over aimply because it's unbeatable. The food is always consistently delicious, and the service always friendly and attentive. The music entertainment is great, truly gets your attention. Best of all, the prices are really moderate. We alwaya feel guilty and leave good tips.
