Excellent and authentic Italian food. We ordered the Practice Tagliatelle, which was amazing, and ordered what probably was the best Tortellini we've ever had! The Tiramisu is also a must order. The place looks great and cozy and the service was very good. If you're looking for the best Italian food in Bali, this is the place to go!

Been going to eat here for more than 9 years and going. Many memories made here. The food has been consistent as long as I can remember and have never let me down. The food is more traditional and have a home cooking feel to it. The owners are always there and makes sure the food/service is provided to the customer with their best. The restaurant has a relaxing and chill ambience that improve the dining experience. The lighting is perfect and the service is top notch! Always feel welcomed whenever the staff who knows us welcome and greet us. The price of the food is still friendly and not expensive compared to other restaurants and the portions are plentiful. Truly my comfort restaurant whenever I am in Bali. Recommend the sangria and pasta. Personal favourite.

Nice atmosphere with friendly/attentive staff. The food was great although the flavour was on the subtle side (needed a bit of salt but that's personal preference). Wait time was a bit long (30-40mins) considering there were only 2 other tables being served. Overall a positive experience.

Probably the best vongole pasta in Bali. Here's speaking as someone who is a big fan of Italian food in Bali. The bolognese pasta we ordered was however really bland. Would recommend The Village Cucina in Sanur for the best Bolognese pasta in Bali, or Suarapura Restaurant for the best Arrabbiata in Bali. The pesto pasta we ordered was splendid however, close to the standard of pesto at Mamamia resto in Ubud. We haven't tried the aglio olio pasta but we hope it would be as good as the one we had at Black Beach resto in Ubud (olive oil from pre-frying process). The tuna pizza we ordered here both me and my girlfriend didn't enjoy at all. Maybe the tomato base is lacking? Overall the ambience is great, but the food here is a hit and miss. (The lady chef was not at the kitchen at the time but was chatting with customers).

This is a very cool and authentic Italian restaurant , we came for dinner last nite. Welcomed by friendly staff and sitting at large tables with chequered table cloths the menu is extensive from drinks to pasta to pizzas and desert. We chose penne putanesca and penne carbonara. Putanesca was delicious with slithers of black olives , seasoning and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese. Carbonara was traditional cooked in oil and bacon and very light...penne in both dishes was spot on. Accompanied with a serve of garlic bread it capped off a most enjoyable night whilst watching the movie on the big screen. Staff here are very friendly too.

Where we are from, anything above a four star rating is generous, for me, this was an easy ten out of ten. The service was very kind and the exterior is absolutely beautiful. Fresh pasta was very delicious. I strongly suggest this Italian restaurant, best pasta in Bali.

Casual dining at its best! We decided to dine at Rustica for our last dinner in Bali as we were a party of 7 travelling with 3 young kids who enjoy Italian food. It was easy for us to get a booking at 7pm and we enjoyed an authentic meal of homemade pastas and pizzas. There was a silent movie playing on a projector that had the kids enthralled while the adults could chat. The owner happened to be there also and had a lovely chat with him and the iconic nonna in their posters is his own mother and together they founded the restaurant. Thank you for the lovely evening & we would visit again when in Bali!

I had aglio olio con salaiccia and my bf had Gorgonzola. they were sooo good, the spices on aglio olio and the cheese on gorgonzola are 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽. the ambiente is cool and deff would go back once I am nearby.

Our first time here was fantastic, we love aglio olio and the pasta with wine sauce (forget the name), and the one who cooked & delivered the put was the auntie. Unfortunately, our second time is nay. We expected for nice tgif, but the meal wasnt. Gorgonzola & pesto penne & pizza is so so. When i ordered aglio olio by gofood, it tastes good but not till tasty level. Please also make sure the staffs also nice to anyone, no matter the cust is foreigner or local. We’ve been in Bali for 5 days and I could not find a proper home cooked meal until now. It was authentic Italian. Cooked by Mama. We enjoyed it so much that we will be back every day until we leave. Antonio stayed and chatted with us and we honestly say you get great service with a great meal. All staff were lovely. We highly recommend it if you are after a home cooked meal.

The pasta & ravioli are PHENOMENAL AMAZINGLY GOOD ( guess what, it is home made pasta) The pizza was good, smell the smoky flavor from the wood. Rustica Italiana is HIGHLY recommended If u wanna try authentic italian food. Prices are affordable and consider as cheap because it is authentic and cooked by Mamma Luigina. I saw mamma Luigina busy in the kitchen. Ohhh dont forget YOU MUST TRY THEIR CELLOs ( CHOCOLATE CELLO, GINGER CILLO, ANISE CILLO). Actually they have Limoncello but unfortunately it was sold out that nite ( limoncello is Italian lemon liqueur) . I truly recommend Rustica Italiana. Definitely will be back

Amazing food sooo yummy and couldnt get enough of my gnochi funghi and another one in pesto sauce! Friendly staff and they played a vintage movie every night. Also they give you complimentary bread sticks for you to wait before your food comes.

Feels like home but with better food and more limoncello! This is by far one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. The people are so incredibly friendly and take great care to make you feel at home from the moment you step in the door. And the food... well, it’s made by a proper Italian grandmother, and everything is so delicious. I had the gnocchi, that were like little fluffy bites of cloud in your mouth, and of course you have to save room for the desserts. I don’t usually order tiramisu in restaurants because I’ve had it in Italy and everywhere else I try it it’s disappointing, but obviously the tiramisu in Rustica is out of this world, all the proper flavours and textures and just incredible. Then after the meal I got offered a taste of their homemade limoncello, we got to talking, so then I tried the homemade chococello (I didn’t know that existed but you haven’t lived till you try it!), and by the end of it I was glad my hotel was just accross the road! This really feels like a little piece of Italy in Bali. Must try restaurant- you’ll leave with a full belly and a happy heart!
