when we arrived here we were greeted by the security that is so nice and humble. then when we entered the restaurant, we were also greeted by the staffs and it was a warm welcome. the woman in red dress last night was really helpful by telling us the recommendation and what we should try based on its popularity. all of the staffs were so nice and humble. I love the vibes, especially my fiance, he said the musics they played was enjoyable and makes him vibing abit haha. the food that we ordered were also delicious, even he gave it 10/10 because its tender and delicious. recommended if you're looking for fancy fine dinning with good service and good food.

Our taxi driver recommended 4 places. One of them was Sardine. I visited all four. This was at the bottom of the list I’d say. Food was good. Service was good too but I felt that the vibe was just not comparable to the others.

AVOID! Severe Food Poisoning from Mixed Seafood Platter We ordered the mixed seafood platter for two for dinner yesterday. I woke up at 2am suffering severe stomach cramps and diaherra. This lasted all through the night/ early morning until I vomited most of the dinner at 4 am. I spent the rest of the day in bed trying to recover This is my honest experience and we will not be returning to Sardine in future - a restaurant that specialises in seafood. Try Starfish Bloo at the W instead.

Great experience, fun vibes and very unique decor for a nice night out! The restaurant itself is a bit of fun, constructed of bamboo with a covered outdoor feel overlooking the fields. There is a DJ playing chilled but energising music but it's perfectly done so you can still enjoy a nice social meal. The food was outstanding. You're provided with a selection of dips & crackers complimentary to start as well as an amuse-bouche to get things started. We shared the Ceviche and Trio of Tartare for entree. Both were fresh, tasty and decent portions. The Ceviche was a standout. For main we shared the Lobster Pasta (for 2) which was out of this world and partially cooked table side for some added flair. It was honestly amazing and I'd highly recommend it! We had a side of Pumpkin with Chorizo which could have done with a hint more chorizo as essentially just tasted like roast pumpkin. For dessert, the Manga Coconut Panna Cotta was definitely worth a try. Sardine is worth a visit for a romantic night out and the food is fantastic. Service was standout too, attentive at the right times without being over the top. Highly recommended.

For a complete fine dining experience this restaurant is the place to go in Bali. The staff are incredibly polite, attentive and accommodating. The tables are beautifully set with a nice evening view over a dimly lit rice paddy. The menu is predominantly seafood cooked in a modern way with plenty of Asian influence. All dishes were plated beautifully with the food delicate and delightful to the taste buds. Yummy desserts capped of a wonderful meal. Pricing is on par with the quality of the food and service.

This is one of Seminyak's "must do" restaurants. The attention to detail, superb presentation, quality produce and outstanding menu was a highlight of our holiday. We were delighted with the choices we made and the recommendations of the staff. The atmosphere is exotic, the vibe is tremendous. Preface this review with the fact that we only ordered starters. The reason being the mains sounded very boring and conventional. Started with an amuse bouch which was nice. The starters were all very interesting and very well plated - great attention to detail. Standouts were scallops, octopus, sardines and ceviche. Staff service was excellent with plate changes during courses. The ambience was very pleasant with a lookout on to the padi field with coloured lights. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

The best restaurant I had throughout my trip in Bali. It all started with a big welcome by the receptionist. My friend and I were seated under the big hut which is nicely decorated both at the bar and dining area. Waiters know the food well and are willing to discover and ask the chef if needed. No one can stop me but I had to give my compliments several times to my friend. The little details they did can tell they are aiming to be the best in the city. I will definitely return to there for more delightful gourmet.

Sardine, a beautiful experience. We returned to Sardine last night after 6 years to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary. Every aspect of our night was amazing. Service was attentive, professional and personal. Food was beautifully presented and tasted so good. Octopus entree and seafood platter for two were both generous and delicious. Passion fruit soufflé was a stand out dish too. Mood and vibe of Sardine is fresh and cool. DJ was playing great music that rounded out the immersive experience. Was concerned when we read some ‘poor’ reviews but guess those people chose the wrong restaurant for the experience they wanted. Sardine was worth traversing the island from Sanur. We’ll definitely revisit when back in Bali next year. Thanks to all the team at Sardine for making our night special.

Spent our last date night here in Bali at Sardine and was not disappointed at all. Love the service they provided, each dish served was amazing. Great atmosphere with a really nice view and music. We had the oysters, lobster linguine and creme brulee. Am recommending everyone who’s considering a nice seafood place to try Sardine! Do make a reservation here before you go, we were lucky enough to get a table when we walked in as we just happen to stumble upon this restaurant after our massage and it was almost full. Will definitely come back when we’re in Bali!

An absolute must if you are in Bali!! The flavors of this place are divine! Since they opened in January, I come here all the time, and I have never once been disappointed. My favorite dishes are the gratinated mussels, ceviche, and lobster pasta. I love the variety on their menu. It's not at all your typical, one note, boring seafood eatery. Every bite here carries complex, delicious flavors. Plus, the vibes are so much fun and inviting. They literally have had a dj every time I have gone there. Last Friday I even danced the night away here! Love, love, love everything about this place!

I have previously visited Sardine by K Club because it is located almost in front of the hairdresser and spa. The food is average, the service is friendly but not professional (it's not the same thing). The price is a bit high compared to other places like this in Bali. Well, yesterday my husband and I were supposed to meet a couple of friends at Sardine. When we arrived, they couldn't find the reservation at the reception, so I decided to call our friends to see if they were already inside or under what name the reservation was made. That's when I realized that my phone had run out of credit. I asked for the WiFi password, but they refused to give it to me. Once my phone was charged, I called my friends and we ended up going to Amici, which recently opened next to The Iron Fairies. It's a place with incredible design, electronic music, and live pop music. The food is excellent and they provide exceptional service from the moment you park your car. Never again Sardine. The light show is nice, but once you've seen it, there's nothing else that is appealing. Everything else is unbearable, especially on this beautiful island that is full of incredible restaurants. Beatiful location with rice paddy view. We ordered cocktails on arrival which we waited 20mins+ despite it being nearly empty with lots of staff standing around. The entrees were delicious and the highlight. Octopus and ceviche were excellent. We had slipper lobster linguini for main which the chef came out with. He torched the lobster which was pre-cooked, then mixed through with the pasta. Unfortunately, some of our lobster was undercooked. Seemed a bit over the top to present the food this way. Also, it was a heavy tomato-based sauce which meant the lobster flavour was lost. Disappointing for 600,000rp. Also felt like they were too pushy with the wine list. Far too expensive meal considering. Probably wouldn't go back, there are nicer resteraunts. For better value and outstanding food and service, you may want to try Sangsaka.

Had the all you can eat pasta for lunch, 250k PP. Wow, very delicious. Order in advance as the plates are small, but we had many many plates and many deserts. Beautiful presentation. But the only cooling is fans, but it's still pleasant.

Beautiful restaurant under a bamboo pavilion and next to a rice field. Very fresh food and quite delicious all that we ordered. Small portions though. The hamachi sashimi was amazing. The duck Bun bao was very juicy but the meat portion was only testimonial. We moved to have the dessert next to the rice fields... very nice place!

Food is insanely good, from the appetiser (grilled squid) to the dessert. One of the dish (coconut clams) was so good that we ordered twice! Managed to walk-in and get a seat facing the rice fields but would recommend reservation because it was almost full house. Overall hands down one of the best meals I had in Bali. Affordable in my opinion for the quality of the foood. Around 500k IDR per person for a LOT of food and drinks plus dessert.

There is so much to love about dining at Sardine which is somewhat outdoors dining while overlooking a rice field. Even more impressive on the evening we went, was lightening performance that lit up the Indonesian sky. I found that Sardine was a restaurant to simply take a chance on. Order things you’d not naturally be attracted to and order something different. At a restaurant like this where the Head Chef is French, you know it’s going to be simply amazing and for me, it was. Earlier in the day, I was trawling through Sardine’s Instagram and found a recent image of their new creamy coconut clams and concluded that I’d be ordering them despite never having had a clam previously. Yes you really do eat with your eyes. Not only was the presentation beautiful it was hands down one of the best dishes I have had in some time. The creamy coconut sauce had delicate spice and seasoned really well. It was served with a toasted piece of ciabatta perfect to mop up the sauce after you had finished. For my main, I took the advice of the host who had suggested the special which was four large succulent and juicy prawns, the biggest I have ever seen. They were served butterflied and grilled with chimichurri and beurre blanc accompaniments plus blanched beans, baby carrots and baby corn. We did order sides, they were equally amazing but we did not at all need them; the most tasty pomme puree (mash potato) full of beautiful butter and a zucchini gratin. Sardine is pure decadence and we had to be rolled out. Two things to be mind of; 1/ Ensure you use mosquito repellent. Take your own or use the one provided and use it frequently 2/ Service is super quick.
