I rate this place a 2/5 at best due to the quality of food, service and price to portion ratio at this restaurant. From a portion size perspective and a reference to gauge, see the image of one of the main courses costing 99,000 rupiah alongside the salt shaker. This compared to its competitors around the corner is almost 1/3x more costly. The curries we ordered were quite sub-par, I personally wouldn't go there again. It's likely targeting tourists that need a fix of Asian food while on their holiday but doesn't deliver quality. Furthermore the waiting staff forgot items off the order even after they noted it down, and repeated the order. These forgotten items only arrived once reminded and after almost 15mins. By this time your appetite is gone. My other recommendation is to split the bread basket and not have all the different breads/naans ordered all stacked up on one pile. This way we could not identify what was what, this becomes a massive issue when we have people with specific dietary needs. The owner also had a "we are always right" mentality which was not pleasant and unprofessional. Not a way to run a business. The ambience was great, it was nicely decorated but the lighting was poor.

AVOID AVOID AVOID - Absolutely shocking, disgusting treatment from management, all because we complained about the mutton curry being bitter and not tasting like a curry. I've had many a curry in my time, and this place is so far removed from an authentic curry that it's a disgrace to even call it a curry. The manager shouted in my face, threatened to call the police, locked us in, called my friend white trash and threatened to break my other ankle as I'm currently using a crutch, all because we complained and asked for the curry to be knocked off the bill as it was inedible. I would urge people not to go here, unless you like abuse and disgusting food.

Quantity of vegetables was almost same as that of onions served, pathetic way of making money. They should just increase thier prices and serve proper portions. Taste was okay.

Got the kadai chicken with garlic naan. The food was pretty good - the chicken had good spice and the garlic naan was really nice. Reason for the four stars was that I was the only person at the restaurant and they never once checked on me. I was seated outside and had to walk inside every time I needed something. Also the menu kind of didn’t make sense. Most of the dishes were normal priced but why is plain steamed rice 50k?

the best Indian food I have had at least a year, maybe longer. Can't think of better Indian food I have had anywhere. maybe equal but none better. in addition to the superb, authentic food, Punjabi Tadka also has great service and excellent ambiance. 5 stars all the way. Don't miss out on this special restaurant during your visit to Bali. Enjoy!

I ordered a half tandoori chicken which is priced at nearly 100,000 and the photo attached is what they sent me. I called to explain that this is not a half chicken and they put the phone down on me. Very unprofessional and also a rip off and rude.

Ordered Tandoori Chicken, but it was very salty with lots of lemon Juice making it lose its original taste. We couldn't eat it so asked to replace it with new one, to my surprise they served us same chicken again. Very disappointed to see such customer service. However the only good thing was chicken was soft and tender.

Thank you Himanshu for serving us the best Indian food in Bali. The malai tikka, pudina tikka, masala papad, butter chicken, tandoori chicken, dal makhni were all on point! The breads were warm and fresh. We visited here multiple times during our trip, it was that good!

This restaurant what quite a big dissapoitment. I love Indian food but the taste of served Tikka masala was very bland as if diluted. And the price for that was high considering quality and amount of food in small vessel. 2 Tikkas, naans, and 2 beers for about 400k. Would give 3 stars if price would be lower to excuse the worse taste.

The Butter chicken was ok but way too expensive 175,000rp for a few pieces of chicken , the samosa was quite good . The naan bread was not even authentic and very flat and rubbery . As for the service the girls serving were more interested in talking to each other. They Couldn't even take our orders correctly and had to be repeated a few times.

I ordered a mutton gravy, the mutton was soft and good but the Gravy was extremely watery and over priced. And veggie bullaw ( that was the only good dish ) Will not recommend for anyone not authentic Indian and 8 mins for the main course to come which states it’s not fresh And don’t order golab jamon it was over heated and lost it’s shape and no flavor what so ever. Won’t recommend won’t visit again I did not complain bcz the manager was not on spot or the owner so it’s not gonna go anywhere

First time experience of india's food and all incredible delicious!! Chicken tikka masala, chicken butter curry, mutton biriani all must try. Curry taste perfect with naan, their naan also soft and fluffy. India ice tea recommend. The price is fair with the good quality and food taste. Strategic place in legian easy to find. Recommended! Well done!

Lovely place for Indian food. We shared three types of Tandoori chicken and all had a beautiful variation in flavour. Chicken was incredibly moist and tender. And the selection of roti was perfect. Large servings.

The dal makhani was very good. The mixed vegetables were very spicy, I don’t recommend it. I really do not recommend the smoothies, they were very bad. The sizes are very small and very pricey.

Price is too much high in terms of quantity. Restaurant is indian but quantity is like Indonesian restaurant. Just a cup of rice like locals. Spent 32AUD. In Australia we get 3 times of the amount of rice u gave for the same price

Had a fantastic meal tonight. The garlic tikka was great and cooked in a tandoor. Also I asked for a thick nan and the waiter was more than happy to cater to our needs. Overall a great experience and good food.

Coming from the USA, I was looking for a good Indian restaurant. I stumbled upon Punjabi Tadka, and what a jackpot! The food was finger licking good, and the service made you feel at home. The restaurant was very clean and the music was great. I highly recommend the tandoori chicken and the chicken Tikka masala. Will definitely be coming back!

Throughout my 14 day stay, there were only 2 restaurants I’ve given a perfect score rating to & this was the first one! A very clean restaurant, great service & variety of dishes. Chicken Kadhai was one of my favourites as was the mutton curry. Chicken tikka was succulent as it was mouth watering & aromatic! Unfortunately I scoffed that down before I remembered to take a picture of it. Re: curries; I have a great tolerance for hot spices but today I ordered medium hot which was sufficiently spicy for my palate. Value for money and a great repertoire of dishes! A must try!

Good for vegetarians looking for spicy Indian food. The plain Naan could have been a bit softer but otherwise, the food was very tasty.

Good quality food and proper Indian taste. Indians must visit this place once. Punjabi chicken tikka should try here. Also, the green chutney they provide with tikka is tastes better than Indian chutney.

The best Indian food we had in bali. I must say if you are craving for good Indian food with authentic Indian flavours then this is the place. If you don't like spicy food then ask them to tone it down a bit

Post COVID the hotel needs some more energy and vibe, we went there for dinner but the vibe was very dull. The food was nice - ordered Daal Tadka, Dum Aloo, and Tandoori Rotis. But, the star for us was a surprise Strawberry Juice - very fresh and yum. Then we ordered a Mango juice as well, but it wasn't good.
