Pizza Zanzibar is so delicious!!! The portion is also quite big. I know the prices of food and beverages have all gone up but this is quite reasonable with the taste they serve. What I miss is the ice frappe as my favorite drink, but its not available anymore :( This is the first time I've come after the renovation, it's pretty good and still comfortable as it used to be, equipped with soft seats and cushions as well as music that isn't too loud to make me feel at home. The best time to come is at sunset time. The service is quite good and everyone who works here is friendly and polite :)

Strategically located along double six beach heading to the ocean, so it's perfect to watch sunset especially from the rooftop. There's a pool if you'd like to swim or just simply chill by enjoying their services. Ordered a bottle of white wine with my friends, it was served very cold, but sadly the waitress didn't service us entirely. We had to open the bottle by ourselves. Food was excellent, the baramundi fish was well cooked, complement with mashed potato and well seasoned salad. However the service was quite slow, either they have short of staffs or perhaps the number of customers are plenty. We waited for more than half hour for our meal.. Still I salut them by still practicing the safety protocol by always wearing masks and keeping the distance. Kudos for that.

Had the museli and truffle scrambled eggs. Food was quite delicious - portions not huge but still tasty and high quality. Sourdough bread was super yummy. Juice was the best one I've had so far in Bali and coffee was really good as well. Service was so friendly and the setting was really comfortable and calming. Lots of breakfast options and clean toilets as well.

This beachside cafe has been operating for years & the standard of good service & food has not diminished. Breakfast menu is substantial & the American breakfast is excellent & good value for money. Location is perfect for a stroll along the beach. Always a go to restaurant when visiting Bali.

Been here many times in the past and enjoy the food every time. Loved their Pizzas the best. This restaurant opposite the beach was the best Italian food in Bali before Covid. Sadly they had to get rid of the Italian chef due to Covid I am guessing. The young Balinese cooks been trying their best but food taste and quality isn’t what it used to be. I wish them the best and hope they will re employ Italian chefs to re capture the quality and taste.

The food is dissapointing, we ordered the pasta aglio e olio and penne pesto and both were lacking flavor. We also ordered the truffle fries which didn’t taste much like truffle (and had a lot of paprika sprinkled over it though that was not listed on the menu). As for the drinks, the lime squash was way too bitter and not balanced. The ambiance is great and the view of the beach is very relaxing (though not unobstructed), but the food and drinks leave you wanting more. It’s a shame, the reviews pre-COVID had our hopes up.

Best pancakes we have ever had - ridiculously huge pancakes omg omg omg nearly 5cm high 20cm long and 15cm wide $5.00 AUD approx. Teddy our waiter was just lovely and I really think you should go here and have the pancakes. We are going back for more!!!!!

An old establishment that is newly and nicely renovated. Facing the beach so you can feel the salty breeze. The place has two floors, on the top floor you can see the ocean view but it’s hot in the afternoon. The place is mostly italian fare. The Pastas and Pizzas are savory and authentic. The food quality has been consistent across multiple decades. The drinks are nicely mixed too, their teas, especially the mint one is refreshing.

Going back to the same restaurant after 6 years, 1st time when I went it was packed and had to wait, it was in peak season, September. Second visit was in non peak season, January, very few tables occupied. Ordered lot of food more than what we could finish. Food was v good except the mohito which we had to send back. There r lot of v cool restaurants on the beach front, with v good ambience and serving good food. But Zanzibar is definitely on the best and a must visit.

Loved it here. Clean, comfortable, good service, nice gelato and lovely latte. Looks like an impressive kitchen out the back as well. Could do with slightly better quality toilet paper in the gents, but let's be honest, if that's the only thing to complain about the place is pretty bloody good. Will definitely be going again, many times.

Had a laid back morning here and amazing bfast by the beach. The food was beyond good (price and taste wise, quality ingredients) the price is affordable. Service also good. Plus Point : pet friendly place, but please for all dog owner, make sure your pet to behave 🙂

The only restaurant where I can get perfect view of sunset just in the centre of Legian beach while enjoying special food. The restaurant is cozy and great place for catching up with friends and families. Pool on the second floor is kids friendly, so we are easy to watch them while we have a chit chat with friend. Prices are reasonable for the quality. We’ll be back!

I went to Zanzibar after so many years looking for a flashback and was surprised to see a different place and menu after a reopening… I was really happy to see that it will still be on my list of favorite places in Bali. I just have to say how great this restaurant is! Whoever the dinner chef is hats off to you. We went here at least 4 times this past week and if you want high quality food and great prices this is the place to go. I think as a family we tried 80% of the dinner menu and it was all very, very good. Personally I would travel here if you aren't within walking distance. Pool upstairs is a great addition. You can hire a towel from them for 10k/rp. They also have a shower you can use. Views are amazing upstairs also, especially at sunset.

The food was fantastic and a nice break from Asian food. The spaghetti bolognese was well prepared, the fish n chips tasty, and the grilled barramundi was delicious.

There is a secret swimming pool upstairs where they even have towels and showers for guests. Upstairs dining is perfect for a sunset dinner! Food was amazing too, with good prices!

Back in Bali finally and back to Zanzibar. This place has never disappointed over the years. This night I went with the barramundi with potato hash and salad. Everything was perfect, the meal the service the lovely staff the value for money. This is one of the places that I was so very happy to return to after a few challenging years for all.

In a nutshell very happy with the meal, service and ambience. After my last review of the Zanzibar Restaurant I received an email apology and an invitation to return. We did so in July 2023. We started with spring rolls and they were extremely flavoursome with a very interesting and unusually flavoured sauce. The ambience and service were again excellent. The road at the front of the restaurant is crowded with motor bikes but the road itself was not particularly busy. Roads in Bali are generally busy; it’s part of the culture and you learn that is normal. I am happy to announce both meals were again prepared and served beautifully. This time each meal had the flavour that it’s presentation suggested would be there. I again had the cotoletta parmigiana and Joyce had a chicken burger. Both meals were very flavoursome and I am happy to increase the rating to four stars. The service presentation and ambience were excellent last time as well so the increase from 3 to 4 stars is solely about the flavour of the food. A lovely restaurant set on the road overlooking the beach in the Legian region. There is an deck arrangement outside with large umbrellas to give you a view of the sea. Of course you have to look passed the road, traffic wall and stalls but none the less a nice enough ambience. There is also an ‘inside’ area but we opted for the deck. Un be known to us initially there is, upstairs, also a lovely bar with chairs and tables adjacent to a beautiful infinity pool probably 7m by 2m in size. Not a pool for swimming but rather to cool off and take in the awesome ocean view. The staff was very friendly and the menu sufficient. The food was not overly priced and when it arrived it was nicely presented with chicken, sauce, salad and chips. The main problem with the food was there was virtually no flavour. I’m not really sure how one does that but the presentation was nice, texture fine but no flavour. It of course may have been our selection but other than that The Zanzibar was a lovely place for lunch. We will probably go back there because everything else was really nice.

Updated their menu, staff are friendly,professional and so accommodating. Great food! I had the steak tonight and I must say it was absolutely delicious. Will always be a loyal customer and regular.
