Have been wondering about Theanna Villas since some years ago and finally had the chance to stay for 4 nights. And actually this is our first real Canggu experience as well. Too bad we did not explore a lot since we spent a lot of time inside the villa. But the location was (really) great, nearby everything. You can easily walk to top reviewed cafe/restaurants at Canggu Batu Bolong area. Beach is about 1,5km, so it’s nice to have a rented motorbike always ready. The room was clean and cleaned every single day. The room size is more than enough for a couple, big spaces around, and nice small pool. The only room problems for us was too many ants around the living room. The villa’s surrounding was nice with classic design. Public pool is located within the restaurant where you’ll have a very nice order-based breakfast + a glass of juice. Nice bamboo design as well. Open spaces everywhere and fresh air of course. Last but not least, thank you for the very nice services by all the employees. Nowadays, we have sometimes lost this kind of Bali’s friendly touch around, but Theanna have managed to do it well. Looking forward to come back here the soonest.

I and my partner stayed here for 5 days and it was the most memorable experience we had. It was my partner’s b-day and they made it extra special. We booked the suite and the pool with next to the 🛀 is just perfect for honeymooners! You’ll love it here as much as we do!

We had an incredible stay here. The rooms are beautiful and clean, the location is amazing - easy to get around Canggu on foot (they also have a free shuttle service), the food at the restaurant was excellent. The whole place feels lovely, relaxing and so quiet. One of the stand out things for us was the staff, they are so lovely. The hospitality was the best we've ever had. Excellent rooms and customer service. In a central location where walking isn't a problem. Covered scooter parking and security. They're genuinely excited and enthusiastic when they are asked for anything that will elevate your experience.

3 days was not enough. :-). We had a very wonderful experience from check-in to check-out! Theanna is a little off the beaten path, which is the way we like it -- close enough to the "touristy" stuff (beach area about 1.6 miles away) and far enough away to feel like authentic, traditional Bali. A very warm, inviting receptions staff. Grounds crew were wonderful, as was the Villa cleaning staff. Very sweet and attentive restaurant staff at Loop Restaurant, especially Putri, who had a lovely manner and infectious smile. The food at Loop was also very good food). We also found the Villa to just be beautiful... great vibe, lovely environment, really enjoyed to patio. All around, a great value and great experience. We'll be back!!

We have just finished a wonderful 2 day stay at Theanna, and wish we had booked for longer! The villa was perfect - it felt so luxury and yet was a great low price per night. Spacious, clean, great features and amenities, lovely private pool area, open shower and bath - it really did feel high end. The location is amazing, close to lots of shopping and cafes, but far enough away from the main road to be very peaceful and quiet. The staff were excellent too - polite, kind, smiley and attentive from start to finish. Very nice onsite restaurant and swimming pool as well, really good to chill out away from some of the more hectic parts of Bali. We will 100% be coming back to stay!

Everything about Theanna Villa is great. Private pool very clean and spacious. Rooms too are very big. No extra charges for drinking water. I really enjoyed my stay here.

We stayed in a private villa and absolutely loved our stay. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect, the staff were all SO lovely, the entire accommodation is gorgeous - everything is immaculate and so relaxing. We loved the location, it is far back off the street enough that it was so quiet and peaceful, but right in the middle of Canggu so very easy to get anywhere with amazing cafes and restaurants in easy walking distance. The spa was the best massage we had in Bali, breakfast was amazing, the pool gorgeous. Our villa was so luxurious for us which we weren't expecting, we loved the outdoor bathroom that opened out to the pool and the entire villa was a lot bigger than it looked in the photos. The price was very reasonable for the quality of the stay. We also loved the eco-friendliness of the villa, there were filtered water stations and many little things in the rooms with reusables etc, to be more sustainable. We were very sad to leave!

Incredible room with private pool. Everything is clean. Staff members greet you all the time with a warm smile. Location is perfect as we loved the walk back from the beach. Hotel has a shuttle service makes it easy to go around too. Recommend to stay here.

Right in the heart of busy Canggu. You wouldn’t know this was the case as these villas a set far back from busy noisy roads. Very serene and calm surroundings. The loveliest most accommodating staff. Clean rooms and facilities. Delicious food and coffee. This is the perfect place if you enjoy the busy Canggu area.

Such a wonderful place! My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights and had an amazing experience. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. It was great to have a private pool and not once did we hear our neighbors or the busy road that we were off of. I cannot express enough how friendly the staff were. They were so accommodating and kind to us. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and Cinta was our amazing waitress who served us every day. We would definitely come back here and recommend to anyone!

We had an incredible stay at Theanna for our honeymoon and my wife's birthday. Our villa was fantastic - spacious, clean and it was the small touches that made it perfect - daily cleaning including fumigation, an in-room jacuzzi overlooking the pool, filtered watered dispensers that we could access whenever we needed We also appreciated the warmth and energy from every staff member we encountered. It almost felt like a spiritual space, with how kind everyone was. A special mention must go to Putri and Sinta at Ketela Restaurant who both were genuine lights and brightened our days. We loved chatting to them every morning, or in the afternoons when we relaxed by the pool. Their energy and attentiveness truly made our stay special. They were incredibly accommodating to our needs, and we loved the small touches - including spelling our names in fruit with our smoothie bowls when dining. It was sad to say goodbye to them. We highly recommend anyone choosing to stay here. It's truly worth the money - what an experience. We'll be back!

We had a perfect stay at Theann Villa. The villas and restaurant are well set back from the busy Canggu roads and is quiet and peaceful. Our villa had a private pool and open bathroom and the rooms are spacious, clean and a very comfortable bed. The restaurant is excellent, has a good mix of western and Indonesian options and same prices as local places. We had the BBQ Pork Ribs more than once 😊 The best part of Theann are the staff. Very friendly and sincere in ensuring we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights on our honeymoon. Amazing hotel, felt more like a 5 star than a 4. Service from all staff was amazing. Breakfast from the restaurant was delicious. Great private pool and great main pool also!

Such an amazing hotel villa. The private pool which leads in to the open bathroom with the jacuzzi tub is so beautiful. The floating breakfast added a very romantic touch. Thank you to Diah and Putri for making our stay one we will never forget.

What a wonderful stay we had! Great location about 10min away from the best two beaches in Changgu (by scooter / can be rent from the hotel). Great room with our very own pool - perfecly cleanded every day! The real jewells of this hotel were the staff team. We always felt welcome and taking care of. Sadly we were just there for 5 nights - next time we will stay longer!

Beautiful villa from the moment we stepped in. The service from the staff were so amazing. They are full of smiles, with great attitude and they remember your name. The floating breakfast and the breakfast from the restaurant was delicious. My partner arranged for a wedding proposal with the villa staff. Everything was liaised via Whatsapp and it was so seamless. The place was nicely décor with rose petals, candles, a photo of us with a “will you marry me” lamp. Kudos to the team behind the décor and all the preparation including our dinner. You have certainly made this stay a memorable one. I would certainly encourage anyone to stay in this villa as it is indeed peaceful and relaxing.

The best accommodation I've ever stayed in Bali! The size of the accommodation was large and was managed very neatly. The staff are attentive and friendly. There was no discomfort throughout my stay.

Incredible stay and our best in Bali by a mile. This place has the most amazing staff, facilities, and restaurant. The food was brilliant, room was spotless and the villas are lovely. Quiet and secluded private villas, away from the main hustle and bustle of Canggu, but still close enough to walk if we wanted to. The hotel also provides a free shuttle multiple times a day which is really handy. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to visit busy Canggu but still wanting some luxury/relaxation

Theanna Villa exceeded my expectations! I came to Bali for my honeymoon and searched nonstop for the ideal accommodation. Multiple accommodation saves and research later, I stayed in a mixture of Air Bnbs and hotels throughout the island but Theanna Villa took the cake! The location is perfect- central, lined with restaurants, spas and shops outside on the street and it was safe. The resort itself is quiet, clean and picture perfect. They know hydration is keen and have water stations everywhere, and are constantly restocking the glass bottles in the rooms. But my favourite thing is the staff, they truly go above and beyond- like really do. They make an effort to know your name and celebrate your stay. For breakfast my smoothie bowl came out with my name written in it with fruit! My flight was at such an inconvenient time and they made sure I would arrive safely. All the villas were exquisite and the welcome was felt everywhere in the room- the towel animals, the flowers, the bath and the welcome drink! Thank you Theanna Villa

An utterly incredible and magical place to stay. The rooms are like apartments with a private garden and pool. The service was incredible, the food excellent and the spa luxurious. I cannot understand how this is listed as a 4-star hotel. We travelled on to two 5-star places afterwards, and just wished we were back here. Book it, you won’t regret it!

We spent 4 nights at Theanna and I could not recommend staying here highly enough! The customer service is unbelievable. Staff are so friendly and accommodating, helping with our luggage, helping with directions, and always making sure we were happy with a ‘Good Morning!’ every morning. Putri was our waitress at our morning breakfast which was included in our stay - the breakfast is UNBELIEVABLE. We both chose something different every day and were never disappointed. I highly recommend the breakfast package with your stay. Our villa was so beautiful and clean. Far more spacious than the pictures make it out to look and very very private. The villa has multiple water filter stands with healthy, clean drinking water. We were very impressed. There is also a shuttle bus that runs multiple times a day which was a huge perk of staying here. We cannot wait to return to Bali and stay at Theanna again. Fantastic location in the heart of Canggu and value for money. Would highly recommend to all. Thank you to all staff! ‘Suksema!’

A solid 4 for overall experience. Great service from every staff member. I received a warm reception despite checking in late. Thank you to the kind gentleman who helped me with my luggage to the room on the first night. I especially liked how everyone greets me with a smile. To Ketela restaurant, Good job for preparing fresh and delicious food all the time! Thank you, Putri, for your hospitality during my dinner and morning room service. I didn't give 5stars to the room because I think there's room for improvement. Perhaps try to remove the mould in some spots, check that there's no broken hanger(s) that all appliances are working fine.

We have stayed here for 4 nights and we loved it. The location is about 20 minutes walk from the beach but there’s plenty of shops, restaurants, cafe and massage places around. Or the Villa are so nice you can just stay and enjoy your time at the place. Breakfast was included and you can order a la carte plate and on top of that, you have a small buffet area with fruit, bread and salad. All staff here are so welcoming and very helpful. A lady called Putri at the breakfast was there everyday and looked after everyone so well including us. Thank you so much for looking after us xx

Fairly new hotel with various room decor. We stayed at Royal Aine, which is bigger than the other cheaper rooms and has a jacuzzi. The parking area is enough for 8 cars. Spa is inactive and require advance booking since therapists are outsourced. My advice for the management is to put a lamp on the desk since at night that particular area can be quite dark and not suitable for working. Overall, it’s a nice hotel if you’re visiting Canggu.

I really love this hotel. Very beautiful Villa! With those price, this villa is definitely underrated. Good bedroom, good bathroom. Good food!! I really love the Restaurant. The food is really nice and the staffs are friendly. I think it will more awesome if: 1. Providing slippers since we are in a villa with outdoor area, not having slipper is truly a hassle. 2. The food is really nice, but for the sop buntut and bolognese you can put less sugar. It will be perfect! I really recommend to try their Mie tektek because its delicious and we love it so much!

Helpful and friendly staffs. They promote contactless initiatives during the pandemic. Great place to relax and immense yourself with the tranquility. The spa facilities is great. A click away from batu bolong beach, nice for surfers. A nice touch of bamboo architecture in the lobby and restaurant. Definitely will stay again.

Like it to stay here, it's near the canvgu beach and batubolong beach. The place is quiet, and comfortable. I'll give it 5 star if the room well maintained. The mirror a little bit dirty and need to be replace, but overall it's great to stay here. If I going back to visit bali, maybe i'll stay at this hotel again.

Best bathtub by far of the hotels in canggu. Very nice bathroom. Quiet location. The staff are very helpful and kind. I would stay here again. The food was mediocre, would not eat again. Fixable downside, the Google or go food/gocar map does not correctly locate the hotel. Overall a top hotel in canggu.

Amazing place to stay in Canggu, the villa are gorgeous, the staff is amazing and breakfast are incredible. Is only 20 minutes walking from the beach and extremely quiet. It was my first time in Bali, traveling by myself. I recommande this place for sure !

Beautiful rooms, excellent service from all staff, and a great location. The beds are very comfortable, and were the best we experienced in our 4 hotels in a recent Bali trip. The food at the restaurant is great, and there are also a lot of great spots to eat nearby. The hotel offers a free shuttle around Canggu at various times, and one day we were walking back a couple of hundred meters from the hotel and the shuttle driver saw us and stopped for us to jump on. The service overall was excellent. Highly recommend this place to stay in Canggu.

We can not fault this place at all. Excellent service from every corner, The food in the restaurant, the spa, from check in to check out everything was what we expect plus more. As a couple over for holidays we found it perfect. 10000% recommend

Very nice hospitality. We stayed hikari villa. It was very nice. Always keep unlimited water bottles unlike many hotels in Bali. Even 5 star hotels like Radisson blu provide limited drinking water per day. They also arrange scooter for us at market rate. 70k for old vario and 80k for new one. We took new one. Really liked the flower trees all over villa and even inside. When we wake up there will be lots of flowers around the path and inside villa from the trees. Breakfast is also very good. Unlimited fruits and one main course we can choose from the menu. If we ever visit canguu will definitely stay again and will recommend this to all our friends. For welcome drink, I liked the concept of giving welcome drink voucher which can be availed in restaurant anytime. They also provide snacks along with welcome drink.

If you’re after a little privacy while still having communal areas, impeccable location, perfectly designed room and honestly the most incredible service. You have found your place. Could not recommend a better place to stay in Canggu!

Stayed here for 3 days and it was nothing short of amazing. The villa was quaint, clean and nicely designed, and most importantly, the service staff were awesome. They were helpful, friendly, polite and they made our stay such a lovely one. Every evening, they would drop by our room to help us set the bed and let down the mosquito nets so that we can get ready for bed at night. Super thoughtful. The villa’s massage services and floating breakfast were very good too! Only room for improvement is that some of the walls in the garden space have a bit of algae growing due to the water from the pool, which is understandable. But perhaps cleaning it up more frequently will improve the aesthetic a bit more :) Nonetheless, will come back again! What a lovely place!

Don’t even know where to start! Staying at Theanna was the highlight of our recent trip to Bali, it was our 2nd visit & only better. Beautiful villa, nice pool, great breakfast but most importantly the excellent service received from all team members from front desk, restaurant, house keeping, driver and reservation team. On last day I left my passport in the room, front desk staff called the driver on our way to airport, he delivered my passport on his scooter & coordinated the pick up point with the driver (half way to airport) It was beyond his call of duty & we would have missed the flight given the crazy traffic in Canggu if we were to turn back to hotel. And I certainly don’t think anywhere else in Canggu would do the same if we hadn’t stay with Theanna. Would definitely recommend this hotel & will only stay there for our future visit!

My partner and I stayed here for 6 nights and the experience has been nothing but absolutely recharging. We stayed at the Royal Aine villa. The place is so peaceful, and the facilities are very well kept. The staff keep the public spaces impeccable, and we had zero issues with the room. The service and hospitality was very warm and welcoming consistently throughout our stay. You can rent a scooter for cheap to navigate around Canggu as well. Finally, the location is close enough to all the beach clubs and restaurants that even booking a Gojek will not cost you very much. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to recharge, but also access all the restaurants, beaches, and cafés to see in the Canggu area.

We had a great experience at Theanna. It’s in a great location in Canggu. The staff are so lovely and the villa was beautiful. They also have scooters available for us which saved us the hassle of finding one. Would highly recommend staying there!

The location is amazing! They were so nice and organised a free flower arrangement on the bed and in the bath for my Girlfriend's birthday. The people are so lovely and accommodating making our stay extremely pleasant. The rooms are big and spacious with a really big bed, I would say it was a super king bed. They also do scooter hire and will help out with anything needed.
