Can only comment on the massage that I’ve gotten here. I visited Amo spa after reading many great reviews, but left feeling slightly disappointed. The service was great, and you’re able to choose from a wide variety of massage oils which was nice. I also liked that my massage started with a hot stone to warm my body, and the cucumber face mask. The quality of the massage (rejuvenate me) however didn’t do much. It felt more like a relaxing massage than something that has more pressure and relief according to the description of their site. The massage rooms are also not separated fully and I can hear voices from the next room. For the price, I would’ve expected more privacy, and a better quality of massage.

If you’re looking for a quiet place to sit and work in the heart of Canggu look no further. The only cafe I can think of that ensures peace and quiet. The jacuzzi and sauna are also top notch, and ice baths are well chilled. Only room for improvement is to be closer to where I live! Wonderful and considerate staff. Ownership should be proud of what they’ve built so far.

Best SPA in Canggu “hands” down (massage pun intended). Quality staff and skills, great service, and even the cafe coffee and food is decent. A standard visit everytime I come to Canggu, and you should give it a try too. 💆🏻‍♂️

Probably not for treatments that requires more technique. Came for a pedi, french mani and hair colour. Pedi was fine, but the French mani process was rather tedious. Was surprised when therapist asked if it was ok when the white lines were crooked and uneven at best. The fixing process was like having drawn an eyeliner poorly and you had to do over it, which resulted in a thick white line instead of the expected slimmer white line (see final pictures of post fix with therapist). Rather speechless that this had to be explained to the therapist. Probably use a small brush like other therapists for more control right from the start, instead of trying to paint the lines with the bigger nail polish brush which is just messy work. Hair colour process was okay, the colour turned out nicely. No ear caps provided so you get dye on your ears and parts of your forehead. For haircut, hairdresser only shortened the length of the hair and did not do anything else other than cutting straight across. Not sure if there was a communication breakdown as one would expect an overall trim in general to balance out. Overall process and hairdrying technique was outdated, probably needs some training. Otherwise staff were all professional and friendly, eager to help and venue is a plus.

Me and my husband came here for an hours couples massage and it was so good, you got to pick your own oil and we left feeling lovely and relaxed. I saw it was also a beauty salon so returned to have my nails done and the girls did another fantastic job. Hundreds of colour choices, you won’t be disappointed.

My boyfriend (reluctantly) came here as his previous haircut somewhere else was only 140k, and here it was 236k. But I urged him to stay and try, because overall it is still not “expensive”. The experience and results were absolutely worth the extra money. From the time they seat you with a cold cloth in their comfy lounge with an offering of infused water or cold ginger tea, to the moment you leave. Even the lady downstairs at the reception was helpful and professional. His stylist, Aloy, was so professional, patient with requests, and skilled. He listened carefully, and checked in often to confirm if it was right. My boyfriend felt so relaxed and at ease in his chair, and really enjoyed the multi step process of a wet cut, wash, blow dry, dry blending, head message, and a style. He said it was the best haircut he’s ever had. I even enjoyed sitting in the chair and watching!! Would definitely recommend him to any guy who doesn’t want a fade or typical barbershop look. My man looked so good after 🤤 Thank you!!

First time there and walked in to friendly service. Was warmly greeted and explained all their different services. Had a wonderful massage and afterwards had a wonderful lunch at their cafe.

Incredible, detail-oriented establishment I got a gel manicure and polish pedicure. The staff made me feel very comfortable and always asked if I was okay with their work. Iluh did an amazing job on my black french tips and Ayu gave me the best pedicure of my life. They offered me a drink (ice water or ginger tea) and also offered a delicious banana chip snack. Each manicurist took their time to make sure my nails were perfect and were lovely to work with! I will definitely be back for a facial or a massage, and will recommend to others

For the price I would’ve expected a better quality of massage. The manicure, they charged me more because I had SNS on, but the lady who came to take them out she had no clue on how to do it. She was filling my nails with the machine until the SNS came off. I screamed when she burnt my finger nail. If you want to charge extra, that's fine but at least they have to know how to do it. And pedicure? Well, see the photo one day after. I would't mind to pay more than AUD$100 but I found better places for a cheaper price.

This experience was exceptional. after weeks of traveling, this place healed me from inside out!!!! facilities are super clean and the staff’s attention to detail made me feel so taken care of…they had trouble understanding what i was asking at times but it was clear that they enjoyed working there and were willing to help at every corner. I was also really impressed at the quality control of the sauna and cold plunge. highly recommend the facials too….was worried bc i have sensitive skin but the facialist listened to my concerns and was gentle yet highly effective….still seeing the effects of just one facial on my skin after weeks. the crowd leans instagram heavy but for sure AMO is a MUST

Came in late night today for a last minute manicure & pedicure - the reception was accommodating in securing a slot and made sure to communicate clearly that only the express mani padi service is available and colouring only if it finishes early. The staff worked as a team and were great in ensuring a wholesome experience. Iluh, the therapist was also very skilled and precise in manicure. Overall a great experience, 10/10 will recommend!

Super happy wit the manicure and I even got my hair washed there. I will definitely come back for a pedicure. The people are super friendly and very attentive. Unfortunately, I have to update my post. After one day, the gel on one nail already is gone. 😅

This is my favourite go to spa in Canggu it’s fabulous with so many amazing treatments on offer. Check it out for yourself but you should probably book because they are popular. My favourite treatment is the hair cream bath which includes a half hour head massage.

December 3rd, 2022 I spent my awesome day in Canggu. After my breakfast and sightseeing around Canggu and Berawa, I needed to pamper myself, so I  stopped at AMO spa for a massage. Located in the center of Canggu, I feel like I'm in New York. The interior design looks like an apartment in Brooklyn, New York, because it is full of brick walls. I took a half an hour foot massage, they gave me many choices of oil and I chose warm and fuzzy cause I love cinnamon ❤️. The therapist was friendly, and the massage was very good and made me fall asleep. There I love the smell, I asked the staff and she said it's aroma from sweet orange. I spent around IDR. 200.000 for 30-minutes foot massage, it's worth it for the best experience that I had ❤️👌 Ah ya! Not just treatments, they also have sauna access. We can pass Sauna (pine Swedish Sauna), Steam Room, Ice Plunge Pool, Foot Reflexology Pool, and Jacuzzi. Seriously, I'll be back to using the Sauna Access.

sooo, I had a facial at Amo, and of all the options I chose the most expensive one, which is done at Amo Suite - it’s truuuuly a premium service and a completely different level of facial treatments, the best in the world and the best I have ever tried really!They do this facial with special equipment, with a bunch of different devices…with steam, vacuum, spray, and I don’t even remember everyth, but the feeling of skin and clean after the procedure is simply unreal!! I feel like I look a few years younger and ohhh God I highly recommend it girls!

Hands down my favourite place in Bali! The best Saunas, ice baths, steam rooms and massages. Salt water pool is delicious and the food and service is fantastic. Can’t fault anything. Just do it. Buy the monthly membership and 5 days use covers the monthly membership fees.

It was great! We both liked it very much. My masseur “Edy” was excellent and catered to my needs, was very helpful and was even able to release a tension on my back. He was very attentive and always looked out for me whether I was in agony because of the pain with the tension, I was thirsty or wanted additional massaging spots. I did the body, head/shoulder/neck & foot massage with Edy. Thank you so much for the great 4 hours I had at this place, so far one of the best massages I have received in my lifetime. Would definitely recommend and will also come back if time allows it. My Kudos to Edy – also to the entire team. Great facility, very nice staff, very local (the guards are opening you the doors – what? That is amazing).

I read in previous reviews that the staff was rude, luckily I didn’t experience this. Everyone was very welcoming! I had a pedicure which included a small foot and neck massage plus they give complimentary drink with a snack! Definitely coming back! Location is amazing :)

I adore this place. The staff is so accommodating, kind, and gentle. I came alone on my birthday, and they surprised me with a birthday cake. I felt so special, and it was the best birthday I’ve ever had! I got a full body scrub and massage; both were amazing. It is such a great place to relax and a great place to treat yourself. I feel so lucky I was able to go and have such an amazing time here.

Review of cafe. I love this cafe. The cappuccino is excellent, affordable and good size. The small cappuccino 30k is the size of large cappuccino other places. The breakfast and bites are also tasty and affordable. While everything else in Canggu is so very expensive….

Excellent place! Decided to get my nails done early in the morning as I was still feeling jet lagged and wanted something to do. Came in when it opened and luckily they had a spot for me - my husband also had a massage whilst waitng for me which he enjoyed. I found the interior very cool and staff super friendly. Had a great gel manicure and pedicure!!

Not so great message. Suggested by the villa owner, with their special message method and decent reviews I was expecting a good massage. I was unfortunately disappointed. Massage was very soft, too much oil and the masseuse changed location every few seconds. A bit of back, a bit of arms and a bit of neck. Without much technique or skills. Loud talking Russians (apparently nobody told them to be quiet) topped it off. Price 330k/hour better spend somewhere else..

This is the second time I've had massage here. Still my best massage. When they start massage, they gave me a hot stone for a few minutes, then massage and also put a cucumber mask on my face, and they wipe me with a warm towel to remove the oil. This is so much fun. I'll definitely come again next time.

The service and experience was great. Their staff were very helpful and friendly, we were also given a wide range of massage oil to choose from, would recommend Wild From Heart oil! The only issue I had was that the massage didn’t gave me a “wow” feeling. Like it didn’t rejuvenate me after the session. Haha. That being said, we like the fact that we were given cucumber mask, very refreshing for our face, and also they wiped down our body with warm towels to remove the oil.

It’s an interesting spa place. Everything worked great and if you’re lucky you’d be having a sauna session with sunset view. Massage was worth the price and amazing relaxing scent in every corner. The ice baths were a bit too small to my liking. The fireplace and beanbags were nice too. I’d be a regular if only I lived in canggu full time.

Amo is really nice place and spacious. First floor for restaurant and second fl for saloon. All staffs nice and friendly. I cut my hair with Rudy the hair stylist. He is highly recommended. He is very nice and communicative. He knows exactly which style looks good with your face and age. I ended up with coloured my hair and had menicure with Pipin who's did a very good work with my nails. I love all the result and highly recommended this saloon.👍👍

Came for a quick coffee pitstop due to a sudden rain shower, and then found that the toilet facilities were interesting with a selection of delightful hand lotions to choose from. Highly recommend to check them out. Service staff were very attentive, and the place has a very relaxing charm. There were a Spa and Sauna services on-site too... including IV Therapy on the menu. Interesting! Haha

went to amo spa and suite, it's really nice place! good service, they checked my skin with magic mirror before treatment. then i picked the make me beauty facial! it left my skin super soft and plumped up. It only took an hour and there was no redness afterwards. i like how the therapist carefully put the cream and they use gloves, really clean and feels so nice. recommended👍
