Visited Fat Mermaid on a Thursday evening. They had decent food, affordable cocktails and pretty interior decor which made it very instagrammable. That said, the main highlight of our experience were the acoustic live band and impeccable service. The customer service provided by one of the staff, Ayu, was amazing. Ayu gave good recommendations, checked in from time to time to see if everything was alright, and even made sure to remember our names. Her great service definitely made the night better. Overall it was a great experience at Fat Mermaid which I'd recommend visiting, especially when there's live band too.

Western-style restaurant with various menu. It’s designed as an 2-stories open space restaurant. The 2nd floor gets pretty warm in the noon, but you can cool-off at the first floor as it have air conditioner. The design of the place is very tropical and colorful. Perfect for the beautiful sunny weather! They have various menu promo, when I went there they offer free coffee menu for an all-day breakfast order, and a free dessert for a certain bill amount. I ordered a mushroom toast breakfast menu and it was huge! Taste very fresh and baked sourdough is crisp which I really liked. It’s about IDR 75k My friends ordered a vegie fried rice (psych! It’s actually fried cauliflower) with tempe satay. While the idea is great, it taste pretty bland for me. Definitely would visit the place again, and I have! If I could share a few input, maybe improve the Indonesian menu a bit for locals as well?

The staffs were very friendly and welcoming, feel so comfortable dining there. So many instagrammable spots to take pictures. But the food was not the best tho. My fried chicken was a bit too dry and I can taste a bit of burnt on the chicken skin. But the drinks were nice

Wow! Can’t rate this place highly enough. We spent 18 days in Canggu and we ate there practically everyday. The food was incredible and such a diverse menu yet everything was great. The staff are unbelievable, so friendly and the type of service you would get in a nice restaurant in Europe, or better maybe. The prices are really reasonable too. Great for brunch/lunch/dinner/cocktails and some nights they have comedy and live music. We can’t wait to go back.

This place serves good food and drinks, provides very good customer service and they have different bands/music scheduled from Wednesday to Sunday night. The food is so good we ate here almost everyday while we were staying in Canggu. The people are so nice and the service is very personable. The musicians are very great as well. Best place to relax at the end of the day. We tried breakfast and lunch here too and everything was fantastic. This place is walking distance from the beach. Highly recommended if you're in BatuBalong Canggu area!

Beautiful spot for a scrumptious bite and drink, the team are very attentive and helpful- super quick service although it was quite on our visit. I had a simple salad and watermelon boozy cocktail and it was perfectly light, filling and refreshing. They have a range of events on Thursday- Sunday from acoustic sessions, open mic comedy night and drag queen bingo- can’t wait to come back and join in. Recommend if spending time in Canggu. Lots of Insta worthy moments inside.

This place is fantastic. Ordered the ribs, chicken and waffles, and Indonesian fried rice with chicken satay. Everything was delicious but the ribs were next level. Highly recommend. Service was prompt and friendly. This place definitely punches in above their 4.6 rating.

We tried this restaurant our first night in Canggu and it was delicious , we went back multiple times. Price compare to the high quality food was really good. All staff was extremely friendly, a shout out to the staff Luigi (what a legend), Yulia and Ayo. We could feel the good management from Agus. Food + Sevice make this an amazing restaurant. Recommend 100% this place.

Really good restaurant. No idea why but it was dead as a doornail which is a shame as its such a great space. Definitely recommend the half rack of ribs, really tasty and filling.

This is a lovely restaurant! The staff are so friendly and helpful. There is loads of choice on the menu and the cocktails are gorgeous! It’s great value & the portions are huge. I would definitely recommend the bacon & cheese fries they were delish!!

This is a lovely restaurant, with the tropical design and decorations next to the field. I enjoyed the food. But I think the chicken wings could be a bit saltier to contrast the flavor of the sauce. The staffs are really friendly, especially Joy. She gave me a lot of recommendations about the activities I can participate in Bali. We even become friends after my visit. All in all, great experience!

Breakfast is SUPER noice! There's a jungle on the wall, with twin monkeys and get this... they're pink. It's like the best promise a cafe could offer in terms of service and man the girls smells way better than me (and I shower everyday, sometimes THRICE!) 😛

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I came here back in 2019 before Covid and have been dying to get back for the Happy Tangy Mojito. I went back today and everything was exceptional. We ordered the Avo nice day with added eggs, serving size for the price was generous, beautifully presented. Hash browns - yum! Chips are so good and the aoili is to die for. All the drinks were beautiful, the iced mocha was a stand out. Coffee comes in cool little cups. Staff were attentive and friendly. Will 100% return and recommend this restaurant to everyone. Amazing restaurant in Canggu with their beautiful interior and extensive menu. We love their juicy tender glazed pork ribs and chicken roullade. The cocktails are pretty and refreshing. We definitely enjoyed our visit at this establishment

Nice place in Canggu, parking lots on the side. Warm welocome from staff. Great decor and unique interior design. Menu offerings consisted of both western and indonesian. We order a salad, chicken wings, surf and turf a better than Mojito, cappucino and the ice cream lava dessert was really delicious. The place has ample of space, 2 stories of great dining area. Will highly reccomend this place.

While cruising back from the beach we've found this very new restaurant. The architecture and interior design is amazing. They care about every little detail like the look of the menu and food for instance. We got water for free with several refills and they offered mosquito repellent to use (but we didn't saw any at lunch time). Food was very good and the coffee also. Good choices for vegetarian as well. The music was a tiny bit too loud for my taste. We got 15% discount due to the recent opening. Will come back!

After waiti g 25mins for our food to arrive, they saaid Oh Sorry the kitchen did not get the order. We were the only two customers!!! Way too many staff, and look at their signature dish, discusting

Really good coffee they have, i ordered a cup of cappuccino, and its really good. The food is delicious, though price is a bit high but its almost normal in these region/area though is higher than most places. The atmosphere and place is really unique, its one of the unique photo shoots i would say, small compact place but really well decorated. Service is great, they are polite and friendly
