Stayed here for 5 nights in December. The place is well maintained and clean. My room was great, all the expected stuff like outlets near the bed, good sheets and towels, nice lighting, free water bottles. Room had a fridge and air conditioning unit. The A/C in Bali isn’t quite what the western world is used to, but for a single unit for the room it did as well as it could. The rooftop is lovely with tons of space and open chairs and beds. The hotel food menu is good, a mix of western and Indonesian cuisine ranging from 40-150K. The staff are super nice & helpful. Easy to message them on WhatsApp for a room cleaning or have a delivery brought to my room. Great location right next to beach and tons of restaurants and cafes nearby. It’s definitely loud outside at night from motorcycles to fireworks to live music, but that’s out of the hotel’s control and the insulation is decent to lessen the noise. Overall for a beach centric Canggu trip I would recommend it!

The staff at reception are very kind and welcoming. But this isn’t a 4 star resort. It’s a 2 star resort. It’s that bad we checked in and checked out within the hour and requested a full refund. The manager didn’t accept this request at the start asking for us to compensate one night of payment too them as they held the rooms for the week we are meant to stay, which I refused as the rooms were sold to us on booking.com as a beautiful resort but in real life it doesn’t look like the pics so we should be compensated for them wasting our time, a full days travel, taxi costs and now the headache to find a 4 star resort. The rooms were clean, but they smelt. We went to the pool bar to find new accommodation before we broke the news to reception and it took them 45 min to make me a drink and there was no one else there. Washing dishes, and doing general duties was more important than serving me. The pool deck, and viewing deck is falling apart with timber beams lifting, holes in the floor, nails sticking up out of the deck. I couldn’t allow my 2yr old to run around without being scared she was going to hurt her self. We went and broke the news to reception it wasn’t to the standard as advertised and meet 3 girls there from Australia with the exact issues we had were also demanding a refund. I feel for the resort as covid has impacted hard, but this resort pictures online would of been taken 10yrs ago with a highly edited photos to make it appeal to you online but it’s far from. To make matters worse booking.com are near impossible to talk to when overseas. All calls, email responses are in Indonesian so no one can understand and now they won’t refund the stay for 10 days. Aston beach would be a 2 star accommodation facility. They need to adjust there room price stays according.

I've never experienced a more welcoming and friendly hotel. Every member of staff was so helpful, kind, and genuinely interested in making sure we had the best time. The rooms were clean and spacious enough, shower was hot with good water pressure, and the breakfast was nice. The pool was great for when we wanted a quiet day, and the location is unbeatable. I was so sad to leave the beautiful people of the Aston, but I'll be back!

Great location with beautiful views. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are so spacious and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was incredible with so many tasty options. Nita was so sweet to us and would check in with us everyday to ensure we were enjoying our stay.

The staff were incredibly beautiful, kind and hospitable. They were so accommodating and let us leave luggage there whilst we transferred to another island as well as letting us stay the whole day on our checkout day. The rooms are clean and well maintained, the pool lovely, the breakfast buffet delicious with a wide variety. The hotel is also in an amazing location about a 30 second walk from the beach. Could not recommend more highly :)

Beautiful sunset views from rooftop terrace. Just go steady with the cocktails. We ordered Long Island teas which came in what looked like goldfish bowls, 5 different shots + mixers, nearly had to shovel us into our Gojek taxi 🤪

We stayed four nights in the deluxe lagoon view on the ground floor, in the quiet area… the room was clean and had a huge bed and soft plump pillows… the roof top pool area has great views of the beach to watch a sunset or hundreds of surfers… breakfast was included and had all the staples one would expect…. Location is great and an easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and places to hang out…. The staff are very polite and helpful and we enjoyed our stay.

My new favorite hotel in Canggu. It's literally steps from Old Man's, and you can just go up on the roof to see what the waves look like. Amazing location. Rooms are not overly luxurious but tastefully appointed and sufficient in every way. Same goes for the restaurant, I went to eat because they gave me a coupon, and was surprised by the quality and value. Normally I wouldn't waste stomach space because there are so many good restaurants around but the rooftop rivalled in every way (and had a better view). Breakfast is also good. I wish they had bacon but I get why that might be difficult. This hotel is maybe 2x more than my old "value" quick surf stay, Frii Echo Beach. I love that hotel too, but I think I will find myself at Aston Canggu for future trips. It's worth the upgrade.

I stayed here for 5 days as a solo traveler, and would absolutely stay here again. I found the value pretty good, which is why I could afford to and wanted to stay 5 nights. Breakfast buffet is pretty diverse with both western food, Indonesian food, plus an egg station. Really love the pool with ample seating (even though the deck & facilities are visibly old), the proximity to popular places around town (lively corner), and the fact there’s ice cream open until midnight right downstairs and just outside. Super quick easy check in & was able to do laundry twice during my stay (24-hour turnaround). The lighting in the room is ambient & beds are pretty comfy. ATM’s and 2 mini marts right across the street. Live music on Friday nights & sunsets are great from the rooftop

This hotel was absolutely wonderful. The pool overlooking the ocean was clean without being overpowering chlorine. The breakfast was amazing everyday. the staff was helpful with the reservation after I found my booking wasn't done how I thought it was (messed up on Expedia not Aston). The staff were all friendly. The bathrooms were very nice with a large roomy shower and fresh towels. I did find myself wishing they had smaller wash towels for showering vs just the hand and bath towels but it was so minor it didn't bother. The beds were firm and great for sleeping. Any outside noise was from other tourists as it is a heavy tourist area and wasn't unexpected. Overall one of my favorite hotel experiences by far. We will definitely stay again on return trips.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is excellent, just a block off the beach and the surfing is right out front. The beach is walkable in both directions and there are plenty of bars and restaurants all around. The resort has a rooftop restaurant and breakfast is a huge buffet with tons of choices that rotate on a daily basis. It's 75K IDR net which is a good value for the area. I found plenty of vegan options. We had a couple minor issues with our room which were addressed quickly by the staff but otherwise the room was good and we would definitely stay here again.

Despite the convenient location and proximity to Batu Bolong beach, unfortunately, X bar is located across the road. This seems to attract noisy, drunken patrons who also loiter at the mini mart across the road. Rooms are clean and functional but a little dated. UpZscale Sky Dining and Bar had good, well priced dining options. The pool area was clean and provided a great view of the beach.

We had a great two-night stay at ASTON Canggu during our honeymoon and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area. Great location close to some awesome bars and easy beach access. The breakfast buffet had a diverse offering to choose from and the view was spectacular! Thank you for greats service and hospitality!

Had an amazing time here. My 4th time staying at this amazing hotel and as usual never disappointed me. All the staff members are very helpful and delivered amazing service. Walking distance to the beach and plenty of nearby restaurants as well. Breakfast buffet also amazing and delicious.

Great service and memorable experiences. (Couple visit) We were on honeymoon trip in Bali , stayed at Aston Canggu for almost a week. We are so impressed at first arrived , staff at front desk are so friendly especially Mr. Joshua and others. Hotel offered a voucher for food at the hotel (if you stay longer than 5 days) We got a quite room area as requested, locations is convenient, closed by the beach for surfing spot, as we surf everyday early morning , many good restaurants around and definitely food at hotel were delicious and quick served. Room cleaning always perfect everyday. You can rent the motor bike and had laundry service offered in a reasonable price. I got sick one day and reception offer the doctor to visited me in the room, great service and feel safe to stay at Aston. Definitely come back to stay in the future. Staffs and services make an amazing experiences.

Perfect location - just a 5 mins walk from the hotel to the Batu Bolong beach but what makes it extra great are the staff. Very friendly, attentive and kind. Room is clean and spacious and not dated as some of the reviews mentioned. My fav spot of the hotel has got to be the rooftop pool, offers the best view of Canggu, and away from the crowd. Would come back again to stay here.

Excellent central location in Canggu with a short walk to the beach. Hotel is a little dated but has all of the necessary features. Rooms are perhaps a little small. Rooftop pool and restaurant is a great feature of the property and the breakfast buffet is good quality.

I can not fault the Aston at all! We stayed here for 12 days and I was a very very happy customer. The location is amazing, it’s soo close to all cafe/restaurant and beach clubs. The hotel itself is great, the rooftop pool has such a great vibe with an amazing view. The food and drinks were spot on but best of all, the service was out of this world. The staff were soooooooo kind and very helpful. They are the reason I will go back and stay at the Aston again. Highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel deserves 5 stars. I have no complaints, I had a fabulous stay. Staff was AMAZING, They were so kind, and so thorough. This hotel is so close to the beach and a great location close to lots of restaurants and shopping! I am so impressed, thank you for an amazing stay!

Hotel was nice with a very new and clean room. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Stuff is 110% good. The rooftop was cool to hang out and get a great few on the sunset and the waves. Was not new but everything very clean. Only thing what was negativ was the loud street at night. Loud motorcycles. But not the hotels fault.

Well appointed & clean rooms, the staff were warm and helpful both in the reception and the restaurant. The location close to the beach but also handy to shops and dining. Overall a great stay and would thoroughly recommend.

Great location - very close to the Batu Bolong Beach, Old Man's, The Bench, etc. Nicely done up, clean rooms with all basic amenities. Helpful, courteous staff. Good breakfast with a decent spread.

Love love love this place! The hotel was just 100m from the beach and along the walks of eateries, pubs & shops. The rooftop area with pool had gorgeous views of the beach and surfers. Buffet breakfast has a good selection of local & western food. Rooms were super clean & with a balcony as well. Would definitely return to this place soon.

Can have louder music playing on weekend, it stopped before dark. Was a great vibe at rooftop pool and bar. Fantastic location close to beach. So many great bars, restaurants and day spas within walking location. Absolutely recommended if your staying in Canggu.

One of the very best places!! The best view from the rooftop bar, where you can have an awesome all inclusive breakfast as well until 10:30. The staff is super nice and friendly and they also have a pool on the rooftop. Especially Eddy served well! He knows the guests and is very dedicated to show his best side. Keep it up and see you later this year again 🙏!

A really nice hotel with strategic location (only 2 min to Batu Bolong Beach) and amazing services. The staffs are also very friendly and super super helpful! The room was clean, although we needed maintenance for the leakage from the sink. The wifi and phone signals are quite low here, but other than that it was excellent!

My husband and I stayed at Aston Hotel Canggu for 2 nights, April 5 -7, 2022. The hotel and its furniture is already old. The room is quite big and clean. We got a connecting room so at night we could hear noises from other room so we couldn't have a good sleep at night. In the morning we had breakfast. The taste of the food is plain and standard, there were not many food choices. Therefore, we did not order any other food from the hotel. However, the restaurant staff were nice and polite. We were dissappointed by the manner of the Front Desk staff. They were not so friendly to locals. However, the porters were very helpful. Anyway, we will not going back to stay in this hotel in the future. One time is enough.

Stayed for 2 nights this week. Service - impeccable! Initially, we were assigned the room right in front of the lift, which would be facing the Main Street. Fortunately, our request to change room was accommodated when we immediately went down to receptionist after seeing where our room is located. The staff were always smiling and greeting you, making sure you will be able to find someone for assistance if required. I asked for extra towel upon walking into hotel lobby (after a swim in the sea), soon the towel arrived to my room. Amazing! Praises to the service during breakfast too. Room - very basic but spacious. Toilet Door and door handle looks musty and dirty, I will always clean my hand or sanitize before touching my stuff. Strong shower pressure and consistent hot water. Location - very convenient and near to the beach. Walkable to plenty of shops and restaurants. Hate the loud music and people shouting outside mini mart or a restaurant right opposite the hotel. Not the hotel’s fault but it’s so disturbing for guests who want to rest at night. Price - alright given the location and convenient. Will be more attractive if there is better deal. Breakfast - average taste and buffet offerings, thankfully there’s omelette live-station and fresh fruits. Beautiful restaurant and view to have breakfast. Overall, hotel need upgrading work and maintenance.

Clean, comfortable and the staff were really helpful. Breakfast was great too! They also have an underground carpark so it was super easy for us to park our rental car. The location was also excellent as it was only 200m away from the beach. We walked down to the beach and took a surfing lesson. Super convenient! Overall, we had a very enjoyable and delightful stay at Aston Canggu.

We have totally enjoyed staying here. The staff have been fantastic. The beds are so comfortable and the location to the beach is great. We would love to come back here again. We asked for a quieter room and the staff were more than happy to get us a different room the very next morning. We also really enjoyed our breakfast, which was included in our deal.

Excellent hotel for the price. Lovely staff, good rooftop bar/pool with pretty decent prices. Room was nice and the wifi good. Location is top notch. Beautiful views from the sunset. On my birthday 4 staff members came to my room and sang happy birthday. It was a very nice touch. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing location close by to great cafes and restaurants, the staff are beyond welcoming and friendly. Great pool view. Overall best deal for the price you pay, only down part is the management need t change new towels immediately, all towels are so old and have stains on them plus it might be a bit loud at night

The rooms and general hotel maintenance made this not the best experience. The mould is crazy and really impacted on me. The pool on rooftop is beautiful but there are no umbrellas which I find crazy. Breakfast is a huge buffet but mostly open to the elements and people touching so not sure how safe it is in such a humid country. Not really the most looked after hotel I've ever been in.

Great place to stay. Located right down the road from the beach and old mans. The bed is massive, super king. The room size is great. The staff clean it everyday. Great buffet breakfast. Nice rooftop pool. Loved it here!

The staff were helpful and breakfast was great. Good experience. But just curious about ingredients in the food, especially how do you source your eggs? I’m an ethical vegetarian, I hope it doesn’t come from battery cage farms cause it’s a horrible system and I hope your hotel doesn’t support that!

We had a great stay at the Aston! From the moment we arrived the staff were very attentive, welcoming and friendly. The room we had was on the 3rd floor with a view of the ocean. Bed was fantastic. The only criticism was that the fridge wasn't cold?? Buffet breakfast was good, fresh and great selection. But by far the kicker for us were the terrific staff, they really made it for us. A shout out to 'Rista' in the rooftop bar who was always smiling and on for a little chat. It made us feel right at home so Thank you very much.

Beautiful place to stay with some gorgeous views. The food was delicious. Walking distance to pretty much anything you need. Grab scooters are just out the front if you are looking to go somewhere further than walking distance. Not far to walk to the beach. Some great places to eat and drink nearby also. The staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly. Really enjoyed my time there

Lovely hotel, treated ourselves to a bit of luxury on our last few nights in Bali. Rooms are huge, nice big waterfall shower. Toiletries provided. Huge comfy bed. Fridge and tea/coffee facilities and safe. Hairdryer too. Staff replenished bottled water everyday. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, treated us as VIPs as soon as we got out the taxi. The bonus of this hotel is the rooftop pool/bar. The views are amazing and the food/drink very reasonable. Can always get a sunbed. Breakfast is included and there's loads of options, just more orientated at local Balinese/Asian breakfast. Can order eggs however. No improvements needed, amazing hotel metres away from the beach/Old Man's bar - our balcony overlooked the bar and it was so well soundproofed and with earplugs we slept very well!

Great location. Very clean. Beds huge and comfortable. We ate at hotel because the food was delicious. Staff we very accommodating for the large group we were with. We booked through the whats app and they sent a link for payment. Nice pool area on roof and cocktails were lovely. Room service was an advantage when we were a bit puffed. Bought beers and water across the road for our little fridge. Room serviced everyday. You need to book rooms towards back as a bit noisey at night from street. Great restaurants and shops on doorstep. Will stay again.

Everyone has been so lovely and welcoming! Every time you walk past an employee they always without a doubt give a smile and a hello. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need and the cleaners always do an amazing job. The location is really nice, with an awesome view of the ocean. The food is really good, especially the breakfast as they’ve got a lot of dishes to choose from so if you don’t know what you feel like, there is bound to be something to eat. I can’t remember names of the staff, however everyone is amazing & all of them should get recognised for their hard work!
