We
hadn't
made
any
reservations,
but
the
staff
kindly
asked
us
to
wait
at
the
bar
for
a
brief
period,
which,
to
our
relief,
didn't
extend
beyond
10
minutes.
To
kick
things
off,
I
ordered
a
mezcalitta,
and
it
was
nothing
short
of
amazing.
The
smoky
notes
of
mezcal
combined
with
the
refreshing
elements
of
a
margarita
created
a
delightful
concoction.
One
aspect
that
caught
our
attention
was
the
diversity
of
the
menu.
It's
not
often
you
find
fajitas
on
the
menu
in
an
authentic
Mexican
eatery,
and
that
left
us
a
bit
intrigued.
However,
we
decided
to
go
for
the
tacos,
and
we
made
sure
to
ask
the
waitress
to
confirm
that
they
were
prepared
with
corn
tortillas.
We
opted
for
a
selection
of
six
different
flavors,
and
the
variety
was
impressive.
In
my
opinion,
the
standout
was
the
Al
Pastor
taco,
with
its
bold
and
savory
flavors.
On
the
other
hand,
the
pulled
chicken
taco
was
a
bit
lackluster,
and
it
didn't
quite
meet
our
expectations.
While
the
food
was
decent,
it
was
the
overall
ambiance
and
drinks
that
elevated
our
experience
at
Lola's.
The
mood
was
lively,
and
the
mezcalitta
definitely
played
a
role
in
enhancing
our
enjoyment.
In
all
honesty,
I've
had
better
tacos
at
other
places,
even
as
far
as
Bali.
However,
Lola's
offers
a
unique
blend
of
Mexican
flavors
and
a
vibrant
atmosphere
that
can
make
it
a
great
choice
if
you're
looking
for
a
fun
night
out.
If
you're
more
of
a
traditionalist
when
it
comes
to
Mexican
cuisine,
it
might
not
fully
meet
your
expectations,
but
for
those
seeking
a
lively,
casual
dining
experience,
it's
worth
a
visit.
