Lovely place and vibe. Never seen or heard their presence online but was very busy on a Saturday night, and that speaks volume. Had a lovely girls dinner, wine was great, food could’ve came a bit faster but didn’t mind the wait. For our last night in Canggu we decided on Billy Ho and it did not disappointment. After spending our honeymoon in Bali visiting Ubud, Uluwatu and Canggu this was by far our favourite meal. The food was incredible and our waiter helped us decide on some food options as we just couldn't decide as we wanted it all. Everything she suggested was gorgeous. Lovely atmosphere and exceptional choice on the menu. It was the most expensive meal we had in Bali but it was absolutely worth it for our final dinner. A must visit for a special evening. If only we'd of gone sooner we definitely would have gone back for a 2nd time!

We got recommended from a local friend and I’m so glad we tried this restaurant out ! A Japanese fusion restaurant with very interesting menu.we’re lazy so we had the FEED ME set menu (550K/Pax), every single dish hit the spot and it was 10/10 delicious! I’d come back FOR SURE.

Wow, I was pleasantly surprised by the attentive service and the food here. I have passed by a few times and the place didn’t look like much with a row seating outside up on the street edge. The reviews had been high so it was such a good decision that I give this place a try. The ambiance inside was so nice and relaxing. The food was delicious and nicely presented. The cocktail was ok. There’s a decent wine list.

The food was sensational. We ordered some incredible sushi. And our small plates and large plates were also great. The service was amazing. Even as we arrived at 2150 on a Sunday night. Fantastic wine too.

For my birthday, I requested a side-by-side seat, and they not only accommodated but made the entire experience seamless. The security even helped us park our scooter – a thoughtful touch. The scallop and prawn dumplings were a taste sensation, fresh and soul-satisfying with the divine sauce. The chicken lollipops were a hit too, and we couldn't resist ordering the char siu pork belly along with another round of those irresistible dumplings. Although we were happily stuffed, the waiters surprised us with ice cream, a candle, and a sweet birthday song. Thank you for all the staff! 👏 Billy Ho's attention to detail and superb dishes make me happy on my birthday night . Can't wait to return for another delightful experience!

You will not be disappointed here! Came here near the end of December. The service was great, staff were friendly and ready to come to your rescue with their recommendations. We picked out some we were excited to try! I fell in love with the Xiao long bao and the burrata with tomato and grapes! We had an amazing dinner and we indulged in many many small plates! Gotta come back to try the mains the next time we visit Bali again!

Restaurant was not good for sushi/sashimi. It’s possible the cooked food is tastier. The sashimi was not cut well (pieces of filament and other stringy bits) and the rolls were mediocre. We had the sashimi selection, the crunchy roll, spicy salmon, pickled mackerel, and oishi sushi toro with wasabi cream. We also had one cooked dish which was the water spinach and it was not particularly tasty. Most expensive meal we’ve had to date (~765k), and the most disappointing.

The renovated room is gorgeous and warm. The food tasting was excellent across the board. Such a great variety of dishes to choose from and with generous portions wasn't able to try everything that our eyes caught, so definitely need to come back and try more !

I had a very nice dinner at Billy Ho tonight. The setting is beautiful with a nice welcoming ambience. I had high expectations on the food after all positive reviews and I was not disappointed. The scallops where tasty and the dumplings were full of flavour, I loved them! I'm leaving Bali , but I will come back and Billy Ho is definitly on my restaurant list for next time.

Amazing dinner experience! The super rich and varied menu is incredible. But the execution and bringing to life of the same is another level! So tasteful, flavoursome, so many textures and colours, so many mouthwatering tastes. Absolutely loved it. And the service was outstanding, taking feedback on too. Can't rate it high enough!

Had the tasting menu but was quite disappointed. While the portions were large, the execution lacked finesse. The starters were fine, skewered lacked depth of flavour, roast chicken had a nice char to it and was probably the best main. Char siew was only average. Great ambience though.

We stumbled upon this restaurant while walking at Batu Bolong, or otherwise known as the centre of Canggu where all your restaurants/bars and shops are located at (plus walk to the end and you'll reach Canggu Beach!) The experience? 10/10. Food was delicious, especially the Chicken 'n' Crab Sweetcorn Xiao Long Bao (Rp 80,000), and the Chilli Prawn & Pickled Crab (Rp 120,000). The Beef Chop/Tartare was a bit iffy for both my partner and I, but perhaps it may take an acquired taste to appreciate it. The taste in each dish is always complex, you would be able to taste a mix of maybe sour, savoury, sweet depending on which dish you choose. But service is top notch, food was served on time, and the staff would ask how the food was. Vibes were immaculate, especially when you come in around sunset timing where the light shines really beautifully in the restaurant. Do note though, if you get Still Water (comes in a bottle - Rp 66,000), it costs a lot more than Warm Water (which comes in a pot - Rp 15,000) so I suggest getting warm water! Overall, price may definitely be more overpriced than other eateries in Bali, but definitely will be cheaper than eating at this standard of restaurants back in your home country.

Not only is there a nice atmosphere at Billy Ho, but the food is worth a sin 😉 a great appetizer - crispy and refreshing, it was a preview of some nice dim sums, the meat lollipops introduced a cheeky street food atmosphere, and sushi - one of the best I've ever eaten! At the end, the matcha dessert satisfied even the biggest sweet tooth 🙂 I heartily recommend it!

Will Meyrick's newest restaurant, located at Batu Bolong Canggu. The restaurant is easy to find, the place is not to big nor to small. The food concept is asian with a modern twist, I was dinning with 3 of my friend. Menu selection was was good as we were explained that all of the menu is good to share so we choose some from sushi, sashimi, appetizers, salad, and main course. We've go through of the menu course by course, the food was so nice a bit of kick of the chillies and it's full of flavors. We also went trough with the dessert menu, we choose es potong and dragon fruit cheese cake. We felt in love with the es potong but a bit to sweet for me but still we loved it, as for the dragon fruit cheese cake we were expecting a slice of cake but it was a plate of de constructive cheese cake. Taste wise was good but I though it was missing the dragon fruit flavor, but it was ok. We were not to explore the beverage as we were only order mocktails. Overall it was a great dinner and we'll be back. Just to recomend to reserve a table just to make sure you'll get a table.

Fantastic dumplings, best I've had for a very long time, the tartare also very good with a unique touch of smoked makrel in the bed of dip the tartare sits upon. The sushi roles on the ordinary side, the tempura a touch oily. I did enjoy the tamarillo duck. A solid 3.5 star. Not worthy of 3 so gets bumped up to 4.

The chef, Will Meyrick , has truly outdone himself with his unique take on Asian fusion cuisine. Food was good and well presented but overpriced. But if you have limited meals in Canggu and prefer more unique or local food, this should not be your top choice. We opted for everything to be served together and 1 order was missing. The missing order ended up at the end of the queue and only arrived much later when everything was finished. Unfortunately one of the large plate (pork belly) was not warm as well which made it less tasty for sure.

This restaurant came highly recommended- so glad I visited on my last night in Canggu. Absolutely delicious asian focused dishes, service is very warm and cocktails were on point. Definitely would suggest checking Billy Ho out- you won't regret it!

My fav restaurant in Bali. Highlights: - smoked eggplant - sesame squid prawn pork toast - spicy tornado salmon roll - Peking duck Not forgetting the delicious cocktail - I recommend the nashi pear gin-based cocktail. The portions are hearty and you will leave feeling stuffed for sure.

Great Restaurant with delicious food. I had the salmon tornado, the prawn dumplings and the pork belly main dish and every dish was an experience! The service was quite attentive, maybe even a bit too much for my taste, but never rude. Would definitely recommend. Just know that the portions are small so youll need at least 3 dishes to be well off and its pricey. I see people complaining about that, but thats the kind of restaurant this is. If you want to experience something new than thats the place, if you want to get yourself stuffed then there are delicious warungs around you can check out for 1/10th of the price.

Deliciousness!! We came here last night for dinner and were blown away by the flavours! We had a variety of small plates, sashimi & nigiri & dim sum (which were a little flavour explosion)! Cocktails were also great, wish the wine list had a bit more on it but apart from that would 100% recommend a visit.

This is a asian fusion rather then japanese izakaya. Place is lovely and interior is fun. Service was super informative and kind. Cocktails were well balanced. What was disappointing is food. Spices were out of control, snapper sashimi was extremely salty and whole seasoning combination left bad taste in my mouth, eggplant in tahini sauces had too much tahini and texture vise was not pleasant to eat, prawn and scallop dumplings were allright, but the sauces they were covered was not refined and overwhelming for seafood. Chicken skin and mash was the only dish that had a great seasoning balance, but then again its chicken and potatoes. This place needs to improve a lot in dish taste, not only presentation, to keep loayl customer coming back.

I came in for dinner after a friend had recommended the place to me. After we were seated, the lady explained that it was a food-sharing concept...meaning you order a bunch of stuff to be shared amongst your friends. Sort of like tapas. The menu was Asian fusion...a bit of Chinese/Japanese/Korean. We ordered the Octopus Kimchi to start, the Steamed Grouper and Black Angus Beef as mains, and the Trio of Rice to share. The Octopus Kimchi were way overseasoned...from the very first bite it was unbearable salty. The Black Angus Beef was a nice idea...the Yuzu and Eggplant balanced out the Beef, but the flavors were so strong that after one or two bites I had enough. The Steamed Grouper was decent and Trio of Rice just ok. Determined to end with hopefully a nice dessert, I ordered the “Es Krim Potong” (Block of Ice Cream). It came with layers of Roti and it was definitely a generous portion. However when I had a bite, it was definitely NOT ice cream, it was a block of cold chilled cream-like mousse-like something, the consistency and texture was not to my personal liking. Overall the food was not suitable for my palate. Perhaps it was really intended for foreigners who are looking for a one-stop-get-all-the-asian-flavors restaurant.
