Surfinglessons depends i guess but a normal price is 400K (privatlesson). Yes, its true, there are many surfers in the water.. CHILLING There are enough beds, they cost 100 for 2 beds and a sun umbrella. Some are 50 if you sit in the back. The sand is really hot so wear flipflops. And i can be really crowded. FOOD At the beach they sell ice cream (guys walking around) and enough drinks. Food and supermarket at the parkingspot. *Parking costs 2000 per scooter. TRASH There is a downside.. a lot of trash in the ocean, coastline and beach.

One of the better beaches with a clear sunset view in Canggu! Drop by at 5pm to secure some seats on beanbags with just a purchase of a drink at the multiple cafes, and watch the sun go down by 6pm. The further down west you go, the quieter it is and the better the view. We took a walk everyday that we were at Canggu by the beach and were able to enjoy the sunsets by the sea.

Here you may find some things to do, such as, massages, beach chairs and umbrellas (50k for a day), different kinds of souvenirs, drinks (30k coconut), board rentals (50-100k), surf lessons (350k), live music, and other entertainment. The location is incredible, locals are super friendly and most of them do speak English. BTW, there are a lot of great surf school here, personally i chose Lokal surf school due to a recommendation from a friend, and it ended up being a highlight of my bali trip! This beach, definitely not the worst but also , definitely not the best. So much tourists ( mostly from Australia ) go here just for hangout , or enjoy beach , or surfing. Still like the fact that this beach is having more "Bule" instead of local tourist.

My newbie impression is that the waves here comes more often and has a longer line before it breaks. The height of the swell is higher than kuta beach i think. If going for a decent morning walk don’t forget to check the tide charts otherwise you can quickly get stuck in certain spots as their is a few causeways that open up onto the beach and lead into the ocean- these can be dangerous so take care. During the day there is lots of merchants selling arts and crafts, as well as loads of places to rent a day bed and grab a cold drink to enjoy the day. Evenings are best to arrive around 3:30-4:00pm, get a spot bring some cold drinks, snacks and enjoy the sunset, Sandbar often has live music playing into the evening also. Just please take your rubbish with you and place in a bin. Must visit when in Canggu!
