Do not stay here! Read til the end. They are undergoing renovations so it is very loud, and no nice view. The pool area is very squished and backs onto the revonavtions with no lights at night time. We had dirty bedding, dirty brown stained towels, they only gave one pool towel and randomly on the third day gave us another bath towel. They also took our soap, didn’t replace it and left us with no toilet paper. The toilet leaks every time you flush it so the room smells like poo and despite the smelly fragrance packet attempts to cover it- they couldn’t. On the last day someone came into our room and stole all of the money out of my handbag and cleaned out my partners wallet. We checked out and didn’t realise until we had left and went to pay for fuel and noticed that despite having just got cash out- there was not one single cent remaining. Could not have been any more disappointing. I have never left a negative review in my life, but this place was horrible.

5 mins walk to beach. Excellent hotel with clean and sea facing rooms. The breakfast was simple but great. Fully recommend anyone who wants to stay the beach.

We had a room 2nd floor with great view. The room is great, very big and with aircon. But we had to wait more than 40 mins to get into our room, although we booked the room over booking. The light at night around the house and at each balcony is not necessary.

Pretty below average for the price range, not sure why they're trying to pass this off as a 4 star hotel on Agoda/Booking, it's 2 star at best, and overpriced. The bed was comfy enough, but the bathroom smelt of sewage, the sheets smelt of anti-odor spray, and I bailed on breakfast after it didn't show up after 25 mins, pretty sure it was going to be bad. The rooftop pool is a nice touch but it's literally just a pool on a trash-covered roof that smells of melting tarmac.

Last time I will stay here after having a bag stolen from my room by housekeeping! I had left a bag behind containing some dirty laundry which included a very expensive shirt and a few t shirts. I was only gone half an hour before making a phonecall back to the hotel and being pointblank lied to and them denying the bag ever being there! Besides from this they are always cheeky with bike rental prices and try to scam you charging extra until they realise you're not stupid. I will not be staying here again and I would recommend you stay somewhere else as these people cannot be trusted.

I liked the location, in a calm street but very near to the beach and main streets. From balcony you can see beautiful sunset. Room is cute. Chairs on the balcony are very hard and so comfortable to seat, I would suggest to change them to some more comfy options 😊 We couldn’t find the socket near the table where the kettle was…

Nice & clean rooms. The staff is very friendly. The shower had hot water & the room had good A/C which are always a big plus in this part of the world. The hotel didn't have any special view, but the price was good. Location was fine since there were some nice restaurants in the immediate area and it was a quick walk to the beach. It was a bit awkward to have have pool in front of the hotel lobby, but it didn't really matter since you're not on the beach or have a view of the sunset. By having drinks or a meal, you can hang out at any of the ocean-front hotel bars/restaurants and save your about 80% of the nightly room rate! I would give 3.5 out of 5. The only thing is the price agaist the quality of the accommodation. All is good, the stay was ok, no issues, but sometimes is the cleaninness of the place and also they should repair the place once it is low season. I highly recomend staying on the last floor of the place, as you are getting nice sunsets. The villas are nice as well, but they should clean the pools better as the water is ofter merky.

Too expensive when you see the other places around! Room was clean but not the fridge… Bed had some points which were not so nice for this price! It’s terrible hot in the room when die AC is not running so ask for one more room card to let them run.

We stayed at My Villa Canggu for a month in December and it has been amazing. The team there are incredible and will go above and beyond to look after you. The location is perfect - 400m from the beach which we walked to barefoot many times straight from the hotel. You’re also right outside some some lovely cafes! Our breakfast was included in the price which was delicious and to top it all off we had frequent doggy visitors from Chloe and Bobo! Thank you for looking after us and making us feel at home 💚

Great Location. Great price. Cleaning staff are awesome. I feel amazing here. Beautiful pool. So many restaurants nearby. AC is my best friend coming from minus 20 in Canada. Amazing view with a balcony. I'm not very picky but I really enjoyed the location the most. Quick walk to the beach where we could surf everyday.

Really quiet location in the general madness. Lovely staff, immaculately clean hotel. Pool at reception is a bit strange but I suppose it had to go somewhere. Road goes down to a quiet bit of beach, nice couple of varied restaurants within a few yards. Close enough to get to the beach parties but far enough away to not hear it all night.

This place was amazing. The rooms were clean and the AC worked great. They provide water and straighten your bed everyday. The rooms have a mini fridge and comfortable beds. They have two pools, one on the first floor and one on the roof. The one on the roof has a great view, but only has 2 chairs. The staff was super helpful. Edu is wonderful and will help you with anything he can. He went out of his way to help us get a motorbike amount other things. The location is great, just a short walk to the beach with tons of restaurants around.

We booked for 2 nights until we realised the accommodation didn’t suit us (too far away from friends). Although the booking had a no cancellation policy, when I requested a cancellation it was approved with no questions asked. We were even offered an upgrade at no extra cost. Based on customer service, these guys get my nod.

Booked the superior balcony room and had a wonderful stay here. My favourite part of staying here was the location! Everything is so close to My Villa & Resort in Canggu. The staff were lovely and very helpful. I got breakfast included in my booking and really enjoyed the smoothie bowls & pancakes they served. I am returning to Canguu next month and have booked a room here as it is such a convenient spot to stay.

We had booked for 4 days at the base, but ended up staying 14 days. The staff are lovely. Always ready to help and smiling. The hotel is very well placed between the beach and the lively area, yet quiet. Good value for money. A real delight. Thank you again.

Friendly and professional staff. Excellent location...close to quality restaurants and beach. Quality motorbike rental service. Loved the rooftop pool with sweeping views of canggu the mountains and beach. Housekeeping and cleanliness first class. Only improvement opportunities would be having Bali coffee and an Expresso coffee machine availability for breakfast and softer pillows and Wifi booster for upstairs rooms. Definitely recommend staying at My Villa Canggu.

We didn't get the room which we booked. They said our villa was overbooked, which is weird since we made the reservation in September. They forced us to stay in 2 studio rooms for the first night. In first instance they wanted us to pay the same price as the villa we booked but eventually, after arguing, they gave a small discount. The next day we moved to the villa, this also happened an hour and a half later than which they promised us. They gave us a different villa as we booked, it was a UNFINISHED villa. the water was not running properly. It took us 6 instances of complaining at the front office until they finally agreed to check the water pressure (which was not in good order). We had a stain on our blanket, we found a cigarette in our shower and some in front of the room. This was also weird, since they mentioned we were the first who stayed in this villa. That the villa was unfinished became more clear since during the first day, without notice or permission, some people entered our villa to measure the walls, windows etc. The kitchen was not in use, the stove was still covered in plastic for example. Also, it didn't have any kitchen equipment. Although the pool was big and nice, it came with two dead crabs inside. When we moved to the villa from the studio room, we accidentally left a branded cap in our room. We realized it just a couple hours after we move to the villa, but the staff did not inform us, or come to the villa to give back the cap until we asked if they have it, sketchy huh. The last day, the villa next to us got new guests who thought it was a good idea to celebrate new years on the 4th of January. They kept up partying and igniting firework until 4 am. It would have been nice for the hotel to remind the neighbours they have people surrounding them. All with all, not worth the money and better look for another place to stay.

Good location 5 mins walk to a nice beach. Friendly staff. Clean and large room with powerful shower, comfy bed and pillows and nice balcony. Only a small ocean view - was expecting more from the listing name on air bnb. Pool is right in front of reception and by car park so you don’t want to hang out there. No one at reception when I checked out so had to leave keys on desk. A bit overpriced compared to others and bearing in mind the above.

Expensive and uninteresting, it was a really bad choice. We couldn’t even get a key for both of us, the WiFi is really poor, the swimming pool is on the road with no privacy and the breakfast is disappointing when we see the price of the hotel. We went to Serenity after which is much more interesting and a better value for money.

Stayed with family for holiday. We enjoyed villa with 3 rooms, garden bathroom and private pool in front of the rooms.comfortable bed, spacious room, friendly staff. Negatif things are : No dust bin in every rooms, no floor mat in each room and all bathrooms. The food was not good enough. But pancake is OK.

I stayed at My Villa hotel for a week and I loved it so much, that I decided to come back to Canggu before leaving Bali to stay at this hotel for 2 more days. - fantastic friendly and helping staff - 2 great swimming pools - clean rooms - amazing view from premium balcony room - if you leave alone, you get 2 breakfasts - breakfast is really good - location is great I will come back no doubt!

Very good price and quality! And the most important the hotel is really quiet besides is really near to the center of Canguu. The beach by walk is 5 minutes. The rooms are clean. And the late check out price is really generous.

I don’t know how anyone can rate it at four stars. Rooms are tiny bathroom the size of a pantry and when you shower you get to wash every part of the room down. The place is very noisy not much thought went into sound proofing but a lot of that were other tenants.Also a large rat tried to share our room we got rid of him because he hadn’t paid. We were booked for three nights but left after the first. Back packer accomodation at best.

We experienced this place during a lockdown so it was probably very different to usual times but it was quiet, we shared a pool with one other couple. It was a few mins walk to the beach. The staff were helpful, if they weren't at the desk you can reach them on WhatsApp. Cleaners came daily & we had bedding & towels changer once during our 9 night stay. They also offer scooter rental at 60k-rp per day. Room was a good size with good AC, kettle, desk, shower & bath, wardrobe & big glass windows/doors with heavy curtains.

I travelled the whole island and this place was overpriced. No shower curtain in the bathroom, so the floor just floods. The roof top pool was stagnant!!!!??? It had a thick film on it. I was clear about thing I was unhappy about yet nothing was taken seriously.

Lovely stay. Not the biggest most fancy place, but the rooms are clean with a nice rustic touch. Service is amazing, especially the concierge with accepting deliveries and communicating. I only took one star off because half way through my stay the wifi became slow but I spoke to management and they are fixing that ASAP. Location is perfect, short walk from beach, good gym, and night life. Can’t go wrong with this place. The staff are an absolute pleasure.
