Friendly staffs, usual Bali standard😉 Location is perfect as you can walk throughout the whole stretch of road and find lots of nice cosy cafes for breakfasts, and really good restaurants for dinner. Also close to the beach but it is mainly for surfing activity and not safe for swimming. We booked for 2 nights but slept only 1 night and left the next morning after booking another accommodation. We were unhappy and surprised with our room as the condition is highly questionable hygienically. We booked standard bungalow with pool view, it is the first room as soon as you step into the villas compound. Right in front of the pool. Toilet condition was the most surprising for us as it seems like this room aren’t meant for paying guests/tourists like us? Toilet seat and toilet bowl looks aged, faded, disgusting to say the least, and we tiptoed each time we had to go into the bathroom. Sink was clogged. Walls and floors look unscrubbed for years. Mattress/sheets and pillows were dusty, we had to sleep a night with one door unlocked because there were no keys given to us for the side door. I took a chance to walk around the villas area, and I think our room perhaps is the oldest one for this business, as other rooms deeper inside (garden view) looks pretty new and more inviting. I feel like our room should not be put up for booking as it is not clean and the space is not suitable for paying guests. Despite all that, we enjoyed the pool and peaceful morning here. Just hope they can consider closing this room specifically for maintenance or upgrading.

The place is barely maintained, most pictures shown on websites are 5 years old. Cheap price but I wouldn't recommend it.

Lovely place where we spent three nights with breakfast includes. The staff explained to us that they just reopened after 2 difficult years with Covid. We stayed in a charming bungalow Balinese style with a very typical outside bathroom/toilets. 15 minutes from the beach and all the fancy places of Canggu. I recommend !

An beautifully unassuming entrance, almost hidden if you’re not paying attention. The room is well-maintained and staff as friendly as everyone else on the streets of Bali. It is quiet (except for the late night birds!), and it feels like I was transported to a different place each time I step in to the place. I loved my stay here and would definitely come again.

We want to give zero start for everything but there is no option so we are going with one rating. Don't book this hotel they are not providing any sanitary items to be provided for a bathroom use. The bathroom is not clean and stuff is very late to provide everything okay this is my honest review. Even they are not providing a water bottle if you want a water bottle you need to buy it. I was there in Bali for a week I went into 3 star hotel 2 star hotel everywhere they are providing the basic thing water bottle but here no. We wanted to cancel our booking since the money is already deducted from our account so one night we are staying without any option. Don't prefer this hotel with your family. Even if you have a kids and they wanted to do something in the middle of the night there is no response

Such a friendly welcome. Away from the hustle and bustle but plenty of lovely restaurants and a shop right on your doorstep. Within walking distance of Canggu centre. We walked rather than using transport. Clean and tidy. Rustic, but the timber villas means you can get some noise depending on your neighbours. Outdoor shower, which I love. Simple tasty breakfast. Two pools.

Really big and bright room. (Double room) No mosquitoes. Wardrobe to store things. Nice pool. Beautiful property. All the staff are wonderful and treat you like family. Room is cleaned every day. Big breakfast area with lots of seats. Cute little kids there occasionally

Lovely place, great location close to some amazing restaurants and still nice and quiet! Super friendly staff. Basic but tasty breakfast (choice of eggs / pancakes and a fresh juice, coffee & tea). I had a spacious, clean room on the first floor with a balcony. Bathroom is the only thing that they could update at some point.

Great stay at the beautiful Kubudiuma Villas. Very friendly staff, beautiful bungalows, nice pool, good ac and water pressure. Only a couple of minutes walk to the beach. Plenty of tasty food options right beside it. Amazing value for what you get. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Incredibly sweet staff, beautiful property next to the river makes it a peaceful getaway while still being in a prime location, close to all the shops, restaurants and beaches! Great value!

Really nice place, nice and quiet! The best place to come back to earth after a long flight. Really nice people aswell, good introduction to Indonesian hospitality for me. I would also recommend the transfer from the airport, a really comfortable way to get to de destination without stressing out to find a cab.

The manager is an absolute delight!!! Took the time to have chats with us and showed a genuine interest in getting to know us which I think is so rare. All the staff offer outstanding service! All the staff go above and beyond to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Very clean and well presented rooms, fantastic pool and a short walk to the beach. Our little family had very lovely and memorable stay. Huge Thankyou!

The rooms are getting a little outdated. There is construction next door currently. The grounds are nice. Spacious with two separate pools. The staff very friendly.

This place is filthy! I think you gave the good reviews probably got the bungalow (what I had booked as well), but I got this disgusting room. The bathroom was just outrageous! It has never seen any cleaning, calc and rust everywhere. The plaster from the walls are also peeling off. On top of that there is like a mold smell in the room. I had to complain to the staff twice within a few hours, first because of the wrong room, later because there were ants in the bed and the bedsheet was full of stains! This is not a 5* hotel, but still! European standards can’t allow to put disgusting, stained sheet on the beds. The place was fully booked, so I didn’t have any chance to move to another room, but at least they changed the bedsheet to a clean one. I would give 1*, but the staff was very kind, and probably I was not the first one complaining about this room. Hopefully I’ll be the last one, so they will make sure that the cleaning and the maintenance will get on top of the above mentioned.

Great place to stay. Amazing staff, nice facilities and very helpful people around. The staff is really keeping up here and is very helpful to arrange for bike or food.

This is really a 2 star hotel, with a small, rusty bungalow, awful bed (very uncomfortable, hard rock and extremely noisy at the slightest turn). Breakfast is poor quality, we ate outside after day one. But the staff, as everywhere in Bali is extremely polite, willing to help, friendly and open to any question or need so I have nothing but appreciation and thank you words for their kindness.

Best value for the money in the area! The staff are amazing and I made friends with the owner and would text him personally to book at 400K/night. It is walking distance to all of the great new restaurants in the Pererenan area and close to the beach. It’s a standard homestay environment and I would usually shower at my yoga studio up the gang after my class in the mornings but for people spending extended time in Bali, it’s a great place to manage budget in a convenient locations.

Amazing hotel! We loved it here and will definitely be back! The staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast was really nice, you could help yourself to tea and coffee throughout the day, had 2 really nice pools. They had motorbikes available for rental at the hotel which saves a lot of hassle trying to find one on the street. Good location near loads of restaurants. Really good gym just down the road which was included in the price for hotel. The accommodation was really nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Canggu.

I came here for 3 weeks and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate anything required. Beds comfy, air con, 2 beautiful pools, walking distance to shops and restaurants, 24/7 convience shop next door, and you have some of the best restaurants, Shelter, atlas 1 min walk. Dirty... noisy impolite one the staff its not polite n place not as clean as in the pic instead reality. One of tge staff will be nice if u give money 10$ everyday n u can do whaterver u want even naked

Great location. We came to Kubudiuma 4 years ago and this year we repeated! staff, specially Wayan and Sri, they are the best and close to you. Great breakfast… familiar and relaxing place.

A wonderful atmosphere with a few shortcomings. First, the location of the hotel is excellent: 5 minutes walk to the beach 15 minutes scooter ride to the city center Quiet, despite the amount of tourists in Canggu 24/7 supermarket right next door A good cafe and many restaurants in the area Additionally, the service at the hotel is second to none. The staff is always courteous, fulfills all your wishes and provides towels upon arrival. There is an own scooter rental for 60k IRP a day as well as yoga classes on Mondays and Thursdays on a donation basis. The hotel also offers a laundry service for 15k IRP per kilo. This is not super cheap, but you get the things back 24h later. The only drawback is that the breakfast included in the room is rather mediocre. The pancakes are tasty, but the jam of the toasts tastes very cheap. Now about the appearance: The whole complex is beautifully located in nature between rice terraces. The pools are beautifully laid out between plants. The cottages in the back property, as well as the yoga terrace are also exceptionally beautiful. The sunbeds at the pool could be renewed and the pads at the various places could be washed more often. The rooms are also very nicely furnished all in all. We could not find any mold. The mattresses in the cheap rooms are a bit hard, but they have a very comfortable mattress topper in the back cabins. Of course, the whole is not the finest of the finest, however, the price for the area Canggu is also very low. In summary, except for breakfast, the hotel provides excellent service all around. The price-performance ratio is tiny good for the area and the staff is the nicest I have ever experienced in a hotel.

Very good and affordable accommodation, which includes a very nice gym that is fully equipped and you can train everything. Although the gym is not right at the hotel, you can walk there within 10 minutes or go by bike in just 2 minutes. The staff is more than friendly and help you out with everything immediately :) simply really nice people that try to make your stay in Canggu as nice as possible. And the nearest beach is also only 5 minutes away by walking.

Great property with naturistic ambiance, very polite & helpful staff, good location. The standard villa is very good, clean with comfortable bed & really good AC. Very nice bathroom too. Both pools are good. Breakfast can be better but whatever they served was tasty. Recommended!

Excellent location - easy access to beach, restaurants, and shops. It was more rustic than we were expecting, so we decided to end our stay early, but the man running the place was very accommodating and professional responding to our concerns, and worked with us to allow for us to shorten our stay, even when we booked through a booking agency and had passed our cancellation date. While the room wasn't what we were looking for, I was impressed with the staff and would recommend the place to those more comfortable with the rustic charm and critters than we are... great service and friendly place.

Good experience. The place could be better maintained by European standards, but 5 stars by Bali and Southeast Asia standards. Place has 2 pools, a convencience store at the entrance, decent scooter rental. The breakfast is a bit on the slim side, but you can always order something better if you pay a bit more. About 2 min scooter drive from the sea.

I was so impressed with this beautiful hotel. You walk in from the loud, dirty, dusty road into an oasis (which by the way is a short walk from the beach). The grounds are stunning with two infinity pools and lots of place quiet places to chill. The breakfast was great (delivered right to our front porch!!). The staff was amazing, Wayan and his staff are top notch, always accommodating and super friendly. You can not beat the quality, service and affordability of this gem of Bali.

Favorite place in Pererenan, lovely traditional Gladak accommodation, beautiful peaceful spot to sit by the river and enjoy rice paddy view, there are 2 swimming pools.Beautiful Bali dog at the hotel which makes the stay extra special. Super lovely staff!!! I always look back to returning.

We felt like home. Pools are clean and well designed, ambience is amazing, the rooms are very confortable, and we had a GREAT time. We would consider repeating here because I really doubt there can be a better place in Canggu for this price. I read in the comments befoer going there that the walls were thin and you could listen to all the conversations around. That's not true, we were in one of the rooms in the middle of everything and we felt like in a house, very quiet, during the day and specially at night. Quiet, relaxing and very confortable. Recommended 100%

Located in a very nice and quite area of Changu. Walking distance form Echo Beach. Nice cafes and restaurants nearby. Very nice staff: they have been always kind and helpful. Best value for money: room was nice, comfortable bed, nice balcony. Only negative note: bathroom. It need a renovation and smell was bad.

This place is ace! The staff are really friendly and make you feel welcomed from the moment you get there. 2 pool options, bit clean and pretty. Loungers are a bit tired but for a budget hotel it's cracking. 5 min walk to the beach and plenty of eateries to cater for all tastes within 5 min walk in either direction. We had a super great time.

People working there are great. The green area is great. The doggy living there is great, can see little crabs and snails around. Very close to the beach, not far from the vegan places. But the place is far from any star hotel. Basically we lived in a bit broken house on the chicken legs. It was shaking while we were walking, holes in the floor. But the bed was very comfy! And the toilet shower outside which I liked! Breakfast for us was only fruits , as nothing else vegan there. Well, not sure we will come again.

The staff here are amazing. We only stayed for 3 nights but wish we had stayed longer. The room was pretty basic, but extremely clean, with little to no bugs. The breakfast was simple, but extremely good. There are 2 pools and both are nice, clean and quiet. The supermarket next door was really handy and the gym is just a 10 minute walk down the road and has the basics, pretty decent. Their dogs are really well taken care of and so cute. We were just amazed by how kind and helpful all the staff were.
