UPDATE: We met the manager, he inspected the villa and seemed disappointed by the quality of our villa. He apologized and moved us to a different villa which was in much better condition. These are the complaints I had regarding our stay at The Bidadari (villa number 7). These complaints are about the villa itself, not the staff. The staff was always very kind and helpful, except for one of the security guards who was shockingly rude in an almost threatening manner… After an incident with the security guard, we decided not even to stay at the villa for the last 4 days of our one month stay because he made me feel uncomfortable. That security guard should absolutely be removed in my opinion. 1. The paint is pealing off the walls everywhere. 2. The power outlets are very inconvenient, even in the bedroom, there is no place to charge a phone. 3. We were told that drinking water would be provided at the beginning of our stay but it was not. 4. There are no appliances other than a water heater. No rice cooker, no toaster, no oven or microwave. 5. The bathtub in our room does not have a plug, so we cannot take a bath. 6. The shower looks absolutely disgusting. 7. The lock to the balcony is completely rusted, it requires an immense amount of force to open the door. 8. The balcony tiles are collapsing, broken into pieces and crunching as I walk. 9. The roof has become a habitat for some kind of animal, it is very loud at night. 10. One bathroom has a leak coming from the ceiling with mold growing. 11. The hot water was not working at all. My mother wanted to take a hot bath after flying nearly 40 hours to Bali, but she was not able to. 12. Regarding booking, it is not possible to choose your villa. You will receive a random villa, whatever happens to be available. All villas have essentially the same facilities with a different layout. The villa we inspected before booking was #10 and it was in good condition so maybe we got unlucky with a villa that was lacking maintenance and inspection.

Had a great experience at Bidadari! We were in Villa 18. Lovely staff and food. We were at the spa every single day, well priced and great service. The bathroom is partially outdoors with an outdoor shower so expect some leaves and the occasional bug, no majors. Room service was convenient and delicious. Just down the road from convenience store which was great for stocking the fridge with snacks. Came with a kitchen area (two gas burners, small fridge, crockery/cutlery and glasses), dining table and some lounge chairs (outdoors) Be aware if traveling in December that the traffic is horrendous in all directions Would return 😊

Quite outdated, painting coming off in the bathroom, hot water that takes 10mn to arrive, no soap in the shower. An old aluminum hanger for the towel... Nothing deal breaking, but it needs a little work to make it luxurious again Otherwise the bed was comfy, the staff extremely nice and the location is great. They have very good deals at the moment also.

Pros: - The location is amazing. It’s 3 min drive to Berawa and 7 mins to Seminyak. Everywhere is easily accessible. - Huge private space and a big pool for one bedroom villa. - It is very quiet and peaceful and the neighborhood is also calm and nice. - There is an awesome cafe called Megumi in 200 meters, a petrol shop and a laundry shop right in front of the villa. Super convenient. Plus there are many great restaurants around. - I enjoyed my little walk at the path in the property as walking safely and without traffic is difficult to find in Bali Cons: - Wifi was very unstable. Often it was cut and wouldn’t come back for several minutes that I had to change to LTE. - Toilet flush was weak and it wouldn’t flush properly. You need to flush 2-3 times after one time use. I had them look and fix maybe 6-8 times while I stayed for a month. It was super frustrating. - Curtains don’t block the sun enough as they are not made to block the bright light. - Overall cleanness was not up to my standard.

Enjoyed my stay here. There's a balcony and big living room with kitchen area. They provide pan, bowl, plate, fork, glass, stove, refrigerator and all. Enjoyed their pool which has proper size and height. They allowed motorcycle to park directly in front of the door. But, the give me twin bed. The bathroom was nice but their shower not totally worked. It quite hard to take shower. And i think they give me two bedroom villa for that there was stairs with locked room above my room. Getting awkward at night. After all, great place!

Overall, this villa is nice and spacious to stay. We had a good stay there for our trip. The reasons why I could not give 5 stars are due to: 1. Air conditioner is only one in the unit and it was not enough to cool down the spacious room. 2. I think there is a need to put fan in the bedroom to make the room cooler 3. The flush for the toilet bowl was not functioning well. Hence, there were smells coming from the toilet from time to time We hope this villa will continue to improve it services because it is really nice and beautiful.

Extremely disappointed by the hospitality of the Hotel, firstly the hotel denied the stay claiming that your Credit Card must have a Six digit pin, secondly the system was not accepting the booking dates. Finally we decided to stay somewhere else, then the manager asked to pay extra for modifying the booking. Feeling helpless at the hotel, so better not to book this hotel, you'll surely ruin your stay.

My brother and I had an amazing stay at this luxurious resort. The rooms, villas, pool, food and service were incredible. The staff were so helpful, accomodating us to make sure we had a pleasant and relaxing stay. There are lots of nearby restaurants and bars, a car and bike rental store, and yoy are only a short drive from any major beaches or strips. 10/10

I want to give zero star to this third class resort but that option is not available. Very bad/ poor and third class resort even one star hotels/ resorts are very much better than this resort. I have a very bad experience with this resort. When I was in this resort I found frogs and other insects in my personal swimming pool/ bath tub (they will never clean the swimming pool) and so many lizards in the main area of my personal room of this resort. There are also no electric lamps anywhere near swimming pool, and even anywhere in the resort except reception area (whole resort is the total dark area). On the/ my way from reception area of the resort to my booked resort room I can't even walk without torch at evening/night. In my room the electric lamps are of so bad quality that I was unable to found my personal belongings in the room. I am not wrong If I will say it's a resort without electric lamps. Not a single electric socket was there in my room where I can charge my mobile/ my mobile power bank etc.. If I have to charge my mobile then I have to plug out the table lamp which causes my room very dark. Air conditioner quality very bad and size was very small if I will say it was of no use I am not wrong. I will never recommend this resort to any of my contacts. Apart from above - I wish to give 10/10 to Mr. Andy (Working with this resort) except him all deserves 0/10 from my side.

I had one of the best days in Bidadari hotel. The staff is incredibly sweet and proactive. Ketut from breakfast area asked me if I need anything as soon I walked in for breakfast my items were ready from a night before on the breakfast preference. He also ordered cab for me as I am late for my appointment. The car was ready when I finished my breakfast. I highly recommend anyone who wants good service, perfect location, rooms are amazing. I am coming back to the hotel soon!! Thank you team for amazing experience your staff is great!

Attention at this review, before coming to Bali for my holidays I was a little worried because I read some reviews saying certains things such as that needs a touch up, water pressure, bla bla bla... this place is super super good!!! I was so pleased and surprised. The place totally exceeded my expectations. The staff are very nice and always asking me if I needed anything. Katut, the reception manager is such a gentleman. He always made sure my holidays were perfect. This man needs a promotion. Thank you Katut!!!! You have a fantastic work ethic. Thank you all very much for your beautiful work. An old villa located on a quiet area n quite far from trendy restaurants n scenic places near by Canggu.

Stayed at bidadari villa 18 for 5 nights. Better than expected! Very friendly staff, great service. Air con was fantastic, bed was a bit hard and squeaky. Shower and toilet were clean occasional bugs as expected as outdoors however overall was fine! Decent size fridge, worked great. Sun lounge was very comfortable and clean however the pool turned green by the end of our stay however we did have a few nights of heavy rainfall. $15 aud /day for scooter hire which is organised via reception. In terms of location around 10 min to local eateries/bars from Canggu and 15 to Seminyak. The grounds/gardens were well looked after, staff were always attending too. Would return back

This place is really really nice. You will be happily surprised when you arrive. I read bad reviews and I was a bit concerned. Nothing to worry about. I am genuinely writting this. The Villas are beautiful and peaceful. Perfect to relax. Staff are very friendly and gentle. If you rent an scooter, you'll be within 8 minutes at the beach. Heaps of places close by, ie: restaurants, supermarkets, cafes, massage places, art. Great location. This place should cost more.. honestly. I have stayed at many places, here you get space and quality for what you pay. Thank you Katut and his team. Very friendly and helpful.

Great place. Staff were super helpful and friendly, food was nice. Fully inclusive package which included food and had no issues with the food. Room is large and great outdoor lounge and private pool. Had a massage at the spa nearly daily. Prompt daily room cleaning was a good bonus and conveniently there’s a small Circle K mini mart right in front and many food places walking distance, try out the Mexican Taco place! Thank you Bidadari Villas and Spa for a great time.

Great place to stay. I’ve been here for a few months and they’ve been accommodating ever since. The staff is friendly, and the cleaning & maintenance is impeccable.

Nightmare ever!! Dont book this Villa!!!! We arrived 4.30 pm and had booked month before through agoda. They said they didnt receive any confirmation. So we have to wait around 30 min until everything ready. Then i told villa staff that we ll go so they can re-clean the villa etc. We went back to villa 8 pm and found no hot water. I bring kids and elderly. No hot water with semi open air bathroom is disaster. A man come, he say water heater broken but offer nothing, except keep explaining that villa staff is insufficient. He has to do triple job as security, FO, urgent engineer etc. Sadly, we spend 3 days here Other things that is so so are many. I have stayed in several bali villa before and never encountered this thing

Had an awesome 4 night stay at Bidabari. It’s centrally located but the villas are off the street and are quiet/peaceful. Staff are helpful and welcoming. Must try the floating breakfast and spa!

It was bad and unpleasant. Looking at the other reviews I see many similar experiences in this villa, some going back several years. The owner responds each time saying it’s been fixed, but in the villa we stayed, none have been addressed… These false claims by this villa are unattractive. Here is what the experience was like in a single villa here (I don’t know what the others were like). There are some similar complaints to previous reviews. 1. The paint is pealing off the walls everywhere. 2. The power outlets are very inconvenient, there is no place to charge a phone or laptop. 3. The kitchen dishwashing liquid had brown bits and yellow tint - it looked mouldy. 4. The swimming pool had lots of white bits (not sure what) floating in the surface, and harder white pellets in the bottom. It felt unhealthy, are they insect/rodent poisson pellets? 5. The bathtub had insects in it. 6. The shower was absolutely disgusting, mould growing everywhere, paint peeling off, even the soaps smelt bad. 7. The lock to our villa is an archaic padlock with a key that didn’t work. 8. The tiles across the indoor and outdoor parts of the villa are collapsing and broken into pieces. 9. The roof had also become a habitat for an animal, it left crumbs/dust piles in the morning over the coffee table. 10. Table surfaces in the entire villa had coaster stains, wipes etc all over them. It didn’t look clean. 11. The toilet door would not open fully. And it smelt of mould. 12. Insects everywhere in the room. 13. The bedsheets did not look clean, bits of something (crumbs?) all over. And itchy. Which made us question if there were bedbugs. 14. The plants didn’t look cared for. Overall the whole place looks abandoned, outdated, unclean and uncared for. The place made you feel depressed. It’s a shame because it could have potential. But this is not worthy of the price at this current moment. I hope they decide to do something about it and good luck in future!

it's so amazing place..nice place,nice people..service excellent..love this place so much..i stayed here 2 nights for my babymoon🤩 the room is also given free decor with flowers.. what an amazing place!!what a wonderful holiday!!! the place is very clean. The maintenance is good even though it is a pandemic.. so happy!!!
