A nest of cockroaches I have been there for 18 days and I have found an average of 3 per day in kitchen, salon and bathroom. They are super big and scary. The best thing is the friendly staff. The rest is really not as you spect. There are way more insects than usual. The first day of arrival the room was dirty with a lot of black hairs on the floor and they didn’t even put water. The furniture is old and in need of renovation. The room has literally a kitchen without kitchen (not fire, not microwave, impossible to cook something, only a fridge). The bathroom is old and worn, broken furniture, doors, etc. Definable if i knew this I would have chosen another place to stay. Plus, construction going on next door which makes a lot of noise from 8am to 10pm. Here attach some things you don’t see. For cool pictures you have the ones of their page.

Because of a small renovation at my own house nearby I booked this place. Within an hour of checking in, i was moved from my room as the AC didn't work well and the shower dribbled out at all angles like it had a gonorrhea infection and no hot water (I needed a luke warm shower).. the hot water just needed turning on but after a couple of small electric shocks (I may have gone back for the second shock) from the leaking inlet pipe on the hot water system, I decided to shower anyway as I was beginning to smell like a jungle beast. There is no central water filteration so everything is choked up with mineral solids from the hard Bali water hence the shower head that mostly washes the walls of the shower. I did however really appreciate the customer service moving me to another room and notifying me of the move via WhatsApp after I had gone out. After a long hot day I get back to my new room at 21:30 and shower (no electric shocks) which although very low pressure was ok (looked like a new shower head) It was mega hot so I turned on the AC. Imagine you were on a cruise ship but your bedroom was in the engine room stuck on maximum acceleration with a thousand lose rattling bolts .. now combine that with Grand Central station and that's what the AC was like. It's 2am and I'm awake as it's mind numbingly noisy (the fan speed won't adjust on the ac.. It's stuck on wind tunnel mode) and just impossible to sleep. I guess nobody checks anything here and uses a "Band-Aid over bullet holes" approach to fixing anything... Random guessing of course 🤷🏼‍♂️ Turning the AC off heats the place up reasonably quickly as the bedroom is located in the mezzanine floor and the neighbors aircon unit sound like the drone of an old propellor plane flying in circles above my room. Opened the ac cover and checked out years of dust.. Photo posted.. Dust mite breading ground.. That explains the Itching I really want to check out right now but I have a 6:30am wake so going to turn off the engine bolts and hopefully not wake up in a stewed greasy lethargic state... Conclusion: for a similar price be like Forest and run! Next time I will read the reviews. UPDATE: Impossible to sleep so editing this novel and ordering Gofood, posted dust filled ac unit photo and downgraded my 2 stars to 1. Turned the AC back on after 1 min as it's just to hot but the minute of silence was heavenly.

I booked this place thinking it was a nice modern place with a reasonable price, but found a minuscole bathroom, an open living space (hello mosquitoes!) and just average everything else. I would not spend a third of the price for this.

Horrible. Do not stay here. The room is dirty , old and nothing like the picture you see. The road is very small, if you have car you better be a very experienced driver. The whole place smells like smoke BECAUSE some locals burn the trash outside and the house is open air (no windows that can shut) Very dusty, try to wipe the edge on top of your bed and you will see what im talking about. They seems to “clean it” but only visible parts. Not professional cleaning. Even i can clean better at home. Their provided soap is very disgusting as well. I ended up buying soap, and some cleaning equipments because the place is not very accommodating. The edge of the fridge is disgusting. Please dont put any fresh food for the sake of your health The location is not good, small road, right next to burning trash area that no one mentioned. Why do the open air accommodation ??? The whole place smells like smoke

the place is not worth it. AC is super loud and if you switch it off you will be sweating in no time. Bathroom is very tiny. There are way better place then here. I feel stupid I booked it without checking it first. Don’t do the same mistake

Everything is great in this place. The best thing is the staff. They are so so lovely, very friendly & genuine. If they could only fix their WiFi that would be amazing. I work from a computer and I have to go to Starbucks every day. Which is not a problem at all but sometimes I like to work indoors. Apart from that, I open my doors first thing in the morning, have my coffee & listen to nature. Bliss

If you bring your own towels, sheets, soap & lightbulbs it may be a great apartment in a great location, but for a short term stay, it is not managed or serviced to hotel standards

This place would be good for a long stay when you can make the spacious apartment your own but for a short stay it was stark and unwelcoming with dirty mouldy pillow, no bottled water, TV remote batteries dead, old worn out towels. However the mattress was comfortable, air con worked well. Booked two nights left after one. Not going back.

Do not stay here if you rely on internet!!! The room is cool, but the fact that the wifi NEVER works ruins my whole experience. I wasn't expecting a hotel with top-notch wifi, but no internet is just a No-Go in Bali for the price you pay for this room. Also, it's not ideal for long-term stays how they advertise. They don't offer laundry service, the kitchen is empty (you have to request the utensils), they only have like 3 hangers in the smelly wardrobe, house keeping often forgets the water or small towels... If they could just fix these small things then this could be a great place!

An OK stay 👍 - lovely staff , great location and pool is nice. The TV had a lot of channels and the Wi-Fi is good. 👎🏾 - the rooms are really quite dirty (a lot of old hairs everywhere, rat droppings, old wrist bands etc) We kept noticing how the place was a bit lack. Missing plates, didn’t get cleaned once, dirty towels. The breakfast is really bad. We paid extra and they only had egg & bread. I wouldn’t say it was worth what we paid (about £30 a night - 520k)

Came here on business. It;s tucked away and a bit hard to find... which is great because you don't hear any traffic noise except those loud custom exhaust motor bikes when you are in the upstairs coffee shop type area.

Stayed here for 2 nights. It’s a bit far from the action so you’ll need a scooter to get around. They are updating some of the rooms (or doing construction) so it can be a bit noisy. The rooms are decent, bathroom is really small and typical for bali. The towels and sheets need to be replaced (my towels were more grey/brown than white and the bed sheets had holes in them). Although there was a whatsapp number to reach staff, they didn’t respond and I wasn’t able to connect to wifi for the 2 nights I was there. Overall it’s fine for a night or two but you can probably find better in the area.

Nice place, and big enough. I were stay at a building with 2 floor, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms(1 with bathup), kitchen, living room. But the problem was the road to this hotel were really small, thanks god that i use small citt car. If you use big car such as landcruiser or similar wilk be dificult. The breakfast always the same. Bread and scramble egg. EVERYDAY! For the price i got from agoda i think its equal. Haha

Apartment: a comfortable stay for a week. Spacious enough, although bathroom is on the small side. Furniture in the living room area is outdoor furniture and not very comfortable, but hey, you're in Bali so how much time will you be spending on the couch anyways? Wifi worked great (although, a tree had fallen on the wires and rendered the wifi useless for 2 days during our stay. However, the staff were very helpful in ensuring that it got back up and running ASAP!) Grounds overall: LOVELY! beautiful views of the rice fields (if you're staying on the right side of the building - picture below), colourful plants all over the place, beautiful no matter rain or shine. Pool area and chairs could definitely be cleaner. Staff: very helpful and did their best to communicate in english which was very much appreciated. the supervisor was quite fluent in english and was always willing and able to help or answer questions! On site scooter rental: a brilliant and cost effective way of getting around - highly recommended. * if you're planning on including breakfast as part of your stay: it's only eggs and toast, so it gets a bit dull after a few days. Luckily, there is Satu-Satu coffee house just across the street and that provides a bit of relief - great food and staff there !

Room is very very dusty. Everything is so dirty like never been cleaned properly. Towel is not white, yellowish. Bathroom is unequipped. Kitchen area super super dirty, top of the refrigerator is all dirty. Bedsheet and blanket are also not white, more like grey. Lots of spider net in the ceiling.

Very good location in Canggu. Many cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. The room is comfortable. The staff is very helpful.

Horrible experience, my entire family got badly sick due to lack of hygiene, insects and cockroaches around. We stayed 4 nights around Christmas in 2023. It’s dust all over the place due to construction next door, but they don’t bother to even clean up! Have a small aircon from cheap brand for the unit which is not able to keep the room cool. Staff says the issue is becoz we are a 4 member family in the room! 🙃 Asked for an extra bed to be added, they have put a crumbled mattress on the floor and wanted me to pay for it separately (May be the staff can make money)! 😆

👍👍 Loved the place and the host. Such a comfy little guest house with enough privacy. Me and my boyfriend had the best time travelling to the South of Bali and met lovely people in the guest house from all over the world. It´s located perfectly fine in the central of Canggu but still the neighbourhood...
