The room was very dirty. It doesn’t look as new as in the pictures. There were crumbs on the tables and many stains on the sheets. The cutlery was'nt washed off and the kettle was broken. Everything is run down and musty. Only very dark lights. We were able to order dinner in the room but in the morning it was suddenly meant we have to pay for the already paid breakfast again, if we would like to have breakfast in the room. Even if we bring it there by ourselves. All that after we woke up with burning and itchy eyes. (Maybe mold?). We stayed just one night. We will definitely not come back.

I have stayed at Apple Villas many times over the past years in the one bedroom Villa. POSITIVES: - large rooms, big space - fully equipped (sort of. See negatives) - the manager Puspa is amazing. Friendly, helpful and professional. She will always do her best to help and is excellent at communicating. NEGATIVES: - probably the worst internet I have ever used. Works sometimes if you’re lucky. It’s so frustrating, it has had me pulling my hair out many times over the years. It could be easily fixed if they upgraded but they honestly couldn’t care less. The staff know it’s bad, I heard them telling a new potential guest that the internet was not good. - poorly maintained. In the years I have stayed in the same room, nothing has changed, nothing has been fixed. The cupboard door is still broken, the kitchen tap is still loose, the kettle plastic has been burned and melted, there are stains and burn marks in cushions, sheets and towels. - the AC is rarely serviced. - water pressure in the sink and shower is really low. So having a shower takes longer than it should. - cleaning service is done without proper care. The cleaners are friendly but only do the minimum needed. There is the same dust in the same corners that have never been cleaned. If the shower is blocked, you must unblock it yourself. Overall this place is ok. It could be great with proper care and maintenance but it seems the owner really doesn’t care that much. For the price it’s not bad but could do with much improvement.

Nice place to stay with family. Bedroom was comfy and quite clean. Pool was ok as well. Breakfast menus were so good. Located in main street. Walking distance to a few restaurants and convenience store. 10 minutes by car to the nearest beach. During my stay, there was a problem with water in our bathroom but the staff did quick response to it. Misunderstood about additional breakfast but that's not a big deal.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Don’t stay in this Villa, because one day they will come and tell you that you need to move out. We stayed in this villa in the room 102 and it is so old. One day the manager said to us that we need to go out of it. It is a shame, don’t you ever believe the agent and the stuff because someone can put the deposit first you won’t have a choice.

We stayed in the one bedroom apartment. The room was just ok and mouldy and when we checked in the kitchen was dusty. I informed the staff on Whatsapp, they cleaned the kitchen but didn't care much about the mouldy walls. My partner burnt his hand because the kettle had no handle on the lid. I was told Gojek drivers were not allowed to deliver to room, but I saw our neighbours getting food delivered to their doors. They said the Katapapa staff would deliver, but one time Gojek said the staff told me to pick it up downstairs because she was busy (the cafe is never busy) and when I came downstairs to pick up she was on her phone. Oh well. One night we got home from overseas at 2am, very tired, only to find that there was no hot water. They fixed it when there was, again, no hot water the next days. Towards the end of our stay, water pressure in the shower was so small then to top the experience, the shower handle was broken. We had to use pliers to get shower to work. It was a joke for 11 million a month. There was always something broken or didn't work, but they management didn't seem to care. Not even a compensation offered for all the nightmares. And the pool is also dirty btw. The only positive things are the prime locations that are close to restaurants, the security man, and this one male staff from Katapapa who were nice to us the whole stay.

Amazing value for money. Spacious room and very clean. Delicious complimentary breakfast. This hotel is a little far from the beach and from the square but they help you get a taxi anywhere. The pool is also an amazing perk. The staff are very helpful gave me advise on the best places to visit and how to travel around the island

I got a one bedroom villa and my first thought was: This is great value for money because the villa is very spacious and has a nice pool. But after I had a better look, this villas needs a better cleaning service: the towels and sheets are "white" but really are grey/brownish, they need to replace it for new ones. Also the bathroom and shower area was really dirty, I didn't wanted to take showers or walk barefoot on the villa. There is plenty of restaurants in cafe in that street and the hotel has a really good spa for massages.

Beautiful modern stay with excellent staff and services! Great food and coffee. 10/10

It's OK, value for money. They also have big rooms for big groups. Location is a bit far from the beach, hire a car then you'll be fine

The worst service which I got ever my life! All villas are very old and something broken EVERY DAY! Technician doesn't care about your problem and managers too. You will alone with all problem in villa - good luck for solve it! ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((

Spend 3 night and 4 days in Bali. Great, welcome and kind hospitality.

I’ve frequented Apple Villas quite a bit on the regular. Mainly because of noteworthy details. I spent a good 4 months at these villas and each time the same room they kept having rat problems. Kept me awake at night at horrible for my remote working lifestyle. 2nd bedroom had horrible airflow poor lighting master bedroom had excellent lighting and the opportunity to have good airflow. Food was excellent easy and convenient. Staff super friendly helpful most times but really had to request a number of times regarding the rat problem. Will update with photos and videos
