    1. Booking this hotel since 2021 for my big family holiday. But could not be accommodated due to hotel was closed because of COVID19 outbreak last year, hotel asked for reschedule instead of refund. We complied. 2. We moved the booking to 2022, initially hotel asked for higher price eventhough we have paid 100%. Finally we settled with original price, confirmation letter has been sent, we have bought air tickets to Bali, all seems good. 3. A month before our arrival date, hotel sent email stated that they are closed and could not accommodated our booking, asking to reschedule to 2023. 4. At this point we asked to refund or relocate our booking! Hotel promised to give refund within this month, BUT email was super slow response. We tried to visit the hotel but was held outside not permitted to meet or see the staffs. Phone was dead, socmed message also no reply. Please reply to our messages/call/email! And please give us a contact whom we actually CAN contact! We are still waiting for our refund!!

We had a short 7 day holiday at this resort and it was wonderfull. All the staff were so pleasant. Facilities were good the resort is in a great position, we love how quiet the area is, a short walk to Bali Collection where there are plenty of restaurants and shopping. All ways feel safe in Nusa Dua.

Our quest for refreshment at Ayodya Resort Bali began at a beach bar, which, while adequate, didn't quite capture the essence of the place. However, as we ventured to the lobby, we were greeted by an architectural marvel. The lobby area was an intricate tapestry of ponds and exquisite Balinese architecture, a stark and welcome contrast to our initial stop. This part of the resort was a masterpiece, inviting us to explore and admire the harmonious blend of water features and design that pays homage to Bali's rich cultural heritage.

This hotel used to be one of the best hotel in nusa dua. Now the ayodya hotel condition is so sad and almost abandoned. Mostly the hotel facilities are closed and maybe 70% rooms is closed too. I stayed 3 night for 2 rooms but I have never had worst experiences like this such as the doors can not be openned, wifi is not fuctional and internet is so slow, alot of mosquito, there are big spider in the room that make my son didnโ€™t want to sleep in that room, tv problems, the jot water cooker was broken, shower with water pressure was too hard and the other room the shower was just warm or hot water, breakfast menu is so limited like as 3 star hotel, main pools was not operational and only algae that why alot of mosquito here, the rooms is really tired and very old with the light was dim. The only good thing in here are the beach and the people that try to settle the problems not only from my room but maybe the other guests too. After I complained many things, the receptionist give us free evening tea and cocktail but we didโ€™t use it also. You can find other hotel as this price. Even 4 star hotel with the same price can give you better conditions. I donโ€™t recommended this hotel till they have renovated this hotel. I rated 3 star hotel for now, not really standard 5 star hotel.

Built in 89 by Hilton this vast and enormous resort would have been sheer luxury in its day. Circa Jan 24 it still stands with its grandeur as a wonderful Balinese piece of architecture. The lobby is old school, though makes you feel you are in no doubt in Bali, Nusa Dua. Spacious grounds, great swimming pools, brilliant beach area. Service and staff are all wonderful. Room size is good, however please note somewhat tired. Dont expect 5star 2024. Breakfast was good, hotel activities fun. Personally I still really enjoyed this hotel, super relaxing and enjoyable. If you are looking for 5star modern this is not it. Old school Bali where you can relax and not have a care in the world and overlook the faults its perfect. I would 100% be back, it just encapsulates old Bali and a chance to decompress.Glad we did this family trip..

Used to spend 2 weeks of vacation just in this resort, doing nothing but watching sunrise in the morning, had good buffet breakfasts and lunches, lying on the beach chair and enjoying the breeze from the beautiful ocean during the day, and dining at the restaurants while listening to the band playing and sometimes I joined for singing, or just to sit at the lobby hall to listen to the pianist playing soothing music. Had a great relaxing vacation here. I would strongly recommend it to you if you come visit Bali. This happened in September 2009.

My husband & I have been a loyal Ayodya visitor for years. We just had a long stay and we are, as always, amazed by their excellent service. Even though the hotel is classic, but the management maintain the service very well. From the room quality, the beach is still the best area you can find in Nusa Dua, a lot of food choices and the taste are mega delicious (we stayed for weeks so we tried a lot of choices), and the highlight was the service (kudos to the staff. They are the best people! Genuinely kind ๐Ÿ˜Š). Thank you for having us! Until next time ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป

We there with a family of 5 (3 small kids) had a mixed experience: Things we liked: - Beautiful Balinese architecture with really nice courtyards - Direct Beach access and shower facilities - Breakfast buffet Things we didnโ€™t like: - Most of the resort is still closed, so spa, souvenir shop, kids club are all closed - Tons of mosquitoes, never had that many mosquito bites - Staff at the Palace was a bit snobbish and didnโ€™t seem to appreciate to have families with young kids there. So all in all we will not return to this Resort as there are other resorts at the same prjce that provide better value. Would recommend you wait until itโ€™s full open, currently more a 4-star than a 5-star resort.

Ok I didn't stay here, but just visiting and walking through I feel that more ppl should be aware that this place is actually a closed and desolate ghost town right now. Empty, not a soul in sight. It's very weird, eerie and depressing. Some ppl are staying here?? Didn't see anyone, and unfathomable if they're charging ppl. The pools looked filthy and closed. Everything else - closed. Looks like there's a lot of work to be done here before it can resemble a resort again since Covid.

Amazing place, combination between ancient architecture and luxurious and modern style, I really love to stayed in this place, moreover it's a big place. The staff are quite nice, friendly and kind. It's a place to back again in my next time to Bali.

We stayed at Ayodya towards the end of our Bali trip and I am glad that we did. Our only regret was that we did not stay longer. The place was amazing. It is very close to the beach and a lot of amazing restaurants within the walking distance. One of the best part of our day was the breakfast buffet which we looked forward to every morning when we woke up. Not to mention the amazing and friendly staff to help with anything and everything. The pools were nice and relaxing, the lounging area on the beach club was so good that we spent a lot of time just hanging out with friends and having great conversations while enjoying the Bali sun and the waves. Will definitely be visiting again! Highly recommended!

I would recommend this resort to anyone who likes the Bali Culture & history. It has beautiful gardens, nice pools, a great beach area & the restaurants are of good standard. I would strongly recommend you request a room that has been renovated & preferably near to the beach. This does mean a bit of a walk to the breakfast restaurant. Local markets & restaurants are quite close.

Itโ€™s a great stay in Ayodya Resort Bali. Itโ€™s private beach and only guess of the hotel can enjoy the facilities (beach, Kids Club, Swimming pools), So itโ€™s not too crowded and good for parents whoโ€™s traveling with kids, especially after Covid, parents prefer to stay in the hotel that clean and not so crowded. However, some facilities needs to improve like bathrooms (๐Ÿšฝ with shower, the pipes of the shower in the bathroom), adding more shower in swimming pools areas/toilets to wash after swimming or play in the beach, put more clips/gantungan in the bathroom to hang towels, clothes, etc), keeps the bathrooms in the beach/swimming pools area clean. When I was there and used the bathroom, can smells unpleasant smells in the bathroom. I suggest to request renovated rooms when you are planning to stay in this hotel. Breakfast was great. Hotel provided fish food for kids to feed the fish in lagoons area. Most of the Staff were senior/old, even in the reception. Please lower your expectations to them to serve you fast n efficient. The good things with Senior staff are they are patient and tried their best to Provide comfort for us during our stay. Only they are a bit slow. Generally, our stay was good and excellent.

Hands down the best place I've ever stayed at. The whole resort is incredible - from the cultural architecture to the food, the service, the rooms, the staff (the ladies who worked at the restaurant are some of the sweetest and most welcoming people I've ever met). The whole resort is huge and super clean, to the point where I walked bare foot around the place. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return to Ayodya again with our families!! We honestly didn't want to leave this place, we both loved it so so so much. 10/10 for everything

Currently staying here, but already having a very poor experience. Pathetic checkin experience... Gymnasium, squash, surfroom all closed and we were not informed about this. Asked Manager to get gym opened for me and he said he will respond tomorrow about this... Need my money to be refunded to me... Contact me.

Went here 2 weeks ago, don't be fooled by the website or any other travel/booking website, the place is derelict and run down, pools not open, really sad, but we were conned in to paying a premium price for a 5 star hotel through Expedia. Don't go here, house are honestly being deceived.

The hotel is good even though itโ€™s been a long time and is now being renovated but for the atmosphere, food, service according to the stars. Those who are looking for a clam and beautiful atmosphere in bali are the palace to be.

We've been trying to contact the hotel for a week but so far we haven't reached anyone. In the meantime we have learned that the hotel is actually closed. This has been confirmed to us by travel companies, other hotels in the neighborhood and other Google reviews. Now we would like to know when it will open again or if it will open again at all. We booked a week's vacation for the summer because we couldn't make our previous trip because of the corona lockdown and only got a voucher. Of course we are now worried that our vacation will be canceled again. We would be very grateful if we finally got a feedback from the hotel.

My husband and I stayed at The Ayodya Palace in October 2019. It was an amazing experience. The service was of the highest level, every employee that we ever met was very welcoming and friendly. Whenever we needed something, they would do everything to fulfill our needs. Another thing worth mentioning is the laundry service that was free for 2 items per person per day, weโ€™ve never had this option in any other hotel. We liked everything about this hotel, the location, the beach, the service, food, everything. Regarding the food, breakfasts were very tasty. My personal favorite item was the ricotta pancakes, I would totally come back just for them. All in all, we definitely recommend this hotel.

My favorite resort in Nusa Dua area. I've been to several hotels & resorts in this area for business & conference namely Ayodya, Sofitel, Nusa Dua Beach Resort. For me my favorite one is Ayodya. They have the best beach among the three.

Hotel is not currently fully open, only with limited facilities. This is not advertised on their site, or on third-party booking sites, and I would not have booked if Iโ€™d have known. Despite being mis-advertised, the hotel would not refund. There are plenty of other resorts in area. Avoid.

This is probably one of the earliest hotel setup in Nusa Dua and is evident from the dated furnishings in general. The estate space of this hotel is huge and in my opinion, very much wasted on potential. Not sure if it was due to covid era which they have not been able to recover from, seems like they are short of staff for the hotel space that they need to care and maintain for. If you can look past all that you're probably accepting on staying here. This is my second stay here since many years back and I probably remembered why I stopped coming here. First impressions was already bad when they missed my booked transportation service to hotel. Checking in service seems very flustered in general and I was given key cards that didn't work initially and I had to walk a distance with luggage in tow back to reception and no apologies was offered. Standard room was considered very affordable for the location and Large space as well. But the general cleanliness was much desired even though I feel the staff are trying. The shower area in the bath was such a let down by design since no matter how hard you try, water will seep onto the floor leaving a wet puddle which can be very dangerous for guests. Breakfast was quite OK with limited selection but sufficient for nourishment but don't expect much service as said, seems like they lacking personnel all round. If you intend to be in Nusa Dua with limited budget this might be ideal honestly but limit your general expectations and you should do fine.

Beautiful hotel - we booked the resort but got upgraded to the palace. We had a fantastic time, it was quiet but everything was perfect. The staff were incredible - they made us feel like vip's every day from breakfast until bed time. The staff are very attentive to your every need and will bend over backwards to make you happy. Special shout out to Arya and Putu who are a real credit and asset to the hotel. The staff also went out of their way to make my partner's birthday feel special ๐Ÿ™‚ The food is lovely - always fresh and tasty. The beach bar and grill is great, staff, food and drinks very nice. Lovely beach to chill on and a beautiful pool looking at the beach which we really enjoyed, warm too. I will be back and recommend it to all.

When we arrived we were absolutely taken back with its grand and opulent entrance. It was overwhelming. Your staff - The Reception team, waiting staff and cleaners are a credit to Ayodya. I must also mention the hard working gardeners who I watched every morning manicuring the lawns and gardens. It was a special place to stay. Our hotel rooms were good, a nice balcony in true Balinese style. I think if pillows were soft and fluffy I wouldn't have minded the hard bed mattresses. The Resort is great for anyone that wants the swimming pools and the luxury of being on the beach. With a number of cafes, restaurants and bars around the resort you could still have privacy. Food was okay $$$ with theme nights but we didn't indulge. We ate 2 nights in the resort @ the beach bar which could've have been better. Its pricey compared outside resort cafes which we enjoyed. Our stay was from 27Jan - 01Feb 2020. Pool temperatures were warm - not refreshing at all, but asking guests from other resorts they said the same! Go to the sea to swim it was cooler. Rained 1 day 1 night but otherwise it was humid and very HOT.

This place is HUGE, it's very traditional Bali style with a touch of class. The grounds are beautiful. 2 pools and a private beach. Staff are all friendly and give great service. There is 5 different places on-site to drink and eat. Unfortunately for us we never knew when they were open. We only found the surfers bar on our last day! The breakfast every morning was basic but did caterer to all ethnic groups. Genji Japanese Restaurant was lovely, the most expensive meal of our 10-day trip but a lovely treat. We felt very lonely at this resort, there was very few people at the bar or in the restaurant, even down by the beach. We struggled to know what or if anything was happening on site or around our area as there is no information booklet in the rooms. No map or general info on arrival. We ate room service food as the waterfall restaurant was never open when we went down for dinner, the upstairs bar only had snack food. There are great bars and restaurants a short walk from the resort, but we didn't expect to have to use them, as we were hoping for the complete package at this resort. There are activities set up in the huge lobby, but there was no one around? We had a down stairs room over looking a pond, but couldn't use the outside area, as the mozzies were eating us alive, even in our room. We brought bug spray for the room, so we could sleep! We were moved to an upstairs room due to a leaking ceiling, which was much better, and a very nice upgrade, which we were thankful for. It's sounds like we didn't have a nice stay, but we did, it was stunning just too big for us, and we would have appreciated better communication or at least an information folder in our room, with info about tours or attractions in the area. The private beach is lovely with a Bar and food options, there is also an infinity pool. We didn't expect to be hounded by ladies selling products, even expecting us to buy as were getting out of the ocean from a swim ( no money on us, while in the water) this Resort is suitable for large business groups or families.

nice place to stay. the building is not that new, however you can still get a great experience of staying here. the beach is just amazing. at a great time, you can enjoy a really beautiful sunrise just on your backyard.

An absolute gem inside paradise. This hotel radiates true Balinese hospitality and culture. From the moment of arrival to checking out, you are immersed in local culture, smells, sounds and sights. The staff are very attentive and helpful. There are many restaurants on site, offering cuisine from all corners of the world. An afternoon tea in the Japanese garden overlooking the lake of the resort is a must. The private beach is really peaceful and quiet, and there are many bars outside and inside, serving the beach and pool areas too.

What makes Ayodya beautiful is the staff. I have been 3 times and what keeps us returning is the people who work so hard there. Beautiful memories and I really hope things get better for you when this pandemic finally leaves us.๐Ÿ’—
