    I worked out with Julien for 4 months and I’m really really happy with my experience! He is very dedicated, supportive and motivating trainer, very professional without being too serious. Every workout was fun, like a play, and I improved a lot on many different areas, and got much closer to my goals (lose 20kg, run 10k and 3 pull-ups). Lost 10kg, able to run 5k in 30 min, pull-ups will come when I lose few more kilos. Gained muscle, lost fat. Exactly what I wanted. He also supported me on my diet. I’d report my food to him once a day and he’d give feedback. Or if I felt like stuffing my face with sugary stuff I’d text/call him and he’d support me not to do it. Excellent service! Not only is he a great PT but also a kind&funny person😊

    Julien is a dedicated and friendly trainer. Very flexible and focuses on your interests. Makes training interesting but also challenges. Worked on my conditioning and technique for Muay Thai, as well on posture and balance issues. Has a wealth of experience and practical training philosophy. Highly recommend if your in Bali and want to get back in shape and also learn about ways to improve your fitness and health.

    I spent 3 weeks with Julien and from the beginning he recognized my weak spots and in each session he focused on these weaknesses and put together an individual training program. After a short time I felt better with my body, the back pain caused by my scoliosis disappeared and from hour to hour I could build up more strength. A big THANK YOU to Julien for the daily support, the motivation and the profound training. It was the best decision to come to Bali to work with him.

    Excellent trainer that motivates and push you during the sessions. And maybe most important, he teaches you exercises and the theory behind them for you to increase the quality of your sessions when you train alone. Very dedicated to his profession. I highly recommend Julien.

    A personal trainer is a luxury one can afford in Bali! Julien is the right kind of trainer for me- he is versatile and can adapt different techniques of tactile and kinaesthetic cues into the session. I had fun with grip slings, learnt how to use tri-x grips, bosu ball, resistance bands and the right technique for kettlebell workouts including Turkish getups. On another trip I wanted to do a boxing boot camp and Julien kindly accommodated my schedule to train daily with me! Julien has a large heart and you will never be bored with his sessions!

    Very skilled personal trainer. Highly recommended .. unfortunately I was in Bali for only a week otherwise I would have trained with him constantly . From stretching to free weights he has a big know how.

    Julien is not only very knowledgeable and dedicated to his work, but also excellent at spotting weakspots and areas that need attention. He listens and understands what you want to get out of a workout and adapts the training immediately. He is a great motivator that helps you to push yourself further than you would on your own. And he manages to do that whilst keeping it fun - my 9 year old daughter who joined some session also agrees!

    I've had a 3 days boxing camp with Julien and it was the best 3 training days I've had in my life. Julien starts by talking to you, understanding your objective and tailor a plan designed for you. For me we worked basic technique and defense and ended up with a hell of a sparring session. I highly recommend Julien, I'm an Evolve mma member and I can tell you that we have plenty of talented and awesome trainers at Evolve, however the experience I had with Julien was truly unique

    It has become a tradition that we get Muay Thai training with Julien any time we are in Bali. He is skillful, flexible, fun and attentive. It's nice to learn new combos and techniques from him especially when you're used to a certain routine and style from your daily training. If you're looking for some good training while in Bali, I would highly recommend reaching out to Julien.

    Excellent knowledge of training and flexible to adjust to your personal needs. I have conducted boxing training with him and he understood what I needed immediately and provided various methods to strengthen my skills.

    I trained with Julien for 1 month and lost over 3 kilos. I did the semi follow program, with 1 training per week and he kept tracking my food intake and also give me some daily workout. I had N application called ptdistinction where he could report and check in for all tasks that he had given me. He recorded samples of all workouts so I could redo them properly. Really great training with Julien and highly recommended if you want to loose weight and get back in shape in Bali!

    Julien's a great personal trainer and all around good guy! I spent two months in Bali and we were able to work consistently over 20 sessions on an on-going shoulder injury that I have. Julien mixed holistic exercises with weight lifting in such a way that I ended up making far more progress than I'd made before with previous trainers, he really knew how to make good use of bands, something I've noticed is the mark of an experienced trainer. Our work elevated me to a place where I feel like I can work on the next phase of recovery, that of re-balancing the strength between both sides of my body. Julien even helped me whenever I needed a hand understanding how to get around in Bali, and I made a good friend at the end of it all! On the whole I'd highly recommend Julien to anyone spending time in Bali and looking for a professional and top quality PT.

    I approached Julien for self-defense lessons, and signed up for 15 sessions with him, spread over 6 months or so. After careful assessment of my abilities, we trained in a very progressive and personalized manner, leveraging my strengths and fixing my weaknesses. Moreover, he would always give me the 'high-level' coaching view, framing every lesson within broader technical advice and principles that I can re-apply in different contexts. In short, he offered me what no amount of youtube videos or generic gym PT can offer : continuous high-quality customization. Not only he helped me achieve and exceed my initial goals, he opened up brand new horizons for my future fitness life and gave me the motivation to explore them. A huge thanks Julien! I hope our paths will cross again.

    Julien was extremely flexible to train at our Villa or at the gym- each session was different, challenging and most importantly super fun. He noticed details of posture and stance and gave suggestions on how to improve and what to work on. It was an amazing experience to train with him and I would recommend anyone living in bali or visiting for holiday to get in touch with him!
