First came here in 2009 and it is still one of my favourite restaurants in Asia.

i’ve ordered one Grill fish & fried rice with seafood the grill fish was deep fried and row not fully cooked and the French fries was cold like yesterday one and the fried rice have literally two pieces of shrimp and the drink’s i ordered mango juice it was very bad and half of it water

Highly recommended restaurant. You will find best authentic indonesian food along with seafood section in a very cheap price. The place is really cozy. Food is excellent. I will recommend you atleast try their seafood plater which will cost you about 75,000 idr. They also serves beer here. Kuta beach is just 5 minutes walking distance from here. Highly recommended to travellers who wants some budget hotels to fulfill their hunger. Family dining is also welcome here. Worth a try.

Loads of local dishes. Avocado shake is refreshing, the Nasi Babi is good.

When you walk past you think, hmmm should I eat there? An out of the way place in a back lane. But I every time I go past it, its full up. One day I said let's try it ..... Now I know why its full, excellent foor at cheap prices, from nasi to lobster. My fav the pepper steak. Highly recommend the place and excellent staff.

Great food with affordable price, not crowded. I'd recommend for those who stay in Poppies area.

Indonesian food at a good price. Taste good, portion normal. The place at Gang Poppies 1 and u have to take attention if it's ur first time coming to this place. Because not too obvious since among the other small stores. The staff are nice.

Simple eatery with good food, clean, nice staff. Great prices for Kuta Beach, from 15K gado-gado to 20K chicken curry or 50K fried medium whole shrimp plate. 25K small Bintang.

This is a great place to eat. Don't be put off by the fact that it seems a lot cheaper than all of the other places nearby. It is just a great place that happens to be a bargain. The service was great and the staff were really welcoming

A great restaurant in popular Poppies lane Legian. We enjoyed a wide variety of dishes during our 3 week stay.

It re-opened this week!!! 🎉 Been eating here for years & so happy it's finally open again. Poppies 1 is still mostly closed at the moment but it's definitely worth taking a wander down here for a cheap meal.The fish curry is my favorite. Big menu, good food, great prices.

In the beginning food was great. However when they get used to you, food quality drops. Last order was so bad we could not eat it and threw it away.

Probably one of the cheapest seafood I could find in Katu. But food was So so. Had steamed crab. Understood why most crab here are fried. While I could taste the sweetness of the crab, the meat was not solid and tasted mushy. Prawn was deep fried. Fragrant but not amazingly tender. Juices were affordable and nice though.

Great food and affordable price! Seafood platers must try! Too bad run out of lobster when we visit.

Looking for a cheap but decent meal? Bamboo corner is the place to go in poppies lane. Been coming here for more thn 10 years, from backpacking to family vacation. From nice staff to experiencing horrible service from New staff back to nice staff again in the last visit. Try their pasta and some steak with beer at an affordable price.

As 2 travellers from Canada we loved this place. The staff is very friendly and helpful not to mention all the dishes were delicious. We had the chicken satay, crab curry, and spring rolls. 10/10 recommend for a visit.

Excellent well priced food and drinks. The Indonesian Chicken curry was so good we returned for another next day. Also, the price you see is what you pay, none of the ++ that others charge.

The food is soooo good yet soooo cheap that it's crazy! I moved out of the area but I still come back here for this restaurant. The food is healthy, tasty, good portion and the cheapest in that area. Definitely an amazing hidden gem.

I order chicken curry with coconut taste of water and vinegar. I order ice tea just ice almost no tea and rotten lemon inside see picture and mushroom soup taste like from a can and so small serving. Waitress angry and don't care it's just money money money

Food was okay and cheap, but the restaurant is really dirty. They are even too busy to clean the tables properly. Plates full of nasty fingerprints. I had diarrhea for the whole night after eating there and had to cancel all activities for the next day!

The prices are affordable and the food is good but the plates are a bit small, maybe a little bit more fries ? Anyway it is very good we liked the chicken & fries and the fish & chips but i wouldn’t recommend the carbonara pasta

The ladies that cook & wait here are all so friendly! The food is yummy & good value for money. Each visit we cannot help ourselves but to return...every night 😂 Love that it is still authentic, please don't change ❤️

Excellent seafood and service! The crab curry was amazing. Very affordable. A little hard to find down an alley, but that’s part of the fun.

Delicious food and very cheap price for seafood especially. Been coming here for years and the quality has remained the same. Can fit big groups and cater to everyone needs, as has an extensive menu. Avocado shrimp is a must for an appetiser.

Hidden at a pathway. It’s quiet on lunch time, but friend told it’ll crowd during dinner time maybe due to the weather. It’s hot and not in windy location. Although got ceiling fans indoor but feels hotter than outdoor. Ordered Fried Chicken Bumbu Bali, its delicious especially with the savory sauce. Mango juice (smoothie) which I requested without ice and sugar, taste a bit bland and sour. Maybe it’ll be better if in normal version or maybe not.
