It becomes too commercial, too crowded, taste has changed from the last time I visited (4 years ago). I waited for 1+ hour for a takeaway order in which I thought would be faster than the dine in.. standing, hot, smokey, the queue was not even longer than last time i visited, I missed the chili, don't think I will come here again. We tried another satay by the beach informed by a local which apparently tasted much better, cheaper (20k), and only 5 min waiting. Perhaps taste does change due to the crowd. Really do need to improve the service.

Awesome and delicious pork satay. The sambal was spicy and flavorful. Can see why this place is popular among locals and tourists. This place was crowd when I got there. Service was good and the food arrived quickly. However, the rice that came with pork satay was a bit cold. Other than that, I wouldn't mind coming back to try other items on the menu.

Most people will visit this place when they’re traveling to Bali. 30K for 10 pcs of pork satay is cheap, but i think they’re other good pork satay beside this shop. I would like to suggest to have non sweet flavours instead sweet and spicy.

I had: 1. Pork satay 2. Pork satay lilit 3. Pork soup 4. Pork fried rice (nasi goreng) 5. Fried Indomie (indomie goreng) 6. Samcan guling (grilled pork) 7. Babi kecap (soy sauce pork) All the dishes were amazing. Just be mentally prepared that the place can get pretty hot, but it's well worth it for the incredible flavours.

Definitely one of the most popular places to eat pork satay in Bali. The pork satay itself is solid; it's very tender, smokey and nicely caramelized. You can eat it with the red chili sambal to give it extra spice. What I like about it is that the pork pieces are not too small. The sate lilit (minced pork) is amazing too; it's tender and aromatic. The price has gone up a lot but it's still worth it (Rp 30k for 10 skewers). And come in the morning to avoid the crowd.

The Best Sate Babi I had This could be the best Sate Babi - Pork Skewers I had. The marination is off the roof! It is crazy how juicy and tasty the meat after they grill it. Would deffo come back for more and I can’t stop recommending this place for any local indonesian tourist or internationals! 5/5 wont be disappointed

Come back here for the second time. It's still delicious pork satay dan one of the best bigul. The sambal was spicy and flavorful. So gewddddddd! 😋😋😋 For child, be careful, because the satay is a little bit spicy. . Always be popular place for tourists or even locals. Come here in the morning, quieter than when I came at lunch time a long time ago. The service was so fast, only 5 minutes.

Decent price, decent portion, and tastes very good. Last time I tried "Nasi Babi Guling", it tastes delicious. Services were satisfying. The place was big, quite clean, and comfortable enough. Good place to eat "Sate Babi" or other pork menu with your friends or family. Last visit on: 22 July 2023, 14:45 WITA. Number of visits: 2 times.

The infamous pork satay of bali! Yes, im quite surprised as well. WHERE IS THE TREE? I have this imagination that somehow the place was a small rundown kinda place located under a very big tree. But… seems that they are actually running a proper restaurant here! The queue was decent and food was being taken out from the kitchen in a speedy manner. There are 2 types of original menu that you can order: 1) pork satay 10x 2) pork satay 8x with rice/lontong (rice cake) And they have pork rice (babi guling) as well. The satay was quite decent, but i feel that nowadays I can find those quality of satay in a lot of famous nasi babi guling (pande egi, dobiel, etc). It is a must try, but I’d gojek/grab it instead of coming there directly.

Awesome tasty satay with deep umami flavor. Their babi guling is ok. Overall great place for a meal. 10 satay priced at 30k.

Really famous place within Bali that most if not all tourists would visit. Been here years ago, and it was amazing. Now it's more commercialized, and their Sate is a little less tender than before. But overall their food is still amazing and definitely worth the visit and hype. Highly recommend trying the Sate with Lontong, Siobak, and to top it off, definitely get the Sambal Matah, which is spicy and sour and really appetising. It goes well with the Nasi, Lontong, Sate, Siobak and almost anything really. With the commercialization it now seems that food delivery is available, but recommended to come down and eat here to get the local flavor.

I came here for Rujak kuah pindang (Fruit salad), but we also ordered Sate babi (Pork skewer), Soto babi (Pork soup), Babi Kriuk (Deep fried pork belly). The rujak tastes good, but everything else is just average. ✍️Soto babi is flavourless, we recommend you come to "Sate plecing Arjuna" and try Soto sapi (they also have Soto babi), the soup here is amazing with the same price (20k). ✍️ Sate Babi has sweet flavour and soft texture. It tastes ok but not the best Sate babi that we've had. We recommend "Sate babi Bli Ketut". It costs only 25,000 for 10 skewers, bigger portion, juicier and more tender. ✍️For Babi Kriuk, we don't recommend because it's flavourless, dry, and quite pricey (30k for few pieces of deep fried pork, while a whole Nasi Babi Guling prices 35k). Parking is 2,000 IDR. The service was fast. They have a lot of chairs and tables, hand washing sink with soap.

The food is fantastic but they could install a few more fans!! Maybe I went on a very hot day(yesterday), but it was almost unbearable! My orang putih partner wants to go back for breakfast again today. 😂

The food is excellent!!! It tastes lovely, the pork chunk is not too big, each stick has three pieces, and it is very well marinated and grilled; the service is very swift; I think the sate is pre-grilled so they only have to heat it when someone orders, but the taste is still delicious. We have to order at the cashier before sitting, and we order: tipat catok, nasi tempong babi, and a portion of pork sate (ten stick a portion). The tipat catok (tofu, steamed rice cake or tipat or lontong, sprouts, drizzle with peanut sauce) and the nasi tempong came after the sate babi; it is uncommon cause it is a mixture of pre-prepared cooked ingredients. But I’m happy to share that it takes them longer cause they freshly cooked the tofu and sprouts for the tipat and fried the pork, tofu, tempeh, and kangkung for the nasi tempong). The place is not Instagramable, but it is sufficient for eating. After trying the sate, I ordered the vacuum pack to take home (seven portions); yes it is that good 😊.

This is one of the Must to eat food whenever we go to Bali. The taste of the pork satay has always been consistently good, but i find the meat is getting smaller right now. They have wide selections of food & drinks, but I've never try any of them because i only go for their pork satay. Will return again for sure.

This is a legendary establishment. One you must try if you are a first timer, and one that you need to come back if you are a seasoned tourist. The price is friendly, and the food is consistently good. Smokey satay, and crispy pork. Just beautifully seasoned.

One of the best sate babi I have ever had. The meat is so juicy and tender. I ordered the sate lilit but it's not as awesome as the regular sate babi. The coconut is also really nice and refreshing. Highly recommended! Definitely will come back.

The legendary pork satay. The satay is well marinated in the sweet sauce. The chared aroma and taste is really good. The nasi babi guling and nasi sambal matah is mediocre. The staya is the star. The service is very fast. We got all the food and drinks within 5 minutes. The parking space is not bad.

Sate babi taste has change alot, but taste good, similar to other nasi babi satay (red color). Soup bulungan was great, not to oily and not so salty. Babi kriuk and babi samcan, we can barely eat, too hard (not cruncy). Nasi goreng babi was good. I'll give 4/5*.

This is a very local place, so if you don't know bahasa, just point. Delicious pork dishes from sate to different varieties of cooked pork styles. Well worth a trip.

Local spot serving babi guling and sate babi Sate babi sauce has a slight spiciness and sweetness. Soto Babi is very clean and gentle on the pallete. Babi is also tender. Nasi babi guling was okay to my liking as I don't always eat babi guling.

Trying it out just because it’s very famous but honestly once is enough. The satay is dry, could only taste the msg; nothing special. Wouldn’t recommend it The place is so smokey, toilet is dirty, don’t see why people line up for this

I ate sate babi. 30k for 10 sate. I think this is nice price for dinner with beer. If u want to drink beer together, you have to go circleK nearby the market and buy the beer. Food taste good. The meat is very soft and sweet.

Really good food. Ideal for trying what the locals eat. Tried the satay and the soup. The satay was not spicy. More so like sweet and sour. Reasonably priced as well.

I went there in the morning and ordered sate babi. We have to pay first at the cashier & the order came later. But it's quick so we don't have to wait for long. The food was great, we can add some more chili & sauce if we want. The smell of the place was appetizing because they were grilling the babi guling outside. A good value for a meal. Oh they also have the vacuumed one for those who want to buy it as a gift.

👍👍 One of my favourite food in Bali~! A simple rice with crispy pork 🥹 I dont really eat spicy tho but you should try a bit of their sambal matah and add an extra sunny side up egg.. price is also reasonable.
