Frankensteins Laboratory is a fun themed restaurant every visitor to Bali should try! (Unless you're a scared of the dark...muahhaahaa=evil laugh 👿😈) The atmosphere for the children/family show was fantastic! The crew, including the dancers and the live musicians, and the face painters and servers were absolutely 💯 wonderful with the kiddos and great at their individual jobs!! After reading several one-star reviews, I was kind of nervous about the food. However, I need to say this so ya all know! The food was so flippin delicious and very much priced accordingly. We tried 3 different entrees, 2 salads and a kids' meal! So please do yourself a favor and overlook those 1-star reviews because the money you spend here is well worth every penny!

I went with my husband and neither of us drink alcohol. We wanted to experience the fun drinks that come in IV bags and syringes, and found a small section on the drinks menu of 6 "non-alcoholic" drinks that come in syringes. We ordered all 6 at the bar, and they were happy to accept. But later we were moved from the bar to the restaurant section for the show, and a waitress asked us what drinks we wanted. We asked for the same again (all 6 drinks) and the waitress refused, saying only kids could have those drinks. We tried to explain that we don't drink alcohol, and that we were given the same drinks at the bar earlier, but she still refused and insisted that we order something else, not "child drinks". We were so embarassed that we ate our food quickly and just left. Can't believe she humiliated us like that because we don't drink alcohol! And we had to pay over a million rp to be treated like that. Waste of money and waste of a night.

Booked a head of time online, attended the early kids show and face paint. Kids enjoyed them selves staff put on a great show. Plenty of western and Asian dishes on menu the cocktails are creative and fun will be back next time in Bali.

What a FANTASTIC experience! We randomly popped in here looking for somewhere to eat and drink. No food was had, but much drinking was done for sure and during that time, we had an awesome time! If you want something out of the box, unique and fun, come here! Absolutely brilliant entertainment! Between the live band sets - The Monster Band (also known as Harmonizer with a different female vocalist) they had fabulously creative and really fun cabaret shows with rather cute choreography to songs such as Thriller etc. Really fun post-apocalyptic shows that get you up and dancing or involved in some way or other. Oh and they had two excellent fire dancers! So impressive! Their outfits (the cabaret dances, bar staff and the servers) are fab and so fitting for this bar. Really fun! In the background behind the bar they have the old black and white film, Frankenstein, playing. The venue itself is very cool and original, with a steampunk decor. Honestly everything about this place was awesome!

Frankenstain is the best place for Kids Show 🥰🤗 Been there for 8years as singer for Mini Monster. We had so much fun with all the kids, dance and sing together. We do karaoke session and also give the chance to all the kids to do a solo/group dance or maybe do a family dance 🎉 There’s also thematic dance from Frankenstain’s Dancer (such as Zombie Dance, Clown, Disney Villain, Frozen, Wednesday, Super Mario, and More). Each day they have different theme, you better ask them, what they are going to perform before you book.

Booked online. Food was great!! Drinks were great!! Atmosphere was great!! Face painting staff fantastic!! Table staff I gave 1 star, didn't smile once at us all night, very rude & impatient, it put a real dampener on an otherwise great night. One day when we can come back to beautiful Bali, where most of the people are so friendly & welcoming, we certainly won't be going back to Frankensteins.

This is a must see attraction for everyone who visits Bali. Our family attended the family session arriving at the venue at 0500. We had booked in advance by 3 weeks and received a table right in front of the stage. The drinks were fun arriving in testubrs an IV bags. After a couple drinks we ordered our food and the meal was above expectation and reasonably priced. Then the Zombies came out and the costumes were fantastic but what really sold it was the actors under the costumes they were fantastic. We took a lot of photos and videos and the kids had face paint and makeup done to also look the part. There were 2 shows and I don't want to spoil it for everyone but wow both dance shows were amazing and my kids (9 & 16) just loved it. The family session has the shows tailored for the children and is very suitable for the kids as young as infant and above. Check it out you will be so glad you did.

Absolutely amazing night! The show is extremely entertaining and just an absolute blast of a night out in Bali. The food was great and the service is impeccable. Will definitely be back on our next trip!

This place is super fun. A lot of foreigners in this bar, with live music and friendly visitors. You can do make up of your style and it is very entertaining

Show is fun for the kiddos. Entertainers are enthusiastic and the face painters are top notch. But the food was probably the worst we had in our two weeks in Bali. Service was also mediocre relative to other places on the island. Probably has to do with the crowd this place attracts. Not exactly the sophisticated crowd.

We went for the family show. So much entertainment for kids of all ages. My son is 2 and he loved the characters dancing and music. He amazing face painter was thrown a curve ball when my son asked for iron man but he did so well catering to my son! He was so happy with his iron man face paint. The drinks were super fun and even had kids mini shooters and my son was obsessed with. (Fruit juice parents! We asked for no coke cola and they catered for extra orange juice) The dance was so enjoyable for the kids and they loved it! My son was a little to go on the stand to sing with the band but that was ok as by then we were ready to go. Thank you for making it such a fun night for my son and us we really enjoyed the whole experience

I have been coming to bali for years and this is my 13th or so trip, I have always walked past this place just thinking it was a gimmicky cabaret but I was wrong. The entertainment is great with a live band and the food, it is the best meal I have ever had in bali. I had the surf and turf and highly recommend

The decor of the bar is fun. Live entertainment is fun, but I came to try the burger. The burger was average. The place didn't seem that full but service seemed slow. 45 minutes to serve my burger. It's the same overworked sausage texture beef patty that you get everywhere else. Bun is much larger than the patty which is visually disappointing. Still on my quest to find a decent burger.

Cool themed bar. We were there several times and everything was fine, until the last visit (((ANGGA WAITER tried to deceive us for money and followed us all the time in the restaurant! persuaded the staff and wanted us to pay twice the price of the menu!!!

My partner and I had the best night here on Thursday, extremely talented performers and amazing food and service. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun night out.

Overpriced drinks, bad food and entertainment was like an average high school performance. Only good thing was the make up. Don't quite understand the positive reviews I see. Left early.

Unbeatable with kids. Menu will please the kids, make up will get them excited and the show will have them on stage signing! Excellent option for kids in Bali! We went twice!

An amazing experience for the family show our kids absolutely had a blast, from getting face paint and fake injuries put on and the shows getting the kids involved were brilliant and food, drinks were top notch

This place is a HUGE amount of fun. The cabaret and the band are great, and the food (whilst not fancy) is just the right assortment to keep them company whilst you hose down some drinks before getting on the dancefloor. Take a group of mates and have a blast! Only complaint is that the cocktails are very sugary and quite weak. Stick with beers spirit and mixer (a double!) And you'll be fine.

Booked the family show last Friday, 2 adults 2 girls, 7 and 9, and it was thoroughly enjoyable. Good clean fun, a couple of shows for the kids and a band in between where the kids can get on stage and dance and sing if they like. I’ve seen some comments here about pushy service and high prices but I did not see that at all. Staff were all real fun and great with kids, I’ll certainly take them back they loved it

The show was ok but does not seem to be as good as pre covid. The real disappointment for me was the food. I had a pizza and some beef snack food and they tasted horrible. My mum and me both feel unwell today, and no, I didn't drink too much.

Had drinks here before the show. Drinks are watered down heavily, so come here if you want to stay sober. Shows was OK, nothing special. Didn't try the food. Spent 800 IDR within 45mim of bring there. Won't be back.

A surprisingly great time. Talented performers, great atmosphere, staff really putting in the work. They do vampire/zombie style face painting which is realistically petrifying. Like really talented. Very very similar to a Dracula’s Cabaret (Gold Coast, Australia) show. Went with a bit of skepticism and not in the mood and they delivered a great night. Get in early. Get a good seat up close. Atmosphere is contagious. 5-stars from someone sceptical who wasn’t expecting much.

100% must do while in Bali great service great show! Involve the crowd food was amazing drink service was immaculate! Can’t wait to come back! Makes draculas in Gold Coast look like Harry’s on wheels
