I totally don't understand what's the hype about this Warung. I was very disappointed, the food was way below average. Meat was so rough, the pork skin supposed to be crispy, it's no where near it. Plus everything was so salty. I had a couple of bites and no desire to finish the small plate of food. There was no atmosphere at all. Just an open airy eatery with some dirty tables. Hygiene was an issue too. Not sure how long the meat sitting there in hot and humid weather with flies flying around. Definitely not going back

Very good pork mixed rice combo here. We’re all love the fried pork and spicy chili that goes with it. Super delicious.

One of the delicious Bigul in Bali! Do not expect too much but the taste is good with around 40k you will get one portion of it. The place, services: - near the main road, in front of Tanamera coffee on Sunset Road - the parking space is not so big but enough for 3-5 cars in front of the restaurant and motorcycles - they provided a mini washbasin before we enter the restaurant - there's live music when we eat there The good thing is when I came there, the queue is not too long so the food is coming as fast as they can serve.

Was surprised how pleasant it was eating here. Have been taking away for years. Very robust spicy porky goodness. However be prepared for meat with plenty of texture. You will be rewarded with a party of spicy, umami goodness in your mouth.

It seems super popular, but when I tasted it, it's just..... nasi babi guling with no special taste that takes my heart away~ 😂✌🏻 but really, it's totally fine if you have no time to try this. However, if you want to get the vibe of eating nasi babi guling in Bali, then try it. Sorry to remind you that the price is also too pricey 🥲 You may get better dishes with this price. The good thing about this place is they serve fastly. That's it.

Famous joint for Babi guling. Giving it 4 stars because I think their standard has dropped slightly and meat was tougher than expected. But overall still a great value for money lunch spot.

For me, the taste didn’t really quite hit the spot and it’s quite pricey by local standards. The sambal could be alot more flavourful and the sate was quite tough. Ambience wise, it was really warm despite the fans and aircon at the place. Overall still a good place to get your babi guling but quite sure there are better ones out there.

Truly one of the best Bigul I've had at Bali, But it was so crowded , had to wait in line and took 1 hour to get the food. They open at 9.00 AM available on online delivery service but sometimes they close it cause over crowded. The bigul price is standard around 40k / portion Fillings generous, my fav definitely their crispy pork skin and lawar, taste superb

One of the best Babi Guling in Bali. be ware of crowd, it tastes the same if you order it through Gojek and Grab. Come early to avoid crowd / sold out. Always had Pak Malen's nasi babi when in Bali. Super recommended!

We arrived here for the first meal in Bali. We had high expectations for this place after seeing that it had very good reviews. It definitely lived up to expectations. The pork skin was super crispy and crackles in your mouth once bitten. The pork slices were extremely tender to chew on. The pork crackers were super crunchy and did not feel very oily as well. The meal was slightly spicy but still manageable for someone who doesn't take a lot of spice. We managed to find a seat pretty quickly on a weekend afternoon for a group of 10. The dishes were served very quickly (less than 10 minutes) after we were seated. The interior seemed quite dark and had flies and mosquitoes flying around but we finished our meal pretty quickly so it didn't affect us that much.

The place is on the main road of sunset road, very easy to find it. The cashier isn't friendly and you need to pay with cash 😕. But for the food, the taste is good, portion is good, the price also normal. Hope the owner can improve on the service in future 🙏

Very popular and famous babi guling place; was even recommended by locals. Sadly, whilst good, not quite as good as expected having had babi guling elsewhere. Also, the heat and humidity is quite bad within the restaurant due to the poor air conditioning Mixed rice set Flavour: S, 8/10. Solid though not specifically good Texture: S+, 8.5/10. Meat is tender and crispy skin was decent though the crackling were all quite hard. Probably cooked in the morning and left out all day Sides: S, 8/10 Value: SS, 9/10. 60k IDR Satay: A, 7/10. Not juicy and a bit chewy in fact. Flavour was ok but nothing special Overall, quite good suckling pig though i have had as good if not better within bali such as made's

This stall sells pork dishes which are very popular with locals and tourists. I ordered the special with rice, which is a bit spicy. Also ordered a coconut and a drink. The pork are really delicious. Different parts of meat, some crispy and some fried, along with some local vegetables. Worth to make a trip here!

Super fast service. Popular with locals (big green flag) Easy to locate. Busy but massive seating area. Serves ONLY pork. Super spicy but worth the risk taken. Orange juice is good. Skewers are super frangrant and flavourful. Go here for the experience and to taste traditional food if you are visiting Bali.

No frills warung where only the food matters! Ordered 2 servings of the babi guling special which comes w a small bowl of peppery soup. The chillis are not for the faint-hearted but the babi guling was tasty, crispy and skin nicely charred although just a tiny piece. Wash it all down w the Es jeruk ...homemade and an excellent thirst quencher or a fire cooler (like what my daughter says...hahaha)!

Tasty food at a very good price. They offer both spicy and non-spicy versions to accommodate for different preferences. As a plus, there was even a busker present who added to the atmosphere. Lovely!

Amazing! A must try in Bali. Get the nasi special and recommend adding the lawar (veg) and babi goreng (fried pork). This is a god tier meal.

Enjoyed the Babi Guling here as first time tourist in Bali. We ordered a few side dishes from the menu. Only downside is they only accept cash which was quite a hassle.

Authentic, delicious, spicy and unbelievably tasty! One of the best meals I had in Bali! Super busy and filled with locals- this I how you know it’s good! Serving sizes are decent, highly recommended and will be back again! Thanks for the epic meal and the great service!

It is always almost full house when i visit this restaurant for lunch. I have not tried many babi guling, but i can assure the food at here is top notch but at a very affordable price.

It's one of my comfort foods in Bali. I understand there are other places that serve a better "Nasi Campur Babi Guling". But I feel this one is still one of my favorites, I like the fact that you usually only go for the Nasi Campus Special and the price is still reasonable. The location is quite easy to reach, since it's in the Sunset Road. One of the big problems is that there is only a small parking spot and all the surrounding stores prohibit you to park if you don't shop there. But if you avoid peak hours, I think you still can get parking, otherwise maybe using food delivery is a better option. Notes: Some people say Pak Malen is quite overrated, so maybe maintain the expectation for it :)
