Bali Mandira Beach Hotel has been around Legian for quite long time thus becoming part of Bali tourism and hotelier history in the southern areas. They have beautiful lush green garden with classic red brick and mortar cottages style as well as a newer modern rooms and suites. Staffs are fresh and young talents with a rare sight of older generations. Their swimming pool is beautifully set up and great for toddler. Open dining area by the pool has classic setup yet capable of handling at least around 200 people. A basic meeting hall is at roof top capable of handling around 100 people with round table dining set up. Great for group meetings or gathering events.

Unique concept of swimming pool because they made it like we're on the beach, and there also slides which made our swimming experience more fun! We bought the pool day pass for around IDR 100K/person that's also can be use to buy food & drinks there. Their food was amazing! Thin pizza just tasted so delicious after swimming. There's also a real beach just across the place but we couldn't really enjoy the beach because it was windy (sand all over our faces). Sunset was absolutely beautiful tho. Very recommended!

I don't not recommend if you're a light sleeper. Paid for private garden room. Which was decent. But they are all on first floor. Family above us stomping around all night was not what I would call enjoyable. Tile floors in rooms and halls make for very loud noise transfer from the people and kids outside. The staff was incredible and friendly. Location is great too. The food quality is basic, at best. The morning buffet in the main dinning area is a lot better than the smaller remote dinning area. All in all, it was a decent enough stay, but I definitely would NOT pay what I paid again for it. Maybe half the price would've been worth it.

Had a great time here. Advertised rules here could have been a bit better enforced, though not the worst Australians holiday here. Wonderful service and a great range of food on various menus. Extra points for evening entertainment.

Rooms were a little too small considering the charges but the service was good. The pool area and the cabana is just awesome. We spend 1 whole day in the pool drinking and just enjoyed every bit of it. They even hace a separate kids area with slides, just perfect for my 4 year old.

We stayed 9 nights at Bali Mandira in December '23. Our first room had an overwhelming mould smell coming from the air conditioning system. So we asked for a different room. At 11pm we were finally given a new room one floor up that had a strong lemongrass smell, which was masking the same strong mould smell as the first room. Otherwise the hotel was great! The staff were nice, the pool was awesome and the breakfast was next level! Not sure if we'd stay again, definitely not in that part of the resort. Maybe in one of the individual villas that don't share a central air conditioning.

Stayed at Bali Mandira for 7 nights with 2a, 2c (5yo and 3yo). Really enjoyed our stay. Grounds and pool were immaculate and just beautiful. Room (Family Superior) was a little dated but still comfortable and clean. Breakfast was sufficient with choice. Egg station was the best so you could choose how you like your eggs cooked. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Location is perfect. The spa (Glow Spa) is the BEST Iโ€™ve been to in Bali. If there was anything to be dissatisfied with, it was there are not enough day beds by the pool. They were reserved with towels early and that made it very difficult to get a bed to enjoy during the day. Overall, would recommend.

It was a really lovely stay there. The staff is extraordinarily nice and helpful. Service is excellent, food and drinks at the azul bar are amazing, especially the fish dishes. Anyone who wants to have nice relaxing time should pay a visit to Bali Mandira

Have been staying at the Mandira every visit to Bali since the early 90โ€™s. Canโ€™t beat the location along the beach front, with sprawling gardens, pools and two bars. Compared to most of the beach front hotels these days which are multi-storey bunkers lacking any charm, the Mandira with its traditional grass roofs and bamboo pagodas is an island oasis. The single bungalows are great, and this time we stayed on the top floor of a double storey bungalow and really enjoyed sitting back on our private balcony overlooking the palms and gardens below. It may be slightly aged - but this is part of the original charm, itโ€™s not an ultra modern cube that you enter and forget that you are in Bali. IMO Breakfast in the larger restaurant is much better than the Azul which is the premium offering.

Pros: pool area was great, though the hotel was not at capacity and all the seating was taken every day so I imagine it will only get worse as tourists return. Breakfast was good each day. Staff were always lovely. Cons: we were โ€œupgradedโ€ to a deluxe room which was a very basic room with a king bed and a trundle for our daughter. For $240 AUD per night the room was pretty below average. The kids club was terrible. A hotel room converted with old toys, a tv and rubber mats. Our 4yr old daughter spent 5 minutes in there and wanted out. The โ€œactivitiesโ€ for kids included โ€œa hotel tourโ€. The one activity we tried to attend โ€œegg paintingโ€ was cancelled last minute. We chose this hotel specifically thinking it was family friendly, but I think there are probably many other better options.

A very beautiful resort in Legian... One of the unique thing about this resort is, their swimming pool is not made by ceramic, but from sand! And it will be clean up every day at night... They also have a spacious landscaping with very nice grass with ocean view...

The Bali Mandira was everything we hoped for on our first trip to Bali. I stayed 12 days with family and friends and the resort made us feel so welcome. The facilities were extensive, and the gardens, pool and restaurants were like a paradise. We looked forward to the extensive breakfast buffet! There was also great entertainment nights, we particularly liked the cultural dinner and dancing. Thank you for great service and we will be back ๐ŸŒด๐Ÿค๐ŸŒด๐Ÿค

Bali Mandira is the kind of hotel that I like. Decently sized area (not too big that it's tiring to reach yet not too small that it feels crowded), clean and neat garden, nice pool for kids and adults, decent breakfast and great location! Perfect for those wanting to do surf class as it's just across the hotel. We came 2x during the pandemic and enjoyed a very friendly service. I hope the service won't change after it's on the full capacity.

A fantastic location. On the beach, 2 min walk to shops, has its own day spa and 2 restaurants. Large pool and watersides and kids club. We stayed for 5 days enjoyed the included breakfast's and especially the cocktail hour. The staff and service was wonderful. Very clean and quiet. Will be back. Highly recommended

Finally! A beautiful resort with wide lawns and gardens. The grounds and landscaping are incredibly tropical. There's plenty to do on site. Very self-contained, but also several good restaurants and cafes nearby too. A quiet, peaceful place to escape the constant traffic of Kuta. I love watching the surf in the morning from the pool cabanas.

Very friendly staff. Could not do enough for you. The staff and the management team made the stay so comfortable. Even sending me a get well soon after a visit to the medical centre. Small accident on the beach. Great place to stay. Next time I will stay in the upgrades suites. Look fantastic. Thanks Anthony & Cristina

Rooms are ok could do with a makeover. Service was good but paying for decent coffee that came in a small cup at breakfast was disappointing. Hotel was clean and location was very good.

Incredible resort with welcoming staff, gorgeous amenities and everything kept to the highest of standards. Room cleans twice a day with beautifully designed rooms for comfort and luxury. Pools and pool bars are lovely and friendly Canโ€™t wait to go back!

Lovely resort, magnificent garden, great breakfast! Although our room was not very good: bed place on a stepped platform, very dangerous if you want to get up through the night... we also had a courtyard, a bit useless really, and a rooster waking us up every morning!!! Unfortunately very hard to get a lounge chair by the pool, with people sticking towels on chair, most annoying!

Just had 5 nights at Mandira. The pools, staff, spa were all really fabulous. The little cottage blocks were nice but the family rooms are a bit shocking. We were on the 3rd floor facing the back of the hotel. The room was a bit smelly, one of the windows was broken so a child could very easily have fallen out of it, the drain in the bathroom shower took ages to drain. Would we stay again? Only if we were given a better room.. just be careful if you get a 3rd floor room with no balcony ๐Ÿ˜ฉ they arnt the best

Everything was above our expectations! The pools were amazing and the adults pool was very chill. Service was so quick and staff couldn't be more helpful. Cocktails / food from Azul and the pool were all out of this world and very affordable. Quick walk to other restaurants, mart and beach as well. We can't wait to book our next trip!

I think in its day it would've been the bee's knees but it is showing some age. The rooms are a bit dated, there is clear wear and tear all over the resort so I think it is about 20% over valued. I think I would look elsewhere next time just because of the cost to value ratio. The service was great the grounds are nice and the pool is pretty decent but often hard to get a lounge chair. Lots of kids so if you're not keen on that, look elsewhere.

Great location with all the happening places within an arm's throw distance, property has much to keep families busy through the day, friendly and efficient staff. Overall resort shows signs of ageing and the tap water stinks.

Great location, the pool area is next level. Definitely a busy family friendly resort , so be ready for kids running around having a great time. There is an adults only area if you need to escape it.

Been to their restaurant Azul. Amazing views, great pool and jacuzzi. Excellent service from the sweet staff. There was some construction going on at the front which was a minor nuisance but overall recommended.

Most appropriately located. Beach across the road from the swimming pool and lawns, and the resort is next to a busy street alongside with lot of good dine-in and spa/massage options. There are multiple pools, kids friendly and adults friendly. The Azul beach club if fantastic, overlooking the Legian beach. Thursday and Saturday nights have cultural performance. Would definitely recommend for a stay

Bali Mandira Beach resort is one of the best resorts I've ever stayed. All the staff are very nice, friendly and kind. I can tell that they are all happy working here as they always have big smile on their faces. My room was the biggest room with jacuzzi spa which is beautiful. There're everything you need in the room. The whole resort is nice and clean. Definitely, I will come back here again and strongly recommend to all my friends.

Well what can I say about Bali Mandira Beach Resort. We stay here every year, it is the best resort in Bali in my opinion. Perfect beach front location, pool is fantastic, staff are friendly, restaurants are great. Breakfast is amazing with huge variety of food. Very clean 5 star resort. The deluxe cottage rooms are the best! Would not stay anywhere else, highly recommend to anyone wanting a beautiful relaxing family holiday.

A beautiful place, we have returned again for the second time. Such wonderful and ever so helpful staff. The security guards attention you upon entry and exit with a friendly smile and welcome. All staff are simply amazing, nothing is ever a problem to try and make your stay even more enjoyable. Well manicured lawns to retreat around the pool and the grounds are in the most well kept way. The pool provides shade in the bottom, over 16โ€™s pool upstairs can be a tad warm but great to work on the tan, plus the 2 4 1 cocktails are superb (try the island nectar). Super central to the beach (stones throw), also close to All amenities and shops, good value food around the area also. Maybe tourists can help eliminate staffs concerns when they leave their towels on the pool chairs and do not attend the pool until later, learn the Bali way and share. We cannot fault the Bali Mandira. This place is stunning. Thank you for having Ben and myself.

Great place. Handy to shops. On beach. Friendly service. We stayed in deluxe cottage. Big room. Huge shower with bathtub separate. Connecting rooms for us. Verandah with chairs and coffee table. Very comfy beds. Gardens beautiful. Pool was a dream for family with beach sandy end and water slides. Also swim up bar. We had 4 rooms total about the size of a house. Very happy and strongly recommend.
