Amazing place to stay with easy check in, beautiful clean and comfy rooms with the most incredible pillows you will ever sleep on. Delicious buffet breakfast that caters for everyone, Mozzarella restaurant on site was beautiful. All staff are friendly, helpful and lovely. Fantastic location with everything right at your door, we will definitely be back.

Absolutely loved staying with Magani! Staff are very friendly and professional. The pool and swim up bar is such a nice feature in the middle of the hotel. The 2 for 1 cocktail deal is amazing! The rooms are stunning and such a comfy bed. Very central location for walking. I will be back!

We stayed here at the end of November. We had a decent stay. Our experience was mostly good. Staff was welcoming and we really appreciate the security team who helped us cross the road each time we needed to. Thank you. We initially booked a room with a shallow pool for our toddler but was 'upgraded' to a Plunge pool room (deeper pool). Nevertheless, we went with the upgraded option. The breakfast was alright and adequate. Room itself was comfortable albeit a bit squeezy. The one big positive thing about Magani is its location. We could walk to several places easily from the hotel. But that unfortunately is also a downside. Traffic is extremely heavy there travel via car took longer than it would normally have in regular traffic but this is no fault of the hotel, just part and parcel of its location. The negatives: 1. The room constantly smelt like smoke throughout our stay. It was bad. 2. The outside light was not working which meant we were unable to use the pool at night which we planned to when our toddler was sleeping. 3. We appreciate that being outdoors, the pool cannot be 100% free from bugs. We had a cockroach in the pool and it would have been helpful to have a net to fish it out ourselves. We ended up leaving it.

Most friendly staff ever! We got to the Magani late at night and were welcome by the staff. They got our bags and gave us welcome drinks which were delicious! We got in our rooms which were huge. They had huge soft pillows which were the best in the world. The food there was super good and the breakfast was lovely. We had staff looking after us and always ask us if we needed anything. One night there was an earthquake but the beds were too nice that I did not get out. Some nights they have a drag queen show which was super funny and had I lots of fun. Super happy that I went here and will come back. Very good! :D

Honestly a mixed experience. The first time I came it was fantastic, had an excellent night of sleep. The second time they only had rooms on the side of the hotel next to the street. EXTREMELY LOUD, couldnt sleep at all. If you do book here make sure to get the side of the hotel not next to the street if possible; if they dont have, then dont even bother staying here. Its like staying next to Times Square (motorcycles all night, people shouting, restaurants open till almost midnight with people still partying ). I never write bad reviews, but its just such an unbelievably disappointing experience.

Fantastic hotel, atmosphere is beautiful and very relaxing extravagant experience. Downstair rooms have private pools and outside area included while upstairs only include balcony. However the rooms are absolutely fantastic and well kept. 10/10 great experience through customer service and food is delicious

Wonderful holiday destination. This beautiful hotel is fantastically situated in a great location. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff will look after you from the moment you step foot into the hotel, for the duration of your stay. You wont want to go home. The rooms are a great size, air conditioning, room service, housekeeping is top notch. The pool and swim up bar is always a fun place to be with exceptional service from the pool staff. Everything you need is super close by, cant recommend this wonderful hotel enough.

We stayed at the Magani for the first 6 nights of our 2 week holiday and it is without a doubt a wonderful hotel. All of the staff were fantastic, so friendly and attentive and pleasant to speak with. Breakfast buffet was awesome! 2 for 1 cocktails was very nice as well. Rooms are lovely; we got the most basic room which still had a balcony, mini bar and all you need to have a great stay. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable. We really enjoyed the location of the hotel as it's very central. Would definitely stay again! Special mention to Triyana from the restaurant and also all the security - always smiling and making us feel welcome 🙏

Just stayed for 10days and then extended couple of days. It the cheapest but would happily stay again. Staff were absolutely amazing and could never do enough to help with huge smiles and such a friendly manner that I’d happily return because they were awesome. Standout happiest and lovely person was DWI and Ani, always smiling and greeting us. 🤪. Staff service I’d give 7stars if I could😁

Firstly, the hotel does not live up to 5-star expectations whatsoever. I think it would be fair to be honest with your customers and not classify this location as 5-stars, as the hotel staff themselves said that they are actually "4,5 stars" and truly you cannot compare to real 5 star hotels. As we arrived to the hotel we were immediately disappointed by the absence of any sunshine in the only pool and the poor location of it as well as the size. The hotel was incredibly crowded and noisy. Noise pollution was not only there because of the main road that is constantly busy but also because of the guests and the current construction work that is going on. In addition, check-in should have been able to take place at 15:00 but we waited much longer for our room to be available. We only entered the room after 16:00. The restaurant at the hotel "Mozarrella" is terrible. It saddens me to have to use this word to describe it but all three of us sent our food back because it was just absolutely terrible and unacceptable. The tuna and vegetables had an acidic sour flavour and something as simple as spaghetti bolognese was also absolutely off. As we proceeded to see our room we were also disappointed by the outdated bathroom and presence of scratches and stains on the bathroom equipment. Right before getting into bed on the first night, I lifted the sheets from the bed and found BLOOD on them. It was clearly not my blood because I had touched the sheets for the first time since my arrival and they were still untouched since housekeeping prepared the room. This is truly unacceptable and we were furious by it. How is it possible for a hotel to give bedsheets to their guests with blood stains on them?! After complaining to reception they informed us that it was not possible to get a refund and offered us an upgrade and a voucher for the spa. The next morning we moved in to the upgraded room, which was a suite, and again we waited a long time for them to check, double check and triple check, that the room was clean and ready. AGAIN we found EVEN BIGGER BLOOD STAINS on the bedsheets... I have never in my life experienced something so uncomfortable and horrific when it comes to hotels. There is such a lack of care towards customers and quite honestly it is simply disgusting! Not to mention that they also served green rotten mouldy bread at breakfast.

A beautiful hotel with amazing staff in the perfect location. I have stayed many times before Covid now my first time back since covid and it is still perfect. Clean rooms, great aircon and pool including my private plunge pool. Great value for money and great breakfast. The staff are so friendly and very help. I highly recommend staying here.

Have just left the Magani hotel and I must say it felt like home after 7 days! The most welcoming friendly staff, great clean rooms, central location and walking distance to the beach! Would definitely stay here again if I return to Bali. The dinner shows are so much fun and the meals are all delicious 😋

The Magani hotel is a modern hotel The rooms are fairly spacious and modern but there are a number of faults. They have a 3 PM check in which is ridiculous and there's only 3 or 4 hotels in Bali that have that stupid policy.  They offer free Wi-Fi but only for 2 devices which is ridiculous in this day and age, and much cheaper hotels offer free Wi-Fi to all devices.  The wifi is mediocre and drops it up from time to time. The hotel is made in the U shape surrounding the Courtyard where the pool is located with all the rooms looking at or over the pool. The rooms have 2 sofas and a large desk and chair.  However, even though the sofas look quite presentable they re not very comfortable and sre covered in a cheap canvas feel horid material The hotel provides these stupid useless glass front coolers which barely keep anything below room temperature and are absolutely useless in a hot climateso you couldnt keep any drinks cold.  Why a modern hotel would be providing such poor quality room fridges in a hot climate is beyond one's wildest imagination. There is a reasonable sized balcony with 2 chairs where you can sit on the balcony and look over the pool area. The housekeeping is fairly poor when they come in each day they don't pick up half of the things and they don't put away things like the hair dryer which sat beside the wash basin for the entire stay. The housekeeping staff don't do any wiping down a benches, never once cleaned the soap dish and yet they claim they do extra cleaning for protection against covid. Definitely not the case. The shower It's OK with a reasonable water pressure. The bed was reasonably comfortable with some large comfy pillows. They do provide really good quality soft bathroom towels which is good to see because many hotels in Bali offer scratchy raggy towels.  The towels they provide are soft and good quality. They don't provide umbrellas in the rooms for guests and again hotels at half the price in the area do that. The room.service menu prices were reasonable but the food was not. I ordered mei Goering and In the description they claimbed to have shrimp Beef, chicken and vegetables and this was a very disappointing dish not only was there no shrimp anywhere in the dish, but the tiny places of beef and chicken were dry and horribly overcooked and I would have rated the food 1 out of 10. Even though my stay here was reasonably pleasant I found it to be overpriced with so many things they did not cover or cater for.  There are plenty of hotels with much better TV's, bathrooms, and much better Wi-Fi and far more power outlets. Those features detract from the overall vquality and experience of the hotel. They provide a very old dated LCD TV which by the look of the features must have been purchased over 10 years ago and they need to be replaced because they don't cater to further modern society and again being a modern hotel this fails dismally.  This very distinctive lack of powerpoints to charge your devices or laptop with only 1 free powerpoint in the entire room which means you have to unplug one of the lights to charge a second device. I do not think it is worthy of 4 stars and I do not think it is worth the price they charge.

We had a room with an adjoining room. Unfortunately the quality of the doors between the rooms does not deaden the sound between rooms. Accordingly, we could hear every word and every noise from the room next door. Impossible to sleep unless your neighbours are out or asleep. Therefore, if you book into this hotel, ensure that you book a room WITHOUT an adjoining room. We did complain after 2 nights of disturbance. They provided a new room - no adjoining door - yea! This process wasted a few hours as we needed to pack and then unpack into the new room. We asked for free breakfasts for compensation for 2 disturbed nights and the inconvenience (AUD $25 for 2 people, for 3 days). The hotel refused.

Stayed here for a week and couldn’t fault it. Everything was great as was the location. We even got upgraded without asking. Staff were brilliant. Be sure to check out the ladyboy review. Absolute crack up.

From the minute I arrived i was welcomed with a smile and throughout the stay all the staff were friendly and always had a smile. I was upgraded to a suite for not sure what reason but it had an amazing Jacuzzi on the balcony. My room was big, very spacious and had all the amenities. Security were brilliant, always there to answer any questions and provide assistance. Very close walk to the beach and this hotel lies between Kuta and Seminyak so you can go either way to explore. I didn’t get a chance to use the Pool as it was always a bit crowded. Good selection for breakfast buffet and there is always entertainment in the hotel. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks Magani

First time we are stay at this hotel is around 2012 to 2013, I think is one year after they grand opening. Now 2 year after pendemic, we are back here, With all my kids. Surprisingly ambience is same, We take same room with pool inside. Mostly reviewer is don't like our room, because behind of street, It's noisy for them. But..... Only got surprised is breakfast, It's not like before, the variety of food is reduced.. Good Luck 🤞🤞

We arrived before check in which is 3 and were greeted with an arrival drink. We were able to leave our bags at reception so that we could have a look around and grab some late lunch. Once we got back to the hotel and were able to check in. Ensure you get a room that overlooks the pool with a balcony and not a room that overlooks other buildings these I must say would be very boring and there would be no atmosphere and would feel not part of the hotel. We had a room with an adjoining room. The doors between the rooms were both shut but could hear some sound between rooms. Loved staying here great location to everything and the room was decent. The breakfast was fantastic being buffet you could eat as much or as little as you like. The pool was great with a swim up pool bar. My only disappointing aspect from my stay was the loud drunk behaviour late in the afternoon early evenings of some of the people still in the pool drinking and smoking in the pool. They were very loud with inappropriate language. Considering there were other kids in the pool still I thought these few loud people could have toned it down a bit. However this they did calm down once it started turning into night. We did have a small issue that the balcony door wouldnt lock the first night we were there but maintence were soon on the case and sorted that thanks. Apart from this I would definitely come back again and stay here, the location is fantastic and so handy to everything.

Unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay at this hotel, because although we were provided with an ‚upgrade‘ to a room with a pool, we got a room with a bathroom full of mold. Further, we did not enjoy the stains on the chair cushin, nor the cigarette smell that came through the AC nonstop. The hotel was also noisy and it felt like a party place for Australians. We stayed at other 5 star hotels in Bali during our trip and we can confidently say that the provided services are not meeting the quality of a 5 star hotel.

Hotel has a such a good location close to shopping and the beach as well as the friendliest staff who are always willing to go the extra mile, specifically Sari who was our absolute favourite:))). Buffet breakfast and facilities were amazing!! Couldn’t recommend it more, we will definitely be back.

My partner and I have just come to the end of our stay at the Magani. we were immediately impressed with how friendly and attentive the staff at the hotel are. Despite being our first trip to Bali, we knew we were immediately in safe hands whilst receiving a transfer from the airport. We were extremely impressed with the presentation of the room when we first arrived and the quality of the house keeping every day, the breakfast was impressive with a wide variety of cuisine and freshly cooked eggs upon request. The staff around the pool were attentive and insured that we were never hungry or thirsty. I would like to give a special thanks to Made, Kadek, Niko, Dwi, Trianna and Sari who made us feel so special and for making us feel at home. I could talk endlessly about all of the positive things that this hotel as contributed to our stay In Bali but it is best if you come here to experience it yourself.

Stayed here for 5 nights and it was just amazing. The staff are all friendly and very helpful attending to whatever you need. Breakfast daily was a spread of all kinds of breakfast food including eggs cooked however you would like. The amenities were clean and despite the shower only being warm rather than hot I had no issues the entire time I was there. Location was the main reason for choosing this as it was walking within walking distance of all the shopping you could want and Kuta beach while still not being too busy. Definitely would stay there again.

Beautiful hotel! Amazing customer service everyone was sooo friendly and so helpful. The daily breakfast was fantastic and drinks were very well priced! Always had cocktails for but one get one free. Had a free massage from their spa with the room and so did my friend it was the best massage. My family and friends all stayed here to celebrate my 30th birthday. The staff brought out a lovely surprise cake for me it was delicious. Location is fantastic near fixed price shops, plenty of shopping stalls and the locals are not to over the top with pushing you to buy stuff. Would definitely stay here again! Only down side was that the pool only gets a few hrs of sun a day as it is located in the middle of the hotel but it’s open until 10pm! Not many hotels open the pool this late. Thank you for an amazing experience

We just spent 9 nights at Magani Hotel & Spa Legian. We absolutely loved it. The room was spacious and clean, the staff friendly and professional. They have a very romantic restaurant on the second floor which shouldn’t be missed. The beach is just a short walk. We kindly recommended this hotel to fellow travellers.

I've stayed here twice now & love it. Very relaxed atmosphere, not too many kids, staff are super friendly & helpful. The day spa is as good as any Australian spa! My only recommendation is to stay on the left side of the hotel as the right side is next to a busy side road with scooters going at all hours & a restaurant cranking music til early hours of the morning. Staff were happy to move me after the first night due to the noise.
