This Dr Putu arya dharma is a joke. He always come late like ALWAYS, minimum one hour. Other services are fine but this doktor is unbelievable, not discipline at all.

ICU and Emergency surgery are amazing (But that is expected and you pay for it - it’s not cheap). Aftercare on the wards is very relaxed and almost dangerous at times. Some staff are very situationally aware and go above and beyond their duties. A few of my Nurses were angels - real superstars. But then other nurses were forgetful, unprofessional, dangerous and outright lazy. I would advise anyone on a ward to have their own friends or family with them 24 hours so that you actually get supervised care and information and problems can be shared with Balimed staff so they get dealt with. You also need a runner because most times you are attended to you are charged. Just trying to get my waste removed after self toileting in the bed was a constant battle. Unless specifically asked most nurses would walk off and ignore its presence. Totally unhygienic and not conducive to a speedy recovery. I would be looking elsewhere to recover in the future if I’m unfortunate enough to need hospitalisation again. Perhaps if departments communicated between each other, doctors prioritised patients over public holidays / ceremonies and nurses had better communication before shifts this rating would be higher. The hospital excluding the surgery and ICU seemed unmanaged and training standards seemed lax to me. Basic procedures in care I’ve experienced in other facilities were not in place at Balimed. The food served on the wards was poor and not conducive to getting healthy. I was offered the same 4 choices each day. Sometimes I was given an option - other times I was just given whatever. There is an in-house menu which you can call up - but if your limited to your bed by tubes connected to your arms/body making a call is pretty difficult - and you are charged for calling a nurse - so it was not really an option. The English speaking mediators dedicated to take care of the Expat patients try to do their best and we’re fantastic a presenting bills and requiring payments but - once again - some were amazing and professional- others seemed terminally confused or just unqualified to help. After multiple specialist appointments and spending almost $13,000 in 5 days I would say it was an experience I would not wish to repeat and I think their must be better options than BaliMed. I’ve been told BaliMed in Nusa Dua is a better option. I hope I never need to find out. To all the amazing staff who cared for me and did their jobs professionally and treated me as a person I would like to thank you again. This review is not about you- you were the ones who kept me alive. 5 stars to the staff who do their jobs with grace and professionalism 🤗

My husband is just a urethral stone. We went to this hospital. The doctor said that my husband's kidney had rupture. I would like to ask how people who have not suffered trauma and can function normally can conclude that it is a kidney rupture? Can the kidney rupture walk without pain? And the doctor just gave my husband a blood routine and concluded that the kidney was broken. It's really disappointing. We can only go to other international hospitals. I doubt the professional level of doctors in this hospital. It's so speechless😓 If the doctor is at this level, I really dare not go to this hospital again.😓 The doctor is too unprofessional. 😓The doctor is simply perfunctory, there is no systematic examination to make a conclusion. This practice is very unprofessional.😓

Unfortunately I had a really negative experience for many reasons. I came here because of my pregnancy and because of issues with my digestion. The internist who saw me wanted to prescribe me prebiotics for almost 2million. When I declined them he called me back to the room to tell me that if I decide to get them I should know that it says on the package that it’s not recommended if you are pregnant because it hasn’t been tested properly yet!!!!! What if I would have just blindly bought them and took them and risked my pregnancy? The next thing is that I did a lab test and was promised to get the results within an hour via WhatsApp. I received the results after messaging a number of times a day later when the doctor called me and said I have some bacteria but don’t have to take anything because it will go away by itself. I told him I had these problems since 1 month and I don’t want to risk my pregnancy and leave it untreated and he didn’t respond, just wished me a good day and hung up saying “call me if it gets worse”. I am super disappointed for paying this much money for such terrible service and doctors that don’t take me seriously. I do not recommend this clinic.

Worst hospital in Bali. Really, worst. Tldr; avoid this hospital unless you have no choice. The queue time is crazy with only small amount of patients, especially the pharmacy department. You can wait up to 1.5 hours (!!) to get your medicine. And you can't ask to buy it in another pharmacy. Nepotism at it best: patients who know the nurse or doctor dont need to queue, straight to the doctor eventhough the queue is very long. Outpatient clinic and inpatient rooms are dirty like cheap restaurant and cheap hotel. Calling the nurse if you are inpatient? It can take up to 45 minutes until they come, even though you call them 3 times (!!) Outpatient clinic is very small, very bad in this covid time. The nurses is not nice. Etc. Really really bad hospital.

If you value your Heath, DO NOT GO HERE. Money hungry, incompetent hospital. They left me sitting in a corridor for 6 hours with severe abdominal pain and dizzy spells. Doctor is dismissive and just wants you in and out, give me your money, no investigation into the root of the problem and prescribed Panadol and an antacid. Unfortunately that’s not going to treat a stomach perforation. I wish I read the reviews before I went here, never again. Bali Royal Hospital were quick to fix me when this place didn’t care.

Excellent clinic! Clean modern building with parking and elevators! Good service and customer care. pleasantly surprised! Most impressed - it's SUPER PRICES! Despite the fact that this is a private clinic, the prices here are very good! Minus - do not work with international insurance!

Doctors and nurses are very friendly. The service and hygiene is great. Didn't need to wait long and the prices quoted are much lower than in other smaller private clinics. However, they started milking money after several visits... I got the money back from the insurance company, so overall I am happy.

Worst hospital in the city, with the worst service! Booked through whatsapp with all the the required documents submitted, but still need to download the app just to get ID number when arrived, harassed by the staff when we asked why we have to do double registration process. Spent half hour just to print the registration number, and ended with different queueing number. Strongly not recommended! Siloam hospital has muuuccchhh better service!

Especially Yumas/Ayu!! She is an angel!!! Easy to get a booking. Easy communication and top notch service and care!! Better than any hospital I have been to in Europe and South Africa. pleasantly surprised! Most impressed!! the prices here are very good especially for a private hospital! Medicine is given on the spot so no need to go else where. It really was an amazing experience!!

I never leave reviews but want to give a heads up to anyone concerned about hygiene eg immunocompromised like me. I did not feel the safety measures here are adequate. The inpatient area was overcrowded, in between patients in the room, lab and xray areas were no wipe down or protective measures other than masks. It was recommended i be admitted for 5 days for IV antobitoics but i did not feel comfortable staying there so chose to leave. The lung specialist i saw diagnosed me with pneumonia, but i sent the xray to 2 specialists back home in NZ who both did not think it was pneumonia. The positive was that the staff were all very friendly, kind and helpful. Everything was efficient and i got results fairly quickly and saw the doctor without a booking. I can only share my experience. I am a doctor from NZ so my standards nay be higher than others. I went instead to BIMC which was more expensive but very clean and professional.

I am very grateful to this clinic. I had a very unpleasant case with a kidney stone, my husband and I came there and, although our insurance was not suitable for this hospital, there was no choice due to the emergency of the situation and we decided to be treated here, especially since there are few urologists and heard good things about this hospital from friends. At the reception, the woman helped us with everything, took us from office to office, suggested everything, and was very supportive. The urologist is an older man - a very good specialist, he took the problem seriously, listened very carefully and immediately performed an ultrasound. On the same day I got a better and more complete ultrasound and passed all the necessary analysis. This speed is impressive. It turned out that the stone came out on its own the day before, I was prescribed pills, which helped almost immediately and now I am on the mend. The hospital is clean and has everything you need. We were afraid about the money, but for all the services we paid less than 4 million, which is significantly less than we expected (two visits to the doctor, a lot of medications, two ultrasounds, various analysis). Special thanks to the girl at the reception Ayu, who did not remain indifferent and accompanied her everywhere and helped 🙏❤️

I had a severe eye infection and went to see an ophthalmologist. I was very well treated by a specialist. Although the hospital was quite crowded it took 1h from in to out. I was the only foreigner among the crowd. Don't expect a fancy hospital that looks like a 5* hotel (like many do and very expensive), but I felt very secure by the professionals that treated me. The consultation costed 500k rp + 300k medicine.

Busy hospital with limited seating and slow processing, but underneath the doctors know what they're doing, although it seems that the doctors are rushing to attend to each patient and it's a little discomforting because they could be misdiagnosing

Disgusting service!!! We signed up to the lore, gave out a reservation number for 21:00-23:00. We arrived at 9:00 pm, but the receptionist told us that the doctor took in the morning and we didn’t come right!?!? I will write a complaint to the government of Denpasar, on the organization of the work of this hospital. Their work creates risks for the lives of patients!!!

The WORSE hospital I’ve ever know in my life. My husband got accident preety bad few days ago and need surgery. Our friend bring my husband to the hospital in sunset road, because this hospital don’t have room available that time, so they want transfer my husband to Balimed hospital. In emergency room, I’m waiting for the estimate price for the surgery, and that take 7 hours for Balimed give us the estimate from 4pm-11pm. After I got the estimate price, I agree with that price which is arround 154 million. I’m start packing to move to Balimed from the emergency room hospital in sunset road, but the doctor in emergency room told me if Balimed not allow us to come over there before we pay deposit. I said ok, I will pay for the down payment. In my mind deposit or down payment is 50% or less from the actual bill. And few seccond later Balimed send me a message that I need to send the deposit money for room and surgery which is 160 million rupiah. They Deposite or down payment is mean Full payment pay in the front. I told them, I don’t have 160 million that night, I told them I’m willing to pay 35million for deposit and the rest of the money the next day, but they refused my offer. Don’t know what to do, I’m so exhausted can’t find hospital because in that periods most hospital their room is not available. 5am I try to call Balimed again and asked them how about if I pay 50 million right now and I will send the rest of money at 10am. And they answer is No. they can’t accept us if they didn’t get the money to their bank account.. Thank God I finally find a better hospital for my Husband. And he’s fine now. I will not and never support hospital with no sympathy like Balimed!

There is one person which is responsible for the foreign people coming. She speaks English and the doctor I saw also spoke good English. Prices are fair, not a rip off like in some other places. Very well organized, we didn’t wait long and the nurse that spoke English was on our site the hole time

Overcharging! They made completely unnecessary tests just to charge you for them. And then when you pay they don’t show you what you pay for, only after you’ve paid. I went to check an eye infection. It’s a simple infection. I’ve had it before. The doctor can diagnose this by making a physical examination. The doctor didn’t even look at my eye before the assistants started making tests on me. No one asked me about anything (like my medical history) or looked at my eye before doing different tests. Now I understand that they just do it to charge you for it. That’s not professional. Don’t make extra money on sick people. Anyways, paid 1 mil to get eye drops prescribed that you don’t need a prescription for.

Horrible hospital. Was inpatient here for 2 days because of severe dehydration and fever from food poisoning. Through a clinic I was sent here by ambulance. Terrible money orientated place only asking for money, letting you sign a gazillion papers when you come in with 40 degrees fever and dehydrated waiting on a bed for 2 hours without communication in the emergency room. Very expensive as well. And guess what there is not even a decent doctor that comes to see you throughout your stay. I was under supposed care of Dr. Mariadi. Well I wonder if he was even a licensed doctor at all, couldn't answer simple questions, had no idea what he was doing and the 2nd day he just didn't show up at all. I am fluent in Bahasa Indonesia so that was not the problem since he can't speak English though. Want some water while sick in bed, be prepared to wait for an hour after 3 calls to the nurse. But still 350 usd for 2 days in this hell hole. Very low standards, please pick another hospital if you can.

Some people had a good experience and others don't. I belong to the others. If you had an emergency don't bother to go here, the service was so slow and some staff is unfriendly towards my parents. Administration took ages to complete, many front desk staff is impolite and I think it's their work culture. Housekeeping took ages, back then my friend forced to pick a way more expensive room since the normal room isn't available (or applicable) for his insurance.

I'm pleased with the staff and vaccination services from BaliMed accommodating foreign nationals to get vaccinated too. Thank you. Just 4 steps and takes 1 to 2 hours depends on the queue: 1. Register in BaliMed app for vaccination. 2. Go on your assigned day: wait in the long line to register your passport info with them. 3. Wait anywhere until your name is announced to get checked up, then get vaccinated. 4. Wait until your name is called when your document is ready. It's outdoor, so bring water as the line is in the sun and comfy clothes as there are not sufficient seats so you might want to sit on the floor.

Good service and quick response from the watsapp team support. Very appreciated ENT specialist Dr. Christina , because of her professional, I safe my eardrum in good condition. She genteelly help me remove the wax and check in detail what’s stick at my eardrum. It really reduce my ear pains compare to another emergency hospital I went in Kuta beach. Beside that, she is well explain in detail and to make sure I fit to flight. Highly recommend for those who got accident about ear, nose and throat issue to visit her. Yet please don’t expect it’s 4/5star hospital. Walk in service not really good, a bit crowded with limited seat. It would be good to double confirm or appointment is the dr available before you visit.

I contacted the hospital to schedule an MRI appointment after a serious accident where I fell down stairs and injured my knee. The staff at Bali Med passed me around and constantly delayed issuing me with a simple appointment so that I could find out the extent of my injuries. Because of Bali Med hospital's refusal to allow me access to the scan, I havent been able to receive the treatment for my injuries, which could have serious long term implications on my recovery. I do not recommend this hospital to anyone.

Ridiculous place. Scheduled my friend’s surgery in the evening at 9 PM, then suddenly told her she needs someone (supposed to be family) joining her. And then after signing some documents, they don’t let that person leave, but that person can also not join the patient in the recovery room after surgery. So basically you are required to wait throughout the night for someone to wake up, and none of this was communicated up front. I feel that it’s mostly so they’re not responsible for the patient’s belongings that they can’t just put in a locker somewhere but have to pass on to a ‘mule’.

Very good services and the staffs are friendly, although online registration for an appointment to the polyclinic was a bit of a hassle. They've built a new four storey extension building on the side which is nice. As with many hospitals in Bali, parking space for cars is quite limited and basement parking is only for motorbikes.

Security Staff: Far away from excellent service. They don't even help the people with motorbikes who were stuck in the middle of the road because traffic was so busy. It shows extremely different services given to those who drive cars. I suggest conducting excellent service training to the security staff. Out of that, the other Staff gave their excellent service to the patient.

We were very kindly treathed by different nurses and a special tourist guidance who takes us to different sections in the hospital. Via Whatsapp she keeps us updated and she was very friendly and helpfull. Even in the evening back in the villa she was very helpful via Whatsapp to send us the bill in PDF. The worst Hospital, seriously they have 9 counters but only 2 active. They even skipped the ones who use BPJS (Social Security Agency on Health). It took me hours to wait for my registration although they have tons of staff. (Update) I am still waiting LOL, they prioritize the one who pays with cash upfront, I wouldn't be able to check in with the doctor today and that means I have to come back here tomorrow so I could finally get checked. Honestly! A private hospital with the worst quality! Not to mention that they have an app that is both confusing and difficult to sign in.

(Translated by Google) For nurses in charge of the emergency room, please learn more about how to stick a needle into the patient, you must really be able to handle it well. The pain exceeds the surgical wound, it's been 10 days still bruised and if touched pain. Honestly this makes me traumatized. Because when the needling is felt very painful. Also, if there is a need to take a blood sample it's better not here. Because I never had bruises for days after taking blood. Procedures and directions must be clear before making a blood draw. For 1 night I was treated at this hospital, very uncomfortable. Because a lot of mosquitoes. My husband who watches the whole day can kill up to 20 mosquitoes and keep coming one by one. I beg the mother who is guarding the window 2 on the ground floor to be more friendly to patients or hospital visitors. There is absolutely no smile. Hopefully my advice can be useful, and make this hospital even more comfortable for the next prospective patient.

Edit 2: another matter happened with the hospital in that the pharmacist opened the dry powdered antibiotics bottle and mixed in distilled water to prep for me but she failed to inform me and I tot they had given me a half used bottle - I got in touch with hospital and they gave me the pharmacist’s number for WA and we managed to resolve the misunderstanding by abt 10pm… impressed that I am able to reach them at that time! Edit: I rushed to register my child for a second visit. And this time the doc really listened to what I have done for my child’s condition the day before and gave a diagnosis which is similar to what my child’s paed in Singapore wld do. Thank God for his humbleness to listen to patient’s views. Unlike the one before him. He’s a more senior doc. Dr Komiang. Recommend! And for this turn of events, and how the cashiers organized this as well as admin related when I rejected Dr Dewi’s medicines, they were able to handle the changes. All in all, not a bad experience. First story: Brought my child to see a paed specialist (Dr Dewi) for swollen eye. And despite telling her that antihistamines didn’t work and the swelling had worsened, she insisted that it’s not cellulitis becos no fever is presented. That is so unprofessional becos international guidelines state that if allergy can be ruled out, it is to be treated as infection. I requested for her to prescribe and she still refused to give antibiotics, WITHOUT checking international medical protocols!! And due to the seriousness of the potential infection, I had to have to see another doc… creating another bill. Ridiculous treatment - not to check international guidelines. Tried calling and texting her as per instructions by nurses.. didn’t reply at all. For a specialist level this is terrible. Specialist in a given fields FOLLOW INTERNATIONAL GUIDELINES AND PROTOCOLS. Not based on errorneous judgement of a very young doctor! That said, the hospital runs pretty well actually. I pre-registered my child on WhatsApp and we saw the paed quite quickly tho still waiting to see second opinion.

I had a c-section here. Possibly the worst medical experience of my life. It started with them telling me I needed to have an emergency c-section after I ‘failed’ a non-stress test. Nobody was there to interpret the results for me or tell me anything beyond the simple fact that I failed. The nurses were communicating with the doctor over the phone and said that they weren’t able to interpret the results, only the doctor. It was the weekend and I was scared to wait til Monday to go to my regular doctor and considering the health of my baby I decided to go through with c-section. I asked them if I could please see my baby after she was born and they said yes. After the c-section they immediately took her away, I didn’t see her at all. I asked several times to see her and they said that she was healthy. I could only hear her crying and that was it. After the c section they put me in a room with other patients who were recovering from surgeries and told me I needed to wait til I could move my toes. After two hours in there they took me to my room and left me in there for hours with no one checking in on me and no one explaining to me where my baby was. I called the nurses and they told me I could not see me baby for another 4 hours because she was in the warmer. I know the importance of skin to skin contact and feeding the baby immediately after they’re born so I was really distraught by this. They finally brought me my baby after I called and begged them to. Throughout the whole experience I was pretty much left in the dark about everything happening and felt like no one was properly checking in on me besides scheduled meds. I could say more but the overall experience was really terrible. I would recommend this hospital at all for birth if you’re able to avoid it please do.

What i especially appreciate is that from the start i have been given a contact for a person who is in charge of all my questions (and i have many!) and of scheduling my appointments. Makes it feel very personal and she has been so helpful no matter what time of the day i contact her! Some processes like check-in and check-out could maybe be a little bit quicker but the overall good service makes up for that ☺️

my son was recently involved in a scooter accident and was taken to BaliMed Hospital. Being a private hospital, payment up front was required before any tests or scans were done. As I was in Australia, providing payment was very difficult. Thankfully the friends he was travelling with were able to help out and pay for the scans until I arrived in Bali to re-imburse them. The doctors who cared for my son were very professional, kind and caring and provided good clinical care for him. The administration and accounts department staff were also extremely helpful, understanding and kind. I stayed with my son in the hospital for the three days he was hospitalised to care for him and I don't know what would have happened had I not been there, as there was absolutely NO nursing care given to him apart from medications and the occasional blood pressure check. The lack of nursing care was not only extremely disappointing, but terrifying as my son had numerous injuries including a head injury and open wounds. Overall, doctors and admin were fabulous, nursing care was disgraceful!! Special mention to Ayuma and Dewi who were both wonderful 🙏🏻

My husband was admitted to BaliMed hospital with severe gastroenteritis. We cannot say enough good things about the care he received. It was excellent from admin staff, doctors and nurses. Everyone was so kind and helpful and so compassionate for our circumstances, being so far away from home. We had to go back to the outpatients clinic where we were also looked after very well. My husband is now well on the way to recovery and this is completely down to the excellent care he received at BaliMed hospital.
