    My wife came to the clinik today with 2 reasons: to check her eyes vision and to get glasses prescription. First they made a machine test for the actual vision and then the manual test for glasses. Then she was asked to the doctor Ketut Semara Budiyasa room. He asked her what she wants. She answered she wants to know her actual eyes numbers, not the glasses numbers because they are different. He said you don't need to know these numbers. She said I do because I want to make a laser surgery back to my country and they said I need to follow my actual vision numbers for 6 months and if they are not changing I can make a surgery. His next question was: Are you a doctor, have you studied medicine? Strange questions. She said no. Then he said "I know better, I am a doctor, you don't need that info". As she had a first paper from the machine actual vision test she asked him at least to explain these numbers and passed him the paper. Then his exact words were: "Go and google yourself" and he threw the paper on the table in front of her. No, he did not put, he threw. After that behaviour she said she didn't want to continue this conversation, left his room and asked the nurse to explain her the numbers, and the nurse kindly did. This behaviour of the doctor was absolutely inapropriate. All the other people were very nice. I highly recommend to avoid doctor Ketut Semara Budiyasa if you go there.

    If i could give -5 stars i would. I came because i had a sudden change of one eye vision, starting to be blurry darker and smaller, a bit of pain (i repeatedly said this) i was prescribed a +0.75 lenses, i said this was sudden and makes non sense that i need lenses one day to another.... Well came back to my country as i was worried TURNS OUT I HAVE CENTRAL SEROUS RETINOPATHY!!! the specialist have no clue here!!!! Absolute NO CLUE! They also told me i have dry eye and that's why I see blurry!!! WHAT A JOKE

    I see some foreigners came to this place also. Well, here's my review. First time to this place, i would like to check my grandma's eyes. Registration cost Rp 100.000 on the first place and the staff told me to buy medicines first before check to any doctor. The medicines cost at least Rp 450.000. Is that the procedure? The staff say yes. I haven't meet any doctor but why would I buy those medicines? This is pure 100% business, so if you can just avoid this hospital! Very very very not recommended!

    I went early to the part for foreigners at the smaller building west of the main one. This opens at 08h30. Main hospital opens at 07h30. Made all tests. Quite thoroughly and quick to get see doctor for internal eye exam. He was professional, courteous and knew what he was doing. Explained everything clearly and showed me in the monitor Prior to Doc the team tested sight manually and with electrical refractor. Also pressure test Was all good and cost 700k.$45 with: 1). all 3 prescriptions I needed 2). General background tests by the friendly team 3). Senior Doctor consultation and eye exam 4). initial registration with patient card No hesitation to recommend. 👍👍

    VIP area for Tourist !!! Excellent attention and service with a super clean facilites !!! i got an eye surgery because i had an eye infection (Kalazio) so someone recommended this place so i decided to visit it and check my eye out !!! i did make a surgery appointment !!!! i am very happy with surgery and results !!! Tourist should go to the VIP area less crowded, great and clean facilities with well professional equipment and excellent price !!! very happy with prices as well very affordable !!!

    On September 16, 2021 I had my cataract eye operation in the Mandara Clinic. The previous diagnostic conversation with Dr. EKA was reassuring, case-related and informative. Dr. Eka took the time to answer every question. The surgical procedure, from preparation to follow-up care, was professionally coordinated. Also according to western standards! Dr. EKA and his team are extremely well coordinated and do not allow any uncertainties or hygiene concerns to arise! The result of the first operation was so impressively POSITIVE that I immediately had the second operation date set. I can recommend anyone with eye problems the Mandara Klinik and Dr. EKA. I can't expect better results anywhere else. THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH, DR. EKA AND THE ENTIRE TEAM IN THE MANDARA CLINIC. Hans-Werner Albrecht 14.10. 2021 C A T A S T R O P H I C SECOND OPERATION CATARACT While the operation was being performed on my left eye, a man entered the operating room. He talked about the “Mobil” and “15 juta”! There was laughter and joking remarks passed back and forth. The operating Dr. EKA repeatedly took part in the conversation when Dr. Eka by the way bring the engine in position, what should bring out my defect Cataract. Suddenlyt was to feel a strong pain, what let my musceles in the whole body let have a contraction reaction, the Assistant suster told that direct to Dr Eka. Unlike my first cataract surgery, I suddenly saw blood flowing into my eye. I told Dr EKA that chatting during the operation was very worrying for me and asked for silence. After the bleeding in my eye stopped, Dr. Eka just told: The operation is now over. In the days and weeks that followed, the healing of the eye was MORE PAINFUL AND SLOWER than after the first operation. During the follow-up examination the following day, I pointed out to Dr EKA the unusual blurring in the newly operated eye. That will happen in the next few days, replied Dr. EKA. I have asked the future operations to ensure that non-operational conversations are not tolerated during an operation. On the 22;10.2021 Talk with Dr. Eka, I told him, that it is not International Standard, when in middele of OP everywho come in and start a talk over “Mobil” and “lima puluh juta”. First the Dr try to bring in a Emergency case, when I told him that not right, he tell me, that he will give order to his staff, not more to talk in OP. I told, that was it, what I would reach. In the following weeks and months I was in constant email contact with the leadership of Rumah Sakit Mata Bali Mandara. Misconduct by the surgical team was DENIED! So I hired a lawyer to continue the conversation. At the same time, I tried to get a specialist report on possible surgical errors. This turned out to be impossible for Bali. The latest letter from the Mandala administration stated that there was no wrongdoing in my case in the OR. The surgical team said this unanimously. Because I was alone in the operating room as a patient, I have no other way to reveal my disaster than this post. AT LAST: After two years of constant medication, my left eye is nearly free of symptoms and I am closing this chapter for myself. I recommend installing cameras in ALL OP - rooms in the future so that unequivocal evidence is possible for the patient AND ALSO for the operating doctor.
