Great place to visit with or without kids! Huge butterflies and other insects won’t leave you indifferent. They even let you hold it!

One of the very best parks to interact closely with the animals, if you’re not afraid of insects. Guide is very informative, and great for educational purposes. The butterfly species will depend on the season. Besides butterflies, there are also other insects such as beetles, stick insect, leaf insect, and moths. We were very lucky to get close to the giant moth, seen in the picture. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in Bali.

We were there in September and at the time there were lots of baby butterflies being born. That was probably the coolest thing cuz you could watch them pull out of their cocoons and turn into something beautiful. The rest of the Butterfly Park you couldn't really see you too many butterflies and hence no five star rating. But I would go again

Compact, lush and well-curated. Up close with butterflies and stick insects. Cocoons are collected from the park and incubated, very educational for the kids to see the actual growth cycle. Fun to have butterflies and moths sticking to your hands and shirts! Rp100k is a bit costly for foreigners but worth the experience and help to maintain this park.

Huge insects are here. It’s possible to play with them. Really funny. Place to have nice photos. There is museum of old insects inside too. What’s more it’s possible to buy trinkets in souvenir shop. I think it’s the first souvenir shop where I wanted to buy something:)

If you like to have a close encounter with naturę this is the place for you. Beautiful Butterflies with few other interesting insects to watch. Nice and helpful staff. Some refurbishment would be a not bad idea though.

Unfortunately, covid has hit this place pretty hard. There's about 5 butterflies here. They only charge 50k to get in for two people. They let you know ahead of time. But if you're looking for something spectacular, this is not the place. The staff is really nice though.

Amazing place with even more amazing staff, they are extremely passionate about 🦋. They had a hard time being close for one year but I'm sure in a couple of months the place will be back to it's formal glory. Actually when you buy the tickets you don't only get access to the butterfly expo you also gain access to an amazing botanical garden.

Fantastic place! Not the most modern facility, but the staff are clearly passionate about their role as keepers of amazing wildlife and educating the public. The insects on display, alive and preserved, are absolutely amazing. It is well worth a trip, especially if you have children. We really need places like these.

Really good experience with butterfly, but you must pay attention to visit hour, because they will mostly fly around 9 am or 3 pm, the place not huge, just in 10 minute walk you can explore all part of the park, but you can enjoy every part with butterfly flying around you, the ticket are not expensive but not cheap either, plus you can learn much at museum before exit the park. Overall I'm satisfied with this place

While on the way from south to north Bali we thought to take a break from driving and it turned out to be worth while. Enjoyed a small but informative tour about butterfly moth and various insects. Very friendly staff and entrance fee includes free coffee or tea. Overall a pleasant experience.

Bali Butterfly Park is an excellent park for a day out! The park is well laid out, the museum up to date. The staff is very knowledgable and helpful. At the reception I liked the free welcome cup of coffee and the very good introduction by the receptionist. I really appreciated the explanation in the hatchery in my native language, dutch! Well done!! My only suggestion would be in the museum to provide a bit more background on the butterflies shown and to make the restaurant a bit nicer.

Butterfly park in Tabanan area. This butterfly park is different with the one in Bali Zoo. Their park a bit small, we can explore the whole park in 10 minutes. The entrance ticket for locals is IDR 40K. Also you could take a picture with the butterflies there. We recommend you to visit at 9-10am, because the weather is refreshing.

What a great experience for the family. It did not look like much from the outside and I thought the price (100000 for adults and 50000 for children) was high but once inside it was clear that the price was really modest. You go into a hatchery area where the staff take new born butterfly's and place them on your shirts for photos. The insects area was also great for the kids. Over all this was a wonderful experience and one of the best butterfly parks we have been too.

I love this place so much. It is surprisingly so educational for us. The staff explained about butterflies and other insects in detail. This place is very suitable for everyone, not only for kids and families! I hope they get a lot of tourists and customers to people know how lovely butterfly is.

Awesome place, I really enjoyed the visit. The whole place looks like an enchanted garden. The stuff is really nice, they tell you about the butterflies and other insects that live there. You can hold newborn butterflies and take pictures. There is also a small museum with butterflies from all around the world.

I went there to check the location for the preschool field trip. I was a bit sceptical about the place at first then amazed at how they maintained the place well and decent. The staff welcomed us friendly and well aware to share the information regarding the butterfly lives. You can see the butterflies 🦋 flying around freely and they have a little museum inside. It might not be as big as Bali Zoo or Safari yet a good place to visit with kids who want to acquire knowledge about insects, especially butterflies.

The Butterfly Park, is in general nice and clean. You can discover awesome butterflies in a more or less natural habitat. So the butterflies have a good life in their averagely 14 days lifetime. But the opposite to this is the condition for the squirrels and flying squirrels. Way too small cages. This is means cruelty to the animals. It’s a shame. Please provide animal appropriate cages for these animals. Or even better give freedom to this animals! It’s much more interesting to watch them in free nature. The squirrels are scared together in a corner of the cage. I am confident visitors are fine with exploring butterflies wild life only in a so called Butterfly Park. Thank you

Very serene, we can spend an hour or two in a garden and museum full of butterflies and beetle, there's a butterfly conservatory where the staff lets us hold a real live butterfly to take pictures with. Very good for children.

This butterfly park is big enough to house beatiful butterflies. It felt so magical to be around these colorful gentle flying butterflies...the aound of water flowing adds its touch of magic too. It is obvious that the butterflies here are happy. Flying and chasing each other around visitors. Its a beautiful sight 🙃 Highly recommended to those who love nature.

This place is great. It cost 100k per person and there were numerous butterflies flying around in a beautiful enclosed park. The young ladies gave us a lot of information about butterflies and answered all of our questions. They looked like they really enjoyed what they do! It was also interactive, we held moths, butterflies, stick and leaf insects. We also saw tarantulas, beetles and scorpions, among others. Totally worth the ride and the price. It's a small quiet butterfly paradise.

Totally worth a visit, especially with kids: Excellent although minimal information, lots of butterflies guaranteed and beautiful scenery. Explore pathways through a flower garden with rivers and artwork below a roof of mesh netting while butterflies flutter all around you. After exiting the butterfly garden, there’s a gift shop and open-air restaurant on-site serving Indonesian and western dishes and ice cream with a beautiful view. - Appropriate for all ages, it’s awesome for toddlers. - Take as much time and as many pictures as you’d like. - Don’t miss going into the hatchery for the giant Atlas moth. - The famous Bali Instagram scene here: a rice field with a huge sign reading I LOVE BALI.
