Amazing hindu temple on the cliff overlooking the deep blue sea♡ The view is stunning. You need to wear sarong to get it the temple area. Be careful with your hat, sun glasses, and mobile. Monkeys are naughty. They like to snatch them. Would love to go back again.

Crowded, aggressive monkeys, and no temple. Not sure why I am paying 50k IDR not to see the temple and not to go to the end of the cliff. The monkeys are aggressive and constantly stealing phones and glasses. The view and the sunset would be great if I could see anything, but the whole view was covered by hundreds of tourists. The only good thing was watching turtles down in the water.

Please take care of your stuffs because there are lot of monkeys but the view is stunning. If I can suggest to bring some fan because it is so hot. But beware of monkeys guys. Your bag, sunglasses just be careful. I just witnessed others got their stuffs taken by the monkeys. Lucky me, i not met one but just saw from afar.

Great place to see in Bali. However, there are too many monkeys all around who will come up and snatch your glasses and bags. The view from the cliff is outstanding. However, it’s okay to miss the dance. Also, the place was overcrowded on the day we visited.

This is an amazing place to explore in Bali, Indonesia. Must visit if going to Bali, Indonesia for your honeymoon or holidays. Beautiful view, crystal clear water, pure air, etc. Pure nature to look for. Lots of photos can be clicked in different angles. Everyone liked the place. Lots of small shops also for some coconut water and snacks. Coconuts were also so big and tasty. It was feeling like just sitting there for hours and enjoying the view, sound of water, Mountain and birds. And feel the breeze air. Must visit this place if going to Bali with your lover, family and friends and click lots of pictures with lots of memories.

It's a great place with nice scenic views and a beautiful sunset. However, do be careful of the wild monkeys as they are very bold and aggressive! Ensure that you do not have any dangling key chains or hand sanitiser and secure your spectacles or sunglasses as these are their favourite items to grab.

A scenic pura on top of a very tall cliff. A very majestic view to see especially during sunset. The compound is pretty huge with a walking path around the cliff. Enjoy the sea breeze and the sunset. Beware of the monkeys though, they love sandals...

I first visited this place in 2010. At that time, I was on a Study Tour from my school. The first time I visited this place, I was amazed because of its beauty. The place is so quiet with a very beautiful view. However, if you are going to visit here, you have to be careful because there are lots of monkeys roaming around. So, it is advisable not to use flashy accessories.

One of the best place to watch traditional Kecak dance with sunset on the background. The dance here usually have some comical bits embedded to it as opposed to focusing on the magical or sacred experience of the dance. It’s great for couples on date night and groups.

Great sightseeing location. Highly recommend you purchase tickets for the Kecak dance in the evening as well, it’s a unique show you should watch here when visiting Bali. Despite the cold rainy weather when we were there, they still put up a splendid performance and we really enjoyed the experience.

Loved the place. Very beautiful. Please visit in evening during sunset to get the best views. Also please see the Kechak dance here. The art of story telling through this form of dance is worth watching.

Been here three times and never get bored. I ticket is quite pricey but I love the place. The time I went there and take photo, the weather is not so nice and very gloomy but usually it will be very bright and hot and very crowded. Very easy to reach. The best way to travel in Bali is by rent a scooter but if you come with family, rent a car with driver is always the best.

The views at this temple are just beautiful! You do have to take great care of your belongings as the monkeys here are professional thieves! However, if you just stay and observe for a while the real spectacle will unfold right before your eyes, the technique of bartering these monkeys have developed is just mind-blowing!

Very nice view and would definitely come back just for the sunset. However the temple in itself is a little of a let down, not in the greatest shape. Plus the monkey make it very hard to enjoy such a place as they are rather aggressive.

One of the most beautiful temples in Bali. This place is very beautiful if enjoyed at sunset. There is access for disabled visitors, although unable to visit in its entirety. There is a kecak dance performance that can be enjoyed by visitors by paying for the entrance ticket.

Its a nice temple with large beautiful cliffs. The entrance fee is 50,000 Watch out for monkeys… there are a lot of them and they will steal anything that you have on you from glasses to flip flops. A bite from a monkey will leave you with 4 shots of rabies vaccine so definitely stay away from them and don’t interact with them. Stay in groups of people.

The temple itself is well preserved and impressive. But I would like to suggest the show, especially at sunset. Of course, it can be unbearably hot as you go before the sun goes down and take your place to grab a nice place, but the show is very fascinating.

This temple was incredible, All photos you cam take there will be just awesome. I've never seen anything like this before, the view was awesome. I went there back in March 2020 before the pandemic. Overall experience was incredible, and the entrance fees wasn't too much. I really loved it, one of the most wonderful places that you have to visit one day.

A beautiful and serene temple built on sea cliff. We visited here in 2019. I recommend visiting the temple in early morning if you don’t like crowds. Amazing views of the sea, surrounding cliffs and trees. You will have to wear a sarong. Some of the worship areas are closed for tourists. There are quite number of monkeys, so don’t bring food.

Pretty temple, with an amazing view. The view is probably the best part of this temple in my opinion. While the temple isn't bad at all, it's over quite quick. You can go for a nice walk. I'd say you can maybe spend around an hour in here. Well worth it.

The temple itself was not very impressive, I most definitely seen more incredible temples in Bali. 50K to enter, but you really pay to see the amazing views from that cliff, not the temple. I got there around 1600 and it was busy and stayed until 1900. There are parts that are very busy but there is a path that takes you away from the masses of people and you can enjoy the breath taking views. The monkeys are aggressive and I have seen then take sunglasses & a cellphone. I have seen them also flight with each other, so be careful. 50K entrance is cash only, sarong will be provided.

One of the temples that should be seen when traveling to Bali is Uluwatu Temple .This place is located at the far edge of the island. From here you can see the endless ocean and enjoy it .At sunset, a local Bali dance is held here. The victory of light over darkness! It is a very strange cultural dance that is very special. It takes a few hours, but it is really an interesting show. In the end, you can take pictures with the actors.

This place is so divine! Sarong is provided in Uluwatu Temple and you can use it for free. There is also an interesting way to get a glimpse of Balinese performance art. —Watch the Uluwatu Kecak And Fire Dance! The location is so precious and it creates the most magnificent silhouette at sunset 🌅. This is a must visit place in Bali.

Uluwatu Temple as in area is quite large. As a result, you won't receive the sensation that this location is overcrowded. The views of the sea from the cliff here are phenomenal. The sunset from Uluwatu Temple looks to be exquisite. You should avoid taking any shiny stuff with you because monkeys are notorious for snatching those.

Despite the fact you can’t enter the central hall (only for prayers) to make the best sunset photos, I really enjoyed this quite, amazing and natural historical monument. One tip can be used - drones are not permitted within the area. Taking into account ~400 monkeys living there, I assume this restriction helps you to launch a drone not in the last time in your life.

Amazing location overlooking a cliff, this temple's location cries for tourist to come visit, and rightfully so. However be careful of the monkeys there that can steal anything that is loose, esp your cell phone or glasses. And the temple shrine inside is simple. So while the temple itself is overrated, the location and breathtaking views and landscapes compensate for it's shortcomings. It's at the souther most part of the island and traffic is terrible so plan your trip accordingly.

Absolutely beautiful view at the cliffs. The waves crashing onto the shores and rocks is simply blissful. You have to be extremely careful of the monkeys as they're very used to humans and are clever to snatch things including phones and sunglasses usually in exchange for food.

Great place, ticket price to get inside for domestic is 30.000 rupiahs. If you wanna see the show you add 130.000 rupiah more. You can feel the strange feeling inside. My wife and I have been visiting Lombok island for a long time which is beautiful. During our travels from one city to another and from village to village we took the plane to go to the city of Bali on the island of Bali. We spent two nights in this chaotic city by day and by night. We rented a scooter the day after our arrival to visit the Uluwatu temple. I confess that in the city we got lost, we were in the middle of traffic and smog. We arrived at the temple in the afternoon tired. The entrance attendants give you a tunic, invite you not to wear watches, glasses, to bring photographs, and food, etc. ... because inside there are monkeys that can attack you. The temple is beautiful on a cliff facing the sea. This is a great place to take some beautiful photos and souvenir videos. We have seen a traditional show of the Hindu religion and it was interesting. I invite you to go and visit it. I wish you all a good trip and happy holidays. Hello.

You have to wear a cloth to cover your legs if your clothing is above the knee length or you can say your knees are showing. Else just have to wear a cloth on stomach. Local people pray here. Lots of spots to get pictures and enjoy a beautiful sunset. The balli dance is famous of here. Must watch but book in advance else tickets runs out very quick. Note : make sure you keep your things safe, lots of monkeys are here.

A place with a unique atmosphere, I recommend a visit in the early hours, it gets quite crowded in the afternoon and it is more difficult to take good photos there. And especially beware of personal belongings, monkeys live there who are terribly curious and like to take things that don't belong to them.

One of my favorite temple in Bali, the fact that the Balinese were able to find and build such complex on this cliff is amazing, the view is spectacular, unfortunately the monkey sometimes is a bit of a nuisance since i am wearing a glasses. Would recommend to visit this site if you can since we do not know how long the site will remains open as some area shows sign of erosion.

With breathtaking views of the ocean and a great spot to catch fabulous sunsets, this place also hosts the famous fire dance. The monkeys that live in the forest which is part of the temple premises have a field day though, stealing people's sun hats, sunglasses, even mobile phones, so best to take these off and place them in your handbags.

Be prepared for hills and steps. Be wary of the Monkey's, as they were stealing sunglasses and a mobile phone from visiting tourists. An excellent tour. I would start with this particular tour as it can be quite tiring for senior citizens.

One of all similar temples. Beware of monkeys. This visit they were very quiet. But our previous time they stalled a couple of things from other tourists. Located with the ocean view this place would be beautiful even without the temple.

Nice, interesting destination in Bali. Beautiful temple perch on top of the hill overlooking the sea. Visitors need to be careful of monkeys, might snatch handphones and glasses if not careful.

One visiting bali should not miss this amazing view of India Ocean 🌊, stay there for a couple of minutes and you actually feel pleasant. It's a really great experience.

Lovely sunset view and a very unique temple that is built on a cliff. Lots of monkeys though but if you don't disturb them or carry food in your hands, they don't bother you. We skipped the dance and focused on the sunset which is truly spectacular

Nice temple to visit, not only for the temple itself, but also for the cliff views and the wild monkeys (wilder than the ones in monkey forest, so take it into consideration and be extremely careful with your belongings). Highly recommended!

😠 This place is one big tourist trap and scam. A bored and fed up guide will explain their coffee making in 5 minutes and show you one distressed animal locked in a small horrible cage that "makes" the local luwak coffee for them. It’s difficult to make out what he’s even saying to be honest. After t...
