Visited this place to fulfill my curiosity of their "best" scramble eggs and it turned awesome just like people's review. The scramble egg fluffy and creamy, best combination with their crunchy sourdough. Menu named Jenny also great, love the combination with the pickled chilli. Staffs are friendly, we were assisted by one of the staff who recommended and gave great explanation for their menu. It has indoor and outdoor seating areas. We sat at outdoor area with sharing tables and semi open pastry kitchen view.

Baked is a popular specialty coffee bakery and cafe. We had a short wait for a table as the venue was packed inside and out. Unfortunately even at 11am most of the best options on the menu were unavailable, so we went with the Tiger Bun and Ham and Cheese Croissant. I didn’t get the hype, both dishes were very average and dry. The croissant itself was decent so I would recommend that alone if anything but I wouldn’t travel for it..

Had a chance to come and try their royal folded egg. It was good but some part of the sourdough tasted weird, and the portion wasn't quite satisfying. The atmosphere were quite lively, air circulation was good but didn't have much space, some people even bring their laptop to work here. The price was quite expensive compared to similar places. Overall quite overhyped place, not the best that I had, but still a good brunch option

The foods are awesome, great portion, price a little bit on the upper side but great quality of food. Great place to have breakfast or brunch, provide great coffee and hot chocolate. Fresh croissants and other menus. Need to arrive early or otherwise it will be crowded and need to queue. The pork bacon, scrambled eggs, posched eggs are exquisite, worth to try!

Quality isn't what we expected (compared to other competing bakeries nearby) . People were raving about this place but out of 6 breads we tried, only the chocolate and almond croissant were tasty. The egg tart was also good but we got it burned so that's a no for me. The positive thing is the place is spacious even though there were lots of people coming in and out. Some inputs to be considered: - please publish the menu online with a qr code so customers can look up the menu electronically instead of touching the menu near the register. -the music volume can be lowered because it was pretty loud

Great spot to grab brunch with a group, takeaway suggested if you're coming alone since it gets pretty packed quick. Coffee was good, all day breakfast menu is delicious, just on the higher end of prices for okay portions. Like that they sell merch on the second floor, and cashiers are located on both levels. Plenty of street parking for scooters, with an attendant waiting by. Not sure for cars.

Came here early in the morning for breakfast. Everyone has been raving about it hence the crowd even at 7 AM. Their pain au chocolat (chocolate croissant) and latte are great. Tried their famous sourdough with scrambled egg (cooked to perfection) and bacon slab.

I visited Baked Canggu 3 weeks ago and i kind of like it. The vibes and the staff very nice and friendly. I tried the avocado toast, was very good taste and fresh. Thats why i decided to bring my friend here for a coffee. But my second visit isn't as good as my first visit.Today I came at 3:30 pm and waiting in the line to place my order. Shortly after that, when my turn to place the order, a waitress politely asking me to wait (which is i am fine with that) because she need to take care the guest order. But suddenly there is a lady ( foreigner) over take my line, and surprisingly take the staff take her order without telling she need to queuing up. I am upset but still try to be patient because i know the staff was busy and looks tired. But i can hold anymore when for the second time a guy (foreigner ) over take my line again when i want to place the order, and the waitress again take the order without following the queue. I ask the waitress, why she did not following the rules and just take the order, because the system is first come first serve. She told me in Bahasa Indonesia, that because they just came suddenly so she cant do anything. I was very upset and just sit down on the corner table. Later on a staff coming, without recognize the issue, asking what i want to have. After she bring my order i give her a feedback nicely. She said that because she was new here she also doesn't know what happen and the other hand they are really busy and short of staff. I honestly very upset about this and this issue not suppose to happen in this establishment. I feel because i am local Balinese not a foreigner, i am not consider as guest, and put foreigner as a priority, feel like i discriminated in my own country .I also work in hospitality industry with an International experience and what i experience is very bad.In hospitality industry we can not differentiate guest. Is not about busy or short staff, is all about manner , how you take care guest all the same without judging where the come from. I really love this place and i hope this kind of thing won't happen again in the future. Baked team you can do better.

Just about the noisiest place I’ve ever visited in Bali, akin to being in a football stadium, and it was less than 1/2 full. Visited 1pm and out of all cakes except plain or coconut croissant, which was over cooked, borderline burnt as some photos suggest. And of course they didn’t have the juice I wanted either. Coffee just average. There are way waaaaayyyyy better places than this! Having said all that - other people there seemed to like it, so...

Amazing scramble! Try it! You have to know - this place is to eat pastry and scramble! Plus: open from 7:00, lot space for parking, very good stuff, best croissant. Minus: very simple place, too much people, small toilet, a little bit hot inside, open till 16:00 Joint it early in the morning or later at 14:00-15:00, in other way there is no free table for you

A great place for breakfast or just a snack and coffee in the middle of the day. Have been here a lot of times and it is always good. They have a variety of pastries to choose from and the ones that I tried were all very good. Their soft served ice cream was also decent and the Coffee was great. The inviting ambiance of the restaurant not only elevates the overall dining experience but also serves as a harmonious backdrop that enhances and complements the food, creating a truly enjoyable meal.

Really cool vibes. I ordered the best scrambled eggs with extra salmon. The flavours were good but I wouldn’t order it again, I prefer my eggs more well done. I also had an oat latte which was nice. All the pastries looked amazing, would go back again and try something else! 😊

We ordered a few different pastries and their scrambled egg on weekdays AM. It was not too difficult to get seating as there were few empty tables. The ambience is very chillax, u got to hang out , work or dine in, whichever float your boat. Our winner is their scrambled egg as it tastes heavenly.

Great place for breakfast. Sourdough are well made. Tried both scramble and benedict, all good. Fair for the price. 6 tables for outdoor seating. The rest are indoors. Health protocols : - crowded place, no social distancing - staff wear masks, some dont (just like in picture) and some wear only to cover their mouth and chin - indoor area hence rely on AC, would prefer to be more open / well ventilated

Heard a lot about this place, friends advised. rReally wanted to go. Came at 5-6 pm, there were almost no people. I liked the place, but there are much more minuses: - Very loud music, difficult to work and have a conversation with a friend. - None of the sockets work. - I asked the workers to put the phone on charge to themselves, they refused. - Lack of light in the evening. - There is little toppings in baking. - We couldn't heat up the pastries, as they decided to wash the oven in the middle of the day. - Slow wifi had high expectations from the place, but nothing came true

Enjoyed the smashed avo and scrambled eggs this morning - absolutely delicious! Bread was super fresh soft and crunchy on the outside and the coffee was fabulous too! They didn't have almond milk so we substituted for oat and it was just as good. Will come back again for sure, highly recommend!💖

I first heard of baked from my wife, she said that the place is really trending on tiktok. To be honest I was a bit pessimistic cos some of the trending places on tiktok that i went to was overrated and just not good but oh how wrong I was. Had one of the best coffee ever in Bali. Also the pastry and the food was top notch. I ordered the salmon bagel, even though they ran out of bagel and had to use sourdough it was still beautiful. The combination of the cream cheese, smoked salmon, dill, capers and red onion was just on point. Loved it. The wife ordered the best scramble which was also trending on tiktok, and that was the perfect scrambled I had ever eaten. Mixed with the brown butter, creme fraiche, chives and the roe made it the perfect bite. My daughter also had the pain au choc and she destroyed it in seconds. The foods we tried were simple but perfect. Loved it. Definitely a place that we will visit again!

We just got coffees here. I got my standard double espresso and my wife the ice long black. The coffee was good, nice place to chill however the flies are god Damn annoying AF. The coffee I felt is slightly overpriced. I’ve had better in canggu. We weren’t hungry but I’m sure the food is great here.

Delicious croissants, cozy place, good for chatting, hanging out and cooling off during the hot afternoons. but it's difficult to find parking, especially if you drive. The location is top notch, in the middle of Canggu area

Food was delicious. Had the almond croissant which was super flaky but soft on the inside, just how I like it. Not over cooked. As good as some of the bakeries you could find in San Francisco. Also had the yogurt bowl with fresh and stewed strawberries. (No stomach problems!)

Yummy food, bread and pastries freshly baked on site. Love the Korean honey toast, bread was well toasted, crispy exterior with a nice soft crumb, whipped mascarpone paired perfectly with the honey. Tomatoes toast was so good, I had twice in consecutive days. The croissants did not disappoint. Service staff was mostly friendly and helpful, gave 4 stars because one of my visit, I was served warm strawberry smoothie which tasted weird, when I mentioned it to a staff member, all he did was added ice cubes which dilute the drink and made it worse. Overall a nice and cosy place for brunch and just to chill. Their sourdough loaf is really good, even bought a loaf to bring home.

I have been on a croissant frenzy for the search of the best (traditionally tasting, on par with Paris ~ give and take) plain croissant in Canggu area. I usually try at least twice and around 8-11am to be as fair as possible. Out of 8 well known bakeries, Baked comes out top 3. In fact, the best I think. (although by personal preference, my heart belongs to another) I have tried their plain croissants 3 times, always a pleasure. Great buttery taste, lightly crisped and chew, perfect moisture content. It’s not overly baked and dry on the outside which surprisingly happens very often. It’s a perfectly perfect croissant. I read a review here that Baked did not warm or heat up the croissant….please do not let a bakery toast your croissant Other pastries makes Baked my go to bakery too. Only a small selection that they completely aced on (eg Fold and Butterman has wayyyyy too many pastries and are hits and misses) and none overly sweet. The bun on sticky bun is so nice and yeasty, the dulce cruffin have enough density and filling to pastry ratio, the bread for Korean honey toast has great flavor and is well toasted and soft, good butter. It’s the little details that makes Baked my favorite bakery in the chaotic Canggu with endless cafe options selling avocado toast. Sometimes all you need is a good pastry. Not to mention their drip coffee (and refillable) !! This is such a nostalgic option for me. I don’t think I have found another cafe that serves drip coffee. It’s a nice medium roast that fills my heart lol milk on the side is free. Their ice americano has a nice dark profile Lastly, I do look for cafe with a comfortable and conducive area for coffee, cigarettes and reading. I do prefer this location to Pererenan. Not because I like the modern architecture and aesthetic of this location, I actually do not like it at all. I do however, enjoy the outside seats in front of the cafe. You can lean on the wall lol there are trees for shady options, it is lined with potted plants that kinda keeps the dust and noise away. They don’t blast outdoor music or music at all, at least when I was there. The location in Pererenan is what we call in NYC fully inside outside and outside inside. It’s an open area, very airy and spacious but smoking area is close to dinning and speakers plays music. I don’t necessarily want to be around diners for those activities and would usually go to coffee roasters/ specialty that doesn’t serve food.

Had the Korean honey toast twice in 2 consecutive days! I love it so much! The raw honey is floral with hints of elderflower, toast has a nice texture and crunch to it. The mascarpone cream is nice and fluffy.

Visited the place around 4pm on weekday. It was quiet and ambience was great to just chill and relax. Staff were friendly and greeted me with smiles. Mocha has a good blend of coffee and chocolate. Coffee art was great. Opted for Benny , Gojuchang Hollandaise With muffin. Took a while for order to arrive hot and eggs well done. Serving was just nice for a person to finish. Sauce, kale and poached eggs went so well with sauces. Only wished there were more gojuchang hollandise sauce. Good cafe to visit for ambience, food and coffee!

One of the best place to have your breakfast or brunch in Canggu area! This cafe is located in Tibubeneng Village and really easy to find. Combining white-toned concept with nature touch inside makes this place is really comfy to have your meals and talk with friend. I ordered ham and cheese croissant and also almond croissant beforr and it was really tasteful🤤 The price is quite pricey but worth the taste and the portion. The staff serve us with good manners. All orders were served within 15 minutes. The parking area isn't that large so i recommend you to bring motorbikes to go there👍

The place is very busy so be prepared to potentially not find a table, and there can be a line for the bathroom. However food is good for what you pay for. The coffee isn’t too bad either, but also nothing to be excited about.

08/29/23; Got to this baked shop my last day in canggu with a 姐姐— she said this is her go to brekkie place whenever she’s in Bali. The second floor is peaceful and quiet, good for chatting or just reading. Got the yuzu iced tea, a lil bit sweet but perfectly for this island weather. Loved the deco vibe. Also took the baklava pastry and cardamom bun for take-away. Absolutely loved them so much. Rudy time eating baklava, nutty paste in a made-bread- pastry. Also the cardamom bun is just perfectly sticky and sweet and flavor 很正!5/5 recommend to try both!

Good place to come get coffee and a pastry! The breakfast looked really nice too but we had already had breakfast. We got a coconut croissant and a lemon pastry. We actually came for an almond croissant but they were already sold out so come earlier than 10am if you want one! The iced latte and cold brew were also great!

Visited Baked with my family because I was curious about why it is so popular. I was not impressed with the food and service. In particular, one of the croissants that we ordered was missed out even though I was the second customer of the day. In addition, the bagel and croissants were not warmed up. I think this is a basic thing to do. Hence, I suggest that management provide better training for the staff (or enforce the training if such training were done). The coffee and hot chocolate were good. I'm currently having breakfast at a nearby competitor place: they got the basics right.

Had Brunch at Baked, it was all nice and yummy. We needed to wait in line in front of the store before they let us inside after 10/15min. They let us choose for outside or inside if we wanted inside we would need to wait for a little bit more .. the prices are good for the quantity of the food. You can see also how they make their dough through the laboratory.

The place was packed although we went there around 11 AM. We got our table quite fast. Heard about this spot for awhile now. Tried the fancy scramble egg. It was awesome but a bit too rich (milky) for my taste. I ordered cappuccino and square croissant matcha and they're both on point. The square matcha's filling was oozing out & the skin was so flaky 👌🏻Will definitely come back again when I visit Bali in the future

I recently visited Baked Cafe Shop in Simanyak and had a delightful experience. Let me start by saying that their pastries are absolutely divine. I ordered the Almond Croissant and Baklava Croissant, and both were exceptional. The Almond Croissant was flaky and buttery, with a generous filling of almond paste that added a delightful sweetness. The Baklava Croissant, on the other hand, was a unique twist on a classic dessert. The combination of flaky croissant pastry and the rich flavors of baklava made for a truly indulgent treat. I highly recommend trying both if you have a chance! To accompany my pastries, I opted for the Rosella Hibiscus Ice Tea. It was a refreshing and vibrant drink that perfectly complemented the flavors of the croissants. The hint of hibiscus added a pleasant tartness, making it a perfect choice for a sunny day. For those who prefer coffee, I also tried their Organic Oat Latte. The baristas at Baked Cafe Shop certainly know their craft. The latte was expertly made, with a rich, smooth texture and a subtle nutty flavor from the organic oat milk. It was a comforting and satisfying choice for a mid-day pick-me-up. The ambiance at Baked Cafe Shop was cozy and inviting. The comfortable seats allowed me to relax and enjoy my treats in a laid-back setting. The interior design was stylish yet unpretentious, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made me want to linger for hours. The service at Baked Cafe Shop was top-notch. The staff members were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They greeted me with warm smiles and were more than happy to answer any questions I had about the menu. Their attentiveness and genuine enthusiasm for their craft added to the overall positive experience. Thank you for giving your lovely costumer a great way to enjoy BALI with your creative flair. #BakedItIN

Went there around 12pm, usual-crowd, cool ambience and I must say a really yum croissant! not sure whether they ran out of Almond Croissant that day or I'm not lucky enough to get one, so got the butter croissant instead and it's beyond my expectation! Guess they will made the croissant several round each day, because I saw them served the fresh pastries when I was about to go home.

(Translated by Google) Insanely delicious. It turns out not cheap, but I liked it, I would come here sometimes)) The most delicious poached eggs that I tried in Canggu (I often order this dish). The coffee is also tasty, but the prices are slightly higher than average. Of some advantages: taxes are already included in the price of meals. From pastries, we have tried a croissant with chocolate. Somehow I need to go in and pounce on almond croissant 😃 Cons: noisy, many visitors)) (Original) Безумно вкусно.
