Foods: 4/5 good quality Drinks: 4/5 (esp. For wine) Value for money: 3/5 Service: 3/5 (but I prefer they don't clean my table too soon after I'm finished, for us it feels too commercial). Ambience: 4/5 (quite small, but has a unique ambiance n interior). Getting a good wine might not an easy task in Bali. Only some good restaurants serve good quality of wines. This place is one of them. My husband quite a picky one, and he likes the wine here. Most of the customers are foreigners.. So expect a foreign price.

Excellent service and phenomenal food at reasonable prices! The server didn’t recommend the baby squids but we went with our gut, ordered it and it was the best dish ever! The grilled snapper and tomato salad were also great. Best tapas we’ve had in a long time!

Absolutely lovely experience. We chose this place for our last dinner in Bali and it was so spot on. Every dish we had was mind blowing. And portions for tapas bar a bigger than usual. Would def recommend getting a tuna tartar, unique smoky taste. The stuff was also great, so polite and attentive. We even got dessert gifted as it was our last dinner and the digestive homemade infusion was so good. Top notch experience overall.

I will be back. It was such a treat. The deco, the attentive service. A genuine check on how the food is and if it needs improvement. Simply A good quality tapas place with excellent service. They even shared a traditional homemade vodka shot mixture with us and comp our desserts as a Christmas cheer. We ordered a lot a lot of plates for 2 people: 1. Grilled octopus 2. Christmas special pork chop with berry compote 3. Squid stuffed with pork belly ( my fav) 4. Pork belly with super crispy skin and melty fats 5. Asparagus with soft cooked eggs 6. Red snapper carpaccio with yuzu yummy 7. Chicken wings with a sweet honey marinate 8. Orange infused crème brûlée 9. Caramel cheese cake 10. Drinks: Mojito with a generous rum serving, long black, lemongrass ice tea which I went for 2! Like I said we will be back and will want to try their sister Japanese izakaya next door.

This place definitely deserves a mention. Stumbled upon this place as it was walking distance from where I was staying whilst in Bali. The staffs are the highlight of this place, special mention to Ray and Komong who both made me feel so welcomed and took exceptional care of me, gave me great food and beverage recommendations and were pure joy to talk to! The food, oh wow I cannot get enough of it, so much so that the next evening, which happened to be my last evening in Bali I just had to go back again! I’m still craving for everything until this day. Portion was very generous for being tapas. The atmosphere is amazing and I will definitely recommend everyone to go there and go back again when I’m back! Thank you Alma team :)

This tapas restaurant is an amazing place. The wait staff and food are the heart and soul of this beautiful dining venue. On our first visit, the friendly manager greeted us and introduced us to our waiter- Komang who learnt our names and proceeded to make some food recommendations. 5 tapas dishes ought to satisfy 2 pax, as per her recommendation. We went with those she pointed out, including the wagyu, mushroom croquettes and chorizo, but what took the cake for us was the octopus with mash in chorizo oil. That convinced us to return a second time. This time our waitress Lis entertained us with enlightening facts about Bali, and amazing service. The price is reasonable here, with dishes ranging between 75k-125k ruppiah on average per dish. This gem is a MUST VISIT if ever in canggu. Also a stone throw away from the beach.

We ordered four dishes, wagyu steak tender, chicken leg, chicken breast and asparagus, and two cocktail. All tasted fabulous. The service was excellent too, our waitress, Komang, was very friendly. She introduced many nice spots for us to travel around Bali. Knowing it’s our honeymoon, she also offered us a chocolate mousse cake to celebrate. Very nice experience overall!

Great tapas and cocktails

A very cool, very good, and very nice place. They are a tad expensive, but very very much worth it. The staff is nice, and if you doesn't know what to get, they could gave their recommendations, and it doesn't miss. All of their recommendations taste amazing. It is a bit crowded tho. So if you could, please try to reserve a table first. The best one for my taste is the octopus with mashed potatoes dish, and the cheesecake with dulce de leche sauce. Try it!

AMAZING place ❤️❤️ The restaurant is very nice, they have fans on the terrasse and the decoration is cute. The food was amazing. I come from the border of Spain so I can say those tapas were great !!! It was excellent. Cocktails were also delicious. They even made Moscow mule and Amaretto sour for us, even though they were not on the menu. The price was maybe higher than elsewhere, but very reasonable : for 4 tapas, 6 cocktails and a dessert, we paid 60€ for two (30€ each). Finally, the staff was the best. Always smiling, cheerful, and they would do their best so that we could enjoy the evening. Thank you ❤️ It’s my favourite place in Canggu

This place is undoubtedly a gem in town. Incredible vibe with a lot of cultural elements. Menus lean more towards Spanish but has some other and local addition. Came on Tuesday night with special Gin & Tonics. Good selection of food including appetizers that were delicious. Most importantly, the staff here were friendly and helpful.

Went here with my partner for tapas. The tapas were good. Their patatas bravas are nice and crunchy Spanish style and the salsa is very good. Their chorizo was also tasty, especially considering its hard to find these type of products in the region. Their tortilla however can improved.. It looked good, but the taste was off as they put cheese. Traditional tortilla doesn't go with cheese. Other tapas were good too. And the cocktails were delicious. It has nice ambiance. I'd go back again.

Very satisfied with my meal in Alma! Food was very high quality and drinks were really good. Got the croquettes, stuffed squid and the steak tartare-all very unique with good flavors! Staff was nice too! Would definitely recommend to reserve a table since it seems a little bit busy and place is a bit small!

Came here few weeks ago and there's seriously something wrong when the white male manager / owner? isn't wearing a mask, while the rest of the staff are wearing a mask serving customers. Why the double standard? You're supposed to be setting an example for your workers and given your restaurant is indoors as well, chances of people catching covid are way higher. As for the food, Pescado is better. But follow Covid protocols PLEASE. You need to follow Indonesian and local laws!!!

A great place. Cozy and well designed, with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Quick and very attentive service. We loved the food - both the taste and the serving. Tried different dishes (baby squids, tomato salad, mini burgers, octopus, beef tartar, asparagus with poached egg, snapper carpaccio, ham croquettes and mushroom croquettes), and they were all delicious. They also have a good selection of infused gin tonics which are very refreshing. There were no desserts on the menu, but they said “no problem” and suddenly produced a super-tasty dessert for us in no time (and for free) :) Also got herbal cinnamon liqueur shots as a compliment. Would definitely come again. The place has the same owner as the japanese restaurant (One Eyed Jack) next door which is also good, and the two restaurants have a common loyalty program with a 10% cashback and additional discount options for frequent visitors.

We stopped by here off the street and have been raving about it since. The food was exceptional - the snapper carpaccio was some of the best flavours I’ve ever had, stuffed squid was also a standout, as was the beef. Every dish we had was so delicious, and the service was super friendly and attentive. We will most definitely be back!

Amazing spanish tapas! Tuna tartare, baked snapper, Octopus, pork sliders and sautéed mushroom were our faves. Simple dishes but there’s depth in the flavours. Friendly service throughout.

Service, ambience, decor and drinks were all great but the food was just okay.. The first two dishes weren’t bad (cold cuts platter and mixed vegetables) but the rest tasted very similar because they used the same sauce, garnishes and flavours. Prices are normal for the area and I’m glad I tried it.

Came here with chope rsvp, the waitress really show high standard of service and introduction to the menu and surely they deserve those service charges. Ordered the special wagyu and chimichurri wagyu, it tastes fantastic to say the least! The Pineapple gin was great and the taco Tuesday was real worth. One's downside was it took quite a while for the dishes to be served, but it was forgive-able since the place was stuffed.

Beautiful and thoughtful decor in a cozy setting. Happy hour cocktail was amazing. We ordered five tapas dishes and they were all good. we especially loved the ceviche and mushroom with cream sauce. What a gem in Bali!

Had a quick and small dinner here, couldn’t eat much after spending the whole day eating and drinking at Atlas Beach Club. Tried the octopus, squid and fish. Best dish was the squid. Skip the octopus. Not the best I’ve had. Taste wise ok. Texture wise, not as great. Having said that, the wine and mojito were good. Service rendered was friendly as well. Because they didn’t quite nail the octopus, I won’t be able to give them 5 stars. But a close one.

All the food here are flawless and the staff here are passionate especially Liz, always provide her best hospitality to us. I highly recommend this restaurant from my bottom of my heart! Don’t miss it if you are in Canggu!

Found this place near our hotel on our first night. We arrived when it just started to rain and the staff kindly parked our bike for us. We ordered the mixed cheese platter, mushroom & mashed potato and carpaccio all are excellent in taste, everything pairs well together. Atmosphere is lively with the live music. Came here tonight, had the best Octopus dish I have ever eaten in Bali. The staff were very friendly and had great recommendations. Pictured: mojitos - special mojito night, we had 3 each over dinner; Asparagus, topped with cheese; wagyu beef; chicken wings; cheesecake. Not pictured: chorizo (pork), octopus, and the special gnocchi, creme brulee and herb-infused digestif (both complimentary). The octopus and wagyu are probably the best things we tried, but all of the dishes were excellent. Not a single miss. All were shared between two people. Extra tip: One Eyed Jack next door (same owner) is equally amazing, that's at least two nights of dinner sorted. Both restaurants are worth 5 stars.

Really good tapas! Highly recommend the potato omelette! Service is great - they forgot about one of our dishes and gave us a free dessert to make up for it. Don’t bother getting the cocktails or sangria though, it basically tasted like water. Best to save your money and spend it on their food!

What a gem of a place !! So many wonderful dishes. We went on a Sunday night so 50K Sangria's ( BIG tick ). Some of the food you must try are the following: Setas Patatas ( mashed potato & mushrooms..delish, Rib eye with Chimichurri Sauce, Squid stuffed with Chorizo .. so many nice dishes, you have to try.

Hands down the best tapas in Bali right now. Took Portuguese friends to dinner and they were genuinely impressed. Very hard to find a fault at all at this restaurant but please add some soft bread to the menu for mopping up excess sauce on plates! Dined twice in one week it's so good here.

A real gem of a restaurant. Enjoyed the menu and the ambiance so much that we went back a couple of times during our time in Bali. The steak tartare with the theatre when served, was definitely one of the best I've had from around the world.

Fantastic drinks and atmosphere at this clean, modern and low-lit tapas bar. 50K sparkling wine/sangria before 7pm and very close to Finn's Beach club so perfect for a meal before going there. Not exactly cheap but definitely worth the money for a slightly higher-end experience.

Since my first and second visit with 5* I'm now on 5th visit revising my rating. As the place has grown in popularity the standards seem to have dropped. Last visit had all seafood overcooked and the first reason for coming in (the 15yo Glenfiddich) is no longer available. Staff is still awesome and so is venue but the food is now overpriced as for what to expect. First review with 5* Such an amazing gem! The interior is a feast for the eyes to start with. The staff is incredible and the food is AMAZING. Every dish was cooked perfectly and seasoned to near perfection. Came here last night just for drinks and just had to come back for a meal that lived up to every expectation and more! Don't come here, I want this place to myself!

Super food and cocktails

One Eyed Jack combined with Alma and I’ve never been more disappointed. Between the overly loud music at 6:30p and the utter lack of attention from their servers my long awaited dinner with a friend turned into a tragically dismal two hour experience where they forgot our order and were overall disinterested in our happiness. Corona may be hard but Alma is harder on the heart.
