Awesome place. The food is better than expected. The tempura was spectacular, delicious and light. The gyoza and tonkatsu were both good as well. Its tough to beat the view from this place. Highly recommend if you are looking for good food and a great chill view of the beach. The beer is cheap too, so even better for hanging around for awhile :)

It's a familial restaurant with really friendly staff. I went twice in two days whereas there are a lot of restaurants in this beach. Moreover it's cheap so don't hesitate!

The ambiance is great; some of the other restaurants nearby have music playing that you can hear and you can eat either at the restaurant itself or on beanbags on the beach. The restaurant is only accessible via beach and has stadium-like booths. We got off-the-menu sushi: crispy avocado roll on the left, crispy salmon skin roll on the RIGHT (sorry, I forgot to take pictures until after we ate some). Both were delicious but the (not pictured) crispy salmon roll was the best. Pork gyoxa was GREAT.

We love to hang out here on Sunday afternoon. Feet in te black sand, cold coconut, amazing Gyoza. The owners are super nice and very welcoming! One of our regular dishes lace to hang for weekend beach day or sunset!

Lovely place, family who runs it are great, fried shrimp are amazing and my Korean wife shouted, "Hallelujah!" when she smelled the buckwheat noodle.

I have eaten here several times & can never wait to get back ! Food is amazing ! Staff are a wonderful local family who own, cook & wait. The chef ( Dad ) has 18 years experience as a chef at Ryoshi . Beachfront, watch the surf & enjoy a cold beer !

Horrible. Waiters are super rude - when you say something is wrong they tell you to ask in other restaurants how much the food would cost, basically it’s cheap here so eat however it comes. The tables are all broken (no joke like big holes in them!) & the food is below average. Avoid!

My go to for Japanese comfort food. Their katsudon, bento box and soba noodles are so yummy. The staff isn't quite fully trained in knowing their menu so when we were ordering, he was taking a long time to write it down and missed a few items. But maybe it's because they're newly open.

Delicious super fresh sushi & Japanese food. The quality of the sushi is better than most places in Australia, and it's super reasonably priced. We shared two plats of Maki rolls, karage chicken, rice, miso eggplant and a large bitang for $21 AUD. Perched in the shade up on a wooden deck overlooking the ocean, it's an absolute must try.
